5. 0:26important topics that Christians could
6. 0:28learn if they're dealing with Islam I
7. 0:30would say is learning what the Quran
8. 0:32says about the Bible because if you're a
9. 0:36Christian you're having a discussion
10. 0:37with Muslim you're obviously going to
11. 0:38have disagreements on fundamental issues
12. 0:40like Jesus death and his divine nature
13. 0:43and you can show if you know the
14. 0:44scriptures you can show in the Bible
15. 0:47where Jesus died on the cross he rose
16. 0:50from the dead you can show he's the son
17. 0:51of God you can show these things and so
18. 0:54the Muslim is forced to say ah but your
19. 0:57book has been corrupted and Muslim think
20. 1:00that that's what the Quran says and so
21. 1:03they assume that the Quran according to
22. 1:04the Quran the Bible has been
23. 1:07corrupted is that the impression you get
24. 1:10when you read the
25. 1:11Quran uh I thought so at the beginning I
26. 1:14thought like I will find clear verses in
27. 1:17the Quran when I was doing my
28. 1:19correspondence courses with uh the
29. 1:21station I thought it would be easy to
30. 1:23find those verses each verse I took it
31. 1:27didn't have that meaning it had
32. 1:29something else for example the second
33. 1:32Surah which is the most of
34. 1:35the the second is the the longest Bak
35. 1:39very powerful Surah in the Quran it says
36. 1:43um so wo to those who write the
37. 1:46scripture with their own hands then say
38. 1:50this is from Allah in order to exchange
39. 1:52it for a small price that's the main one
40. 1:55Muslims go to to show you see the Quran
41. 1:58is saying that the Bible has been
42. 1:59corrupted so you want to know what's the
43. 2:02background of the who are these guys why

55. 2:31to them so it's not the actual Torah or
56. 2:35the actual thing does this sound like
57. 2:38the Bible

59. 2:42wouldn't even make any sense like if you
60. 2:44say like like they apply that to the
61. 2:46Bible and they say ah this is talking
62. 2:48about people uh changing the Bible that
63. 2:51wouldn't make any sense if someone in
64. 2:54Mecca or medina were to change the Torah
65. 2:58or something like that that doesn't
66. 2:59change the Torah anywhere else in the
67. 3:01world it's like if if I ask if I ask
68. 3:02Muslims like if you sit here and write
69. 3:04down something and say this is the Quran
70. 3:06does that change the Quran no muslim
71. 3:08would say you writing something and
72. 3:09saying it's the Quran has somehow
73. 3:11changed the Quran around the world you
74. 3:12know how it sounds Imagine David you
75. 3:15went to Morocco today he went to a
76. 3:16Bazaar for example and somebody a morocc
77. 3:19and tried as a tourist he thinks you
78. 3:21have good dollars and he say you know
79. 3:23what I have the Quran written for the
80. 3:287th Century for example and he just
81. 3:30scammed you he just sold you certain
82. 3:33paper that has nothing to do with the
83. 3:35Quran because you don't know Arabic you
84. 3:36just bought them and he said you know I
85. 3:39got really a treasure here and I read it
86. 3:41and I say David you just got scammed
87. 3:44you'll be like Muslims change their
88. 3:46Quran that's the the same argument here
89. 3:49yeah and what's what's interesting is if
90. 3:51you just read even if you ignored the
91. 3:53entire rest of the Quran if you just
92. 3:55read what Allah says in Surah 2 yeah he
93. 3:58keeps using it as an argument with the
94. 4:00Jews that Muhammad is affirming what
95. 4:03they have he's affirming their
96. 4:05scriptures and therefore they should
97. 4:06affirm Muhammad's scriptures in return
98. 4:09that makes no sense if you're
99. 4:10interpreting Surah 2: 79 to say the b
100. 4:12the Bible's been corrupted they he's
101. 4:14saying I'm affirming what you have I'm
102. 4:17affirming what you what you Jews have
103. 4:19therefore you should affirm what
104. 4:20Muhammad what Muhammad has that makes no
105. 4:22sense if he's saying I'm affirming your
106. 4:24scriptures are corrupted there there is
107. 4:26another one that Muslims use among the
108. 4:28Jews are those who d restored words from
109. 4:31their proper places and say we hear you
110. 4:34and disobey and hear but not heard
111. 4:37actually it's like very complicated to
112. 4:39to to explain but they
113. 4:42change the words from their places they
114. 4:46play with
115. 4:47words that's what the commentaries are
116. 4:50saying about this verse and you find it
117. 4:52repeated through several verses that
118. 4:55they play with words either they recite
119. 4:57them differently or they change their
120. 4:59meaning does that has to
121. 5:03do W with the Bible in Rome the Bible in
122. 5:06Alexandria back in the days the church
123. 5:08in Alexandria was so powerful the church
124. 5:10in North Africa was so powerful they had
125. 5:13scriptures everywhere what this has to
126. 5:15do with changing the Bible yeah so in in
127. 5:19Surah 2 um the condemnation there is the
128. 5:23that's the only place that even sounds
129. 5:25like it's talking about a text right
130. 5:27you're writing something it sounds like
131. 5:28it's talking about a text
132. 5:30once thegr there's it's talking the
133. 5:33corruption ofure all of
134. 5:36theages are actually talking about
135. 5:39people
136. 5:40misrepresenting what the scripture says
137. 5:42and they're twisting it with their
138. 5:43tongues that's Sora 3 they twist it with
139. 5:45their tongues true but notice if you're
140. 5:46going to say that means the text has
141. 5:48been corrupted are there Muslims who
142. 5:50twist the Quran with their tongues are
143. 5:51there Muslims who misrepresent what the
144. 5:53Quran says many of course there are does
145. 5:56that mean the text has been corrupted no
146. 5:57muslim would say that and yet they're
147. 5:59saying that that that's what the Quran
148. 6:00teach there are sh on TVs who are
149. 6:03reading certain verses to to confirm
150. 6:06certain thing or deny certain things
151. 6:09even for presidents or kings are we
152. 6:12going to accuse based on them accuse
153. 6:14that Muslims changed their Quran just
154. 6:16based on that nobody will accept it's

