- 0:00Apologizing to God is not enough. They
- 0:02are not telling us the whole truth.
- 0:04They're promising you blessing in
- 0:06iniquity, it will not work.
- 0:08>> The God of the Bible, no. Unless you're
- 0:11talking about Satan.
- 0:12>> Welcome to Dominion Mandates, a platform
- 0:14where we awaken a deep hunger for the
- 0:16pursuit of God and equip believers to
- 0:18dominate their world for Christ. Here we
- 0:20dive into the word of God, explore
- 0:22timeless truth, and ignite a passion for
- 0:24spiritual growth, purpose, and kingdom
- 0:26influence. This is not just another
- 0:27channel. It's a movement. That's what I
- 0:29came tonight to do. So,
- 0:32two major ingredients are required to
- 0:35produce genuine salvation. Two major
- 0:38ingredients. Then there's a third one
- 0:40that you add to seal it.
- 0:47Uh Hebrews chapter 6, let me read for
- 0:50you. These are foundational doctrines of
- 0:53Christianity. Watch. Therefore, living
- 0:55the principles of the doctrines of
- 0:57Christ. That what he's calling the the
- 0:59elementary or the foundation
- 1:02and let us go to perfection. Perfection
- 1:04is maturity.
- 1:07Once you start moving to maturity, you
- 1:08are now doing development. Well, let's
- 1:10deal with foundation. Not laying again.
- 1:13You see the first foundation is the
- 1:15foundation of what? Repentance from dead
- 1:18works. What does it mean for dead works?
- 1:20Sin. Things that kill people. Things
- 1:22that people do that leads to death.
- 1:26things that people do that brings God's
- 1:29judgment. Things that people do that
- 1:31bring the w of God. Things that people
- 1:32do to violate God's moral laws.
- 1:37The first foundation if you build the
- 1:39Christian life or your building is going
- 1:41to be right is the foundation of
- 1:43repentance. There is no moving an inch
- 1:45until you get it right.
- 1:49The second foundation which combines
- 1:52with repentance to create salvation is
- 1:54faith towards God. Do you see it? You
- 1:58repent for your sins. Then you put your
- 2:00faith in the finished work of Christ.
- 2:02Watch what is going on with the today's
- 2:04church. I want you to know why we're
- 2:05talking about reformation. And this
- 2:07final reformation is for foundation
- 2:09built all the way up. You can't start
- 2:11building from the roof because a lot of
- 2:13mess has happened. [snorts]
- 2:19When it comes to salvation,
- 2:22to get the foundation right, you start
- 2:24with these two.
- 2:26What is going on today? They just tell
- 2:28you, "Believe in Jesus. Accept Jesus
- 2:30into your life." And so they remove
- 2:32repentance. And so what happens that
- 2:34people move from the world into the
- 2:36church unchanged, the same old person.
- 2:39Meanwhile, if anyone is in Christ, he is
- 2:42what? A new creation.
- 2:46So the ingredients the Holy Spirit needs
- 2:48to create a brand new man is missing and
- 2:51he's not able to do that. The spirit of
- 2:53God is real active ingredients but he
- 2:56needs repentance mixed with faith in God
- 3:00to produce a new creation.
- 3:04Okay. It is God that created you is it
- 3:05not? Who created you? God or your
- 3:08parents?
- 3:09>> God.
- 3:10>> Are you sure your parents didn't create?
- 3:12>> No. My parents rocket. They gave birth
- 3:14to me. But God created me.
- 3:15>> No. No. I need to be sure. Who created
- 3:17you? Your parents or God?
- 3:18>> God.
- 3:19>> God. Are you sure of that?
- 3:22>> Yes sir. But you see your parents
- 3:24provided two elements? Your mom provided
- 3:27the egg, the ovary. Your father provided
- 3:29the seed that fertilized the ovary. That
- 3:32is what the parents that are leading
- 3:34people to Christ. The spiritual people,
- 3:37brothers and sisters trying to win
- 3:39people to Christ must provide them. If
- 3:42any of those ingredients is missing, a
- 3:44human life will not be created.
- 3:49What if it's only egg? What you're going
- 3:51to see is blood every end of the month.
- 3:53Blood, blood, blood. You call it period.
- 3:55Anytime you see that blood, that's a
- 3:57life that was not created.
- 4:00And this what we seen all over the
- 4:02church. Blood, blood, blood, blood.
- 4:04There's an attempt, but it doesn't
- 4:06produce a result.
- 4:10Every time you make it only the male
- 4:13whatever what you're going to be seeing
- 4:14is milk milky stuff spam spam spam no
- 4:19charge
- 4:24is the same thing with the spiritual
- 4:25life.
- 4:29So what you have is a group of preachers
- 4:31that have emerged in the last days only
- 4:33talking about grace grace. grace.
- 4:40Excuse me.
- 4:42Maybe I should read that scripture
- 4:43again. Is it not John 1:17? Please put
- 4:46it up. The law came by Moses. So they
- 4:48want to get rid of the law. Okay. At
- 4:50least provide the two things that Jesus
- 4:52provided.
- 4:55Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
- 5:02Truth is what when preached will produce
- 5:05conviction and repentance.
- 5:11Then grace will provide the remission of
- 5:14sin and salvation.
- 5:20So people are no more repenting.
- 5:23People are going from one level of sin
- 5:25to another and getting hardened.
- 5:30You have not preached the gospel till
- 5:32you have preached repentance.
- 5:34Neither have you preached the gospel
- 5:36till you have preached the cross.
- 5:44And you will not help the people even if
- 5:46they give you a thousand years to be
- 5:47preaching to them. You see, I don't want
- 5:49anybody who have sat through who have
- 5:53sat under us to end up going to hell.
- 5:56And I don't want anybody who has been
- 5:58through this. But you know when I go to
- 5:59a doctor, I want to be treated. I don't
- 6:02want you to massage my sickness. I want
- 6:05to be fine.
- 6:09I don't want you to give me fake drugs.
- 6:11You see, when I go to church, I'm I'm
- 6:13not coming to church. I come to church
- 6:14for salvation. I don't want you to give
- 6:15me fake gospel,
- 6:20give me fake drugs.
