2:29the the entire Creative Cycle was within
2:32what you call a day God defined it
2:36called it wasn't the calendar that
2:37called it a day it was God that defined
2:39it and called it a
2:42day now the consistency with which this
2:45is written is not by chance it's not
2:48error it's not a mistake it's not
2:51because God lacks
2:53words I mean if he had said to us that
2:57he finished the creation and he called
3:00it a week and then the other one he
3:02calls it the second week the third week
3:05we would have believed but he says that
3:07all that he did in terms of creation was
3:09in buckets of what
3:13days
3:14now um and I really need you to listen
3:17to me this morning I I touched on it a
3:20bit at the Watchtower and I think in one
3:22of our services as well about how that
3:26what God does he doesn't do in years he
3:29doesn't do in weeks he doesn't do in
3:32months he does in
3:35days The Power of One Day the power of
3:39just one
3:42day and I think for the most part the
3:45kind of motivational speaking that you
3:48know we've we've listened to and has
3:50crept into the church and um grants a
3:53lot of people optimism for their life
3:56has a way of just keeping you hoping
4:00that sometime in the future you're going
4:02to be such a big person there's a Grand
4:05Vision that's going to be actualized and
4:08you know one day I'm going to be such
4:09and such and we lose sight of the most
4:12important thing in God's calendar which
4:14is one day one day I'm going to show you
4:17a few things
4:19here one day say with me one day one day
4:22if you can win one day you can win
4:25forever if you can win just one day it's
4:28not more than one day you don't need to
4:30win a week all you need to win is one
4:32day every day that's all you need one
4:35day every
4:37day all scripture is written for
4:40edification and the consistency with
4:42which this is recorded shows us a
4:44pattern God wants us to
4:46know number one is this is that God's
4:50timing system is measured in days God's
4:55system of timing is measured in
4:58days number two is that God's work is
5:03done in packets of days now as simple as
5:07the thought may seem it might be the
5:10most revolutionary thought in your
5:12life think of how big what it is you
5:15want to do the question I want to ask
5:17you is this can you do it for one day if
5:20you can do it for one day then you can
5:23succeed at
5:24it and I'm going to show you principles
5:26from God's word I'm not sharing with you
5:28you know nice nice ly created stops and
5:31all the rest this is pure

5:37God counts and what counts before God is
5:41each day each new day every one day what
5:44counts before God is every new day look
5:47at Psalm 118 let me show us a scripture

5:51show you in a different light this

6:01first service so all of our Brethren are
6:03connected with us all around the nations
6:06of the earth and um so just shout

6:41times we're using this to teach oh the
6:43day of the church and things like that
6:44no rest but I want to bring it home to
6:46you that many times people are waiting
6:49for a bright future or they are carrying
6:52the weight of a dark yesterday the
6:56people seated here and the weight on
6:58their shoulder is what happened in two
6:59two years ago 3 years ago men most times
7:02live either in the past or in the future
7:05you find people who every time you find
7:08people who I mean function under dark
7:10clouds depressive thoughts and all the
7:12rest most of the time it's because
7:14they're living in the past should I
7:16would I coulda what I could have been
7:17what I should have done if this did not
7:19happen to me if that did not happen to
7:20me if I didn't make this mistake but can
7:22I ask you a question I want you to
7:23answer it with all sense of seriousness
7:27and all Integrity can you change

7:32here has the ability to go back into now
7:35some of you slept 8 hours before coming
7:37to church even though you knew you were
7:39coming to church and you were supposed
7:40to prepare your spirit to receive from
7:42God you slept 8 hours you ate
7:44swallow last night and you slept 8 hours
7:47woke up this morning drooling over and
7:50now you're in church hoping I'm going to
7:52charge your
7:56spirit how many of you can go back sleep
7:596 hours again it's impossible the past
8:01is gone there's absolutely nothing you
8:04can do about the past now don't you see
8:06that it is one of the most futile
8:08Endeavors on Earth to be bothered about
8:10what you can't
8:11change now I know Christianity gives us
8:16the faith and the optimism that we can
8:19change the future now but even the
8:22scripture tells us that you don't know
8:23what's going to Beall you in the days to
8:25come we can speak words into the future
8:27and all the rest but you don't know what
8:29is going to be follow you in the days to
8:30come the past is unchangeable the future
8:35well we can infect things there but
8:37primarily it's in God's hands and all
8:39the rest what do we have you know the
8:41holy spirit said it to me this way he
8:43said stop stressing about what you can't
8:45control he said if you control what you
8:47can control then what you can control
8:50will control what you can't
8:52control now I know you didn't get what I
8:54said it's
8:56okay that's too deep for you
9:00you know I was listening to a preacher
9:01and he said you can't get this this is
9:03too deep for you I said I thought the
9:05reason you were teaching me is to get
9:07it so let me break it down all
9:12right stop stressing is that okay have

9:24this point somebody saying ah yeah I

9:31control rather focus on what you can
9:34control because what you can control

