- 0:00All right, everyone. Welcome back into
- 0:01another Fantasy Golf video. Going to be
- 0:02breaking down the Worldwide Technology
- 0:04Championship, giving you guys my
- 0:05favorite core plays and outright bets,
- 0:06as well as giving you guys my process
- 0:08for the week, highlighting which players
- 0:09are going to be in the best recent form,
- 0:11the best players in terms of course
- 0:12history, stat fit, giving you guys some
- 0:14of my favorite placement bets as well.
- 0:15At the end of the video, I'll be giving
- 0:16you guys my first look build and then
- 0:18comparing that against the 95 lineup
- 0:19builder. Let's go ahead and get into it.

- 0:30Well, we go ahead and break down this
- 0:31tournament, guys. Looking at it, this
- 0:33does end up being a week in which we
- 0:34should have good weather. It can be a
- 0:36factor, though. There are some pretty
- 0:38high gusts up to 36 mph. That is always
- 0:40going to be a factor on these seaside
- 0:42style courses. Now, when we take a peek
- 0:43at some of the winners over the past few
- 0:45years, it has been an easier scoring
- 0:47event, minus 29 there for Ben Griffin.
- 0:49So, we do know that we're going to need
- 0:50to target golfers that are going to go
- 0:52out and score. We also know that that's
- 0:54going to create a lot of variance. At
- 0:55the same time, we are going to notice
- 0:57that those players were making birdies.
- 0:59About 40% of their holes resulting in
- 1:00birdies are better and also avoiding
- 1:02bogeies. Obviously, about 90% of their
- 1:04holes avoiding bogeies, ball striking
- 1:06very good. And then with that, this
- 1:08course ends up being a course that has
- 1:09pretty wide fairways, wide greens. And
- 1:11so players are hitting the fairways
- 1:12pretty easily, guys. This actually ranks
- 1:14out as uh one of the easiest on on the
- 1:16tour. 90% of fairways hit, greens in
- 1:18regulation also one of the easier ones,
- 1:19guys. About 80% of the fairways hit.
- 1:21There's about five birdies per round
- 1:23here, so it is going to be a scoring
- 1:24fest. not too many bogeies. If your
- 1:26player does end up making some bogeies,
- 1:27that's not going to be great for you. In
- 1:29regards to some comp courses we can be
- 1:31looking at, it is kind of spread out in
- 1:33regards to what we can be looking at. I
- 1:35don't think there's like an exact one,
- 1:37but it is worth calling out. We have
- 1:38seen this tournament uh three times over
- 1:40the past three years. So, we are going
- 1:41to get enough course history to be going
- 1:43in on. And so, we can take a peek at the
- 1:45course history. And so, some of the
- 1:46players that have played this course
- 1:48over the last three years have been
- 1:50Garrick Higgo playing it well. Uh two
- 1:52top 10 finishes. You've got Patrick
- 1:53Rogers, a top 10 and then a top 25. Matt
- 1:56Coocher seems to play well at these kind
- 1:58of resort style laid-back vibes type of
- 2:00events. Uh 11th, 30th, 12th. Ben
- 2:02Griffin. The thing here, guys, is what
- 2:04I'm noticing when we're looking at the
- 2:05course history is one, we've had a lot
- 2:07of players that have played this course
- 2:08and a lot of players that have played
- 2:09this course. Well, I do think that's
- 2:11going to start to end up being like a
- 2:12thing that differentiates players that
- 2:14we can be on because there's a lot of
- 2:15players that I like and even some core
- 2:17players that I'll be on that don't have
- 2:18course history or have good course
- 2:20history. And maybe this could end up
- 2:22being something like DFS wise end up
- 2:23being a leverage opportunity as the week
- 2:25presents itself where you know maybe we
- 2:27got two players that are basically the
- 2:29same plays. One player ends up being a
- 2:30little bit chalky whereas the other
- 2:31player does not. Well then that could
- 2:33end up being a leverage opportunity
- 2:34where we're chasing someone that has a
- 2:35little bit better course history maybe
- 2:37than like recent form instead. Now in
- 2:39regards to stat fit guys we're basically
- 2:41looking at par five scoring bird or
- 2:43better percentage. We need golfers to be
- 2:45scoring right minus five on average or
- 2:47five under average guys. What was it?
