  1. 0:00what's up everyone Jack hug here I have
  2. 0:02a very interesting topic to talk about
  3. 0:05today as you can see on my screen
  4. 0:07retiring from full-time day trading uh
  5. 0:11day trading something that I've done for
  6. 0:13the last seven full years this is my
  7. 0:16eighth year since the beginning of 2017
  8. 0:19on to my eth year and I'm going to make
  9. 0:22some serious changes in my trading this
  10. 0:25year and in my entire thought process
  11. 0:28behind the market um this doesn't mean
  12. 0:30that I'm never going to place a trade
  13. 0:32again this doesn't mean that I'm
  14. 0:34completely done with it 100% but this
  15. 0:36just means that I'm totally changing who
  16. 0:40I am as a Trader and who and who I want
  17. 0:42to be I don't want to be the full-time
  18. 0:44Trader who's sitting there all day
  19. 0:46grinding every single day to make money
  20. 0:49especially in this market so let's just
  21. 0:51get right into
  22. 0:55it so something I want to talk to you
  23. 0:58guys about is what
  24. 1:00were your goals before you started
  25. 1:02trading versus once you already become a
  26. 1:04consistently profitable Trader so I know
  27. 1:08this is a few goals that I had when I
  28. 1:10first started trading and really the
  29. 1:12main goal that I had was just to be my
  30. 1:14own boss right I wanted to control my
  31. 1:18own time I wanted to control how much
  32. 1:20money that I could possibly make I
  33. 1:21didn't want to cap I didn't want to have
  34. 1:23to wake up early driving to work I
  35. 1:25didn't want to have someone boss me
  36. 1:27around and tell me what to do I wanted
  37. 1:29to be myself because I have not had good
  38. 1:32experiences with bosses in the past um
  39. 1:35when I was doing my valet job and and
  40. 1:37other various jobs like
  41. 1:39that everyone just uh really treats you
  42. 1:43really poor if you that underman you
  43. 1:45know what I mean um so I wanted to be my
  44. 1:47own boss and I wanted to earn enough
  45. 1:50money to buy materialistic desires
  46. 1:54including cars
  47. 1:55watches um you spending money on
  48. 1:58traveling food in and various other
  49. 2:00things right
  50. 2:03um and then I wanted to uh trade to live
  51. 2:06you know what I mean I wanted to be able
  52. 2:07to take advantage of my life and not
  53. 2:09have to work um a 9
  54. 2:13to-5 and just continue to do that year
  55. 2:15after year after year till I'm 62 or 65
  56. 2:18I don't know what the retirement age is
  57. 2:19so that's also not something that I
  58. 2:22wanted to do trade for my family
  59. 2:24security I wanted to make sure that my
  60. 2:27family um doesn't have to worry
  61. 2:30about about money about paying the next
  62. 2:33Bills and create uh Financial Freedom
  63. 2:36for myself and my family so we don't
  64. 2:39have to worry about uh that kind of of
  65. 2:42money
  66. 2:43stress and as you can see the the verse
  67. 2:47here and as you become consistently
  68. 2:49profitable it's very easy to fall into
  69. 2:51this trap of your only goal is to make
  70. 2:54more money more money more money more
  71. 2:56money more money more money and before
  72. 2:58you know it all the things that you got
  73. 3:02into trading for you take for granted
  74. 3:04how many times you guys are all Traders
  75. 3:06how many times do you take a second to
  76. 3:08appreciate you're Your Own Boss how many
  77. 3:10times do you really do that how many
  78. 3:11times do you um appreciate all the
  79. 3:15little things that trading and this
  80. 3:17lifestyle gives you and I think the
  81. 3:19answer for for me and for a lot of you
  82. 3:22guys as well is that um you forget all
  83. 3:25this stuff and the only thing you're
  84. 3:26focused on is how much money can I make
  85. 3:28because reading is a very uh addictive
  86. 3:31and dopamine I don't know if that's a
  87. 3:34word game where you're just fueling your
  88. 3:37dopamine over and over and over and over
  89. 3:39again and it's very has a ton of
  90. 3:42adrenaline as well um at least the style
  91. 3:45of trading that I do I know there's some
  92. 3:46Traders out there that have systems and
  93. 3:48they're systematic and they have a
  94. 3:50process I'm talking about fully