10:05easiest thing to lose in life is a
10:09day it is so powerful yet so um what's
10:13the word now so light as it were we wake
10:17up we sleep how many of you know this is
10:20um what time is it now this is about
10:2110:00 a.m. some minutes past 10 how many
10:24of you know how many hours are gone from
10:26today 10
10:28hours gone never to be
10:30retrieved the bulk of eting sleeping
10:33never to be
10:34retrieved and by by the time you get
10:36back home and then you have your Sunday
10:39nap cuz that's what you're going to do
10:41most of you and then you turn on Netflix
10:44you don't open your Bible note I know
10:46you turn on Netflix well they're not
10:48like that in this church you open your
10:50Bible note you turn on Netflix and you
10:52watch some series till about 9:00 p.m.
10:54guess what what you mean are
10:59the day is gone the unfortunate thing is
11:02that many times we stress about a great
11:05year and a great year never happens by
11:08chance it's days that compound to make a
11:11year is somebody following what I'm
11:13saying here if I get a hang of my day
11:17then of necessity the year will follow
11:19suit glory to God please listen very
11:22carefully to what I'm sharing with you I
11:25have found out that the basics the
11:27simplest things at the that control life
11:31somebody wants to you know just hope
11:32that by March they going to be the next
11:34big thing that's going to happen by
11:36August you know my life would have
11:38changed completely I'd be a billionaire
11:40i' be a millionaire in dollars or
11:41something like that it's not going to
11:42happen that way it's not going to happen
11:44that way it's going to be day by day the
11:46steps that you take take in each day and
11:49the value that you put to each day the
11:52easiest thing to waste on Earth is a day
11:56it's the easiest thing to waste

12:00are you still with me this morning look
12:01at Psalm :2 I'm just going to read us a
12:03couple of scriptures and let you see
12:05it's all there in scriptures you may not
12:07know that God puts this much premium on
12:10your 24-hour period he does put premium
12:12on it and then I show you what do you do
12:16to ensure that every 24 hours is working
12:20towards your vision working towards your
12:23target working towards your goal because
12:26life
12:27compounds let me tell you one of the
12:29things you should stop looking out for
12:30is a big break too many people are
12:31looking for a big break you know just
12:33that moment that time one sudden moment
12:36where everything will change and by the
12:38time you look at me you're wondering wow
12:41this guy I mean wow look at what God has
12:43made of his life koplan said something
12:45he said many times people walk up to him
12:48I mean this was at the time um his
12:49ministry gr National prominence in in
12:51America and around the world and people
12:53walk up to him and say my goodness your
12:56ministry just took off overnight and he
12:59said he will smile and laugh it says if
13:01he took off overnight that night must be
13:03the longest night in
13:04history because the truth of the matter
13:06is there's
13:08consistency that may not be seen are you
13:11following what I'm saying here and what
13:13you call a big break is simply what a
13:16compounding of those things you've
13:18consistently done in the times where it
13:20didn't seem like it mattered is somebody
13:22F what I'm saying here Psalm 90 and the
13:2412th verse Psalm 90 and verse 12 popular