- 2:495.2. They need to be scoring simply put
- 2:51and the way they're going to do that is
- 2:52by having good total driving, good ball
- 2:54string. It's pretty much as simple as
- 2:55that. That is what we want to be looking
- 2:56at. They do need to be gaining on
- 2:58approach as well. We are getting some
- 2:59players that have some smaller sample
- 3:00size if we take a peek at the players on
- 3:02the top end that are going to be good
- 3:03stat fits. I mean, Coven going to be
- 3:05looking very good. Ben James looking
- 3:07very good. Blades Brown an extremely
- 3:09good stat fit. Jackson Suber a very good
- 3:11stat fit as well. Trace Crow looking
- 3:13pretty darn appealing there as well. So,
- 3:14we are getting enough players that are
- 3:15popping up as good stat fits. In regards
- 3:17to recent form, which player should we
- 3:19be targeting recent form-wise? Well, Ben
- 3:21Kohl's, right? He's finally maybe maybe
- 3:24he's not priced correctly. He's just not
- 3:26he's still not priced correctly. He
- 3:27should be $1,000 more expensive. He's
- 3:29going to be someone that we're betting
- 3:30on once again this week. Probably still
- 3:31an right bet, but someone we're going to
- 3:33be looking at top 20-wise. I don't know
- 3:34if you guys have noticed this, but the
- 3:35top 20 market this fall has been
- 3:37absolutely spectacular. We where we've
- 3:39been getting a lot of plus 100 bets,
- 3:41plus 200 bets on players that we should
- 3:43not be getting that on. It's really been
- 3:45kind of the bet to go to really during
- 3:46the fall swing here and I think we're
- 3:48going to be looking at that again in
- 3:50this tournament. But Kven pops up in
- 3:51there, guys. Ben James is popping up in
- 3:53there. One miss cut for him. Other than
- 3:54that, pretty good stuff there. Cur Chris
- 3:56Kirk has also been playing pretty darn
- 3:58well. Ryan Gerard playing well. Neil
- 4:00Shipley, you know, continuing this very
- 4:01good fall swing that he has been on.
- 4:03Jordan L. Smith is a player that I
- 4:04really like. Chris Ventura coming in off
- 4:06of a second place finish last week. Kind
- 4:08of an appealing click. Uh, so with that
- 4:09guys, let's go ahead and get into the
- 4:10golfers that are going to be in the high
- 4:12tier that players, you know, that we
- 4:13expect to be in contention to win. And I
- 4:16will say the high tier ends up being a
- 4:17little bit more difficult this week to
- 4:19me just because I would argue that these
- 4:21top four plays are all basically the the
- 4:24same in terms of how much they appeal to
- 4:26me. Koiven, sure wise, we would expect
- 4:28him to play well. He is someone where
- 4:30obviously in that first event back I
- 4:32wasn't really expecting all that much
- 4:33from him after having a good um
- 4:36president's cup. Finished 65th at the
- 4:38Utah Championship. Litmore finished
- 4:40fifth but like you know had a little bit
- 4:42of a lackluster finish mixed in there.
- 4:44That's not all too shocking to me. On
- 4:46top of that we have Ryan Gerard here who
- 4:47has been playing some pretty solid golf
- 4:49for a long time here. You know we look
- 4:51at his form. Sure. One miscut there at
- 4:52the Windham championship. That's just
- 4:54due to one bad round. Uh and then the US
- 4:56Open kind of an event where you wouldn't
- 4:57necessarily expect him to be able to
- 4:59play well. Although this year if he's
- 5:00playing if he's playing as well as he is
- 5:02right now continuing to next year I
- 5:04certainly would expect him to. But we
- 5:05see you know top 10 at the open rocket
- 5:07classic FedEx St. Jude top 25 BMW
- 5:10championship top 20 and then Bay Current
- 5:12Classic top five finish. So he is
- 5:14obviously playing extremely good golf.