156. 6:22mentioned this the Quran in several
157. 6:24places mention the people of the book

161. 6:38title of Honor it's a title of Honor
162. 6:40it's not insulting you if if it was
163. 6:42saying hey you people of your your
164. 6:43corrupt garbage book that's can't be
165. 6:45trusted yeah that would be one thing but
166. 6:47it's not it's hey you're the people of
167. 6:49the book yeah and also like when when
168. 6:53certain verses like 2 241 and believing
169. 6:56what I have sent down confirming that
170. 7:00which is already with you that which is
171. 7:02and he's talking to he's talking to the
172. 7:03Jews here confirming that which is with
173. 7:05you with you right now yeah not
174. 7:07something not something that you lost
175. 7:09centuries earlier or something if if it
176. 7:11was changed there's nothing with them
177. 7:14and how can you confirm certain things

179. 7:19changed I think the Quran um confirms
180. 7:24that the Bible has not been changed and
181. 7:26any Muslim who accuses the Bible being
182. 7:29corrupt is just accusing his own Quran
183. 7:31without knowing yet the actual
184. 7:34perspective that you get when you read
185. 7:36the Quran and you're not forcing a view
186. 7:39into the Quran in other words Muslims
187. 7:40already believe the bi that the Bible's
188. 7:42been corrupted because it doesn't line
189. 7:43up with the Quran so then they go and
190. 7:45they try to see this in the Quran so
191. 7:47they're they're they're already they're
192. 7:48already biased if you just let the Quran
193. 7:50speak from for itself what you get is
194. 7:53that Allah says he revealed the Torah
195. 7:56and the gospel that's Surah 3: 3 to 4 he
196. 7:59says that he preserved the Torah and the
197. 8:01gospel in fact according to the Quran no
198. 8:02one can change Allah's words s 1827 no
199. 8:04one can change and that's in the context
200. 8:05talking about Allah's revealed scripture
201. 8:07uh so no one can change his words uh
202. 8:09Surah 7 verse 157 says that Christians
203. 8:12and Jews still had the Torah and the
204. 8:14gospel during Muhammad's time do will
205. 8:15say his words yes but it means the Quran
206. 8:18they can play with that notice it that's
207. 8:20not what it says it says no one can
208. 8:22change his words and they say ah that
209. 8:23only means that only means his words in
210. 8:25the crown it's like wait a minute so
211. 8:25you're saying his other words can be
212. 8:27changed so his words can be changed he's
213. 8:29saying no one can change his words and
214. 8:30you're saying yes his words can be
215. 8:32changed they're contradicting Allah it's
216. 8:34as if God has different levels of his
217. 8:36word yeah like this kind this you can
218. 8:39change but I'm going to send another one
219. 8:42that you cannot change it it just you
220. 8:45corrupted every other one I ever sent
221. 8:46but now I I got this special ability
222. 8:49where you can't corrupt it anymore you
223. 8:50know why Muslims they came up with this