13:29and um you see what it says here let's
13:32read together one to go what does it say
13:34now you know this scripture when you're
13:36celebrating your birthday and somebody
13:38wants to pray for you or they want to
13:39exalt you most likely they're going to
13:41read you this scripture am I right now
13:42what does it say one to go so teach us
13:45to number what are we numbering Come on
13:47talk to me are you numbering your
13:50weeks what are you numbering your days
13:53your days say to your neighbor your days
13:56it says teach us to number our days that
13:59we may apply our hearts onto what wisdom
14:03life is lived in days not years life is
14:06lived in days not years and you have to
14:09make that adjustment in your mind life
14:12is lived in days not
14:14years there's absolutely no need to
14:16think you're going to have a great year
14:18if you're not having great
14:20days there's no need to expect a great
14:23future if you're not having great
14:26days there's no need to expect that you
14:28will win in your life and in your future
14:32and hope that by the time I'm 40 Years
14:34of or 50 years of age then I'm going to
14:36have a great life absolutely no
14:39need that's actually witchcraft is
14:42somebody listen to what I'm saying here
14:44life is lived in what days not years if
14:48you win the day you will have sorted out
14:51the
14:52year our job is not to obsess and to be
14:57um what's the word now bothered and to
15:00be you know that Obsession about a
15:03future I understand the teaching of
15:05vision I understand the teaching of
15:07vision where they tell you your vision
15:09is a picture of the future and I know
15:11you've heard me teach on Vision before
15:13the importance of vision but you see the
15:16challenge here is this is that many of
15:18times we are not present in the now of
15:21Our Lives we are out there in an in a
15:24future that we can't see so well you
15:27can't tell what the dimensions fully are
15:29it's there you know something great is
15:31going to happen in my life something
15:33great is going to happen tomorrow in the
15:35next 3 years my life is going to change
15:375 years then I'm going to be the biggest
15:39this and that the challenge is this is
15:41that we obsess about a future that you
15:44can't even hold and we let go of the day
15:47that you already
15:51have you see we have to rework our minds
15:54to give value hear me and hear me well
15:56please listen to what I want to say a
15:58man man who does not have a vision of
16:01the
16:02future but execute each day well we live
16:05a better life than a man who is carrying
16:08Vision everywhere and is oblivious of
16:10his day let me say what I said again if
16:13you like have vision board I know many
16:16of you have
16:17it and beside your vision board what do
16:19they call it is window board or
16:20something you have all the different
16:22mood board there's window board there's
16:23vision board there's in fact you now
16:25have what they call it seminars and um
16:28people taking lectures or what you guys
16:30call it is it webinars or what you guys
16:32call it and talk to me what they call
16:35it Vision master class and all of those
16:39things and I believe in all of those
16:42things please attend them these are
16:45tools and skills that will help you for
16:47your life but the challenge with this is
16:50you can't obsess about a vision that is
16:52not here and be totally oblivious to the
16:55fact that every day counts
17:01tell the person beside you every day
17:02counts every counts now I'm not sharing
17:05with you anything that's deep you know
17:07out of the world you go wow where did he
17:09get that from I'm sharing with you with
17:11what you know but you're not doing every
17:14day
17:15counts every day counts it's an amazing
17:18thing you know sometimes I say to God if
17:21I were God the whole world will be
17:23gone some of the prayers people pray I I
17:26will be slapping them as they are
17:27praying I'm telling you I I just I mean
17:30cuzz the absurdity of the prayer
17:33sometimes like I said to you I said your
17:36routines are more a prediction of your
17:38future a prophecy of your future than
17:40your prayers your routines are more a
17:43prediction of your future they more a
17:45prophecy of your future than the prayers
17:46that you're praying so we have to be
17:49present in the now of Our Lives take
17:50charge of the now of Our Lives what God
17:52has given to us is now what is
17:54guaranteed is now what is guaranteed is
17:57today are you listening to what I'm
17:58saying in here what is guaranteed what
18:00God has given to you is today what he
18:02guarantees you is today and the promise
18:06is this if that if you can win one day
18:09every day if you can win one day every
18:12day then you are sure that you will win
18:14in life that's the promise glory to God
18:18are we still
18:21together you know somebody said this and
18:24and I really think so he said I mean I
18:26mean I may not be able to support this
18:29and prove this and all the rest but he
18:30said you know children of Israel were
18:31supposed to go through the Wilderness
18:33for how many days was it 11 days or
18:34something like that they were supposed
18:36to go it was a short journey and then
18:38they dis I mean they complained and mmed
18:40and all you remember the story and they
18:42went for 40 years you remember that and
18:44the person said and I think so that 40
18:47years was you know the spies were in the
18:49land for 40 days and all he said 40
18:52years was God's punishment for wasting
18:5340 days I think so each day one year
18:57extra
18:59Hallelujah let's read somebody said I
19:03beg glory to God please everybody look
19:07at me how many of you agree and I'm not
19:10saying this in any sense of Pride or
19:12anything how many of you agree that your
19:14pastor is a spiritual man I'm not a
19:16motivational speaker I I I I don't even
19:19like it don't motivate me go and
19:22motivate yourself I don't like it years
19:24ago I was listening to the radio and my
19:27father said to me said this your mouth
19:28it will put you in trouble my dad was
19:30with me we're listening to the radio and
19:32the gentleman began to speak this was
19:34years ago I was a young boy young kid
19:36and the man said I want to teach you how
19:38to make a million naira I think it was
19:41the TV pardon me it was the TV we were
19:43watching the TV and said I'm going to
19:44show you how to make a million n and I
19:46said to my dad I said are you going to
19:48listen to him he said he may have
19:49something to say I said no I I was just
19:52an early teenage um teenager at the time
19:55he said what do you mean a I said he has
19:58not made 1
19:59million he doesn't look like anybody
20:01that has a million he doesn't look like
20:04it so why on Earth is he teaching me how
20:06to make a million she going to use what
20:07he's saying first and foremost now why
20:09did I say that I I I I mean I'm not in I
20:13mean so motivational but what I'm saying
20:16is this is that as deeply spiritual as I
20:20am the truth of the matter is this is
20:23that I find out that many times
20:25spirituality can be an excuse for a lot
20:28of people from doing the things that
20:30they should really do and the things
20:32that really has effect and matters in
20:36their life are you listening to what I'm
20:38saying here for example I understand
20:41that you're sewing I fully understand
20:43that you're giving seeds and all the
20:44rest I understand that it's the year of
20:46the latter rain and that the rain is
20:47going to come upon your life and all the
20:49rest but have you developed capacity for
20:52the rain that is coming if you say that
20:54the Harvest is coming to you in some
20:56measure do you have bands do you have
20:59the financial knowledge and the
21:01wherewithal to handle the increase that
21:03God is bringing to you hear me and hear
21:05me well we don't prepare for Harvest
21:08when Harvest has come it's not when
21:10Harvest comes so you find a Believer
21:13who's praying certain prayers and all
21:15the rest and in the mercy of God he he
21:17delays the answer of that prayer because
21:20you don't have the capacity and the
21:21wherewith to receive the things that
21:23he's saying to
21:24you if somebody listen to what I'm
21:26saying here
21:29can I tell you
21:30something it's the Mery of God that some
21:32people are not yet
21:35married now don't get me wrong please
21:37there there are different classes here
21:39don't get me wrong but I'm saying that
21:40there are things the Holy Spirit has
21:42been talking to you to walk on yourself
21:43about are you listening to what I'm
21:45saying here this the mercy of God that
21:47you don't have some form of exposure in
21:49your life it's the mercy of God if God
21:52exposes some people they don't have the
21:54WHERE with to handle Fame they don't
21:56have the WHERE with to handle influence
22:01are you still
22:04here so what am I saying you can go on a
22:08mountain and pray three days and three
22:09nights and you know and old rest and
22:11then you come back and then we do all of
22:12our fast and old rest and we say yes the
22:14year is made and all the rest the
22:16prophecy of your life is in your daily
22:21routines is in your daily routines
22:23except prayer is a
22:24routine it's in your daily
22:27routines
22:29Hallelujah are we still here let me read
22:32us about five scriptures and I want you
22:34to follow these thoughts here Matthew