- 6:26because I want to be saved. I want to be
- 6:28treated. I want to be well
- 6:36because the people that are creating the
- 6:37confusion are telling you is the gospel
- 6:39of grace. You don't need repentance.
- 6:40This is the authority of grace. Now it's
- 6:42Paul that is teaching. They say it's
- 6:43Paul that they are following.
- 6:46We are following Paul and Pis. See Paul
- 6:48talking that what he preached everywhere
- 6:51both to Jews and to the Gentiles [music]
- 6:53is repentance towards God and what faith
- 6:57in our Lord Jesus Christ. I showed you
- 6:58in the foundational doctrines that after
- 7:00repentance from sin and dead works then
- 7:03you put your faith in Christ then you
- 7:07are saved.
- 7:18If not, what you will have is a person
- 7:20that just moved from the world to
- 7:21church, join church, but has not joined
- 7:23heaven,
- 7:25has not joined God's kingdom.
- 7:34And in the great commission Luke 24, and
- 7:37he said to them, this is what Jesus was
- 7:38explaining how to preach to his
- 7:40disciples. He said thus it is written
- 7:42thus he behold Christ to suffer to rise
- 7:45from the dead the third day watch
- 7:48that repentance and what the remission
- 7:51of sin be preached in his name among all
- 7:54nations the man giving us the commission
- 7:56what we are to preach
- 7:59you preach for people to repent
- 8:02then you they put their faith in the
- 8:04sacrifice remember how sin is atoned for
- 8:07I've given you blood on the altar to
- 8:09make atonement for sin Then it is when
- 8:11you explain that they can have faith in
- 8:13what Christ has done for them.
- 8:18So now what you have is diagnosis and
- 8:20cure.
- 8:27And failure to do this is why we now
- 8:29have corrupt Christianity, corrupt
- 8:31pastors, corrupt because they have not
- 8:33changed.
- 8:38That brings me to a second point. What
- 8:41are the ingredients of repentance? Four
- 8:43elements. Genuine repentance has four
- 8:46elements. Okay, you put up proverbs 28
- 8:49verse
- 8:5013. You see two of the elements there.
- 8:55He that coverth his sin shall not
- 8:56prosper. He that confessth and forsaketh
- 8:59them. Two of them are mentioned here. Uh
- 9:02but I wanted to show them godly sorrow
- 9:05brings repentance
- 9:08is different from the sorrow of this
- 9:10world.
- 9:12Sorrow of this world is regret.
- 9:14They catch arm robbers. They regret that
- 9:16they were caught. They are not sorry for
- 9:18people they have killed. They are not
- 9:20sorry for all the damages they have
- 9:21caused. They are just sorry that they
- 9:23are caught.
- 9:25That's not repentance.
- 9:28Don't wait till you're caught before you
- 9:29repent. For most people, it's too late.
- 9:33You watch
- 9:36these two brothers, Esau and Jacob.
- 9:40Jacob said, "Sell your betright." The
- 9:42Bible say he sold his bed right, ate a
- 9:44pot of porridge and walked away like
- 9:47nothing happened. No remorse, no
- 9:49nothing. But the day the inheritance
- 9:51will be shared. The inheritance went to
- 9:53Jacob, that's the day he started crying.
- 9:55That one God does not accept.
- 9:58Everybody hell is crying now. But it's
- 9:59no more repentance. They're crying
- 10:01because they are now in punishment.
- 10:07So the first thing in repentance is
- 10:08godly sorrow.
- 10:11Now I rejoice that you were made sorry.
- 10:14But that you were sorrow to repentance.
- 10:16For you were made sorry after a godly
- 10:18manner that you might receive you might
- 10:21receive damage by us in nothing. For
- 10:24godly sorrow walketh repentance to
- 10:27salvation, not to be repented of, but
- 10:30the sorrow of the world walketh death.
- 10:34Godly sorrow is not just regret.
- 10:36Somebody's truly sorry.
- 10:40And you see a genuine repentance is not
- 10:44just based on what sin did to you.
- 10:52I've been drinking, getting drunk, and
- 10:53now I had an accident and broke my leg.
- 10:55So, you are sorry for your leg that is
- 10:57broken. No, genuine repentance first of
- 10:59all is sorry towards how your sin has
- 11:01provoked God. The damages you have done
- 11:03to his heart. Person that loves you,
- 11:05that made you. So, that makes you come
- 11:08before him with that's what that
- 11:10prodigal son was saying. I've seen
- 11:12against heaven and against thee. When
- 11:14David was repenting in Psalm 51, he
- 11:16said, "Against thee and only thee have I
- 11:19done this evil." Second thing, genuine
- 11:22repentance also considers what your sin
- 11:24has done to other people.
- 11:29It is at the third level you can look at
- 11:30what he may have cost you.
- 11:34And you know people can repent before
- 11:36before their consequences arrive. So at
- 11:38that moment they may not have seen the
- 11:40result in their own life.
- 11:44If you're waiting till you see the
- 11:45damage, sometimes you're waiting for too
- 11:47long.
- 11:50So the first principle of repentance is
- 11:52godly sorrow. If you say sorry but you
- 11:55are not sorry as if you do confession
- 11:57but you're not sorry, you have not
- 11:59repented.
- 12:02I hope you know how sometimes parents
- 12:04want to settle quarry. They said tell
- 12:05your brother you are sorry that maybe
- 12:08agree. Tell him that you're sorry. It's
- 12:09okay. Sorry you're not sorry.
- 12:14You don't want to be flogged. So,
- 12:17and then when your parents are not
- 12:18around, you go and give the guy enough.
- 12:23So, the first principle of repentance is
- 12:25godly sorrow. Godly sorrow that David
- 12:28said, a broken and a contrite heart, God
- 12:30will never bypass.
- 12:35Second is confession. Then you confess
- 12:37it to God.
- 12:43and ask for his forgiveness.
- 12:47You apologize to him. And in confession,
- 12:50what you do is acknowledge your sin and
- 12:52then ask for forgiveness. If you justify
- 12:55your sin, you have not repented. If you
- 12:57go there and say it's because that boy
- 12:59came and slept in our house, that's why
- 13:00I fell. You have not repented. Stop
- 13:02giving excuses for your sin. You make
- 13:04excuses for your sin, you have not
- 13:05repented. You find a way to explain away
- 13:08your sin. You are not repented.
