Why Most Never Find the 2 Keys Jesus Gave You to His Authority | E.W. Kenyon Teachings — Transcript

- 0:00Jesus placed two keys in your hand. Not
- 0:03metaphorical keys, not symbolic keys,
- 0:06real functional keys to his authority.
- 0:09Given to you for the express purpose of
- 0:12exercising dominion over the
- 0:14circumstances of your life and the
- 0:16powers of darkness that oppose you.
- 0:18He named them specifically. He described
- 0:21exactly what they do, and he gave them
- 0:23not to a select group of apostles, but
- 0:26to every believer who would follow him.
- 0:29And yet, the vast majority of Christians
- 0:32go their entire lives without ever
- 0:34finding these keys, without ever
- 0:36understanding what they are,
- 0:38and without ever using them.
- 0:41They have the keys in their possession.
- 0:43The keys are in their hand,
- 0:45but they have never looked down to see
- 0:47what they are holding.
- 0:48And so, they live locked out of the very
- 0:51authority that Jesus delegated to them.
- 0:54Standing before doors they have the keys
- 0:56to open, facing bondages they have the
- 0:59keys to loose, confronting obstacles
- 1:02they have the keys to remove,
- 1:04all while the keys hang unused,
- 1:07unrecognized, and unemployed.
- 1:10This teaching is going to show you the
- 1:12two keys Jesus gave you, explain exactly
- 1:15what they are, and teach you how to use
- 1:17them.
- 1:19This teaching is going to take you to
- 1:20the moment Jesus handed his followers
- 1:22the keys to his authority, and unpack
- 1:25exactly what those keys are and how they
- 1:28operate.
- 1:29E.W. Kenyon understood the keys of the
- 1:32kingdom not as a mysterious spiritual
- 1:34concept, but as a practical grant of
- 1:36authority to every believer.
- 1:39He wrote,
- 1:40"Jesus did not give the keys of the
- 1:42kingdom to a privileged few.
- 1:44He gave them to the church, to every
- 1:47believer who would stand in his name.
- 1:49The keys represent delegated authority,
- 1:52the authority to open and close, to bind
- 1:56and loose, to permit and forbid in the
- 1:58spiritual realm.
- 2:00And the tragedy of the church is that
- 2:02most believers hold this authority in
- 2:04their hands without ever recognizing it,
- 2:07exercising it, or benefiting from it.
- 2:10They possess the keys of the kingdom and
- 2:12live as though the doors were
- 2:14permanently locked against them.
- 2:16They possess the keys and live as though
- 2:19the doors were locked.
- 2:21That is the condition this teaching is
- 2:23designed to reverse
- 2:25because the keys are real, the authority
- 2:28is genuine, and the power to use them
- 2:30belongs to every believer who will learn
- 2:32what they are and how they operate.
- 2:35Stay with me through this entire
- 2:37teaching because what you discover about
- 2:39the two keys in your hand will transform
- 2:42the way you exercise authority over
- 2:44every situation you face.
- 2:47Let us first understand why so many
- 2:49believers never find the keys even
- 2:51though the keys are in their possession.
- 2:54The reason is that they have been taught
- 2:55to think of authority as something that
- 2:57belongs exclusively to God, something
- 3:00they can request but never wield,
- 3:03something they can pray about but never
- 3:05exercise.
- 3:07Under this understanding, the believer
- 3:09is always asking God to do things,
- 3:12always petitioning him to act, always
- 3:15waiting for him to intervene.
- 3:17And while there is a place for petition,
- 3:20this posture misses the entire point of
- 3:22the keys
- 3:23because a key is not given to someone so
- 3:25they can ask the owner to open the door.
- 3:28A key is given so the holder can open
- 3:31the door themselves.
- 3:33The very act of giving someone a key is
- 3:35a transfer of authority, a delegation of
- 3:38access, a granting of the power to do
- 3:41what the key enables.
- 3:43When Jesus gave his followers the keys
- 3:45of the kingdom, he was not giving them a
- 3:47more efficient way to ask God to act. He
- 3:51was delegating to them the authority to
- 3:53act in his name. He was transferring
- 3:56access.
- 3:57He was granting the power to open and
- 3:59close, to bind and loose in the
- 4:02spiritual realm.
- 4:04And the believer who continues to merely
- 4:06ask God to do what the keys empower them
- 4:08to do
- 4:09is like a person who has been given the
- 4:11keys to a building, but stands outside
- 4:14knocking, asking the owner to come let
- 4:16them in
- 4:17when the keys to open every door are
- 4:20hanging in their own hand.
