2. 0:03regarding the chris watts case and one
3. 0:05of the things i've talked about a decent
4. 0:07amount
5. 0:07that i want to talk about again today is
6. 0:10just how interested people are
7. 0:12in chris watts and the case in general
8. 0:16you know even two years later that's
9. 0:17something i say a lot to
10. 0:19even two years later obviously it's 20
11. 0:2120 now 2018 when it happened
12. 0:24so that's what i mean and you know
13. 0:27i'm part of that group who still finds
14. 0:29chris watts really interesting
15. 0:31and you know obviously everyone has
16. 0:32their own uh unique set of reasons
17. 0:36why they think chris wants and the case
18. 0:38is so interesting
19. 0:39you know it could be unanswered
20. 0:41questions
21. 0:43uh you know just be about how disturbing
22. 0:44the murders were
23. 0:46or you know the sexual element or
24. 0:49maybe you just think chris wants is
25. 0:50attractive so you watch a lot of videos
26. 0:52about them
27. 0:53you know whatever everyone has their own
28. 0:54reasons and that's what i want to talk
29. 0:56about today
30. 0:57i want to talk about my reasons why i'm
31. 0:59still interested in chris watts
32. 1:00in 2020 and you know at the end of the
33. 1:04day
34. 1:04it is a combination of a lot of things
35. 1:07but i do want to touch on
36. 1:08the main reason why i'm interested in
37. 1:12chris wants now
38. 1:13but first i wanted to talk about why
39. 1:17i was interested in the chris watts case
40. 1:19when it first happened and then for the
41. 1:20months following that
42. 1:22uh obviously i think this is the same
43. 1:23reason a lot of people were initially
44. 1:25you know
45. 1:26right off the bat interested with chris
46. 1:27wants and
47. 1:29you know it's just the heinousness of
48. 1:30the murders and how disturbing
49. 1:32you know just the thought is that you
50. 1:34could or that someone would kill their
51. 1:36own
52. 1:38wife who's pregnant and their two young
53. 1:40daughters you know
54. 1:42i think that was a big reason just you
55. 1:43know the pure shock factor
56. 1:47of learning or you know realizing that
57. 1:49this could happen you know to anyone
58. 1:52and that's a big reason i think why
59. 1:54people are interested in it
60. 1:56and obviously when a case does reach
61. 1:58national news there's
62. 1:59reason and i think that's the reason why
63. 2:02chris wants was on the news
64. 2:03i think a lot of people already know
65. 2:04that and you would just assume that but
66. 2:07i thought i'd say it in the video
67. 2:10but now if you jump forward in time to
68. 2:142020
69. 2:16you know i i've kind of become
70. 2:18desensitized to the details of the
71. 2:20murder that's not really what i care
72. 2:21about
73. 2:22anymore you know obviously it's still
74. 2:23disgusting and disturbing and horrendous
75. 2:25but
76. 2:26you know that's not really what keeps me
77. 2:28coming back to chris watts videos and
78. 2:31chris wants documentaries it's not
79. 2:32really about the murders themselves
80. 2:34anymore
81. 2:35well i mean obviously everything's tied
82. 2:37back into the murders but it's not about
83. 2:39the murders themselves i i'm really
84. 2:41interested
85. 2:42in chris wants for the same reason i
86. 2:44think a lot of people are and it's
87. 2:45unanswered questions you know a lot of
88. 2:47people want to know
89. 2:48exactly what happened and one of the big
90. 2:51things that i think people have
91. 2:53uh unanswered questions that people have
92. 2:55is what happened
93. 2:56exactly between shenan getting home and
94. 2:59chris leaving for work
95. 3:01you know that three and a half four
96. 3:04four and a half hour period that
97. 3:08you know they're all in the house and
98. 3:10you know obviously
99. 3:11chris is the only one alive to tell you
100. 3:14what happened and you know
101. 3:18he has answered that question a couple
102. 3:20times but again you know
103. 3:22it is chris watson's like you know this
104. 3:25is the guy who just killed his wife and
105. 3:26two daughters so i don't know if i
106. 3:28believe you
107. 3:29so obviously people are still you know
108. 3:31interested in finding out they want to
109. 3:33know what happened exactly you know the
110. 3:35truth
111. 3:36behind that but that's not why i'm
112. 3:38interested in chris wants i'm more
113. 3:40interested in what he was doing before
114. 3:41the murders
115. 3:42and what he did after the murders
116. 3:46and i'm interested in the stall process
117. 3:48behind all of it
118. 3:50i'm really just fascinated with the fact
119. 3:53that this
120. 3:54you know 30 year old man he's 36 now so
121. 3:57he's like 34 when it happened you know