- 13:12Stop making excuses for your sins.
- 13:15Acknowledge them that you did wrong and
- 13:17then ask for God's mercy. The third key
- 13:20to repentance is what that proverbs was
- 13:22saying. He that confessed and forsake
- 13:25it, then you have to renounce turn one.
- 13:28You know what is called 180° turn. You
- 13:31turn the other you turn away from those
- 13:33sins. You break free from them. That
- 13:35means you stop doing it.
- 13:38So coming to the altar to tell God sorry
- 13:40then you go back and continue for where
- 13:42you stop is not repentance. You see
- 13:44these are the deceptions of today's
- 13:46church and Christianity.
- 13:55He that confessed and forsake it will
- 13:58have mercy.
- 14:10What if somebody is sleeping with a
- 14:12married woman, maybe you are even
- 14:13messing around, maybe the woman gives
- 14:15you money, so you are I don't know what
- 14:18they call them.
- 14:20And you hear the word of God, you come
- 14:22and you come to the altar and tell God
- 14:24how sorry you are. How did I get myself?
- 14:26I'm so I'm so heartbroken. I'm shattered
- 14:28that God, please get me. Forgive me.
- 14:31cleanse me. Get me out of this. And then
- 14:33the service end. You return back to her
- 14:35house.
- 14:37Are you crazy? You cannot go back there.
- 14:40It's from there to a new accommodation.
- 14:42I don't know where I will sleep. You
- 14:44don't have to know
- 14:47if I have to squat for a while. I don't
- 14:48care. One lady told me, "But my
- 14:51properties are still in his house." I
- 14:54said, "Take somebody with you and go
- 14:56during the day to pick your properties.
- 14:58Take somebody with you.
- 15:04The secret of sin, the strength, the
- 15:06power of sin is secrecy. As long as you
- 15:09provide the right environment, it
- 15:10becomes so overwhelming and people think
- 15:12this thing is so powerful, I can't stop.
- 15:14No.
- 15:15Destroy the habitat you created for it.
- 15:19Introduce accountability into your word
- 15:20and you see that that thing is not as
- 15:22powerful as you think.
- 15:26Cuz I remember a girl that was telling a
- 15:28story of her repenting, giving her life
- 15:30to Christ. He said, "But I now went, you
- 15:32know, I didn't have a commission. I just
- 15:34just went at least let me take my
- 15:35things." And he was begging me. He said,
- 15:37"Please." And I said, "No, I don't want
- 15:39this nonsense again." Then the guy
- 15:41nailed down. I held her on the waist. He
- 15:43said, "It's just this one. Only one one
- 15:46just once."
- 15:50He said, "And I decided to just pity him
- 15:53now.
- 16:06these three usually solves the problem.
- 16:09Godly sorrow, confession and then turn
- 16:11away from that sin. But there is a
- 16:14fourth element in repentance. Modern
- 16:16church hardly talk about it. In many
- 16:18situations you have to do it. In some
- 16:20situations there's very little that can
- 16:23be done. the damages have been done. It
- 16:25is you know but in many situation it is
- 16:28called making amends. It's called
- 16:31restitution.
- 16:37Everybody in the front lift up your
- 16:38hands. You can close your eyes. We all
- 16:41worshiping and meet close. Then this
- 16:43phone disappears.
- 16:47Now open your eyes.
- 16:51I just got a new phone
- 16:56but tomorrow I repent
- 17:02when you finish repenting. You see the
- 17:03same way you collected the phone you go
- 17:06and do what and return. You said how you
- 17:09tell them is different. There are some
- 17:11situations where you know ah you know
- 17:14yesterday's service we found a missing
- 17:17phone
- 17:19after the people left we actually and we
- 17:21be looking for and it looks like it's
- 17:23from among three of you. Can you check
- 17:29but there's a type of damage I will have
- 17:30done to you. I need to approach you and
- 17:34tell you sorry apologizing to God is not
- 17:37enough.
- 17:41Clap. [applause]
- 17:47Let me tell you guys why I'm teaching
- 17:49you this one. Security so that no matter
- 17:52what happens, you make heaven. But I
- 17:54will also tell you, you see that
- 17:55prosperity that you guys are looking for
- 17:57and all the success. The first step to
- 18:00restoration is repentance.
- 18:03They are not telling us the whole truth.
- 18:05They're promising you blessing in
- 18:07iniquity. He will not work.
- 18:09>> The God of the Bible. No. Unless you're
- 18:12talking about Satan.
- 18:25Maybe power was in my hand. I dispossess
- 18:28you of your land, brutalize you because
- 18:31I am just a senator, governor, whatever.
- 18:34And I want to repent. and I've heard the
- 18:37gospel. I tell Jesus, "I'm sorry. I've
- 18:39given you my life. Return the man's
- 18:42land. You can't finish giving your life
- 18:43to Jesus and be living on the man's
- 18:45land." And he's at home crying, asking
- 18:47God for justice. Divine justice will
- 18:50still catch you.
- 18:55[applause] There's power in the gospel.
- 18:57If we will preach it, if we will preach
- 18:59it correctly, there's power. The Bible
- 19:01said the gospel is the power of God unto
- 19:04what?
- 19:08You've been with me PCJ. I'm leading
- 19:10people to Christ. Blind eyes are
- 19:11opening. As you lead them through
- 19:13genuine repentance, the power of Satan
- 19:15start breaking off.
- 19:19We have not started praying for the
- 19:20sickness.
- 19:30You see, because there are certain
- 19:31things some of us have doubled it, but
- 19:32we have damaged another person's life.
- 19:34Okay, you have repented, but there is a
- 19:37boy
- 19:38and it's your child, but you deny the
- 19:40girl. Oh, you say it's not your baby.
- 19:42It's not. Let's assume you did that when
- 19:44you were living in your parents house.
- 19:45Let's assume you did that because you
- 19:46were afraid at that time. Let's assume
- 19:48you threw away that baby because you
- 19:50were a single girl. You were afraid of
- 19:52what your parents will do. Now that you
- 19:53have known Christ, go back and find that
- 19:55baby and become a mother to that child.