- 4:22E.W. Kenyon identified this failure to
- 4:24recognize delegated authority as one of
- 4:27the great weaknesses of the praying
- 4:29church.
- 4:30He wrote, "The church has become expert
- 4:33at asking and ignorant of acting.
- 4:36Believers pray and plead and petition
- 4:39for God to do what he has already given
- 4:41them the authority to do.
- 4:43They ask him to bind what he has
- 4:45authorized them to bind.
- 4:47They ask him to loose what he has
- 4:49empowered them to loose.
- 4:52They stand before locked doors begging
- 4:54the owner to open them while the keys to
- 4:57every door hang unused at their side.
- 5:00The keys were given so that the believer
- 5:02could act, not merely ask.
- 5:05And until the believer understands this,
- 5:08the keys will remain unused and the
- 5:10authority will remain unexercised.
- 5:14The keys were given so the believer
- 5:16could act, not merely ask.
- 5:19That is the shift this teaching
- 5:21requires.
- 5:22From a posture of constant petition to a
- 5:25posture of authorized action using the
- 5:28keys that Jesus placed in your hand.
- 5:31There is an important truth about these
- 5:33keys that protects the believer from
- 5:35misusing them.
- 5:36The keys operate according to the will
- 5:38of God, not according to the believer's
- 5:41selfish desires.
- 5:43Binding and loosing are not magic
- 5:45formulas for getting whatever you want.
- 5:48They are instruments of delegated
- 5:50authority for enforcing the will of
- 5:52heaven on the earth.
- 5:54Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:10,
- 5:58"Thy will be done in earth, as it is in
- 6:01heaven."
- 6:02The keys are the means by which the
- 6:03believer enforces that prayer.
- 6:06Binding on earth what is already
- 6:08forbidden in heaven and loosing on earth
- 6:10what is already permitted in heaven.
- 6:13The believer does not bind and loose
- 6:15according to his own whims.
- 6:17He binds what God forbids and looses
- 6:20what God permits.
- 6:21And because he is operating in alignment
- 6:23with the will of heaven, heaven backs
- 6:26his decrees.
- 6:28The keys are not a tool for imposing the
- 6:30believer's will on God.
- 6:32They are a tool for enforcing God's will
- 6:34on the earth.
- 6:36And used that way, in alignment
- 6:37[clears throat] with the revealed will
- 6:39of God in his word, they carry the full
- 6:41backing of heaven.
- 6:43Imagine a person who has been given the
- 6:45keys to a mansion filled with everything
- 6:47they could ever need. [clears throat]
- 6:49Food in the pantry, treasure in the
- 6:51vault, comfort in every room.
- 6:54But this person, not understanding
- 6:55[clears throat]
- 6:56that the keys grant them access, stands
- 6:59outside the locked doors, hungry, poor,
- 7:02and cold. Crying out to the owner,
- 7:05"Please, would you open the door and
- 7:07give me some food?
- 7:09Please, would you unlock the vault and
- 7:11share some treasure?
- 7:13Please, would you let me into a warm
- 7:15room?"
- 7:16And the owner, who already gave them the
- 7:19keys, watches in sorrow as they suffer
- 7:22outside doors they have the full
- 7:24authority to open.
- 7:26The tragedy is not that the provision is
- 7:28unavailable. The provision is fully
- 7:30available.
- 7:32The tragedy is that the one who holds
- 7:34the keys does not know what they hold.
- 7:37And so they beg for what they could
- 7:38simply unlock.
- 7:40That is the picture of the believer who
- 7:43has not found the keys Jesus gave them.
- 7:46So, let us go to the moment Jesus gave
- 7:48the keys and discover exactly what they
- 7:51are.
- 7:52Matthew 16:19 records the words of Jesus
- 7:55to Peter, representing the church.
- 7:58"And I will give unto thee the keys of
- 8:00the kingdom of heaven.
- 8:02And whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth
- 8:04shall be bound in heaven.
- 8:06And whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth
- 8:08shall be loosed in heaven.
- 8:11Here, Jesus names the two keys
- 8:13explicitly.
- 8:14The first key is the key of binding.
- 8:17The second key is the key of loosing.
- 8:20And he defines exactly how they work.
- 8:23Whatever you bind on earth shall be
- 8:25bound in heaven. And whatever you loose
- 8:28on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
- 8:31The authority operates from earth,
- 8:33exercised by the believer. And it is
- 8:35backed by heaven, which honors and
- 8:37enforces what the believer binds and
- 8:40looses in the name of Jesus.