22:49this is the prayer of Jesus let's read
22:51together what does it say 1 to go give

22:55our on what basis does God deal with us

23:05Lamentations the third chapter and the

23:13and verse 23 together I want to go what
23:15does it say it is of the Lord's mercies
23:17we are not consumed because his
23:19compassions fail not everybody read

23:35well maybe the the day is the shortest
23:37unit of time it's not the hour is the
23:39minute there is there the seconds are
23:41there but it says they are new every
23:43morning I want you to see the
23:44consistency in the word of God about the
23:47power of the day look at Luke chapter 9
23:50and verse 23 let's read that together

23:55and he said to them all if any man will
23:57come after me let him deny himself and
23:59take up his cross

24:03daily and what follow me Psalm 84 are
24:08you taking note of these scriptures

24:1284 the power of the day if you can crack
24:16this simple principle you've cracked
24:20life somebody says I want to go to the
24:22gym I want to do this I want to do that
24:24I want to do this I do hope you know
24:26that if you can somebody's smiling at me
24:29because he's gone to the gym 10
24:32times and different gyms now you you
24:35can't go to that gym again cuz you're
24:36ashamed they know your face the last
24:39time you came pumped

24:45up and the gym instructor was so excited
24:48last year he saw the passion in your
24:50eyes he knew you were going to do it
24:52this
24:56year but it is what it is
24:59now you're resorting to prayer father in
25:01the name of Jesus there's nothing you
25:03can do in the name of Jesus burn it off
25:06Lord burn it off fresh fire on my Altar
25:10and on my temple my body is the Temple
25:11of the Holy
25:15Ghost but can I tell you something the
25:18problem is you make up your mind I'm
25:21going to do this for three months make
25:22up your mind to do it for one day and
25:25make up your mind to do it the next day
25:27again because because the mercies of God
25:29are new how every
25:31morning you must always press a reset
25:33with each new day listen if you
25:36understand this principle the question
25:38is can you do it for one day just ask
25:40yourself can I do this for one day you
25:41say I'm going to write all right I'm I'm
25:44I mean I want to write I want to release
25:46materials and all the rest now the
25:48question is can you do it for one day
25:51can you do it for one day can you write
25:52for one day can you take out 10 minutes
25:5515 minutes 20 minutes a day to write for
25:57one day if you can do it for one day
25:59then think of your life in packets of
26:02days don't say I'm going to write for a
26:04year nobody writes for a year nobody
26:07writes for a
26:08month don't say I'm going to do this for
26:11seven years that's the problem the
26:13question is can you do it for one
26:15day are you listening to what I'm saying
26:17here and then every new day you wake up
26:21with a new zest to life almost as though
26:25you didn't make that decision yesterday
26:28is somebody still here this is important
26:31why am I sharing this with you because
26:34if you cannot consistently do something
26:37then don't expect a miracle don't expect
26:40special results whatever it is please
26:43look at me whatever it is your Desir us
26:44of or that God has said to you there is
26:47a consistent discipline that must be
26:50given to it to deliver it whatever it is
26:53if you say that all right this year I'm
26:56going to be such and such my finances is
26:59going to be such and such there's a
27:00consistent discipline that must
27:02underguard it confession will reveal to
27:05you what to do is somebody getting what
27:07I'm saying it could be as simple as I'm
27:10going to read something about money and
27:12about finances for 15 minutes every day
27:16there's something you have to do now
27:18somebody says well but I'm reading does
27:20that make me richer no it just helps you
27:22spot opportunities when they arise sir
27:24you're not blind and then the
27:26opportunity passes You by yes sir
27:28consistency there's listen to me there's
27:31nothing you're Desir us of there's
27:33nothing you're believing God for that
27:34there's no routine no consistent
27:36discipline that underg guards it nothing
27:39even
27:40prophecy even
27:42prophecy is somebody listen to what I'm
27:44saying the idea that we can just believe
27:47God and then just hope that out of the
27:48Blues the heavens will open and then you
27:51know our lives have changed and all the
27:53rest is the biggest problem with
27:55Pentecostalism that's the biggest
27:57problem we have
27:59we pray but what prayer does is to
28:00create opportunities are you ready for
28:02the opportunities when they show up are
28:05you ready for the chances when they show
28:08up glory to God hallelujah are we still