  95. 3:52discretionary trading where you're
  96. 3:54making your own decision um you're
  97. 3:56sizing in maybe where you shouldn't you
  98. 3:57shouldn't necessarily be you're trying
  99. 3:59to get out of trades you're trying to
  100. 4:00maximize your winner minimize your
  101. 4:02losers uh and all that kind of stuff
  102. 4:05so moving on to the risk of trading
  103. 4:08right um let me kind of come back to the
  104. 4:11slide let me let me go to this slide
  105. 4:13first so the more you make the more risk
  106. 4:16that you have right here I have um 0 to
  107. 4:2130k right and if you have 30k you could
  108. 4:25only lose 30k right I mean you can
  109. 4:27technically go into debt to your
  110. 4:29brokerage if you're using leverage but
  111. 4:31um you know I'm not going to get into
  112. 4:34that don't recommend using that doing
  113. 4:36that um and then as you as you have
  114. 4:40300,000 you know your risk is
  115. 4:42essentially a lot more um because you
  116. 4:45can lose all 300K and you're taking
  117. 4:46bigger positions and then once you have
  118. 4:49uh $3
  119. 4:50million you can lose even more and that
  120. 4:55weight of risk uh becomes substantially
  121. 4:59inefficient in my opinion and not a lot
  122. 5:01of people talk about this um like if you
  123. 5:04lose 30k it's not going to change your
  124. 5:06life 30k is not that much money of
  125. 5:10course 30k is a decent amount of money
  126. 5:13um it's it's a healthy amount but if you
  127. 5:16lose 3 million and you have 3 million
  128. 5:19that's going to severely affect you a
  129. 5:21lot more than if you have 30k and you
  130. 5:22lose 30k so the more that you make the
  131. 5:26more risk you essentially have to
  132. 5:28yourself
  133. 5:30and then this this as well right I want
  134. 5:32people to understand the percentag of
  135. 5:34money right so if you have 30k to make
  136. 5:37300% that's relatively easy think about
  137. 5:40the number of traders that have already
  138. 5:42done that right there's so many traders
  139. 5:43that are out there that have been able
  140. 5:45to achieve this and then to make 300K
  141. 5:48300% on 300K that's also relatively
  142. 5:51pretty easy and a lot of Traders have
  143. 5:53done that but once you get up to making
  144. 5:55multiple millions of dollars to expect
  145. 5:57to make 300 or ,000 % like you did on
  146. 6:00your initial 30k it becomes
  147. 6:02substantially harder and it has um a ton
  148. 6:06of more risk and one thing that you got
  149. 6:08to remember is it only takes one 100%
  150. 6:12loss no matter how much money you have
  151. 6:14to wipe yourself completely out if you
  152. 6:16have 30k you lose 100% you're at zero if
  153. 6:18you have 3 million you lose 100% you're
  154. 6:19at zero but to grow that 30k into 3
  155. 6:23million um it takes a lot of work and it
  156. 6:26takes a lot of percentages
  157. 6:28compounded
  158. 6:30so getting back into the risk of trading
  159. 6:32these are some stocks that have happened
  160. 6:35within the last two years of 2022 in
  161. 6:382023 um they all were major short
  162. 6:42squeezes and they all took out a
  163. 6:45substantial amount of Traders I see many
  164. 6:48people losing um millions of dollars
  165. 6:51losing their entire accounts on these
  166. 6:53stocks
  167. 6:55and short selling is super super super
  168. 6:58risky and doing this is just not
  169. 7:01something that I ever want to partake in
  170. 7:05um no matter the amount of possible
  171. 7:07money is is all these stocks are going
  172. 7:09to zero right or close to zero um so
  173. 7:13everybody knows that it's it's a short
  174. 7:18and it doesn't matter if it's eventually
  175. 7:20going to zero because the risk of a
  176. 7:21potential squeeze and losing hundreds or
  177. 7:24thousands of percent is so high that any
  178. 7:27money that you can make on the downside
  179. 7:28is not worth it and it's proven time and
  180. 7:30time and time again to blow up traders
  181. 7:33to blow up short sellers to blow up
  182. 7:35people that trade my type of Niche so
  183. 7:39for me this is something that I will
  184. 7:40never be trading
  185. 7:45again and just to um something that a
  186. 7:48lot of people have to realize that
