  1. 0:00The door opens an inch. You put your shoulder into it.
  2. 0:03Ines shoves the cabinet across. Your friend pushes beside her.
  3. 0:07Three taps. A pause. Three more. Then a boot.
  4. 0:12Someone copied your signal. You nearly let him inside.
  5. 0:15Before the gap shuts, you see a dark blue cap.
  6. 0:18The same man who stood beside Ines on the roof.
  7. 0:21He stops pushing. His fingers slide out of the gap.
  8. 0:24You arrived an hour ago. Your new home already has a visitor.
  9. 0:30At dawn he tells you the price of being left alone.
  10. 0:33Twelve litres. Every morning. Left outside the main entrance.
  11. 0:37He does not need your door open. Only your bottles.
  12. 0:41You tell him there is no water to spare.
  13. 0:43For a while, he says nothing at all.
  14. 0:46Thirty days of food for three. Thirty-two litres of safe water.
  15. 0:50That night, a slow scrape travels across the other side.
  16. 0:54Not an attempt to open it. A reminder he can return.
  17. 0:57Ines touches the key hanging at her neck, then your plan.
  18. 1:02The plan missed one door. She will not trust the rest.
  19. 1:07Two days pass. Your stock loses sixteen litres.
  20. 1:11Drinks, washing, spilled drops. Eight litres between three each day.
  21. 1:16It leaves no comfortable margin for illness or hard work.
  22. 1:19Ines eats half her beans, then watches you count the bottles.
  23. 1:23You have food for weeks. Water for two more days.
  24. 1:27Sixteen litres left. Another closed room is no longer optional.
  25. 1:31Your friend holds the archive entrance while Ines leads you out.
  26. 1:34She remembers deliveries coming through a separate staff corridor.
  27. 1:38The front locks changed. These old service locks did not.
  28. 1:41Her key turns. Beyond the door, dust lies undisturbed.
  29. 1:45Four cases of sealed water behind empty paper boxes.
  30. 1:49Ninety-six litres. Too much for one trip, even between three.
  31. 1:53You bring back one case and shut both doors again.
  32. 1:56Ines keeps the key. Your friend keeps the count.
  33. 2:01By day ninety-seven, all ninety-six litres are in the archive.
  34. 2:05Four quiet carrying trips. Every return checked before another departure.
  35. 2:10The next shelf has less dust. A wet bottle ring.
  36. 2:14Somebody has been taking from here while you were upstairs.
  37. 2:16The collector knows this corridor. He missed the lower cupboard.
  38. 2:20Inside are more sealed cases, and intact tins behind them.
  39. 2:24One hundred and sixty litres. Twenty-one more days at your ration.
  40. 2:28Enough to make the archive feel like a decision again.
  41. 2:31It takes five more carrying trips over the next four days.
  42. 2:35You mark each load after it arrives. Found is not carried.
  43. 2:39Thirty-two plus ninety-six, minus fifty-six used. Seventy-two litres actually here.
  44. 2:45Ines adds every door to the plan, including the hidden one.
  45. 2:48She draws a little cross where the collector stood.
  46. 2:51Your friend marks the number of journeys left to make.
  47. 2:53You have stopped waiting for rescue. Now you have a routine.
  48. 2:59The last cases arrived yesterday. Today, water comes without bottles.
  49. 3:04A brown line creeps beneath the entrance during the rain.
  50. 3:07You move supplies up. Ines moves the bedding onto the table.
  51. 3:11She watches the wet patch spread instead of celebrating the haul.
  52. 3:15Thirty-nine days of food. One hundred and ninety-two litres of safe water.
  53. 3:20Ines remembers the pump the cleaners complained about every winter.
  54. 3:24You find it one corridor lower. Silent. No power.
  55. 3:28There is no generator, no fuel, and no repair you understand.
  56. 3:32You leave the wiring alone. A dead pump is not an exit.
  57. 3:36Floodwater can hide sewage, chemicals, sharp objects, and electrical hazards.
  58. 3:43After the rain, the patch shrinks. It never quite disappears.
  59. 3:47Your friend points at the bottles safely above it.
  60. 3:50A screw cap does not make a flood-touched bottle safe.
  61. 3:53Anything the dirty water reaches stays out of your meals.
  62. 3:57All three of you sleep on the sorting table now.
  63. 4:00Ines used to clean this floor. She knows its slope.
  64. 4:03The archive is the lowest room. Water will choose it first.
  65. 4:07You count tins. She counts steps to the next dry landing.
  66. 4:12The three taps return on day one hundred and eight.
  67. 4:15This time the collector asks how your feet are doing.
  68. 4:19He knows about the rain. He knows which room floods.
  69. 4:22He offers a dry upstairs floor for every bottle you own.