28:1584 and verse 10 for a day thy court is
28:18better than a thousand I'd rather be a
28:20doke Keeper in the house of the Lord
28:22than to dwell in t of the Weck of the
28:23wicked now but I want to show you God's
28:26value system how God estimates day we've
28:29read this many of times and usually we
28:31use it to teach you know the omnipotence
28:34of God that God can do anything you know
28:36God is so mighty we always reflect it in
28:40this I mean we we read this particular
28:43scripture in the eyes of God as though
28:45it's referring just to God but I want to
28:47show you how it refers to you look at

28:55look at the eth verse
28:58look at 2 Peter chapter 3 and: 8 and I
29:01want us to read it very slowly and get
29:02it this morning all right it says but
29:05beloved be not ignorant of this one

29:14this one thing I don't want you ignorant

29:19about when he says don't be ignorant he
29:20says that one day with the Lord is as a
29:23thousand years and a thousand years with
29:26the Lord is as what one day now please

29:31sight of God what can be accomplished in
29:34one day is acing to what will happen in
29:38a thousand years and you can compress a
29:41thousand years into one day is somebody
29:44listen to what I'm saying here let me

29:47back of our minds we say one day with
29:49the Lord is a th years old a th years
29:51with the Lord is like one day God is

31:45now the Pains of discipline in the now
31:48and then look into the future and by the

31:56you feel good about yourself and you do
31:59that all your life without putting your

33:12be doing most likely by 6: p.m. this is
33:16what may be happening in this person's
33:18life if you don't have that near almost
33:21predictable routine and schedule to your
33:23life the half-hazard nature of your life
33:26is the halfhazard nature of this you
33:28will
33:29get is somebody getting what I'm saying
33:31here sir there has to be that routine
33:34that governs what is allowed in your
33:37life and what is not
33:39allowed some of you I mean most of you
33:41are I mean students of um um and you
33:43read a whole lot you realize how that if
33:46you don't control time and all the rest
33:48you find out that the urgent things take
33:49the place of the important things all of
33:51a sudden it looks so urgent it looks so
33:53urgent it looks so urgent you find out
33:55that the things that are important are
33:57unscheduled in your life the routines of
34:00your life and we don't prepare routines
34:01for years or for months or for weeks we
34:03prepare routines for days are you
34:06following what I'm saying here we
34:07prepare routines for days now let me
34:09show you a scriptural principle here a
34:11scriptural principle here very important
34:14go back to Genesis 1 that we read and I
34:17want to show you a principle there is
34:19anybody getting anything this morning
34:20yes sir if you're going to be the best
34:23in that field if you're going to achieve
34:26that thing my question is is what is on
34:29schedul in your day to make it happen
34:32not what are you doing now what is on
34:34scheduled in your day to make it happen
34:37what is in the routine of your day to
34:39make it happen is somebody listen to
34:41what I'm saying what is in the routine
34:43of your day to make it happen and I
34:45found out this I found this out pardon
34:47me that largely the things that
34:50generates the greatest results in our
34:52lives are usually the basics the simple
34:54things the simple things that we get
34:56used to are you getting what I'm saying
34:58here the simple things that we have done
35:00with so much monoton with so much um
35:02regularity that there's some monotony in
35:04it but can I tell you something that you
35:07will need some monotony are you
35:09following what I'm saying here and some
35:11bottom of discipline to actually achieve
35:14greatness this idea that I need variety
35:18every time I need spice in my life are
35:20you soup I mean I need spice I need new
35:24spice in my life there's a monotony that
35:27comes with greatness which means you do
35:30the same thing the same time the same
35:32way
35:36continually is somebody F what I'm

36:22and and very powerful story he said the
36:25the lady said something she said she was
36:27C close to Kobe's um elder sister so she
36:30said almost every day she was in their
36:32house and he her room was down the the
36:34hallway his room was just before her
36:37room he said almost every day he said I
36:40mean apparently Michael Jordan was his
36:43um I mean his hero and all the rest he
36:45said every day he was watching
36:47basketball and he will call her to like
36:51out of excitement he said without fail
36:54he said every day at least twice he will
36:56run to his sister room obviously you
36:58know how siblings are and siblings don't
36:59send themselves so he has to be an
37:01outsider or something like that run to
37:03the sister's room and then scream come
37:05and see he would have watched for hours
37:07nonstop she said one time the the lady
37:10and um um his sister went to the club
37:13this is no I mean all right okay so if
37:16you go to so they went to somebody so
37:20they went to the club she said they left
37:23him at about 8:00 p.m. they came back at
37:256:00 a.m. his eyes were wide open and he
37:28was still practicing
37:30moves so somebody comes out and then
37:33begins to make declaration I am the king

