  5. 0:24to reach a small lake.
  6. 0:29He eagerly quenched his thirst
  7. 0:32and went to rest
  8. 0:34under the cool shade
  9. 0:36of a baobab tree.
  10. 0:40Zippy tried to fall asleep,
  11. 0:44but he felt
  12. 0:45uncomfortable
  13. 0:47and very itchy.

  16. 0:52there had been tiny fleas
  17. 0:55all over his body.

  58. 2:47tempting fleas on you!”

  60. 2:50settled down on Zippy’s back.
  61. 2:54“Delicious?” groaned Zippy,
  62. 2:57“I am totally bugged by them!
  63. 3:00I just can’t get them off,
  64. 3:02no matter how hard I try.”
  65. 3:08“We are very hungry, Zippy,
  66. 3:09and we love fleas.
  67. 3:12May we eat up all these…
  68. 3:14nasty creatures?”
  69. 3:16asked Pick and Peck.
  70. 3:17“Sure! Be my guests!”
  71. 3:20exclaimed Zippy delighted.
  72. 3:27The birds began.
  73. 3:31They pecked at the fleas
  74. 3:33on his face and legs,
  75. 3:35they cleaned Zippy’s belly
  76. 3:37and cleaned Zippy’s back.
  77. 3:40The zebra stood still,
  78. 3:42letting the birds eat their fill.
  79. 3:49And finally,
  80. 3:51they were all happy.
  81. 3:54The zebra had been freed
  82. 3:55of the annoying fleas
  83. 3:57and the two birds
  84. 3:58had enjoyed a splendid meal.
  85. 4:03“Thank you very much
  86. 4:05for pecking
  87. 4:06those nasty fleas
  88. 4:07off my body.”
  89. 4:10“Oh! We must
  90. 4:11thank you,
  91. 4:11for providing us
  92. 4:12with such a flea meal –
  93. 4:13free meal.”