- 5:15He is someone that kind of fits the mold
- 5:17of someone I do want to be betting on
- 5:18even to top 20. Even to top 10. Yeah top
- 5:2110 guys plus 175 on FanDuel. That's a
- 5:23bet that I I think we can get to. About
- 5:2613 to1 does feel correct for him. I
- 5:28don't think we're getting too much
- 5:29value. The data says it's a little bit
- 5:30of a value bet there. I don't mind that
- 5:32he's going to be a good stat. It does
- 5:33have the course history, 15th in his
- 5:35most recent start here. Ben Griffin
- 5:36coming in off of the fourth place finish
- 5:38last week after, you know, being in
- 5:39lackluster form for quite some time. I,
- 5:41you know, this is kind of what makes
- 5:43fantasy golf tough because we hadn't
- 5:45seen him for some time. You could argue
- 5:46that just need a break, right? That
- 5:48that's literally it. Okay, you need a
- 5:49break and then he finished top five. I
- 5:51buy it. I'll buy it, you know? and and
- 5:53he's the defending champ. I kind of
- 5:55expect him to play well though. And
- 5:56we're getting him at 16 to1. I'm fine
- 5:58with that. I think that makes sense. He
- 6:00is someone where I would rather be on
- 6:01him to win though than like do a
- 6:03placement bet. I almost think he's a
- 6:04better outright bet that he is DFS
- 6:06click. Ben James is going to be also
- 6:08interesting. He's going to look pretty
- 6:09good stat wise. Where where he's not
- 6:11going to look good is that inconsistency
- 6:13and kind of these random miscuts really
- 6:14in some spots where you wouldn't expect
- 6:16him to miss the cut. So there's a loaded
- 6:18field here, especially with those top
- 6:19end plays. But I do really like the
- 6:21price tag of someone like Blades Brown
- 6:23who really gets staff fit, really good
- 6:24specialist here as well. Been a top 20
- 6:26machine basically when he has made the
- 6:28cuts. Miss the cut at the Windom
- 6:30Championship. A different track compared
- 6:31to this one. This is an easier scoring
- 6:33track. I do expect him to show up and he
- 6:35is someone where we could start to do
- 6:36our top 20 bets where he's going to be
- 6:38plus 175 on FanDuel. I really like that
- 6:40bet and if you want to mess around with
- 6:42him at 35 to1, I mean this is a course
- 6:44where I do expect him to show up and
- 6:46play well at. You know, you could make a
- 6:47good argument that the Corrales is a,
- 6:49you know, similar track. Even last
- 6:50week's event, you could argue it's like
- 6:52a similar type of environment, top 20
- 6:54finishes there. And so that's where I
- 6:55end up liking him a lot at that same
- 6:57measure. I do like Jackson Suber as
- 6:58well, who has been some very good form.
- 7:00Maybe not nearly peing as much as we
- 7:02would like, but he's going to be a very
- 7:04good stat. Once again, for this course,
- 7:06there's really no holes in his game. He
- 7:07should really be able to succeed here.
- 7:09Even when we look at it from a
- 7:10specialist standpoint, he is something
- 7:12that does stand out for the most part.
- 7:13Not the best on PES on greens. That is a
- 7:15concern. fairways as well. Kind of
- 7:17struggles there. Other than that, pretty
- 7:19darn good stuff. And so maybe we're not
- 7:21getting that top end finish that we need
- 7:22out of him, but he is someone that I do
- 7:24think is going to be able to make the
- 7:25cut. Like I do like the idea of chasing
- 7:26that finished top uh 15 at this event
- 7:29last year as well. So I would really
- 7:31like him for a DFS click maybe not on
- 7:33him as much betting if you wanted to
- 7:35mess around with it. I mean 36 to1
- 7:37DraftKings a little bit appealing. I
- 7:39just I I'd rather he's more of a DFS
- 7:41click. He's like the opposite than Ben
- 7:43Griffin to me. Chris Kirk I also really
- 7:44like. Michael Kim I also really like as
- 7:46well guys. But that rounds us into the
- 7:48mid tier, the dark horse tier. And
- 7:49really the player that I'm just going to
- 7:50mess around with the most here is going
- 7:51to be Ben Kohl's. Does have course
- 7:53experience here at this track. Finishing
- 7:5563rd at this event last year. Had a bad
- 7:57Sunday. Finishing 72nd there. Different
- 7:59golfer this year. A different golfer
- 8:01right now. One of the best golfers in
- 8:02the world right now. Just playing
- 8:04extremely good golf. Been a top 20
- 8:05machine. Tough really not to like him in
- 8:07general. And the top 20 market for him.
