2. 0:03I could have saved a life that day but I
3. 0:05chose to look the other way it wasn't
4. 0:08that I didn't care I had the time and I
5. 0:11was
6. 0:12there but I didn't want to seem a fool
7. 0:16or argue over a safety rule I knew he
8. 0:19had done the job before if I spoke up he
9. 0:22might get
10. 0:23sore the chances didn't seem that bad I
11. 0:26had done the same he knew I had
12. 0:30so I shook my head and walked by he knew
13. 0:33the rest as well as I he took the chance
14. 0:36I closed an eye and with that act I let
15. 0:40him
16. 0:43die I could have saved a life that day
17. 0:47but I chose to look the other
18. 0:49way now every time I see his wife I know
19. 0:53I should have saved his
20. 0:55life that guilt is something I must bear
21. 0:59but isn't something you need to share if
22. 1:03you see a risk that others take that
23. 1:06puts their health or life at stake the
24. 1:09question asked or thing you say could
25. 1:13help them live another day if you see a
26. 1:16risk and walk away then hope you never
27. 1:19have to say I could have saved a life
28. 1:21that
29. 1:22day but I chose to look the other way