39:11said why are you doing this I thought
39:13you're going to be doing some very
39:14complex things and all and all of that
39:16and paraphrasing because I don't
39:18remember exactly how he put it but the
39:20way he put it is this he said if I can
39:22master the basics and if I can be a
39:25master at the basics it says everything
39:27you call complex will become very easy
39:30now the challenge many at times is that
39:32we want to do complex things we are you
39:35following what I'm saying here but the
39:36very Basics that we have to put on
39:39routine on shedule and enjoy the
39:42monotony that comes with it is somebody
39:45following what I'm saying here let me
39:46stress that again enjoy the monotony
39:48that comes with it that's where
39:50greatness that's where winning really
39:52starts from on a daily basis is somebody
39:55follow what I'm saying here now go to
39:56Genesis chapter one I want to show you
39:58this very quickly why am I sharing this
40:00with you I'm sharing so that you can set
40:04the tone for your
40:06year set the tone for your year look at
40:09a very powerful principle here in
40:11Genesis chapter 1 and verse 5 and this
40:14is not a mistake because it's repeated
40:16consistently all through Genesis chapter
40:191 look at what it says it says and the
40:22evening and the morning not the morning
40:25and the evening do you see that
40:29what did he say the evening and what the
40:32morning and you read consistently all
40:35true now obviously the Jewish calendar
40:37now had to follow this pattern now the
40:39Roman Calendar starts from morning are
40:41you following what I'm saying that's the
40:43idea that we have that our days starts
40:45from morning and then goes into the
40:47depths of the night but God's system
40:49says that it starts from the evening are
40:51you following what I'm saying here and
40:53then the morning that's what makes one
40:56day not the morning and the evening now
40:59if this order were changed ever in
41:01scriptures then U maybe that will be
41:04fine night onto night uttered Speech day
41:07onto day are you following what I'm
41:08saying here you read that consistently
41:10throughout scripture there's that order
41:12that he shows us the evening and the
41:14morning the evening and the morning the
41:16evening and the morning why so why so
41:19why is the evening why why not the
41:21morning and evening morning and evening
41:23why I mean somebody says does he matter
41:24it sure matters it sure matters why does
41:27say evening and morning evening and
41:29morning evening and morning and then he
41:30says every day in the sight of God is
41:33evening and morning not morning and
41:34evening why
41:36so why so please write these things down
41:40I'm going to show us three very
41:41important things about how the day goes
41:44how to maximize the 24 hours you have
41:48number one is this every day must start
41:52from an examination of the previous
41:55day is somebody still here

42:04evening and the morning look at Proverbs
42:06chapter 4 and verse 26 Proverbs 4:26 I
42:11want to show us something very quickly
42:13there it says now which means you are
42:16not allowed to say that I'm going to bed
42:21without a review the unexamined life is
42:24a life not worth living are you follow
42:27what I'm saying here what happens many
42:29at times is that by the time you
42:31examining is 6 months down the line
42:33where things have gone
42:35wrong are you following what I'm saying
42:37but on a daily basis somebody says how
42:39do I examine very simple several ways
42:41you can do that what routines do you
42:44have are you following what I'm saying
42:46here I want to check the boxes to be
42:48sure now you don't have to be legalistic
42:50and say I'm carrying notes I mean if you
42:52are genz that like all the journal and
42:54other it's okay if you are old baba Yi
42:58that everything is in your head it's
43:00okay whichever one you are the key thing
43:01is that you are ticking are you
43:02following what I'm saying here whether
43:03you tick with pen or you tick with your
43:04mind but you are checking look at what
43:06it says in Proverbs chapter 4 let me
43:08show us this very quickly it says Ponder
43:10the part of your feet which means don't
43:12just be walking like you don't have you

43:51spiritual things you know want to stand

43:55God and now he's resurrected I have the
43:58life of God I understand all of these
44:00things but even that confession is he on
44:04routine or is it just an excited
44:07inspired confession because what you do
44:10scattered in a scattered manner does not
44:12have the ability to produce results just
44:14have the ability to produce many of you
44:16know this you I mean you did some form
44:17of science if you go outside that I mean
44:19like today they said there will be
44:21excessive heat in Lagos I checked the
44:23weather for excessive heat it will be 35
44:25degre but it will look like 42
44:29that's why you okay so
44:34now if you go outside there I do hope
44:37you know that the Sun raise has the
44:39power to burn things can burn leave can
44:42burn paper can burn your clothes but
44:45it's not burning anything until you put
44:47some form of converging lens and then
44:49what happens that the rays are convert
44:51together and then the energy that was
44:54scattered before converges on one point

45:00saying here so if you don't put things
45:01on on routine you don't put them on
45:03schedule and you're just doing things
45:05like that you are just making
45:06confessions you're doing all of those
45:08things what's going to happen is that
45:09you're going to do a lot of good things

45:18evening what you want to do is Ponder
45:20the part of your feet where have I been
45:22where have I been not forgetting that
45:25every day is going to compound to become

45:31birthday two days to your birthday start
45:33feeling sad I've not achieved much in my
45:36life because that's what happens two
45:38days to your birthday one week to your
45:40birthday you not start feeling sad look
45:42ah ah hey particular those of you that
45:44had all those numbers you know those
45:46numbers Target numbers by time I'm 30 I
45:48must do this by time I'm 40 listen if
45:50you live in Nigeria if you if you if you
45:53live long enough in this place all your
45:54number will scatter

