- 0:06Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be
- 0:08upon you. Our dear second-year
- 0:09secondary students, welcome. A fresh
- 0:12start. A successful academic return to
- 0:14all our students, God willing. In this
- 0:17video, I will talk to you about the
- 0:18academic curriculum. What awaits you in
- 0:20the physics subject. And I will tell
- 0:22you about the surprise of the season,
- 0:24our book "Wissam Al-Tafawuq"(Medal of
- 0:25Excellence) for the second year of
- 0:26secondary school. Follow us. So, dear
- 0:28students, welcome. Now, I will talk to
- 0:31you about our academic curriculum in
- 0:32the subject of physics. What units are
- 0:35in it, what you will study, if you need
- 0:37prior knowledge, and how you will start
- 0:39it. You will naturally start this
- 0:42academic curriculum with mechanics.
- 0:44Which you studied in the first year of
- 0:45secondary school. And you will
- 0:46certainly continue with it in the
- 0:47second year of secondary school. But do
- 0:49you need a lot of prior knowledge? No.
- 0:51You can start with me from scratch,
- 0:53regardless of your level. And you will
- 0:55find learning second-year secondary
- 0:56mechanics very enjoyable. You will
- 0:58enjoy it; it has unique ideas. And God
- 1:01willing, just by solving a set of
- 1:02exercises at the beginning, you will
- 1:04master it. But your main requirement
- 1:07and the most important unit to master
- 1:09in this mechanics is the focus of the
- 1:11first-semester exam. Meaning, most of
- 1:13the first-semester points—about 14
- 1:15points—will come from mechanics. This
- 1:17, folks, is how you master it; the
- 1:19secret is here in this first unit. It
- 1:21is called a qualitative approach to
- 1:22system energy and its conservation. We
- 1:24will study the principle of energy
- 1:26conservation and the energy balance
- 1:28from the third year of middle school.
- 1:29You had studied them in middle school.
- 1:31And I know most of you did not focus on
- 1:33them, but we will study them this year
- 1:34in greater depth. But folks, to
- 1:36understand all of this and not make
- 1:38mistakes, you must be here. Why?
- 1:40Because any exercise you study later,
- 1:42you will have to create something
- 1:43called an energy balance or an energy
- 1:45conservation equation. So, if you do
- 1:47not understand this well, you will not
- 1:49be proficient in the remaining upcoming
- 1:50units. Naturally, in our academic
- 1:54season, folks, we have 15 units. A very
- 1:57large number, but folks, they are short
- 1:59units. And at the same time, I have
- 2:02combined every two or three units into
- 2:04one topic. In the first semester, you
- 2:07will study these four units. They are
- 2:09originally five, but I will explain the
- 2:11difference to you. We start with
- 2:14mechanics as I told you, the energy
- 2:15balance and the energy conservation
- 2:17principle. When we finish mechanics, we
- 2:19move on to work and kinetic energy. You
- 2:21will understand what work means, what
- 2:23kinetic energy means, and how. Its
- 2:25formula is calculated; you will see it
- 2:27for the first case of translational
- 2:29motion. When you are a
- 2:31technical-mathematics or mathematics
- 2:32stream student, you add another unit
- 2:34after it called rotational motion. And
- 2:37this, by God's leave, is up to me,
- 2:38Professor Abdellatif; I will explain it
- 2:40to you in a unique way, God willing. So
- 2:42, technical-mathematics and mathematics
- 2:43streams, the content is on me, God
- 2:45willing. So here, there are two units
- 2:47for the technical-mathematics and
- 2:48mathematics streams. As for the
- 2:50experimental sciences stream, they
- 2:52study translational only. Once we
- 2:54finish this, we move to potential
- 2:55energy. And there are two types of
- 2:58potential energy. There is elastic and
- 3:00gravitational, which is a body at a
- 3:02height from the Earth's surface. But
- 3:05honestly, folks, it is one of the most
- 3:06enjoyable units. But I repeat, if you
- 3:09don't understand this well, you are
- 3:10making a mistake. Therefore, from the
- 3:12beginning of the year, buckle down and
- 3:14understand the first unit, and practice
- 3:16it a lot so the others seem easy to you
- 3:18. Naturally, like any study unit or any
- 3:20exam, it must contain a bit of physics
- 3:23and a bit of chemistry. We are going to
- 3:26study a new concept for you called
- 3:27conductivity. Determining the amount of
- 3:29substance through conductivity. And
- 3:31with this, we conclude the first term.
- 3:34In the first term, we will study these
- 3:36units together, God willing. Of course,
- 3:39I have designed for you a new book
- 3:41called the "Wessam of Excellence" book.