- 8:09Plus 190 to finish top 20. don't really
- 8:12understand that given how well he's
- 8:13played and given the fact that he's
- 8:14really kind of checking all the boxes in
- 8:16regards to how we would want him to look
- 8:17statwise. Sure, par five scoring could
- 8:19be better, total driving could be
- 8:20better. Third in birdie a better
- 8:22percentage, second in strokes and
- 8:23approach and ball striking still 14th
- 8:25there. And so with it not being really a
- 8:26longer track as well, he looks very
- 8:28appealing. Cutswise, he's made 21 out of
- 8:3127 cuts this year. Five top 10 finishes.
- 8:33And if we're looking at the sample,
- 8:34guys, average finish lately has been
- 8:3618th. So really just looking great. I do
- 8:38like him as an outright bet about 50 to
- 8:4040 to1 odds that we are getting him.
- 8:42He's going to be someone that I'm
- 8:43treating as a core play as I am with
- 8:45Jackson Suber. I also think we could get
- 8:47to another core play this week guys.
- 8:48That's going to be Jordan L. Smith. So,
- 8:50he's someone that was on a lot last
- 8:51week. Ended up finishing top 20 for us.
- 8:53Continuing the great form that he has
- 8:55been in. He's also someone that just
- 8:57across the board looks like a pretty
- 8:58appealing play. Again, not the best on
- 9:00Possum Greens. That is a bit of a
- 9:02concern to me. Maybe that, you know,
- 9:04caps his upside, but he is someone that
- 9:06given the the odds that we're getting on
- 9:07him about 37 to1. I feel like that's a
- 9:09fine number to top 20. I do wish this
- 9:11was a little bit better, but you know,
- 9:13plus 185, I'm perfectly fine with that
- 9:15as a top 20 bet. And so, he's someone
- 9:17really just across the board does stand
- 9:19out to me as a great click, someone that
- 9:20we should be going out of our way target
- 9:22radar-wise, not too spread out. Course
- 9:25could be a little bit better course
- 9:26history-wise, we take it comp course,
- 9:28okay, because we don't have any course
- 9:29history for him. That makes sense. Uh
- 9:31but yeah, so he kind of fits the mold of
- 9:33like a player that I wish had that
- 9:35course experience which makes him a
- 9:37little bit lackluster. Steven Fisk uh
- 9:39tough to ignore the false swing that
- 9:41he's had. 22nd, 7th, 66th, bad there.
- 9:44And then a second winner top 10s. I mean
- 9:46riskreward based play there, but I I
- 9:48don't mind the idea of against him. And
- 9:50then Sheamus Power as well. Another
- 9:51golfer that you know has been playing
- 9:53some pretty good golf in this fall
- 9:54swing. 7th, 21st, 2nd. This is a track
- 9:57where I would expect him to play well at
- 9:58as well. I think there's a path where
- 10:00you could get to him as an outright bet.
- 10:01He is someone where if it does end up
- 10:03getting a little bit windier. I do see
- 10:04that benefiting him. He's someone 45 to1
- 10:06odds I'm perfectly fine with that. Not
- 10:08really a placement bet type of golfer I
- 10:10want to get to. He's someone where I'd
- 10:11rather chase the upside. Maybe like a
- 10:13top five as well. But otherwise I don't
- 10:15mind that. Let me go ahead and jump on
- 10:16into the low tier. Zachary Belchu who
- 10:18was someone that was a big letdown last
- 10:20week guys. We we see it. It's one bad
- 10:22round. 74th and then or 74 and then a
- 10:2566. Okay. So really just one outlier
- 10:27around which kind of happened. I mean it
- 10:29sucks that that basically ruined my
- 10:31week. I had a decent amount of lines
- 10:33that could have done something that were
- 10:34five out of six. Very annoying there.
