- 0:00We sell micro development housing to
- 0:02investors.
- 0:02>> Micro development, okay.
- 0:04>> Yeah, so infill housing.
- 0:05Um we do 46 million in revenue. We like
- 0:07to get to 500 million.
- 0:09>> Cool.
- 0:09>> If possible. Um and our bottom neck is
- 0:12scaling capital and our team structure.
- 0:14So, they rely heavily on myself and my
- 0:16business partner.
- 0:17>> So, you should do the fundraising?
- 0:19>> Uh no, to do everything.
- 0:21>> [laughter]
- 0:22>> Yes.
- 0:23Fundraising is what we'd like to focus
- 0:24on.
- 0:25>> Heard. Okay, and so
- 0:28>> So, the question is how do we get Sharad
- 0:30to join us as a GP in our fund?
- 0:31>> Yeah.
- 0:33Sharad's Sharad's sneaking, yeah.
- 0:35>> But, our question would be is how do we
- 0:38uh attract high net worth individuals
- 0:40without using our personal network?
- 0:42>> Just talk to me.
- 0:43>> [laughter]
- 0:45>> Um
- 0:46I mean, you you have a you have a number
- 0:48of paths, right? One is somebody goes go
- 0:49to somebody who already has the has all
- 0:50these people, right? Option one, that's
- 0:52the affiliate model. You could run paid
- 0:54ads and say, "Hey, this is my
- 0:55experience, this is my background. If
- 0:56you're an accredited investor, check us
- 0:57out." Um or you could be making content,
- 0:59which I don't know if you are doing that
- 1:00on a regular basis. You could be making
- 1:02content. Um or you could do the outbound
- 1:04method. But, like those are fun like
- 1:05those are the options, right?
- 1:07>> Yeah.
- 1:08>> Okay. There's only there's only so many
- 1:09ways to get to like have people find out
- 1:11about your stuff. Um
- 1:14I mean, that's it. Like going to trade
- 1:15shows I still kind of put into like you
- 1:17pay somebody else to gain access to
- 1:18their audience, same same same idea. Um
- 1:21but, those are the those are the
- 1:22different paths. Um
- 1:24we have a really good kind of like
- 1:26playbook for for uh
- 1:30Because what you what you're looking for
- 1:31is kind of like high
- 1:32it works the same as an enterprise sale,
- 1:34even though it's a it feels different or
- 1:36like it it quacks different, it it's
- 1:37actually still the same process. Um
- 1:40and I think that
- 1:42if I had to like if I had no money, no
- 1:44everything, and I had to start now, and
- 1:45I was switching places with you, I would
- 1:47probably hit um the conference event
- 1:50stuff.
- 1:51>> Yeah.
- 1:51>> Because that's where it's just super
- 1:52high leverage. You typically want to be
- 1:54face-to-face with investors. They I
- 1:55mean, not you don't want to, but you
- 1:56can. Um and it's just like the speed to
- 1:58trust is so much faster.
- 2:00Yeah, we have a whole playbook around
- 2:02that, but you should um
- 2:04More than I can share right now in terms
- 2:06of time for everybody else, but I think
- 2:08if I had to pick one of those paths,
- 2:09that's probably the one I would start
- 2:10with
- 2:11unless you had some like background in
- 2:13like media buying or some other yeah.
- 2:15>> No, all right, perfect. Thank you.
- 2:16>> That's what I would do. Yeah. If you're
- 2:18not getting as many leads as you want
- 2:19and your business is demand constrained,
- 2:21meaning [music] you could service more
- 2:22customers than you currently have, then
- 2:24this is for you. So marketing is
- 2:26changing and I think ACQ tends to be on
- 2:28the bleeding edge of this stuff. We
- 2:29certainly spend the money
- 2:31to do it, but we also build custom
- 2:32software and we pay amazing vendors and
- 2:34very expensive people to figure out the
- 2:36system that we have right now and I want
- 2:37to share it with you kind of open kimono
- 2:38style. If you're not getting as many
- 2:39leads as you want,
- 2:41boy do I have the thing for you. Click
- 2:42below, book call and
- 2:44hopefully I'll see you in Vegas.