- 3:43It contains the most wonderful
- 3:45exercises, specifically designed for
- 3:47exams. And Professor Abdelatif will
- 3:50provide support and assistance during
- 3:51this first term with you. Stay with me
- 3:53until the end of the video. I will tell
- 3:56you now. You have the second term. The
- 3:58second term is somewhat intensive. But
- 4:00I have already prepared the second and
- 4:02third terms for you. Right. In the
- 4:04second term, we will study three units.
- 4:07We will study a unit called internal
- 4:09energy. A wonderful and enjoyable unit.
- 4:12It has some mathematical calculations.
- 4:13But it is very good. It appears in
- 4:16quizzes and exams. Determining the
- 4:19amount of substance through titration.
- 4:20Earlier, conductivity. Now, titration.
- 4:22This is also a new method for you.
- 4:24Chemistry. Then we conclude the second
- 4:27term with the magnetic field. Some
- 4:29might not reach it. They leave it for
- 4:30the third term. But most of us will at
- 4:32least study these in the second term.
- 4:34Clear. The third term, we will enter
- 4:38into units. It seems there are many.
- 4:40But you know the third term is short.
- 4:42Sometimes one month maximum. That is
- 4:45why you find the teacher choosing.
- 4:47There is the teacher who will follow
- 4:49the program normally. Which is
- 4:50completing the magnetic field for you.
- 4:52And after that, entering magnetic
- 4:53interactions. And after that, an
- 4:55introduction to organic chemistry. Then
- 4:57lenses. And he says. To you, wherever
- 4:59we reached, we reached; and there are
- 5:01other teachers who do this: they reach
- 5:03titration, and the magnetic field they
- 5:04don't teach, considering there is only
- 5:06a month left until the end of the
- 5:08season, so they go directly to an
- 5:09introduction to organic chemistry. Why,
- 5:12professor? Because this unit is
- 5:13important in the Baccalaureate, and
- 5:15this opens the door for me to tell you.
- 5:17What are the units that you must focus
- 5:20on completely in the second year? There
- 5:22won't be a problem happening to you. As
- 5:25you study the Bac, you go back to study
- 5:26the second year. It is better to study
- 5:28it now than to study it next year twice
- 5:30; therefore, there are units that you
- 5:32must give very, very, very great
- 5:33importance. The units that you give
- 5:36very great importance to, for us. First
- 5:38thing, potential energy. And these have
- 5:40importance, but. It’s okay, but you
- 5:42must study them to get the full mark in
- 5:44the first term. But the ones that have
- 5:47great importance are this conductivity
- 5:50and this colorimetric titration. These,
- 5:53you must study them fully. I put them
- 5:56in red as proof that they are necessary
- 5:58. And when you reach them, focus. It is
- 5:59good that I put them now in a different
- 6:01color; they have importance in the
- 6:03Baccalaureate but to a lesser degree.
- 6:04Which are potential energy,
- 6:06translational kinetic energy, and also
- 6:09an introduction to organic chemistry.
- 6:13As for internal energy, it is not in
- 6:15the Bac, but you must study it in the
- 6:17second term to get the full mark. As
- 6:19for me, what is the difference between
- 6:20experimental sciences, technical
- 6:22mathematics, and the mathematics stream
- 6:23in the program? We said that in the
- 6:25first semester, for the
- 6:26technical-mathematical and mathematics
- 6:28streams, they will study an additional
- 6:30unit on rotational motion. They also
- 6:34have an extra unit here on magnetic
- 6:35interactions, provided, of course, that
- 6:37they reach it and study it. That is
- 6:41clear, and this is the curriculum for
- 6:43physical sciences. Do you need any
- 6:45prior knowledge to start it? No, leave
- 6:47everything to me. I mean, we are
- 6:49starting from scratch. However, you
- 6:50must be focused and practice a lot with
- 6:52me, God willing. This is your
- 6:54curriculum. But let me repeat as a
- 6:56piece of advice: start off strong.
- 6:59Because if physics remains a mental
- 7:00block in your second year, it will
- 7:01become a block in your third year.
- 7:03Let’s get rid of this block from the
- 7:04beginning. Now, my dear student, come
- 7:06with me so I can tell you about our
- 7:07book, "Wissam Al-Tafawuq"(The Medal of
- 7:09Excellence) for the second year of
- 7:10secondary school. This book, God
- 7:12willing, will be your companion this
- 7:14year. First, all the lessons and all
- 7:16the exercises I use will be taken from
- 7:18this book. It is the culmination of
- 7:20years of work and high-level effort. I
- 7:23repeat: the exercises in this book are
- 7:25designed like test and exam questions.