- 10:36Seemed like he was going to make a push
- 10:37as well and then it just faded. But a
- 10:39very good final round. Like we'll take
- 10:41that, you know, let's get it more to the
- 10:42averages there. But we've seen him play
- 10:44extremely well lately, right? He did
- 10:46have one miscut at the Rocket Classic.
- 10:47Uh we see a 14th, 24th, 13th, 9th. I
- 10:50mean just really good stuff from him
- 10:51across the board. He is someone where I
- 10:53kind of think we can see him bounce
- 10:54back. played at this event two years ago
- 10:56was able to make the cut there. Stat fit
- 10:58wise going to be good enough across the
- 10:59board. All right wise I really don't
- 11:01mind it. You know about 50 to1 odds
- 11:02feels pretty darn good to top 20 plus
- 11:04200 odds and this is where I do think
- 11:06we're going to start to get some good
- 11:07value. So assuming he can write off that
- 11:09one bad round that he had perfectly fine
- 11:11going back to the well with him this
- 11:12week. Trace Crow and Neil Shipley are
- 11:13both pretty darn appealing. Crow ended
- 11:15up withdrawing from this event two years
- 11:16ago which obviously we don't like to see
- 11:18that. Uh made the cut and then 75th. I
- 11:21don't didn't look into what that was. If
- 11:23that was like probably an injury you you
- 11:25would think, right? But I'd like to see
- 11:26that he does have the course experience
- 11:27here. Stat fit wise again pretty good
- 11:29across the board. Um good scorer, good
- 11:32ball striker, good stroke skin approach.
- 11:33Betting wise, I don't mind like 65 to1
- 11:36on FanDuel. They're kind of asking us to
- 11:37bet him. That that's a really good
- 11:39number for a golfer that is playing, you
- 11:40know, pretty darn solid golf. And again,
- 11:42the top 20 market about two plus 270 for
- 11:45him to finish top 20 just seems like a
- 11:47very good number to him. A number that
- 11:48shouldn't be happening. and just across
- 11:50the board, he is someone that we want to
- 11:51be targeting. Like there's really no
- 11:52worries about him overall. He is someone
- 11:54that I do think we'll be able to make
- 11:55the cut and he's someone DFS-wise that I
- 11:57do think we need to be going out of our
- 11:58way to target. I'm price tag wise, I am
- 12:00considering him a core play just because
- 12:02I do think he's going to give us a make
- 12:03cut here at this event. Then from there,
- 12:05Austin, a former winner here. You know,
- 12:07six straight make cuts for Impo Hosler.
- 12:09Three very good finishes here, top 20
- 12:10finishes, and then uh three straight
- 12:12make cuts as well. Very good click
- 12:13across the board. So then from there, we
- 12:15go ahead and jump into kind of the lower
- 12:17part of this tier. And there's not as
- 12:19much that I love here on the lower end.
- 12:21Max McGrevy, two made cuts at this
- 12:23event. Three straight make cuts. It's
- 12:25really not until we get into more of the
- 12:27value tier that some of the plays start
- 12:29to stand out. Marty Doe has been playing
- 12:31some good golf this fall. Four straight
- 12:33make cuts for him. Justin Lowour, who
- 12:35you know miscut in one event recently.
- 12:37Obviously, we don't love that, but he's
- 12:39also made three straight cuts at this
- 12:41tournament with a top five finish mixed
- 12:42in there. Uh we see one bad round in
- 12:45there at the Butterfield Bermuda
- 12:46Championship. not the most consistent
- 12:48player when we're looking at it, but
- 12:49overall I do think he is a player that
- 12:51pops enough for us at that price tag,
- 12:53right? We're chasing the price tag there
- 12:54from Joel Damon is a player that, you
- 12:56know, we have seen play well in these
- 12:58type of environments. A top 40
- 13:00specialist like I'm perfectly fine
- 13:01chasing that, but to me the play that
- 13:03stands out to me the most ends up being
- 13:04Ben Silverman here where Ben Silverman
- 13:06for the most part has not played great
- 13:07golf. Only 50% of his cuts have been or
- 13:11starts have been made cuts. More
- 13:12recently, however, we've seen him play
- 13:14well this fall swing. Okay, so we've
- 13:15seen him have a 43rd Bank of Utah
- 13:18Championship 67 in round two and then a
- 13:2070th. So, you know, not great result,
- 13:22but you know, one bad round, one decent
- 13:24round, a third and then a 20th. And so
- 13:26maybe he found something here, right?