- 19:57If not that child is going to go through
- 19:59life causing whosoever get birth to
- 20:02going through whatever and the mother is
- 20:03now a pastor the mother is now spirit
- 20:05field the mother is in church shouting
- 20:07hallelujah mean you have created a
- 20:08problem to society a child that is going
- 20:10to end up a prostitute end up with no no
- 20:13go back and take that responsibility and
- 20:16raise your child
- 20:25of our pastors had a 14 year old boy
- 20:27because he denied the boy, denied the
- 20:28mother. One day he had this he came, he
- 20:31said, "How will I come out in tell them
- 20:34I had a boy out of?" I said, "Those are
- 20:36the people that are saints, not the ones
- 20:38who cover their sins."
- 20:41Saints were once sinners.
- 20:47I said, "Go and bring your boy."
- 20:50Apologize to the mother. Apologize to
- 20:52the boy. Tell the boy, I was a young
- 20:54boy. like I didn't know how to go about
- 20:56I was confused but because of Jesus the
- 20:58truth came into me that's why I have
- 21:00came back for you and I'm sorry that boy
- 21:02will also give his life to Christ if he
- 21:04knows that is Jesus coming into your
- 21:06life that restored his father to him
- 21:11then if you go you're jumping up and
- 21:12down your whatever maybe one day he even
- 21:16grows up to find out you say you see now
- 21:23the world is looking for authenticity
- 21:25from the church. Authenticity is not
- 21:28that I've never made a mistake.
- 21:29Authenticity is that I'm man enough
- 21:32to own to my mistakes and take care of
- 21:35business.
- 21:37That's why God loves David.
- 21:43You know what will happen to our society
- 21:44when we restore this truth?
- 21:49We say we have 100 million Christians
- 21:51and uh we have churches everywhere. And
- 21:54society is getting worse. What is the
- 21:56problem?
- 21:59The ones who are in Christ and the ones
- 22:01who are in the world, there is no
- 22:02difference.
- 22:03You meet the ones in Christ, they are so
- 22:05wicked and mean. You meet the one
- 22:07sometimes you where is where are we
- 22:09going to go? No. A million times no.
- 22:12It's time to restore this. That's why
- 22:13I'm telling you, you guys that are
- 22:15sitting down learning all this, you are
- 22:16the future of the church. Don't keep it
- 22:19to yourself. when you leave here, go
- 22:21find 12 people, one 20 people and start
- 22:22teaching the truth all over again. We
- 22:25need a word explosion. We need a
- 22:27revolution of truth.
- 22:44Where is that song that you sing? My
- 22:46life is yours. I just say yes.
- 22:52>> Show me the way.
- 22:55>> Okay. [music] Okay. Okay. Just just be
- 22:56playing this small small. Let me see if
- 22:58I can clean up. I want to give you one
- 23:01very deadly case study and I'll end.
- 23:07The nation of Israel broke into two. We
- 23:10had the kingdom of Judah and the kingdom
- 23:11of Israel because of [music] sin. The
- 23:14founder of the kingdom of Israel is a
- 23:16king called Geroban. He led the
- 23:17foundation in idolatry. It took a couple
- 23:19[music] of years, the thing exploded so
- 23:21bad. One of the worst king that they had
- 23:23was Ahab and Jezebel. And it wasn't long
- 23:26after that king God dealt with all the
- 23:28nonsense, idolatry and all that. He
- 23:30brought the king of Assyria to wipe out
- 23:33that nation. Today we talk about the 10
- 23:35missing tribes of Israel. They are the
- 23:37northern tribe. I mean they are the
- 23:39these guys. He carried them. The
- 23:40northern tribe scattered them all over.
- 23:42some of them as far as Russia and many
- 23:44other countries and they cease to exist
- 23:47as a nation.
- 23:49Sin has consequences
- 23:52and God's hope now is Judah and he kept
- 23:55Judah because of the covenant he made
- 23:56with David and because Jesus was going
- 23:59to come through that lineage.
- 24:01He didn't want anything to go wrong with
- 24:02them. The pioneer has been David and
- 24:06then now Solomon and then things [music]
- 24:08broke up but he kept Judah. The first
- 24:11king after the breakup is Jeroboam.
- 24:16But these young kings
- 24:19some of them will come up. They were
- 24:20righteous kings. They will do well. Some
- 24:22will come they are evil. Now in Israel
- 24:25not one good king except except [music]
- 24:28the man who brought reform called
- 24:31uh what's his name? Huh?
- 24:33No, not Josiah. There was no Josiah in
- 24:35Israel. The man that killed Jezebel
- 24:38wiped out Jo, the only good king of all
- 24:41the kings under the wave. [music]
- 24:45So anytime you're joining a rebellion,
- 24:47you have not counted the cost. Where
- 24:50[music] will this lead to? It's easy to
- 24:52join Lucifer when his mouth is sounding
- 24:55sweet. Where is he going to be leading
- 24:58us? A lot of lives were ruined. Millions
- 25:00of people [music] were destroyed because
- 25:02of one man's rebellion.
- 25:12But Judah watched how Israel was
- 25:15destroyed
- 25:17and they kept telling themselves we are
- 25:19impregnable. We cannot be destroyed
- 25:21because you know the [snorts] temple of
- 25:24God is in our mid. Solomon's temple is
- 25:26here and ark of God is here. It's not
- 25:28possible.
- 25:30And the Islam is behaving. And God
- 25:32raised prophets upon prophets after
- 25:34prophets, prophets after warning them.
- 25:38See, one of the things you should do
- 25:39when you study the Bible is when you are
- 25:41studying about kings, study the prophets
- 25:43that operated during those days. Yeah.
- 25:46You will see in the day of Uziah, that's
- 25:49king, one of the kings of Judah. You see
- 25:51Isaiah emerged. See that? So if I
- 25:55mention Ahab, you will know it is
- 25:56Elijah. I Elisha. Okay. If I mention
- 26:00David, you know his prophets like Netan
- 26:02the prophet. I mention Saul, you know it
- 26:05was Samuel.
- 26:06And you watch the messages they were
- 26:08giving to a generation that was perverse
- 26:11and evil.