- 8:42Let us understand the first key, the key
- 8:45of binding.
- 8:46To bind in the original language means
- 8:49to tie up, to restrain, to forbid, to
- 8:52declare unlawful, to prohibit.
- 8:55The key of binding is the authority to
- 8:58restrain and forbid the works of the
- 9:00enemy.
- 9:01When you encounter the operation of
- 9:03darkness, whether it is a spirit of
- 9:05fear, a spirit of infirmity, a spirit of
- 9:08confusion, or any work of the enemy,
- 9:11you have the authority to bind it, to
- 9:13restrain it, to forbid it from
- 9:15operating.
- 9:17You do not ask God to bind it. You
- 9:20exercise the key he gave you and bind it
- 9:22yourself in the name of Jesus.
- 9:25You say, "I bind this spirit of fear in
- 9:28the name of Jesus. I forbid it to
- 9:30operate in my life, in my home, or in my
- 9:33family.
- 9:34I restrain it by the authority Jesus
- 9:37delegated to me."
- 9:38And heaven backs that binding because
- 9:41you are using the key Jesus placed in
- 9:43your hand.
- 9:45E.W. Kenyon described the key of binding
- 9:47as the believer's authority to stop the
- 9:50works of darkness.
- 9:51He wrote, "The key of binding gives the
- 9:54believer the power to restrain the
- 9:56enemy.
- 9:57He does not have to tolerate the works
- 9:58of darkness. He does not have to endure
- 10:01the attacks of the adversary. He has
- 10:03been given the authority to bind, to
- 10:06forbid, to restrain, and to prohibit the
- 10:09operation of every evil force that comes
- 10:11against him. And when he exercises this
- 10:14key in the name of Jesus, heaven
- 10:17enforces his decree, and the bound enemy
- 10:19is restrained from operating.
- 10:22The believer is not a victim of the
- 10:24enemy's works. He is an authorized agent
- 10:27with the power to bind them. An
- 10:29authorized agent with the power to bind.
- 10:33That is the first key. Not a request for
- 10:36God to restrain the enemy, but the
- 10:39exercise of the believer's own delegated
- 10:41authority to bind the works of darkness
- 10:44in the name of Jesus.
- 10:46Now, let us understand the second key,
- 10:49the key of loosing.
- 10:51To loose in the original language means
- 10:54to untie, to release, to set free, to
- 10:58permit, to declare lawful.
- 11:01The key of loosing is the authority to
- 11:03release the blessings, the provisions,
- 11:05and the purposes of heaven into your
- 11:07circumstances.
- 11:09When you need healing, you loose it.
- 11:12When you need provision, you
- 11:14[clears throat] loose it. When you need
- 11:15peace, deliverance, breakthrough, or any
- 11:18blessing that heaven has provided, you
- 11:20have the authority to loose it, to
- 11:22release it from the spiritual realm into
- 11:25your situation.
- 11:26You do not merely beg God to release it.
- 11:29You exercise the key he gave you and
- 11:32loose it yourself in the name of Jesus.
- 11:34You say, "I loose healing into my body
- 11:37in the name of Jesus. I release the
- 11:40provision of heaven into my
- 11:41circumstances. I loose the peace of God
- 11:44into my home by the authority Jesus
- 11:47delegated to me."
- 11:48And heaven backs that loosing because
- 11:51you are using the second key Jesus
- 11:53placed in your hand.
- 11:55E.W. Kenyon described the key of loosing
- 11:57as the believer's authority to release
- 11:59the resources of heaven. He wrote, "The
- 12:02key of loosing gives the believer the
- 12:04power to release what heaven has
- 12:06provided. Healing has been provided.
- 12:09Provision has been provided. Peace,
- 12:12deliverance, and every blessing have
- 12:14been provided through the finished work
- 12:16of Christ.
- 12:18But, these provisions must be loosed,
- 12:20released, brought from the spiritual
- 12:23realm into the natural realm by the
- 12:25believer who holds the key.
- 12:28The believer is not waiting for heaven
- 12:29to release these things at some random
- 12:32time of God's choosing.
- 12:34He has been given the key to loose them
- 12:35himself by faith in the name of Jesus.
- 12:39And when he uses this key, heaven
- 12:41releases what he looses because the
- 12:44authority is genuine and the backing is
- 12:46sure.
- 12:48The believer holds the key to loose what
- 12:50heaven has provided.
- 12:52That is the second key.
