- 0:00Everyone sleeps on X, but X is actually
- 0:03a traffic machine if you know how to use
- 0:06it. My name is Liam Turble, CEO here at
- 0:08TDM, and in the last 5 years, we've
- 0:09grown over a 100 creators to the top
- 0:110.1%. And today, we're going to have a
- 0:13quick look at X and how you can use it
- 0:15to acquire traffic. Don't forget, there
- 0:17is a link in the description to our
- 0:18totally free of charge Telegram
- 0:20community where we talk about traffic
- 0:22and growing Only Fans pages all day,
- 0:24every day. There are nearly 6,000 people
- 0:26in the community now and every day we
- 0:29have different bits of conversation
- 0:31about different parts of OFM and on a
- 0:33Sunday we even do a live seminar free of
- 0:36charge with no upsells to help you grow
- 0:38your agency. X has always been a staple
- 0:41for most creators, but specifically for
- 0:44those that have something more unique
- 0:46about them, those with a fetish, those
- 0:47with a clear brand. There are
- 0:49essentially four different ways that we
- 0:50can drive traffic, and we'll have a
- 0:52quick look at those today. Option one is
- 0:53organic posting. Now remember X loves
- 0:57sharability and controversy. So the most
- 0:59important thing is to make sure that
- 1:01everything you post is sharable. Can you
- 1:04see somebody sharing that content? If
- 1:06the answer is no, then it's probably not
- 1:08worth posting on X. We think two to
- 1:10three posts in this style per day is the
- 1:12sweet spot per account. So try and stick
- 1:15to that and just put yourself in the
- 1:17shoes of a user. Would you share this
- 1:19content? Yes or no? If the answer's yes,
- 1:22you're probably going to see a solid
- 1:23return. So, just think about sharability
- 1:25and controversy at all times when
- 1:27organic posting on X. The next option is
- 1:30to focus on manual retweets where
- 1:33essentially you are just finding other
- 1:35creators that are within the same sort
- 1:37of niche as you or if you're an agency
- 1:39as your creator or creators. Best way to
- 1:42do it is to just build out a database of
- 1:44these creators and then methodically
- 1:46work through and just ask them if
- 1:49they're open for a retweet for retweet.
- 1:51If they are, then you can schedule them
- 1:52in and if they're not, then you can take
- 1:54them off the database. This is a
- 1:56relatively self-explanatory strategy and
- 1:58one that I think really makes sense for
- 2:00most people to do. The next option is to
- 2:02join retweet groups, which is
- 2:05essentially just a way to garner more
- 2:08followers. It's very much a vanity over
- 2:10sanity strategy. It's pretty effective
- 2:12for building your account and gaining
- 2:14followers, but it's less effective for
- 2:16actually converting the traffic. And the
- 2:18main reason for that is that it's not
- 2:20niched. Now, typically how it works when
- 2:22you join the group or are able to get
- 2:24into the group, there will be an SOP
- 2:26that varies based on the group. Uh, but
- 2:29essentially in most cases, you'll have
- 2:30to retweet others before you can then
- 2:33benefit from the retweets yourself. So,
- 2:35you might have to take the last three
- 2:37creators in the group that have sent a
- 2:38gift, for example, and click on their
- 2:41pages and then retweet their pinned post
- 2:43or their most recent posts or whatever
- 2:45the SOP for the group is. And then once
- 2:48you've done that, you'll likely get the
- 2:49chance to gif yourself and have
- 2:51everybody retweet you. It absolutely has
- 2:53a place. It's absolutely an effective
- 2:55strategy. It's just not the highest
- 2:57converting. So just bear in mind that
- 2:59this is more a strategy for building the
- 3:01page more vanity than it is sanity and
- 3:03there's often less traffic because the
- 3:05conversion sucks compared to others. Now
- 3:07finally we have paid promo which on X is
- 3:11actually something that's relatively
- 3:12cost effective and very very easy to do.
- 3:15There are loads of pages that will offer
- 3:17paid promo on X and typically for as low
- 3:20as $50 and as much as a few hundred
- 3:23bucks a,000 tops. So, for a relatively
- 3:26reasonable price bracket, we can get
- 3:28access to potentially a much bigger
- 3:30audience. The main consensus with paid
- 3:33promo is that your content has a bigger
- 3:35reach and that's what you're paying for.
- 3:37But what you've got to remember here is
- 3:39it doesn't matter how much reach the
- 3:40page has access to. If the content is
- 3:43not sharable, it will not perform. So,
- 3:45above all else, like anything, is the
- 3:48content. So, if you're going to try and
- 3:50take advantage of paid promo and you
- 3:52want to get the return on investment,
- 3:54then think about the content first. But
- 3:56remember, the vendor does not care about
- 3:59your return on investment. So, really
- 4:01think that through before you start
- 4:03sending them your content to share
- 4:05because they will take your money. Their
- 4:07service is to post your stuff. So, if
- 4:09you send the stuff and you pay for it,
- 4:11they'll post it. But, they don't care
- 4:13about your return. So, if you want to
- 4:14get the most out of paid promo, it's
- 4:16down to you to think about how sharable
- 4:18that content is and really how well it
- 4:19will do. Bonus tip, you can also do DMs
- 4:22if you want to. You could mass scale
- 4:24these with tools or with your own VAS if
- 4:27you'd like to manually. This is
- 4:29something that will work. You can both
- 4:31increase your reach and increase your
- 4:33conversion with this strategy, but it is
- 4:35a little bit risky because you are
- 4:37risking your account being banned,
- 4:39especially if you're going to use the
- 4:40tools or you're going to push out the
- 4:42scalability of how many DMs you want to
- 4:44send. So, just do this with caution and
- 4:46bear in mind that from us here at TDM,
- 4:49we choose not to do this because we
- 4:51don't think the reward is greater than
- 4:52the risk here on this particular case. X
- 4:54is an amazing platform and one that you
- 4:56absolutely want to include within your
- 4:58arsenal, especially if you've got niched
- 5:00and or fetish creators. It's really a
- 5:03non-negotiable in that environment.
- 5:05Twitter and Reddit are your absolute
- 5:07golden tickets if you are a fetish or a
- 5:09very niched creator. So, keep that in
- 5:11mind. But unfortunately, the reach just
- 5:13isn't the same as something like
- 5:14Instagram. And so, X should be used as
- 5:16one of the many platforms within your
- 5:19Only Fans marketing strategy. So, if
- 5:21you're interested in learning about more
- 5:22platforms, we actually have a link in
- 5:23the description to our free, totally
- 5:26free marketing guide on YouTube where we
- 5:28essentially cover every platform in as
- 5:31much detail as you need with no cost and
- 5:33no upsell. So, link in the description.