46:30want to do with my life
46:33a you have three jobs now three jobs
46:37you're working three jobs the problem is
46:40this your life was already going in that
46:42direction but the only time you examined
46:44it was two days to your birthday the
46:46problem with that is that the emotions
46:49and the pain is too much to even bring
46:50change you just drown it
46:53okay and then you wait till Sunday when
46:56Pastor comes and give a prophetic word
46:57you say Pastor he's always talking to me
46:59where I ever he just knows that's why I
47:01like Pastor a he just knows what I'm
47:03going
47:08through please tell the person beside
47:10you Ponder the part of your
47:13feet and that must be on a consistent
47:16basis Ponder the path of your feet if
47:19you are going to be a better if you're
47:21going to be more skillful at this thing
47:22Ponder the part of your
47:24feet you can't just declare I'm going to
47:26be the skul whatever whatever whatever
47:28whatever and there's no routine to
47:29ensure that that's happening in your
47:31life Ponder the part of your feet so
47:33your day starts from the evening before
47:36and I want us to note this that whilst
47:38this may be maybe 600 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.
47:41it's far deeper than that what he's
47:42saying is this is that before you enter
47:45a new day before as it were you take
47:48charge and say well this is another um
47:51check that God has given to me another
47:53blank check I want to go back and check
47:56what did I do with the the previous
47:57blank check how is this adding up are
47:59there adjustments that needs to be made
48:01listen we live life per day not per
48:04month not per year per day once you make
48:06this adjustment listen I'm telling you
48:08you have the hack to life if you can
48:10make this adjustment if you can leave
48:12each day AR fresh each day AR fresh you
48:15have the hack to
48:17life why is it that he doesn't allow us
48:20pray one long prayer and we go for one
48:22month without praying why is it that he
48:24didn't give them Mana for one month and
48:26said listen all this Wala of you people
48:28um um angels having to carry bucket and
48:30be pouring down Mana listen let the
48:33angels rest and do some other things why
48:36were why was Angels would always being P
48:38angels having to go into their Bakery
48:40and produce new new man every and point
48:42and every morning they would go out and
48:44gather and they did it every single day
48:47why didn't God just give them for one
48:49month and say listen this is the
48:51provision of God you shall never have to
48:53gather again for one month and they
48:54would have said what kind of God is this
48:56and then he would have put his
48:57sustainance in it such that it didn't go
48:59bad why was it that everything went bad
49:01by the next morning
49:04why there's a principle inside why is it

50:08planted at night the seed of every new
50:11day is planted at night the second thing
50:14you see there is this is that you
50:17establish the pattern for the day from
50:20the night you establish the pattern for
50:22the day from the
50:23night what I'm saying is this you don't
50:26rise up to face life without already
50:30deciding what that day looks like now
50:34these are simple things like I told you
50:36I'm not giving you Greek and Hebrew but
50:39I'm showing you the things that actually
50:41makes the
50:42difference between High Flyers and
50:44people that just seem to be mediocre in
50:46life is somebody getting what I'm saying
50:48these are the things that actually makes
50:49the difference the seed for every new
50:52day is planted in the night one of the
50:55things please listen to me you would
50:57observe everybody look at me here that
51:00the routine particularly of godliness
51:02throughout scripture is always
51:04associated with the night
51:06season it's always associated with the

53:47that God does not determine the
53:49measure that shows up or is manifested
53:52in your life the oil only stops flowing
53:55where the vessel stops
53:58God did not say I'll give you this
53:59measure then go and get this number of
54:01vessels to carry the measure that I will

54:08the fishes stopped entering the net when
54:10it started breaking is somebody getting

54:14God the supply is never the issue is

54:41forget all of those things it does not
54:43matter an other you can't study the word
54:45of God and not see the importance of
54:47time you can't you can't study it and
54:49not see the value that God places Upon
54:51Time and in this case as we are studying
54:53this morning the value of a 24-hour
54:55period that life is measured in 24 hours
54:58not years you don't say 365 days uh-uh
55:01it's a day that matters in the sight of

1:00:17need a lot of time to commute to church

1:00:21your cloth are you getting this and you
1:00:23put it up on the hanger waiting such
1:00:25that you would AB devate the time you
1:00:26use in preparation for church in the
1:00:29same way your spirit can prepare your
1:00:32day it says my spirit made diligent
1:00:34search there are ways I'm meant to go
1:00:36are you following what I'm saying here
1:00:37there are paths are meant to take there
1:00:39are things are meant to do and my spirit

1:00:43and over again please everybody you have

1:02:11innermost being is yielding up the
1:02:15directions the instructions that are
1:02:18required and you know like Bishop Davido
1:02:20put it he said he didn't just call it
1:02:22night he called it night Seasons which
1:02:24means see night periods as chosis they
1:02:28are seasons of life and I told you
1:02:30something about the chyros that once you
1:02:32take advantage of a chyros he determines
1:02:34without fail what happens in the Kronos
1:02:36of your life if you can take advantage
1:02:39of the night season the day will ELD
1:02:41itself it will align
1:02:44itself is somebody still here how many
1:02:47of you notice that the only time that we
1:02:50are consciously I mean as it were told
1:02:53that Jesus and we have to we have to
1:02:56what's the word now let me look for the
1:02:58right word now we have to extrapolate

1:03:04that he prayed during the day was that
1:03:06the disciples were watching him pray and
1:03:07they said Lord teach us to pray do you

1:05:23said initially I thought he was groaning

1:05:28spirit but you see the thing with
1:05:30groaning in the spirit is after a while
1:05:32at least the Holy Ghost will release you

1:05:41on why do I think that's what many of
1:05:43you do at watch watch pray you just put
1:05:46it there and then preacher is saying now