- 12:54Not a hopeful request, but the
- 12:56authorized release of heaven's provision
- 12:59into the believer's circumstances.
- 13:02Let me give you a practical
- 13:03demonstration of how these keys operate
- 13:05in real situations because the principle
- 13:08becomes powerful when you see it
- 13:09applied.
- 13:11Suppose someone in your family is under
- 13:13a relentless attack of fear and anxiety.
- 13:16The untrained believer prays, "Lord,
- 13:19please take away their fear. Please give
- 13:22them peace."
- 13:23And while that prayer is sincere, it
- 13:26does not use the keys.
- 13:28The believer who understands the keys
- 13:30responds differently.
- 13:32They use the key of binding.
- 13:35"I bind the spirit of fear that is
- 13:37tormenting my loved one. In the name of
- 13:39Jesus, I forbid it to operate. I
- 13:42restrain it by the authority Jesus
- 13:44delegated to me."
- 13:46And then, they use the key of loosing.
- 13:49"I loose the peace of God that passes
- 13:51all understanding into their heart and
- 13:53mind. I release the spirit of power,
- 13:56love, and a sound mind that 2 Timothy
- 13:591:7 declares is theirs in Christ."
- 14:02The believer has not merely asked, they
- 14:05have bound and loosed, exercising the
- 14:07keys.
- 14:08And heaven backs the decree.
- 14:11Suppose you are facing a financial
- 14:13crisis that threatens to overwhelm you.
- 14:16The untrained believer prays, "Lord,
- 14:18please help with the money. Please
- 14:20provide."
- 14:22The believer who holds the keys binds
- 14:24and looses.
- 14:26They bind first.
- 14:28"I bind every spirit of lack and
- 14:30financial bondage operating against me
- 14:32in the name of Jesus.
- 14:34I forbid it to prosper. I restrain its
- 14:37work."
- 14:39Then, they loose.
- 14:40"I loose the provision of heaven into my
- 14:43circumstances.
- 14:44I release the abundance that Philippians
- 14:464:19 declares is mine, that my God shall
- 14:50supply all my need according to his
- 14:52riches and glory by Christ Jesus."
- 14:56The crisis has not changed yet, but the
- 14:58believer has exercised authority over
- 15:01it, binding the work of the enemy and
- 15:03loosing the provision of heaven.
- 15:06And the keys have been turned.
- 15:09Suppose sickness has invaded your body.
- 15:12The untrained believer prays,
- 15:14"Lord, please heal me if it is your
- 15:16will."
- 15:18The believer who holds the keys knows
- 15:20that healing is already the will of God,
- 15:23already provided through the stripes of
- 15:25Jesus, and waiting to be loosed.
- 15:28So, they bind.
- 15:29"I bind this spirit of infirmity in the
- 15:32name of Jesus.
- 15:34I forbid it to remain in this body,
- 15:36which is the temple of the Holy Spirit."
- 15:39Then, they loose. "I loose the healing
- 15:42power of God into my body.
- 15:45I release the health that 1 Peter 2:24
- 15:48declares is mine, for by his stripes I
- 15:51was healed."
- 15:53The keys are turned. The authority is
- 15:55exercised, and heaven enforces the
- 15:58decree of the believer who has learned
- 16:00to use what Jesus gave him.
- 16:03E.W. Kenyon emphasized that the keys
- 16:05must be used with the consciousness of
- 16:07genuine authority, not with the
- 16:10uncertainty of a hopeful request.
- 16:13He wrote, "When the believer uses the
- 16:15keys, he must use them as one who has
- 16:17authority, not as one who is hoping for
- 16:20permission.
- 16:21He does not say, "Lord, would you please
- 16:24bind this for me?"
- 16:25He says, "I bind this in the name of
- 16:28Jesus." With the full confidence that
- 16:31the authority is his and the backing of
- 16:33heaven is sure.
- 16:35The keys do not respond to timid
- 16:38suggestions.
- 16:39They respond to authoritative decrees
- 16:41made by a believer who knows that the
- 16:43keys are genuinely in his hand and that
- 16:46heaven genuinely backs his use of them.
- 16:49The keys respond to authoritative
- 16:51decrees, not timid suggestions.
- 16:54That is the posture required.
- 16:57Not hoping, knowing.
- 16:59Not asking permission to use the keys,
- 17:02using them with the confidence of one
- 17:04who knows they were given.
- 17:06Now, here is a crucial point that most
- 17:09believers miss about these two keys.