- 26:19[music]
- 26:24And this what until he got to the time
- 26:26of Jeremiah the prophet. Jeremiah was a
- 26:29weeping prophet. He had a lot of crying
- 26:30and we because his messages were about
- 26:33the destruction of Judah and he did not
- 26:36want Judah to be destroyed. [music] He
- 26:38will go pray for them, plead with them.
- 26:40But God will said go warn them if they
- 26:42will listen. But the kings in those days
- 26:45[music] will not listen. I want to give
- 26:47you the names of a few kings.
- 26:52The reason is because we're now in the
- 26:53time of reforms and we're in the time of
- 26:56the final reforms. I want to show you
- 26:58the final revival that is Judah, the
- 27:00kingdom of Judah had.
- 27:04This is where the countdown started.
- 27:06Hezekiah.
- 27:11Man gave birth to Ammon.
- 27:16Then Ammon gave birth to [music] I want
- 27:19to list to another good king called
- 27:21Josiah.
- 27:23Josiah is the last good king. I want you
- 27:25to circle this. There's something I want
- 27:27you to
- 27:31This is the last revival and reform that
- 27:34Israel had. Bad.
- 27:38Bad.
- 27:41This guy was the last revival that
- 27:44Israel had after him. Watch these five
- 27:47names.
- 27:52Jehidah.
- 27:55Jehovah has
- 28:00then you have Jehovah king.
- 28:09Then you have
- 28:11Joho.
- 28:13[music]
- 28:16You can call it Johakin again, but it's
- 28:18C H I N. The other one is K I M. So
- 28:23then you have Zedekiah
- 28:26[music]
- 28:30and then finally you have Gadelia.
- 28:38You see these last five kings
- 28:41were
- 28:43now ruling in the time of judgment.
- 28:46Reformation has ended. Josiah was the
- 28:48last reformer, last good king that was
- 28:51like David and after him everything
- 28:54broke down till the temple Babylonians
- 28:57now came destroy the temple killed off
- 29:01the priest
- 29:03you know dethroned the kings carried
- 29:04them to Babylon and then each time they
- 29:07remove a king they will put somebody
- 29:08else all those five where the
- 29:09replacement kings they put somebody else
- 29:11then later they come something will go
- 29:13wrong with that one they will come and
- 29:14put another person sometimes they will
- 29:16come back and kill the and they put
- 29:17there and destroy him, put another
- 29:19person until
- 29:22everything was completely ruined. Now
- 29:25you will notice that when the judgment
- 29:26started, God did not destroy everything
- 29:28at once because of one quality that God
- 29:31has. I need to read this for you.
- 29:34I need to read this for you.
- 29:38Ezekiel chapter 18 verse 21- 24
- 29:53if the wicked will turn from his sins
- 29:56that he has committed
- 29:58keep my statutes and do what was right
- 30:01and lawful. So after repentance, you
- 30:03have to start doing the righteous things
- 30:04that you do and change and now start
- 30:07doing what is right. If not the
- 30:10repentance is not real. Keep all my
- 30:13statutes. Do that which is loveful and
- 30:14right. He shall surely live. He shall
- 30:17not die. Do you see repentance reverses
- 30:19judgment?
- 30:23Verse 22. All his transgressions that he
- 30:26has committed, they shall not be
- 30:27mentioned unto him. In his righteousness
- 30:30that he has done, he shall live.
- 30:34God forgives and wipes out all the sins
- 30:36he has committed in the past. Have I any
- 30:39pleasure at all that the wicked should
- 30:41die. God is saying, I have no pleasure
- 30:43in the death of the wicked. I know when
- 30:45you see some wicked people, YOU WANT
- 30:46THEM TO PERISH. YOU WANT THEM AND YOU
- 30:49WONDER WHY GOD IS SLOW in destroying
- 30:51them.
- 30:55Have I any pleasure that the wicked
- 30:58should die, said the Lord, and not that
- 31:02he should return from his ways and live.
- 31:03This is what he wants, that he will
- 31:05repent and live. Verse 23,
- 31:08when the righteous man turns away from
- 31:10his righteousness and commits iniquity,
- 31:12and does according to the abomination
- 31:13that the wicked man does, shall he live?
- 31:16God is telling you, if a righteous man
- 31:18turns away, he will also perish.
- 31:21And all the righteousness he has done in
- 31:22the past will be forgi forgotten.
- 31:25All his righteousness that he has done
- 31:26shall be shall not be mentioned. In his
- 31:29trespass that he has trespassed in his
- 31:32sin that he has seen in them he shall
- 31:34die. So a man that started well can end
- 31:37up going back and go to hell and perish.
- 31:40A man that started wrongly can repent
- 31:43and leave.
- 31:47Add one more verse. when the righteous
- 31:52Yeah. Verse 25. Yet the children of Is
- 31:55said the way of the Lord is not equal.
- 31:58Now go to verse 30 and see something.
- 32:04The Jews had problem with this. They
- 32:05said, "Oh, somebody has done evil
- 32:07repents. You forgive him like that." And
- 32:08then a person have been doing all the
- 32:10right thing now chooses to backslide and
- 32:12start doing bad things. You let him
- 32:14perish. This is not right. Look at how
- 32:17God answered it. Therefore, I will judge
- 32:19you, oh house of Israel, every one of
- 32:20you, according to his ways, said the
- 32:22Lord. Repent. Turn yourself on your
- 32:25transgression, so iniquity shall not be
- 32:28your reign.
- 32:34Add the next verse.
- 32:37Cast away from you all your
- 32:39transgression. You see, he's not just
- 32:40saying, I'm sorry. STOP WHEREBY you have
- 32:43transgressed. Make you a new heart and a
- 32:46new spirit. For why will you die, oh
- 32:48house of Israel? Watch verse 32. For I
- 32:51have no pleasure in the death of him
- 32:53that died, said the Lord God. Wherefore
- 32:56turn yourself and live. These are the
- 32:59kind of messages they were preaching to
- 33:00the people of Judah. They did not
- 33:02listen.