  187. 7:49nobody talks about right more money
  188. 7:51equals more stress equals more decisions
  189. 7:54equals harder to grow your capital and
  190. 7:56as you make more and more money it's
  191. 7:58going to become come way more stressful
  192. 8:01and not a lot of people uh talk about
  193. 8:03this a lot of people also say that you
  194. 8:05know when I got into trading I was like
  195. 8:07oh the more money the more relaxed in
  196. 8:09life that I could be the more chill that
  197. 8:11I can be which is a which is the case
  198. 8:13but not if you're trading because if
  199. 8:15you're trading you have a lot more
  200. 8:17potential mistakes to make your swings
  201. 8:19are going to be a lot higher uh you're
  202. 8:21going to make more you're going to lose
  203. 8:22more um you're going to be more mentally
  204. 8:24stressed out and you're going to have
  205. 8:26that energy just sucked right out of you
  206. 8:28into the market and you're not going to
  207. 8:30have time for anything else because
  208. 8:31you've used all of your stress
  209. 8:33mechanisms in your body
  210. 8:36to to trade and it's it's basically just
  211. 8:40absolute death and I hate it like I I
  212. 8:43literally hate trading um a substantial
  213. 8:45amount of money especially when the
  214. 8:48stocks that I love guys like you have to
  215. 8:50get this through your head is my stocks
  216. 8:52are OTC stocks over the market uh over
  217. 8:55the counter OTC stocks absolutely love
  218. 8:58them um I probably wouldn't be making
  219. 9:00this video If OTC still existed because
  220. 9:02that's where my Edge is and that's what
  221. 9:04I grew up trading and that's why I
  222. 9:05really love to trade I don't enjoy to
  223. 9:07trade Chinese scams I don't enjoy to
  224. 9:10trade the overall markets against
  225. 9:11billion dollar hedge funds I don't enjoy
  226. 9:13to trade small cap whipsaw stocks that
  227. 9:17stress you the the hell out because you
  228. 9:18never know if they're going to go
  229. 9:19thousands of percent against you without
  230. 9:20pulling back or if they're going to drop
  231. 9:22100% without giving a bounce um and you
  232. 9:26never know and you can essentially size
  233. 9:28in as much as you want into these stocks
  234. 9:30at least there's always a limit usually
  235. 9:31on OTC where there's just not enough
  236. 9:33volume to get the size that you want uh
  237. 9:36so in my opinion the OTC market has a
  238. 9:38lot less risk than any of these other
  239. 9:41markets because and also a lot more Edge
  240. 9:44so it's something that I know I said and
  241. 9:48a lot of other Traders said is we hate
  242. 9:50small cap stocks we were saying that
  243. 9:51three four five years ago um but as the
  244. 9:54otc's Disappeared everybody was just
  245. 9:56like oh I'll just trade NASDAQ right and
  246. 9:58nobody actually is talking about how
  247. 10:00shitty it is to trade those type of
  248. 10:02stocks nobody is out there saying um how
  249. 10:05bad it is everyone just acts like it's
  250. 10:06the new norm and it just blows my mind
  251. 10:09that all these Traders out there a lot
  252. 10:12of traders that I know they don't even
  253. 10:14you know mention that they miss OTC they
  254. 10:15don't even me mention it they just go
  255. 10:17with the flow and it's causing
  256. 10:19substantially more stress it's causing
  257. 10:21substantially less efficiency less
  258. 10:23profits and it's just not fun it's not
  259. 10:28enjoyable
  260. 10:30so I think a lot of Traders are addicted
  261. 10:33to trading 100% addicted and they don't
  262. 10:36even realize it or admit it to
  263. 10:38themselves so right here I have some uh
  264. 10:41things
  265. 10:42that of addictive uh personality traits
  266. 10:46right so oftentimes when I'm hanging out
  267. 10:47with Traders they're always on their
  268. 10:49phone they're they're scrolling through
  269. 10:50Twitter they're looking at stocks um a
  270. 10:53lot of Traders are like alcohol like
  271. 10:55they like to party they like to
  272. 10:56socialize to relax and they also love to
  273. 10:59eat a ton of food and and binge and eat
  274. 11:02after a bad loss order a pizza after a
  275. 11:04bad loss so right there