- 7:28Meaning, your teacher in class could
- 7:30pick an exercise from here, or one just
- 7:32like it, because they are formatted as
- 7:35exam questions. Secondly, what I want
- 7:37to tell you is that the second-year
- 7:39curriculum does not have very complex
- 7:41ideas. So, 10 or 20 exercises per unit
- 7:45cover all the ideas. When you solve
- 7:47them, even if the teacher brings a new
- 7:49idea, it won’t go outside our scope.
- 7:52You can also see that we designed it to
- 7:54be small and attractive. For one reason
- 7:56only. So that you can carry it with you
- 7:58and study from it anywhere. Another
- 8:00thing. Our curriculum consists of 15
- 8:02units. Consequently, you would expect
- 8:05the book to be quite large. That’s
- 8:07why we divided it into two parts. This
- 8:09is the first part, which you study in
- 8:11the first semester. And there is the
- 8:13second part, which you use for the
- 8:15second and third semesters. For now,
- 8:17let's start with the first part,
- 8:18benefit from it, and study it properly.
- 8:20This part contains the first semester
- 8:23units. Starting from the unit on the
- 8:25qualitative approach to energy and its
- 8:27conservation, up to conductivity. And
- 8:30it concludes with three sample tests
- 8:32and three sample exams. Let’s look at
- 8:35what is in each unit. It contains the
- 8:37essentials of the unit. The first thing
- 8:39you will find when you open the book is
- 8:41the core material, which is the lesson.
- 8:43That is why I will present it on the
- 8:45board on YouTube and explain it to you
- 8:47in detail. Then, after you finish,
- 8:50every lesson is accompanied by
- 8:51applications and examples. There are
- 8:53examples and applications, as you can
- 8:55see. Then, after each unit, we have
- 8:58exercises. The number of exercises
- 9:01ranges from 10 to 22 exercises. For
- 9:05instance, the first unit does not
- 9:06require many exercises, so there are 10
- 9:09; the next one, kinetic energy,
- 9:10requires 20 exercises. The unit after
- 9:14that, for us, potential energy, has 16
- 9:16exercises. And so on; these exercises
- 9:20contain all the ideas. Once you do them
- 9:23, you won't need a textbook or any
- 9:25other external reference. They serve as
- 9:28preparation for tests and, of course,
- 9:30for exams. And I will solve a large
- 9:32portion of them on our YouTube channel.
- 9:34I mean, I will explain it to you; I
- 9:36won't leave you on your own. When you
- 9:38get this book and miss some information
- 9:40you don't understand, you will find
- 9:41Professor Abdellatif explaining it to
- 9:42you on YouTube. However, it is very
- 9:44useful for you to get this book and
- 9:46have it with you to start preparing
- 9:47from it. Because in all cases, you will
- 9:49need an additional reference. Here is
- 9:50your additional reference. Especially
- 9:52when you find your teacher using it and
- 9:54explaining it again for you on YouTube.
- 9:57And as I told you, of course, it will
- 9:59be accompanied at the end by sample
- 10:01quizzes and exams. Naturally, this is
- 10:04the best source I recommend for you
- 10:06currently for the second-year secondary
- 10:09level. So, how do I get this source,
- 10:12Professor? First thing, this book is
- 10:15available online via the Alpha
- 10:17Educational platform. I recommend it
- 10:19because you are in the second year, God
- 10:21willing, or in the third year you will
- 10:22be studying with me for the
- 10:23Baccalaureate, God willing. God willing
- 10:25, I would like you to get used to our
- 10:27platform this year and order it. In
- 10:29addition to that, when you buy this
- 10:31book, you will find a code in it. This
- 10:35code here, you will find I have put a
- 10:37ticket for you; put the 11-digit code
- 10:40here and keep it safe. Why? Because
- 10:43when we reach the quizzes and exams, I
- 10:45will hold special quizzes or live
- 10:47sessions with Professor Abdellatif. I
- 10:51mean, this year I won't be doing Zoom
- 10:53or online lessons on the platform, no.
- 10:55Everything will be presented on YouTube
- 10:57, God willing. But when we reach the
- 10:59review for the exam and quiz, students
- 11:02who have this book and enter the code
- 11:04on the platform will find extra things
- 11:06beyond YouTube. Is that clear, then?
- 11:09You will get a book and get live
- 11:11sessions with Professor Abdellatif at
- 11:13the right time, of course. How do I get
- 11:15it? First thing, go to Google, type "
- 11:17Alpha Educational Platform," and enter.
- 11:20This interface will appear to you.
- 11:21First thing, if you haven't created an
- 11:23account, create an account. Type "new
- 11:26account" or "sign up for a new account.
- 11:28" An information card will appear;
- 11:30write to us—excuse me. Write to us
- 11:33your first and last name, phone number,
- 11:35and parent's phone number. You can put
- 11:37another phone number, it doesn't matter
- 11:38. Why? So that when we send you this
- 11:40book, if we don't reach you on the
- 11:41first number, we reach you on the
- 11:43second. Choose your state (Wilaya).