- 33:05The worst king that they produced was a
- 33:08king called Manisa. The worst for Israel
- 33:12was uh Ahab and Jezebel. was for the
- 33:15people of Judah was Manessa. To start
- 33:18with, if you look, his father was
- 33:19Hezekiah, a righteous man, a godly man
- 33:21that brought reforms, did what was right
- 33:23in the sight of God. God helped him, God
- 33:25blessed him. I don't want to go into his
- 33:27story, but he made one mistake.
- 33:30While he was still alive, after he was
- 33:32sick and God healed him, gave him extra
- 33:3415 years, the king of Babylon heard
- 33:37about it and sent ambassadors to come
- 33:39and celebrate with him. Do you know what
- 33:41he did? He took them to the temple of
- 33:43God and showed them all the gold all the
- 33:45precious things. Took them to the
- 33:46treasures where Som buried where they
- 33:48used to bury gold underground storage
- 33:50for gold storage in Israel. In the days
- 33:53of Solomon, the king of Israel became
- 33:54the wonders of the ancient world. They
- 33:56have accumulated so much wealth. He was
- 33:58flouting his wealth.
- 34:03So these people went back and told the
- 34:04king of Babylon from that day they
- 34:06started plotting how to come and destroy
- 34:09the city and take all this gold. is a
- 34:11goal that they want but the problem why
- 34:14they can't do it that the God of Israel
- 34:15protects them. So a prophet came to meet
- 34:18Hezekiah after the ambassadors left. I
- 34:20said what did this where did those men
- 34:22come from? He said they came from a far
- 34:23country from the east. He said what did
- 34:24you show them? I showed them even the
- 34:26all the treasures of the palace. I was
- 34:28showing them all the things that we have
- 34:29that we are very the man said you a
- 34:32fool. He said days are coming when there
- 34:36will be an invasion of this country and
- 34:38they will strip your country of all
- 34:39these things. Do you know what he said?
- 34:42He said the word of the Lord is good as
- 34:43long as it doesn't happen in my time.
- 34:47A good king, a righteous king but very
- 34:49stupid according to him as long as his
- 34:52days are fine. Whatever happens to
- 34:54future generation, that's their own
- 34:55business. Be careful that the life you
- 34:58are living is not setting up your
- 35:00children and programming the future
- 35:02generation for a fall.
- 35:07But now his son rises to power and
- 35:11becomes evil
- 35:13and that his son is man.
- 35:17It keeps shocking me but I've studied
- 35:19the Bible. have seen it. How a
- 35:22generation serves God, lives a revival,
- 35:25powerful move of God and the children
- 35:27they are raising are there watching
- 35:29because of their parents they forced
- 35:30them to go to church. Some of them are
- 35:33pastor's children.
- 35:35They are children of men or women of God
- 35:38or people who move with God. And because
- 35:40they were forcing them to go, the
- 35:41parents assume that these children are
- 35:43disciples.
- 35:46Then until that parental influence is
- 35:48lifted, the child turns away. Maybe they
- 35:51leave home, they travel abroad or they
- 35:52go somewhere else where there is no.
- 35:56This is a young boy that was raised in
- 35:58church, raised in revival, raised at a
- 36:00time of righteousness. man
- 36:04raised in a Christian home
- 36:10and he goes bad but his corruption was
- 36:15now worse than people that were not born
- 36:17again before. He the Bible say he
- 36:19surpassed the hidden in wickedness.
- 36:22Yeah. Manister was 12 years old when he
- 36:24began to reign. He reigned for 55 years
- 36:29which is an anomaly. All the righteous
- 36:32kings, the longest ruled for 40 years.
- 36:34David 40, Solomon 40. All the righteous
- 36:36kings. Some righteous kings didn't rule
- 36:38rule for up to 40 years.
- 36:42All the bad kings rule very short. God
- 36:45will always judge them. He will not
- 36:46allow them stay there long. Let me give
- 36:48you an example.
- 36:51Ammon, bad guy.
- 36:54How long was he there? 2 years.
- 36:58Let's look at another bad guy. Johas,
- 37:00bad guy. How long was he in office? 11
- 37:03years. Let's look at another bad guy,
- 37:06Johakin. How long was he there? 3
- 37:08months.
- 37:10Oh, no, no, no. Johans was 3 months.
- 37:12Johakin was 11. 11 years. Then we come
- 37:16to Johakin, the second one. How long? 3
- 37:19months.
- 37:21What about Zedekiah? How long? 11 years.
- 37:24What about this one? He lasted a few
- 37:26weeks.
- 37:29He was assassinated.
- 37:47No bad king stayed long. God always
- 37:50sends judgment after them. But here is a
- 37:52bad king that ruled for 55 years longer
- 37:55than David.
- 37:57Why?
- 37:58Everyone say why I didn't blew my mind
- 38:01in the Bible for 7 years I did not make
- 38:04comment on it every time I read it I
- 38:06said eh is it that
- 38:11okay is exception to the rule
- 38:15wages of sin is death but exception
- 38:17sometimes it can be life
- 38:227 years I did not have the understanding
- 38:25I didn't know why and I had that
- 38:27question and I kept wondering what is
- 38:29God doing here
- 38:31then why will you even make him stay
- 38:34longer than David the good guys longer
- 38:36than Solomon
- 38:39let me show you guys a secret today this
- 38:41is what I want you to take home
- 38:44you see Messa began to rain he did what
- 38:47was evil in the sight of the lord like
- 38:48the abomination of the hidden he was
- 38:50copying all the bad that's unbeliever
- 38:52copy what they're doing and surpassed it
- 38:53whom the lord cast out before the
- 38:55children of Israel watch verse
- 38:57He built again the high places which
- 38:59Hezekiah his father has broken. So one
- 39:01generation did reforms another
- 39:03generation came back and brought back
- 39:04all the evil
- 39:06and he reared up altars to worship Bal
- 39:09made grooves worship all the host of
- 39:11heaven served them. He built altars in
- 39:14the house of the Lord. The one that
- 39:15anointed God most he went to the church
- 39:17the temple that Solomon brought idol
- 39:18inside. Build put idols inside that
- 39:21place whereof the Lord said in Jerusalem
- 39:23shall my name. You see why God allowed
- 39:24that temple to be destroyed.