122. 3:59that's doesn't really matter that he's
123. 4:0036
124. 4:01now but you know it really blows my mind
125. 4:04that
126. 4:04this 30 year old man an adult who the
127. 4:08brain is fully developed
128. 4:13somehow got the idea in his head that he
129. 4:15could
130. 4:16you know do this and get away with it
131. 4:18potentially
132. 4:19you know like at what point did you
133. 4:21think
134. 4:23that you who you know maybe maybe chris
135. 4:24stole a candy bar when he was like six
136. 4:26years old from walmart or something
137. 4:28but chris really wasn't committing any
138. 4:30crimes ever
139. 4:32so at what point did you think
140. 4:35chris that you could get away with this
141. 4:38and you know then i'll talk about some
142. 4:41other stuff later but like
143. 4:43really it blows my mind that he thought
144. 4:45that this would somehow
145. 4:46work out for him because you know
146. 4:49obviously at some point in time he did
147. 4:50think he was gonna get away with the
148. 4:52potential you know
149. 4:53he caused his daughter's school says
150. 4:56they're not gonna be
151. 4:57enrolled anymore you know he contacts
152. 5:00the realtor
153. 5:01you know the same day that he just
154. 5:03murdered his wife like
155. 5:04i don't know how you thought that you
156. 5:06were gonna do that and have that not
157. 5:08sound suspicious
158. 5:10but you know what whatever chris you
159. 5:11know i'm not
160. 5:13gonna get too upset over not being able
161. 5:16to figure that out because
162. 5:17you know i don't think he ever can
163. 5:19because again it's chris telling you and
164. 5:21he's the only one who can
165. 5:23so you know you know how that goes
166. 5:26but like again i just can't fathom the
167. 5:29fact that he thought
168. 5:31he was going to do these things and get
169. 5:32away with it you know the porch
170. 5:33interview obviously i don't know i have
171. 5:35no idea why he did that
172. 5:37i don't know how he thought that was
173. 5:39going to be a good idea or how that
174. 5:40would possibly make him look good you
175. 5:42know
176. 5:43obviously he's smiling during the whole
177. 5:45thing he's rocking back and forth
178. 5:49you know you can tell that he's he's
179. 5:50really nervous
180. 5:52and you know he just keeps saying likes
181. 5:54and stuff and like and like i want them
182. 5:56back
183. 5:58and you know he's rocking back and forth
184. 6:01he's smiling has he's got that huge grin
185. 6:04on his face he's like
186. 6:05man i'm finally free for my wife and
187. 6:07kids
188. 6:08please let this interview in so i can go
189. 6:10back to nicole real quick
190. 6:12and say did you not notice that you were
191. 6:16smiling did
192. 6:17did his face just like start
193. 6:20smiling on its own so i don't know why
194. 6:23he thought that was a good idea
195. 6:25you know and obviously i think his train
196. 6:28of thought was he needed to look like
197. 6:29the
198. 6:32concerned father that kind of thing
199. 6:35you know he probably thought that it
200. 6:37would look suspicious if he didn't
201. 6:38interview but you know
202. 6:40if your wife and kids are missing
203. 6:43and you don't know where they are
204. 6:47and some camera crew comes up to you and
205. 6:50starts pestering you for an interview i
206. 6:52feel like it would be a pretty
207. 6:53understandable answer to just say
208. 6:56uh my wife and kids are missing i don't
209. 6:59want to do this right now i'm going
210. 7:01through a hard time
211. 7:02and it would probably be like yeah okay
212. 7:04that makes a lot of sense
213. 7:05uh i hope you find your wife and kids
214. 7:08you know she was pregnant so i'm sure it
215. 7:09was going to be on the news either way
216. 7:11at some point to some degree even if he
217. 7:13didn't do the interview so it's like i
218. 7:15don't know
219. 7:16why you thought that would be a good
220. 7:18idea
221. 7:20and then you know there's of course the
222. 7:22polygraph test that you know
223. 7:23you never have to take one but
224. 7:27you know chris watts for some reason
225. 7:29thinks he can be
226. 7:30a polygraph test you know or maybe maybe
227. 7:33i don't know maybe he didn't know he had
228. 7:36didn't have to take it or you know he
229. 7:39didn't know that it couldn't be used as
230. 7:40evidence against him
231. 7:42in a potential trial i don't know and
232. 7:46again it just you know it just blows my
233. 7:48mind i can't fan them the fact that this
234. 7:5030 year old man this
235. 7:52grown man is adult and i mean chris
236. 7:54isn't the smartest guy in the world but
237. 7:57you know i don't think it takes that
238. 8:00smart
239. 8:01person to realize that his plan sucked