- 17:12The keys operate together and they must
- 17:15be used in coordination.
- 17:17In many situations, you must first bind
- 17:20before you can loose.
- 17:22You must first restrain the work of the
- 17:24enemy before you can release the
- 17:26blessing of heaven.
- 17:27If there is a spirit of infirmity
- 17:29operating, you bind it first,
- 17:32restraining its work, and then you loose
- 17:35healing into the body.
- 17:37If there is a spirit of lack or
- 17:39financial bondage, you bind it first,
- 17:41forbidding its operation, and then you
- 17:44loose the provision of heaven into your
- 17:46circumstances.
- 17:48The binding clears the way and the
- 17:50loosing brings the blessing.
- 17:52And the believer who understands how to
- 17:54use both keys in coordination, binding
- 17:57the enemy's work and loosing heaven's
- 17:59provision,
- 18:00operates with a completeness of
- 18:02authority that the believer who knows
- 18:04only one key or neither can never
- 18:06access.
- 18:08E.W. Kenyon explained the coordinated
- 18:10use of the keys with practical clarity.
- 18:13He wrote,
- 18:14"The two keys work together.
- 18:17The believer binds is of the enemy and
- 18:19looses the work of heaven.
- 18:21He forbids what God forbids, and permits
- 18:24what God permits.
- 18:26He restrains the darkness, and releases
- 18:28the light.
- 18:29And when both keys are used in
- 18:31coordination, in the name of Jesus, and
- 18:33according to the will of God,
- 18:35the believer exercises a complete
- 18:37authority over his circumstances.
- 18:40He is not merely defending against the
- 18:42enemy.
- 18:43He is not merely petitioning for
- 18:45blessing.
- 18:46He is governing his situation with the
- 18:48full authority that Jesus delegated,
- 18:51binding what should be bound, and
- 18:53loosing what should be loosed.
- 18:55Binding what should be bound, and
- 18:57loosing what should be loosed.
- 19:00That is the complete exercise of the
- 19:02keys,
- 19:03and it transforms the believer from a
- 19:05passive petitioner into an active
- 19:07governor of their circumstances,
- 19:10operating with the delegated authority
- 19:12of the king who gave them the keys.
- 19:15And here is the climactic truth that
- 19:17should send you reaching for the keys
- 19:19today.
- 19:20The keys were given to you, and the
- 19:23authority they represent has been backed
- 19:25by heaven since the moment Jesus spoke
- 19:27the words,
- 19:29"Whatever you bind on earth shall be
- 19:30bound in heaven.
- 19:32Whatever you loose on earth shall be
- 19:34loosed in heaven."
- 19:36This is not a future promise. It is a
- 19:39present reality.
- 19:40The heavenly backing is already in
- 19:42place. The authority is already
- 19:45delegated. The keys are already in your
- 19:48hand.
- 19:50The only thing that has been missing is
- 19:52your recognition of what you hold, and
- 19:54your willingness to use it.
- 19:56And the moment you begin to use the
- 19:58keys, the moment you start binding the
- 20:01works of darkness, and loosing the
- 20:03provisions of heaven in the name of
- 20:05Jesus, you will discover that the
- 20:07authority is genuine. The backing is
- 20:10real, and the doors that have been
- 20:12locked against you swing open at the
- 20:14turn of the keys you have held all
- 20:16along.
- 20:18Kenyon expressed this with words that
- 20:19should provoke every believer to action.
- 20:22He wrote, "Use the keys. They were given
- 20:26to you to use.
- 20:27Do not let them hang unused while you
- 20:29suffer behind doors you have the
- 20:31authority to open.
- 20:33Bind the enemy that has been tormenting
- 20:35you. Loose the blessing that has been
- 20:37provided for you.
- 20:39Exercise the authority that Jesus
- 20:41delegated to you and watch heaven
- 20:43enforce your decrees
- 20:45because the keys are real, the backing
- 20:48is sure, and the believer who uses what
- 20:51Jesus gave him will walk in a dominion
- 20:53that the keyless believer can only dream
- 20:56of.
- 20:57Use the keys. They were given to you to
- 21:00use. That is the charge.
- 21:03The keys are not decorations. They are
- 21:05not symbols. They are functional
- 21:07instruments of delegated authority and
- 21:10they were given to be used.
- 21:12And the believer who finds them,
- 21:14recognizes them, and begins to use them
- 21:17will exercise an authority over their
- 21:19circumstances that they never knew was
- 21:21available.
- 21:23So, let this truth send you reaching for
- 21:25the keys that Jesus placed in your hand.