- 11:45Choose the address accurately, because
- 11:46the book will arrive at the address you
- 11:48put in correctly. Choose your study
- 11:51level, second year secondary. And
- 11:54choose your field of study, for example
- 11:55, let it be Experimental Sciences.
- 11:57Create a password for us. Request
- 11:59account creation. After you request
- 12:01account creation, it will pop up and
- 12:03tell you to confirm your phone number.
- 12:05Right, say yes to it. Confirm the phone
- 12:07number, and a code will reach you. Just
- 12:10like opening a new account on Facebook,
- 12:12Instagram, or any site; it gives you a
- 12:14six-digit code. To confirm your number,
- 12:17the message will reach your phone. You
- 12:20confirm your account, and then you
- 12:22enter our platform. Now, after you
- 12:24enter our platform, the interface will
- 12:26appear to you like this. Okay, right;
- 12:28if you are using a computer, this tab
- 12:30will appear to you like this. If you
- 12:33are using a phone, you will find it
- 12:35closed like this. Click on the arrow at
- 12:37the top or the three dots that appear
- 12:39vertically, and a menu will appear
- 12:40where you can find the book to order it
- 12:42. All you have to do is go to Books and
- 12:45Products. Then you will find here, for
- 12:48example, the first-year, first-unit
- 12:50material, and the third-year material
- 12:51which is for the Baccalaureate. And
- 12:53this is for the second year, here is
- 12:55the same image for the second year. The
- 12:58price of the book with home delivery is
- 13:011250 dinars, meaning 125,000; for
- 13:03125,000, this book reaches your home,
- 13:06and you don't pay any extra fees. How
- 13:09do we order it, teacher? Click here or
- 13:12on product details. When you click on
- 13:15it, it tells you the product has been
- 13:17successfully added to the cart. Click
- 13:19OK. Then after that, go here, you will
- 13:22find an increase by number one here,
- 13:24meaning the product is there. Click on
- 13:26it, here it is at 1250 dinars. Here is
- 13:29the product, scroll down and confirm
- 13:32the order. It will show you that the
- 13:35price is 125,000 like this. Your
- 13:37information is here, confirm your
- 13:39details. Then after that, click order
- 13:42and confirm shipping. Here it tells you
- 13:46to be careful and check the products
- 13:47well, as you cannot modify the order
- 13:49after confirming it. Once you confirm,
- 13:52you have ordered the book, okay,
- 13:54correct, confirm order. That's it,
- 13:56return to the home page, and it's done.
- 13:59Wait from 48 hours or, sorry, from 24
- 14:01to 48 hours. For remote areas like the
- 14:04deep south, it might take three to four
- 14:06days. Of course, the distributor will
- 14:08call you. They will call you on the
- 14:10number you provided on the platform.
- 14:11And they will bring you the book. Ready
- 14:13to your doorstep. Did you understand?
- 14:15The step is very simple. After that,
- 14:18when the book arrives, you start
- 14:19studying with it. A very important note
- 14:22is that distribution begins starting
- 14:23from the second week of the school year
- 14:25. Meaning the first week of the school.
- 14:27Year is still ongoing. The second week
- 14:29we start distributing our book. My
- 14:31brother, I told you there is a code.
- 14:32You will find a code here. This code
- 14:35consists of 11 digits. What do you do?
- 14:38You re-enter the platform as usual, and
- 14:40click on recharge code. The
- 14:41subscription is at the bottom. It tells
- 14:43you to enter the 11-digit code. Type it
- 14:46and click. It confirms the payment.
- 14:48That's it, from now on, when I announce
- 14:51that we have live sessions during
- 14:53quizzes and exams, all you have to do
- 14:56is just show up. Enter the current
- 14:59courses. And you will find the
- 15:01appropriate course for your academic
- 15:04level, of course. That's it, so this
- 15:06year, God willing, we will accompany
- 15:08you on YouTube with lessons,
- 15:10explanations, experiments, and new
- 15:12ideas, God willing, but for whoever
- 15:13wants to obtain the book, this is what
- 15:15I recommend. You will need it,
- 15:17especially on the night of the exam or
- 15:19quiz. When you look for exercises and
- 15:21start looking for sources. I highly
- 15:22recommend it; it is light. And it will
- 15:25also cover the first-semester
- 15:26curriculum. God willing, in the second
- 15:29semester, we will also send you the
- 15:30second part. Seize the opportunity; the
- 15:32price is very low just so our students
- 15:34can benefit from it. I will leave you
- 15:36in safety and peace. We will meet, God
- 15:38willing, with the first lessons of the
- 15:40school season. Peace.