- 39:28Verse 5, and he built altars for all the
- 39:31host of heaven in the two courts of the
- 39:33even inside God's house.
- 39:36You see the type of corruption we are
- 39:37now having in Nigerian Christianity.
- 39:41Watch verse six. And he caused his
- 39:43children to pass through fire. He was
- 39:45doing human sacrifice children in the
- 39:47valley of the son of Hmon. Also he
- 39:49observed times reading horoscope used
- 39:51enchantment. He was into charms. He was
- 39:53a wizard. He was into witchcraft. He
- 39:55dealt with familiar spirit. He with
- 39:57wizard. He wrought much evil in the
- 39:59sight of the Lord to provoke it. Son of
- 40:02a pastor.
- 40:09There is a lot of lessons here about
- 40:10succession. Just because you have a
- 40:13group of young men or pastors, you know,
- 40:15like our generation, pioneer generation,
- 40:17we're here pursuing righteousness.
- 40:19Pursue doesn't mean all of you are
- 40:20following.
- 40:23Some people will sit there listening to
- 40:24all this message. Ah, leave me a man
- 40:28will do what man has to do or forget
- 40:29all. That's how Judah sat under Jesus
- 40:32and went to hell.
- 40:41There's a lot of lessons about
- 40:43succession here. One generation can do
- 40:45what is right. You have to get the right
- 40:48man in office after you. or it takes one
- 40:51generation of rebellion to destroy what
- 40:54has been accomplished.
- 41:00Verse seven, he set carved images image
- 41:04idols which he has made in the house in
- 41:06the house of God. Doing it in town was
- 41:09not enough. He brought it to church of
- 41:11which God has said to David and to
- 41:12Solomon his in this house I have chosen
- 41:15before all the tribe of Israel put my
- 41:16name. Vers 8, neither will I anymore
- 41:19remove the foot of Israel. Anyway, verse
- 41:219, you see the promise God made to
- 41:23Israel, they will never go again into
- 41:24bondage. He he violated. When you start
- 41:27doing certain things, God will break his
- 41:29covenant and let evil happen to you.
- 41:33Anyway, Man made Judah and the habits of
- 41:35Jerusalem to air to do worse than the
- 41:37hidden worse than the hidden whom the
- 41:40Lord had destroyed before the children
- 41:41of Israel. The Lord spoke to Manessa and
- 41:42to his people, but they were not
- 41:43hacking. He even killed some of the
- 41:45prophets that came to warn them.
- 41:48He sent prophets. You know why he does
- 41:50that? God does not want the sinner. He
- 41:52doesn't want to destroy people.
- 41:57He knows what and once it happens that
- 41:59there's no remedy. There's no coming
- 42:00back.
- 42:02So he would do the Bible said in the
- 42:03book of Peter and in the rest of the New
- 42:05Testament that this longsuffering of
- 42:07God, this patience is having is because
- 42:08he's not willing that any should perish.
- 42:13But do you know what people do? They
- 42:14said nothing that happened. So they
- 42:15continue.
- 42:20If you truly know what hell looks like,
- 42:22you know why God has long suffering.
- 42:27Once people are in there, no reversal.
- 42:34Verse 10.
- 42:36Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the
- 42:38captain of the host of the king of
- 42:39Assyria, which took Marisa among the
- 42:42thorns that they bound him with chain eh
- 42:46bound him with feathers and carried him
- 42:48to Babylon delivered into the king of
- 42:50Babylon. Verse 12. And when he was in
- 42:54affliction, he was there for a long
- 42:55time, for a while, he besought the Lord
- 42:59his God and humbled himself greatly
- 43:03before the God of his fathers. He now
- 43:05remembered all the things his father and
- 43:07others were. He now turns back. He has
- 43:10been a wizard. Has been a witch. The
- 43:11devil couldn't help him. He's now
- 43:12calling back on the God of his father,
- 43:14God of David, God of Abraham to save
- 43:16him. Now watch verse 13. And he prayed
- 43:20unto him and he was intreated [music] of
- 43:22him and had his supplication and brought
- 43:25him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom.
- 43:28Then Manessa knew that the Lord was God.
- 43:31So all that time he was going to church.
- 43:33He didn't believe in God. didn't think
- 43:34he was anything or just doing it because
- 43:36of his father.
- 43:38But you see, he repented.
- 43:41The only king that was carried away to
- 43:43captivity, put in prison in chain, he
- 43:46was returned back and put back on the
- 43:47throne.
- 43:49And when God returned him in gave him a
- 43:52brand new [music] check, he ruled for 40
- 43:54years as if he had not ruled before.
- 43:57By the time they added everything, he
- 43:58was the longest ruling king. I want you
- 44:00to see the secret of prosperity that you
- 44:03can't prosper in sin. That's what we
- 44:05read. Proverb 28. He that coverth in sin
- 44:08will not prosper. You are not going to
- 44:09prosper with all those because nobody
- 44:12has caught you. You think you are
- 44:13getting away. You're not getting away.
- 44:15But when people turn back to God, God
- 44:17even pours his favor, his mercy on them
- 44:20like no man's business.
- 44:23Now to show you that this is genuine
- 44:24repentance, watch what he did. Next
- 44:26verse 14. Now after he built the walls
- 44:30without the city of David on the west
- 44:32side of Guehon in the valley everywhere
- 44:33he started building developing build f
- 44:36cities then verse 15
- 44:38he took away the strange god you see all
- 44:40the things he did bad that's what you
- 44:43make amends he took away the strange
- 44:46gods the idol out of the house of the
- 44:47lord and all the altars that he built in
- 44:50the mouth of the house of the lord and
- 44:52in Jerusalem he cast them out of the
- 44:53city you see you make amends the man now
- 44:56became a reformer woman. He even became
- 44:58a preacher according to the scriptures.
- 45:02Go ahead.
- 45:04And he repaired the altar of the Lord,
- 45:06sacrificed there on peace offering and
- 45:08thanks offering and commanded Judah to
- 45:10serve the Lord. He's now preaching to
- 45:12the whole Israel because he helped to
- 45:13corrupt them. He's now doing the
- 45:15reverse.
- 45:18Nevertheless, the people did sacrifice
- 45:19still in the high places yet unto the
- 45:21Lord their God only, no more to idols.