240. 8:04if it was planned you know
241. 8:08he drove his daughters
242. 8:11and his wife who was dead already
243. 8:15to that oil field and his work truck
244. 8:19that has a gps so it's like chris
245. 8:23what were you thinking did you not plan
246. 8:27this at all
247. 8:29did you not have any time to maybe
248. 8:32think between you murdering shanann
249. 8:35and leaving you know maybe like what
250. 8:38would be a good idea what's the best way
251. 8:40i can get away with this what are gonna
252. 8:41be gonna give me the best chance
253. 8:43to get away with this did you not think
254. 8:45about that
255. 8:47i don't know i wish i could ask him
256. 8:49these things
257. 8:50but i don't think he's gonna respond to
258. 8:52my letter
259. 8:55at this point it has been a while
260. 8:59so i don't think he's gonna get back to
261. 9:00me with those questions that i wrote
262. 9:02in a letter to him but again i would
263. 9:04still love to know
264. 9:06what his what was going through his mind
265. 9:09you know he's got the driveway cam the
266. 9:11gps he's like yeah i don't know where
267. 9:13i'm going man it'll be okay
268. 9:15no one's ever gonna find these bodies so
269. 9:18you know i i don't know i just can't
270. 9:20understand
271. 9:22and you know gives me a headache really
272. 9:24trying to think about it
273. 9:25i really try to put myself in his shoes
274. 9:27too and think man what would i do if i
275. 9:29was going to murder my wife and kids
276. 9:32which you know i don't have in real life
277. 9:33but let's pretend i do
278. 9:35it's like i don't think that's how i
279. 9:36would have done it man you know she's
280. 9:38got that doctor appointment
281. 9:39and it's like you know who nicole you
282. 9:42know who nicole atkinson is you know
283. 9:43she's gonna notice that
284. 9:45shenan's missing like you've met her
285. 9:46before and you know what kind of person
286. 9:48she is
287. 9:49and how close she is with shane so i
288. 9:51don't know how he didn't see
289. 9:53or think about that
290. 9:56you know i don't know how that slipped
291. 9:58his mind
292. 10:00you know obviously they know each other
293. 10:01because she was one of shernan's best
294. 10:03friends
295. 10:04so at what point why didn't you just say
296. 10:06like hey nicole
297. 10:07i'm giving shananna ride to her doctor's
298. 10:09appointment this morning you don't
299. 10:11you don't need to come by you can come
300. 10:12by later she'll give you a call
301. 10:15yeah so maybe she doesn't show up to the
302. 10:17house at like
303. 10:1810 a.m like five hours after the murder
304. 10:21to report it to the police maybe you can
305. 10:23buy yourself
306. 10:24a little more time to
307. 10:27you know come up with some way that's
308. 10:29going to reduce the chances to
309. 10:31any degree that you get caught you know
310. 10:33to make your things even the slightest
311. 10:35bit better for you
312. 10:37but of course chris didn't do any of
313. 10:39that you know he kind of just uh
314. 10:41did it and hoped he would get away with
315. 10:44it i think pretty much at the end of the
316. 10:46day
317. 10:48because yeah and you know
318. 10:51i will say this i know we've talked
319. 10:53about chris watts a ton
320. 10:56and i've called him an idiot and i've
321. 10:57seen a bunch of other people call him an
322. 10:59idiot
323. 11:00but i mean he's not that stupid i mean
324. 11:02he can get himself dressed
325. 11:04in the morning he had a job
326. 11:07it's like he's not that dumb but then
327. 11:09you see all these things that he's doing
328. 11:12you know right after the murder and it's
329. 11:14really confusing
330. 11:16like how how you uh get that idea in
331. 11:20your mind how do you come to that point
332. 11:21when you know you have a fully developed
333. 11:23brain
334. 11:25you're a fully developed human brain
335. 11:29and you think that this is a good idea
336. 11:32somehow you've
337. 11:33somehow convinced yourself that this
338. 11:35could work out for you
339. 11:38so that's why i'm interested in chris
340. 11:40watts to this day
341. 11:41and i know i'm never going to get those
342. 11:42answers so i'll probably be
343. 11:44interested in chris wants for a long
344. 11:46period of time
345. 11:49maybe if mine reading comes available
346. 11:53it'll let me free from the chris watts
347. 11:55case
348. 11:57but i don't think that's gonna happen i
349. 11:59think chris had a better chance of
350. 12:00getting away
351. 12:02with the murders and that so again
352. 12:05that's why i'm fascinated with chris
353. 12:06watts
354. 12:07just blows my mind i think i've repeated
355. 12:10myself a ton in this video but yeah