  70. 4:26Ines shakes her head before you can answer him.
  71. 4:28The other way out has changed while you watched this door.
  72. 4:31The tower passage is no longer empty. Two shapes at the far end.
  73. 4:36You close it before either gets near the bank.
  74. 4:38One route belongs to the collector. Another belongs to the infected.
  75. 4:43Thirty-three days of food. One hundred and forty-four litres. Two blocked routes.
  76. 4:48Ines pulls the cleaning trolley away from a narrow door.
  77. 4:52Deliveries used a maintenance stair. She remembers mopping its top landing.
  78. 4:56It is missing from the old plan too.
  79. 4:58This time, she has something better than a line on paper.
  80. 5:03The stair climbs toward a strip of grey daylight.
  81. 5:06At the top is a steel grille, lifted by an old counterweight.
  82. 5:10Ines tests the outside release lock. Her key fits.
  83. 5:14You raise the grille together. It stays above your heads.
  84. 5:17For the first time, your exit does not lead underground.
  85. 5:21The yard has a van, a street gate, and nobody moving.
  86. 5:24Beyond the gate, the next building has an upper window open.
  87. 5:28An opening is not shelter. You still need to check inside.
  88. 5:32You come back while the route is quiet and dry.
  89. 5:34Ines gives you the key. You will check the yard first.
  90. 5:37Your friend will follow. Ines will bring up the rear.
  91. 5:41You practise the order once, with no bags at all.
  92. 5:43Everyone comes through. Nothing catches. You mistake that for a promise.
  93. 5:50Rain again. You stop asking whether the archive will flood.
  94. 5:54Now you ask what can leave before it does.
  95. 5:56Your shoulders cannot take all the water and all the food.
  96. 6:00Ines puts five days of meals into three small bags.
  97. 6:04Everything else stays where you can still see it.
  98. 6:07Twenty-six days of food. Eighty-eight litres of water. Most of it cannot come.
  99. 6:13The water mark has climbed since the first shower.
  100. 6:16Your friend wants to leave tonight. You think the rain might stop.
  101. 6:20Ines looks at the table, then at your packed bags.
  102. 6:23You agree: one final check, then the first clear route.
  103. 6:28The final check finds three infected beside the van.
  104. 6:32The street gate stands open. Somebody passed through after your visit.
  105. 6:36You retreat down the stairs before they notice the movement.
  106. 6:39Your third route still exists. Its quiet moment is gone.
  107. 6:43Two nights waiting with your bags beside your knees.
  108. 6:46Each scout sees the same shapes beside the same van.
  109. 6:49You keep the meals packed, replacing what the three of you eat.
  110. 6:53Leaving has a risk you can see. Staying has one you keep postponing.
  111. 6:59At dusk the next storm arrives before the yard empties.
  112. 7:03This time the brown line becomes a sheet across the floor.
  113. 7:07A document box lifts. Turns. Drifts toward your bed.
  114. 7:11The marks Ines drew near the floor disappear beneath it.
  115. 7:15You leave while the raised corridor edge is still above the water.
  116. 7:19Five days of food. Twelve litres. Seventeen food days and forty-four litres stay behind.
  117. 7:25Through the open door, you can still see the abandoned tins.
  118. 7:29Nothing is wrong with them yet. You simply cannot carry them.
  119. 7:33You want one more trip. Ines takes hold of your scarf.
  120. 7:36This time, you follow her without arguing.
  121. 7:39The narrow dry edge gets you to the stair doorway.
  122. 7:42No search for the pump. No return for another bottle.
  123. 7:46Your torch dims as you reach the first steps.
  124. 7:48The batteries you once saved are upstairs in the abandoned radio.
  125. 7:52The infected still stand in the yard. You wait on the upper steps.
  126. 7:57Through the night, a little more of the lower stair disappears.
  127. 8:00You drink from the carried bottles. None of the floodwater counts.
  128. 8:04By dawn, only four litres remain between the three bags.
  129. 8:09At dawn, the shapes move through the street gate and away.
  130. 8:13You go first. Close the gate. Check behind the van.
  131. 8:17The yard is empty. You turn and wave the others through.
  132. 8:20Your friend has one hand on the rail. Ines is behind her.
  133. 8:24Above the doorway, something snaps. The grille drops between you.
  134. 8:28Nobody is struck. For one second, that feels like luck.
  135. 8:32Then you pull. The twisted tracks will not let it rise.
  136. 8:36Ines grips the bars. Below her, another step disappears.
  137. 8:40Two people inside. One outside. Four litres. No way back through the yard.
  138. 8:45The outside release. The lock you tested when everything was dry.
  139. 8:49You still have the key. Ines sees it and lets go of the bars.
  140. 8:53You put the key into the lock. Half of it comes back out.
