  1. 0:00You can beat most people at anything if
  2. 0:02you just stick with it for a year. You
  3. 0:04can become competent at just about any
  4. 0:06skill in 20 hours. It's just that people
  5. 0:09wait 10 years to get the first 20 hours
  6. 0:11logged. Right, like if you want to learn
  7. 0:13how to play the first few notes of a
  8. 0:14guitar, you can learn it about 20 hours.
  9. 0:16Now, are you going to be Jimi Hendrix?
  10. 0:18Which Gen Z, who's a guitarist, Purple
  11. 0:20Haze, you can look it up. Anyways, the
  12. 0:22point is is that people have this huge
  13. 0:24delay before they begin.
  14. 0:26And what makes things hard isn't
  15. 0:28complexity. It's consistency. And so as
  16. 0:32boring as it is, you just have to keep
  17. 0:34doing it before you get anything back.
  18. 0:36So one of my favorite quotes from myself
  19. 0:39is the world belongs to those who can
  20. 0:40keep doing without seeing the result of
  21. 0:42their doing. You have to delay
  22. 0:44how quick you get a reward, how fast you
  23. 0:48need a cookie in order to keep going.
  24. 0:49I've been told that I'm decent at
  25. 0:51presenting and talking on stage in front
  26. 0:53of people.
  27. 0:55And what a lot of people don't see
  28. 0:58is that for years, I spoke with the
  29. 1:01microphone in front of a group of
  30. 1:02people,
  31. 1:03and I did it like multiple times a day,
  32. 1:06and I did that in the form of a fitness
  33. 1:07session.
  34. 1:09And so I had to literally stand on a box
  35. 1:11and shout around and tell people what
  36. 1:13they had to do, and I had to do that for
  37. 1:15years.
  38. 1:16And I remember when I had to get on
  39. 1:19stage for the first time, and I had in
  40. 1:22high school been very nervous to public
  41. 1:24speak.
  42. 1:25And as I was about to get up on stage, I
  43. 1:27was like, why am I not nervous about
  44. 1:29this? Like this is weird. Like I should
  45. 1:30I was like, I should be nervous. Like
  46. 1:31why am I not nervous? And I was like,
  47. 1:33oh, I've I've done this so many times.
  48. 1:36Like so many times. And I'm not talking
  49. 1:39about, you know, Civil War history and
  50. 1:42Abraham Lincoln. I'm talking about stuff
  51. 1:44I know. Outwork yourself out through
  52. 1:48repetition, not affirmations.
  53. 1:51You don't do it through belief. You do
  54. 1:53it through stimuli habituation, which is
  55. 1:57just fancy words for saying you expose
  56. 1:59yourself to the bad thing so many times
  57. 2:01they get used to it and it's no longer a
  58. 2:02bad thing anymore. It's just life. If
  59. 2:04you want to get over a fear, the way
  60. 2:06they do it is habituation. So, if I
  61. 2:07wanted to get over, you know, being
  62. 2:09afraid of spiders. I'm not afraid of
  63. 2:10spiders, but some people are afraid of
  64. 2:11spiders. Right? If you want to get over
  65. 2:12that fear, you literally lock yourself
  66. 2:14in a room with a bunch of spiders, and
  67. 2:17all you do is you just have panic attack
  68. 2:18after panic attack, and you pass out,
  69. 2:20and you wake up again. The spiders are
  70. 2:21there, you pass out. You keep doing it.
  71. 2:22Eventually, eventually your nervous
  72. 2:24system adjusts, and 5 hours later, 8
  73. 2:27hours later, you walk out of the room
  74. 2:30unafraid
  75. 2:31because you have habituated. And so, the
  76. 2:33point of practice for all of these
  77. 2:35things is to habituate as fast as you
  78. 2:37can. And so, we're trying to microwave
  79. 2:39that period of time. And the thing is,
  80. 2:40let's say it takes Let's say it takes
  81. 2:42this many reps. You can have this many
  82. 2:43reps take you a year, or you can have it
  83. 2:45take you a month, depending on how
  84. 2:47dedicated you are to it. Real quick, I'm
  85. 2:48going to show you the exact 10-stage
  86. 2:50roadmap from zero to 100 million plus
  87. 2:53that less than 1% of companies finish,
  88. 2:55I've now done multiple times, and so I
  89. 2:57can say with a lot of confidence that
  90. 2:58these are the stages as headcount
  91. 3:00increases that you need to get through,
  92. 3:02and I broke each of these down by eight
  93. 3:04different functions of the business,
  94. 3:05what the constraint feels like, like
  95. 3:07what are the symptoms of it when you're
  96. 3:08going through it, and then what steps we
  97. 3:10actually took to graduate. And we've
  98. 3:11done this across software, physical
  99. 3:13products, uh service businesses, brick
  100. 3:15and mortar, all of this, and it works.
  101. 3:18And it's my gift to you. It's absolutely
  102. 3:19free. And so, the link's in the
  103. 3:21description, but you just go
  104. 3:22acquisition.com/roadmap.
  105. 3:24Just enter your info, and it'll spit it
  106. 3:25right back to you. Offer.