- 21:28He gave you two keys to his authority.
- 21:31The key of binding and the key of
- 21:33loosing.
- 21:34The key of binding empowers you to
- 21:36restrain, forbid, and prohibit the works
- 21:39of darkness.
- 21:40The key of loosing empowers you to
- 21:43release the blessings, provisions, and
- 21:45purposes of heaven into your
- 21:47circumstances.
- 21:49The two keys work together,
- 21:51the binding clearing the way and the
- 21:53loosing bringing the blessing.
- 21:55And whatever you bind or loose on earth
- 21:58in the name of Jesus and according to
- 22:00the will of God is backed and enforced
- 22:03by heaven itself.
- 22:05The keys are real. The authority is
- 22:08genuine. The backing is sure. And the
- 22:11keys have been in your hand since the
- 22:13moment you came into the kingdom.
- 22:16Stop standing before locked doors
- 22:18begging the owner to open them.
- 22:20Reach for the keys you hold, turn them
- 22:23in the locks, and walk into the
- 22:25authority that Jesus delegated to you.
- 22:28E.W. Kenyon left the church with a
- 22:30charge that should govern the exercise
- 22:32of authority for every believer.
- 22:35He wrote,
- 22:36"You hold the keys. Use them. Bind the
- 22:39works of the enemy in the name of Jesus.
- 22:42Loose the provision of heaven by the
- 22:44same authority and refuse to live as a
- 22:47victim when you have been made a victor
- 22:50with the keys of the kingdom in your
- 22:52hand."
- 22:53The keys were given to be used.
- 22:56The authority was delegated to be
- 22:58exercised.
- 23:00And the believer who uses what Jesus
- 23:02gave him will discover that the kingdom
- 23:04of heaven responds to the turn of the
- 23:06keys held by a son who finally knows
- 23:09what he possesses.
- 23:11The kingdom responds to the turn of the
- 23:13keys held by a son who knows what he
- 23:16possesses.
- 23:18And now that you know what you hold, the
- 23:20doors that have stood locked against you
- 23:23are about to open.
- 23:25If this truth has revealed the two keys
- 23:27Jesus placed in your hand, and you are
- 23:29ready to stop begging and start
- 23:31exercising the authority he delegated to
- 23:34you, then declare it.
- 23:36In the comment section below, type these
- 23:38words,
- 23:40"Jesus gave me the keys of the kingdom.
- 23:43I hold the key of binding and the key of
- 23:46loosing. I bind the works of darkness in
- 23:49the name of Jesus, and I loose the
- 23:52provisions of heaven by the authority he
- 23:54delegated to me.
- 23:56I no longer stand before locked doors
- 23:58begging. I turn the keys I hold, and
- 24:02whatever I bind or loose on earth in the
- 24:04name of Jesus is backed by heaven
- 24:06itself.
- 24:08I am not a victim. I am a key holder in
- 24:11the kingdom of God."
- 24:13That is not a formula.
- 24:15That is a believer recognizing and
- 24:18exercising the delegated authority that
- 24:21Jesus placed in their hand.
- 24:23Leave it in the comments now.
- 24:26And as you begin to use the keys of
- 24:28binding and loosing, there is a related
- 24:30truth about your authority that most
- 24:32believers have completely misunderstood.
- 24:35And the misunderstanding has stripped
- 24:37their words of power.
- 24:39It concerns the blood of Jesus.
- 24:43You have heard believers plead the
- 24:44blood.
- 24:45You may have pleaded it yourself,
- 24:47repeating the phrase over and over like
- 24:50a chant, hoping that the repetition
- 24:52would produce a result.
- 24:54But the blood of Jesus was never meant
- 24:56to be a chant.
- 24:57It is something far more powerful, far
- 25:00more legal, and far more authoritative
- 25:03than a phrase to be repeated.
- 25:05The blood is a verdict, a legal
- 25:08declaration that has already been handed
- 25:10down in the highest court of the
- 25:12universe.
- 25:13And when you understand the difference
- 25:15between pleading the blood like a chant
- 25:17and enforcing the blood like a legal
- 25:19verdict, your authority will operate at
- 25:22a level you have never experienced.
- 25:25In the next teaching, we're going to
- 25:27expose this misunderstanding and show
- 25:29you how to stop pleading and start
- 25:31enforcing the verdict the blood has
- 25:33already secured.
- 25:35If what you heard today gave you the
- 25:37keys, what comes next will show you the
- 25:39verdict that backs them.