1:07:01the people was he spending productive
1:07:04time doing what he should have done are
1:07:07you following what I'm saying here so
1:07:09the day is broken into two compartments
1:07:11evening and what morning we spend time
1:07:15to S the right seeds in that evening
1:07:18period are you following what I'm saying
1:07:19here we receive Express instructions we
1:07:23are realigned with his plans and counsel
1:07:25for for our lives and we step out with a
1:07:27sense of boldness to attack life to
1:07:30attack life and this is the confidence
1:07:33we have that life compounds so it may
1:07:35look like a little step but you know
1:07:37this thing is compounding are you f what

1:07:42this in the scheme of things it is
1:07:45something it is something in the scheme
1:07:47of things it's compounding into that
1:07:49great future that you're desirous of now

1:07:59well two things very quickly is much of

1:08:04prayers much of prayers and why are we
1:08:07spending so much why must we give so
1:08:10great attention to prayers why must you
1:08:14spend the night
1:08:16seasons why must you spend it in prayer
1:08:19I already showed you Jacob save that we
1:08:21are told of that prayer Journey we would
1:08:24have seen victory in the day and assumed
1:08:26that it was just the Providence of God
1:08:29are you following what I'm saying here
1:08:30You' have assumed that it was just the
1:08:32hand of God but there was something that
1:08:34happened in that night season that a man
1:08:36who was on a mous quest to kill his
1:08:39brother he when he left his house he
1:08:42still swore I'll kill this jacob guy but
1:08:45by the time he saw him face to face
1:08:48something came upon him he could not
1:08:50explain all of a sudden he was the one
1:08:52looking for how to help his brother the
1:08:55same person that took the bat right from
1:08:56him the same person that he had sworn
1:08:58for years he was going to kill is
1:09:01somebody getting what I'm saying here we
1:09:03can change the order of the day the
1:09:05outcome of the day by Bended Knees at
1:09:07night this is so
1:09:09important so you have to give attention
1:09:12to the place of prayer Jesus says men
1:09:15ought always to pray please I want to
1:09:18beg us because I realized this and let's
1:09:20be very factual with ourselves I realize
1:09:23that many times because of Prayer people
1:09:25don't have prayer
1:09:27altars I realize that many times because
1:09:30there's one prayer alar or the other one
1:09:32that you're joining many people by
1:09:33themselves for themselves the discipline
1:09:36of prayer is completely gone from their
1:09:38lives many of you will remember your
1:09:40mothers how they spent in midnight 12
1:09:42midnight to 3:00 a.m. you wake up and
1:09:44hear them praying for you and sometimes
1:09:46you are wondering listen I don't need
1:09:48pray I'm okay there's no issue in my
1:09:50life again I'm okay many of you are
1:09:52where you are today because of the kind
1:09:54of prayers that were invested on your
1:09:56head many of you are where you
1:09:58are you can imagine if they didn't pray
1:10:00for you look at what you wanted to do
1:10:03look at the life you wanted to live or
1:10:05the life you lived before they caught
1:10:07you God caught you imagine imagine there
1:10:10was no prayer Bank hanging over your
1:10:12head are you following what I'm saying
1:10:13here and I personally believe sincerely
1:10:15speaking listen I personally believe
1:10:18that one of the disciplines that is
1:10:19gradually being eroded in the body of
1:10:21Christ is the discipline of personal
1:10:23prayers it's either of two things it's
1:10:25either we have been made prayer this
1:10:27kind of lovely social media um um what's
1:10:30it called now thing you know and
1:10:33everybody's recording themselves praying
1:10:35and three guys hold
1:10:38themselves and and all of a sudden we we
1:10:41seem to have built a beautiful brand out
1:10:44of prayer are you getting what I'm
1:10:46saying here I'm not realizing that the
1:10:48Bible says when you enter into your
1:10:49closet and no man sees you which means
1:10:51this thing has nothing to do with the
1:10:53eyes of the external world you lock your
1:10:55your door by yourself no conversation
1:10:57with nobody 1 hour before the Lord is
1:10:59somebody getting what I'm saying here 1
1:11:01hour before the Lord 2 hours before the
1:11:03Lord face flat before the Lord kneeling
1:11:05before the Lord somebody says what will
1:11:07I be doing throughout that entire period
1:11:09Well they asked Lord teach us to pray
1:11:11then he gave them an order to prayer he
1:11:13says number one let devotion be at the
1:11:15top of your prayer let intercession be
1:11:17next and then let supplication be last
1:11:20which means the order in which you can
1:11:22say I have a prayer life nobody if you
1:11:25turn it is not a prayer life the real
1:11:27order is fellowship with God are you
1:11:29following what I'm saying here which
1:11:30means I'm spending time there with tears
1:11:32rolling down my eyes I love you Jesus
1:11:35just singing beautiful songs to him
1:11:36praying in the Holy Ghost not making
1:11:39requests or anything being edified are
1:11:40you getting what I'm saying here just
1:11:42praying in the spirit there and then I
1:11:44take on intercessory points of prayer
1:11:47and my supplication is last this is what
1:11:49determines a prayer
1:11:51life you can't go into prayer with seven
1:11:54prayer points now now father in the name