- 13:28That that's kind of what I'm reading
- 13:29into cuz we've seen him play well
- 13:31recently. And on top of that, this is a
- 13:33course where he did finish top 25 at
- 13:36this event last year. And so given the
- 13:38price tag for him, given the fact that
- 13:40he's actually a pretty darn good stat as
- 13:41well, he is someone that I do think we
- 13:43want to be targeting. He is someone top
- 13:4520wise. Again, this is kind of great.
- 13:46Four to one ons. We're getting for him
- 13:48to top 20. Feel like that ends up being
- 13:50a very good number because if he is on
- 13:51his game here, which I do think he will
- 13:53be very appealing long shot wise 100 to1
- 13:56to win. Like I Yeah, sure. Give me like
- 13:58that is a a number that I think is just
- 14:00clearly wrong. Obviously doesn't have an
- 14:02in strong implied probability to win 1%,
- 14:05but I'll take that uh here given this
- 14:08number that we are getting. And I really
- 14:10like him as a top 20 bet. And then from
- 14:11there, there are more players that we
- 14:12could get into here, guys, but I don't
- 14:14think we have to go too crazy. So again,
- 14:15just to recap the core plays that I'll
- 14:17be on, Ben Kohl's, Trace Crow, you can
- 14:19make an argument for Jackson Suber. I
- 14:21like Ben Silverman, and I like Jornell
- 14:23Smith a little bit more. So those are
- 14:24going to be my four core plays. We'll
- 14:26try to fit in all five of those players
- 14:28though into our first build. And so a
- 14:30strong I think base build right now ends
- 14:32up being more of a it's kind of like a
- 14:34hybrid where it's fair and balanced but
- 14:36it's also a little bit studs and duds
- 14:37where yeah we're getting to Blades Brown
- 14:39and Super there but we're also going to
- 14:40get to Ben Silverman who's more of a
- 14:42valley. But I I like this line of
- 14:43approach here for this week where we're
- 14:45getting two players in Jordan Smith and
- 14:47Ben Kohl's who could be $1,000 more
- 14:49expensive and no one would bat an eye
- 14:50and then Crow and Silverman end up being
- 14:52value plays where Silverman I like the
- 14:54idea of chasing the upside. throw should
- 14:55end up being a little bit safer of a
- 14:57click. And so I think this ends up being
- 14:58a strong base build. Now GPPwise, we
- 15:00could try to get a little bit more
- 15:01unique, maybe chase a little bit more
- 15:03upside as well. But this gives us a lot
- 15:05to work around with. And so we'll go and
- 15:07just take a peek here at the 9to5 lineup
- 15:08builder right now and see what it's
- 15:10spinning out to us as some of the top
- 15:11builds. They're just trying to go more
- 15:13of a studs and duds approach, but it is
- 15:14still getting to a decent amount of the
- 15:17players that I like. So Kovven, sure pay
- 15:19out for him. Steven Fisk again, a little
- 15:20bit more riskreward there. I don't mind
- 15:22that getting into him. Sheamus power.
- 15:23Another play that I really do like. CBZ
- 15:25I'm fine with. Vaky Balamaki sword I'm
- 15:27fine with. And then Crow I do really
- 15:28like. And then it does get to Ben
- 15:30Silverman here. So a little bit
- 15:31different than what I'm seeing it but
- 15:32it's basically the exact same. I mean
- 15:34Kven Kohl's huge slight difference. Fisk
- 15:37a little bit more GPP. Crow and then
- 15:38Silverman. So along the same path and so
- 15:41maybe this ends up being a chalkier week
- 15:43in general. Uh if you know a lot of
- 15:44people are are saying the same stuff as
- 15:46me, maybe it doesn't end up being a
- 15:47chalkier week where maybe we have to get
- 15:48a little bit different here and there
- 15:50with some of the best that we can be on.
- 15:51But that is going to do it for this