226. 9:00that's true but also because Muhammad
227. 9:03claimed his name is in the Bible and you
228. 9:06can't find it so and you can't find it
229. 9:08so you are faced with this reality there
230. 9:11is nowhere where Muhammad is mentioned

234. 9:20lied or the Bible changed I think
235. 9:23Muslims couldn't say that Muhammad lied
236. 9:26so he just accepted the other yeah

238. 9:29understanding they really seem to think
239. 9:31oh if you go to the Bible it lines up
240. 9:32with the Quran and then over time they
241. 9:34find out no it doesn't line up with the
242. 9:35Quran but by that time yet you can't say
243. 9:37oh Muhammad was wrong you get your head
244. 9:39chopped off exactly so you have you have
245. 9:41to say oh that then the Bible the Bible
246. 9:43must have been changed so my challenge
247. 9:45to every Muslim if you say the Bible is
248. 9:48corrupt show me where in the Quran it
249. 9:52says clearly that Christians or Jews
250. 9:55changed their books and when I mean
251. 9:58Christian Christians and Jews everywhere
252. 10:01that bunch of guys who are selling
253. 10:03certain stuff in a Bazaar in Mecca to
254. 10:06certain people I don't care about those
255. 10:09they were not the main Hub of
256. 10:11Christianity or the main Hub of of
257. 10:14Judaism scriptures were spread
258. 10:17everywhere yeah and so what you get when
259. 10:19you actually read the Quran Allah says
260. 10:21he revealed the Torah and the gospel he
261. 10:23says he's preserved the Torah and the
262. 10:24gospel and then he affirms the authority
263. 10:28of the Torah and the gospel
264. 10:30for Jews and Christians in sorah 5 when
265. 10:32he tells Jews and Christians what to
266. 10:33judge by he doesn't tell them judge by
267. 10:36the Quran he tells Jews even when the
268. 10:38Jews came to muhammmad said hey settle
269. 10:40this dispute Allah's response is why are
270. 10:41they why are they coming to you Muhammad
271. 10:42when they have the Torah that's that's
272. 10:44Surah 5:43 and a few verses later
273. 10:46talking to Christians says Christians
274. 10:48judge by the gospel the Quran even talks
275. 10:50to Muhammad if you are in
276. 10:53doubt ask the people of the book people
277. 10:56who were reading the book before you
278. 10:59well I mean it's he tells him go and ask
279. 11:03Christians and Jews how are you going to
280. 11:05ask some people if they have a book who
281. 11:09corrup if it was corrupt then your
282. 11:10Revelation would only line up if if you
283. 11:11were corrupt too you don't want to say
284. 11:13that so it makes no sense it makes no
285. 11:14sense position makes no sense so here's
286. 11:16the problem ladies and gentlemen you've
287. 11:17got you've got the Quran and the Quran
288. 11:20affirms the inspiration and the
289. 11:22preservation and the authority of the
290. 11:26Bible but the Bible cont icts the Quran
291. 11:30on basic fundamental doctrines and
292. 11:32therefore Muslims have a they think
293. 11:34we've got the problem here no they have
294. 11:36a problem here because there are two
295. 11:37possibilities either we have the
296. 11:39inspired preserved authoritative word of
297. 11:40God or we don't if we have the inspired
298. 11:43preserved authoritative word of God the
299. 11:45Quran is wrong because the Quran
300. 11:47contradicts this book the other
301. 11:49possibility is we don't have the
302. 11:51inspired preserved authoritative word of
303. 11:52God if we don't have the inspired
304. 11:53preserved authoritative word of God the
305. 11:55Quran is wrong because the Quran affirms
306. 11:58the inspiration preserv authority of
307. 12:00this book and therefore if we have the
308. 12:03word of God the Quran is wrong if we
309. 12:05don't have the word of God the Quran is
310. 12:06wrong either way the Quran is wrong and
311. 12:10that's why Muslim preachers do not want
312. 12:12you to know what the Quran says about
313. 12:15the Bible but you should learn it anyway