- 45:27Verse 17, the rest of the acts of mana
- 45:29and his prayer that he prayed to his God
- 45:34and the words of the se that spoke to
- 45:36him. They are written in the book of the
- 45:37kings of Israel. Please put up the
- 45:39prayer of Manisa. I want them to see it.
- 45:41So because there are case studies, you
- 45:43see a case study with Psalm 51, David.
- 45:46You see and the Bible records the prayer
- 45:48of repentance of David after he
- 45:50repented. Why God forgave him? Now you
- 45:53will see another king. This was the
- 45:55worst king that the kingdom of Judah
- 45:57produced. Look at him. This guy escaped
- 46:06when he was in chain and he was in
- 46:08prison and the place they put him is in
- 46:09a dungeon. He never saw light for years
- 46:12and they bound him. His only food that
- 46:14he he eats from the ground.
- 46:18Oh Lord, Lord Almighty, God of our
- 46:21ancestors. You see what he's telling God
- 46:23now? God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
- 46:26and their righteous children. You made
- 46:28the heaven and the earth with all their
- 46:30beauty. Look at verse three. You set
- 46:33limits for the sea by speaking your
- 46:35command. He's quoting the Bible.
- 46:39You close the bottomless pit and seed it
- 46:41by your powerful and glorious name. All
- 46:43things fear you and tremble in your
- 46:46presence. Verse five, because no one can
- 46:49endure the brightness of your glory. No
- 46:51one can resist the fury of your threat
- 46:53against sinners. Nobody can withstand
- 46:55your anger,
- 46:59but you promise mercies that are beyond
- 47:03measure and imagination
- 47:06because you are the highest Lord. You
- 47:09are kind. You are patient. You are
- 47:11merciful. You feel sorry over human
- 47:14troubles. And this is an absolute truth.
- 47:20is saying to God, you promise mercies
- 47:22and forgiveness because you are kind,
- 47:24you are patient, you are merciful, and
- 47:26you even feel sorry over human problems
- 47:28and struggles. You, Lord, according to
- 47:30your gentle grace, promise forgiveness
- 47:33to those who are sorry for their sins.
- 47:35You see that
- 47:37in your great mercy, you allow sinners
- 47:40to turn from their sins and find
- 47:41salvation.
- 47:43Verse
- 47:458.
- 47:47Therefore, Lord God of those who do what
- 47:49is right.
- 47:51You didn't offer Abraham, Isaac, and
- 47:53Jacob, who didn't sin against you, a
- 47:55chance to change their heart and live.
- 47:57There was they don't need repentance.
- 47:58These people are righteous men. But you
- 48:01offered me the sinner, the chance to
- 48:04change my heart and life.
- 48:08Because my sins outnumber the grain of
- 48:10sand by the sea. My sins are many, Lord.
- 48:14They are many. I am not worthy to look
- 48:16up and to gaze into heaven because of my
- 48:19many sins.
- 48:22Now, Lord, I suffer justly.
- 48:25I deserve the troubles I encounter.
- 48:28Already I'm caught in a trap.
- 48:32I am held down by iron chains so that I
- 48:35can't even lift my head because of my
- 48:37sins. There is no relief for me because
- 48:39I made you angry. doing wrong in the
- 48:42front of your face, setting up false
- 48:44gods and committing offenses.
- 48:49Now I bow down before you from deep
- 48:53within my heart begging you for
- 48:55kindness.
- 48:56I have seen Lord I have sinned. I know
- 48:59the laws are broken. You see he was
- 49:01raised in church.
- 49:03I know the laws are broken.
- 49:07Verse 13. I am praying, begging you,
- 49:10forgive me, Lord. Forgive me. Don't
- 49:12destroy me along with my sins. Don't
- 49:15keep my bad deeds in your memory
- 49:16forever. Don't sentence me to the air
- 49:19depths. That's to hell.
- 49:22For you, Lord, are the God of those who
- 49:24turn from their sins. Remember, he has
- 49:27said, "You are the God of the righteous
- 49:28who are living right. They don't need
- 49:30to. But you also the God of those who
- 49:32truly turned from their sins." Verse 14.
- 49:37in me you will show how kind you are.
- 49:40Use me as an example. Although I'm not
- 49:42worthy, you will save me according to
- 49:44your great. You see now he's now
- 49:46beginning to speak by faith according to
- 49:48your great mercy and I will praise you
- 49:50continuously all the days of my life
- 49:52because of all because all the force
- 49:55heavenly forces praise you and the glory
- 49:58is yours forever and always. And God
- 50:02changed his mind and brought the guy out
- 50:03of that place.
- 50:06Hey,
- 50:10it doesn't matter how far you have gone.
- 50:13It doesn't matter what depth you have
- 50:15found yourself, you can come out. And it
- 50:18doesn't matter what damages that are
- 50:20going on in your life now. Don't wait
- 50:22till it leads to death. Then there's no
- 50:24chance anymore. You can come out. Bow
- 50:26down your heads, please. You see, we
- 50:28can't come and be preaching prosperity
- 50:30and progress to you without repentance.
- 50:32It's not going to work. You know,
- 50:34whatever it is, talk to him tonight.
- 50:37Talk to him tonight. Talk to him
- 50:40tonight. All of you that have the sound
- 50:42of my voice tonight and heard this
- 50:44message, please, I beg you, wherever you
- 50:46are, whatever country you live in, bow
- 50:49your hearts before God like Madison and
- 50:51ask him to. And you know, when you feel
- 50:52repent, you now ask him to for the gift
- 50:54of the Holy Spirit to recreate you, to
- 50:58change you into who you are supposed to
- 50:59be, and to make you a brand new person.
- 51:05And right there you make a vow never to
- 51:07go back to those things to turn away
- 51:09from them. And you go and start making
- 51:11amends. Start leading people to Christ.
- 51:13Start teaching other people to live
- 51:14right. Start turning men to
- 51:16righteousness. When you are keenly
- 51:18saved, you become a soul winner. You
- 51:20start saving others.
- 51:29Take my life. And let it be
- 51:36praise and lost to thee.
- 51:41Take my
- 51:44hand.