  276. 11:08um there's three things replacing sexual
  277. 11:11partners for a false celles of intimacy
  278. 11:13how many Traders out there are buying um
  279. 11:16are buying girls out there it's they
  280. 11:18have the money for it right it doesn't
  281. 11:19matter that's another thing that I've a
  282. 11:21ton of people do and pulse spying
  283. 11:23excessive shopping another thing that
  284. 11:25people are doing that are trading you
  285. 11:26know gambling taking bad trades obs
  286. 11:29tessing over the market excessive
  287. 11:30risk-taking drug use for coping Never
  288. 11:33Satisfied feeling or needing more of a
  289. 11:34particular feeling that's why you need
  290. 11:36to make more more more more more and
  291. 11:38iLab to stop using harmful chemicals as
  292. 11:41as drugs and ability to curtail other uh
  293. 11:44harmful activities right maybe not all
  294. 11:46of these things you fall under but if
  295. 11:48you have more than 50% of these um
  296. 11:53addictive personality traits I would say
  297. 11:55that you're probably addicted to trading
  298. 11:58and for me I had a lot of these
  299. 12:01personality traits um not all of them
  300. 12:04but over 50% and I was an addict to
  301. 12:09trading and I did it every single day
  302. 12:11pretty much for seven years straight to
  303. 12:14chase that money to chase making more
  304. 12:16and more and more and chasing that
  305. 12:18dopamine and um gambling you know what I
  306. 12:21mean people it's very easy to fall
  307. 12:23addicted to gambling and trading
  308. 12:26essentially is gambling it is gambling
  309. 12:28with odds and you do have an edge in the
  310. 12:30market often times but at the end of the
  311. 12:32day it's still gambling and you never
  312. 12:33know if you're going to be right or if
  313. 12:35you're going to be wrong
  314. 12:37100% unless you're cheating with inside
  315. 12:39information you know so who really
  316. 12:42retires from Trading let me know comment
  317. 12:44down below who do you know that's really
  318. 12:46retired from Trading I think I can count
  319. 12:48on one hand maybe I think I could maybe
  320. 12:50count one or two traders that have
  321. 12:52really actually retired um from Trading
  322. 12:55after making it I know plenty of Traders
  323. 12:57out there that are
  324. 12:59in their 30s 40s 50s 60s who are still
  325. 13:02doing it to this day even though they
  326. 13:04have an absurd amount of money and they
  327. 13:06don't need any more money they're not
  328. 13:08their lives are not going to change
  329. 13:10unless there's something unless you want
  330. 13:11a private jet or if you want a yacht or
  331. 13:14if you want these crazy things that
  332. 13:15aren't going to make you happy at the
  333. 13:16end of the day anyway um they're chasing
  334. 13:20those they're they're cha they keep
  335. 13:22chasing chasing chasing chasing chasing
  336. 13:24and for me I'm 25 and I can still make a
  337. 13:28decision to not be trading full-time uh
  338. 13:31from here on out because for me it's not
  339. 13:33worth it anymore it's not something that
  340. 13:35I'm super passionate about you change as
  341. 13:37a person you change your personality as
  342. 13:39you grow and as you you start to realize
  343. 13:42what's really important and trading for
  344. 13:44me that was my entire life in uh 2017 18
  345. 13:4819 20 and 21 in the last two years I've
  346. 13:51been really working through these bumps
  347. 13:53and it's been hard for me to to quit
  348. 13:56this addiction of trading and it's it's
  349. 13:58been been very very very difficult and
  350. 14:00it's very difficult for a lot of other
  351. 14:02Traders because as you get better at
  352. 14:03trading you get trading friends you get
  353. 14:05into this this habit of waking up and
  354. 14:07trading every single day
  355. 14:10and sometimes you like I said people
  356. 14:12just don't realize that they are
  357. 14:14addicted they don't realize what their
  358. 14:16life could be like without trading um
  359. 14:18there's plenty of things to to stay busy
  360. 14:21with which I'll get into um in a little
  361. 14:24bit and I just wanted to go into nobody
  362. 14:26talks about this stuff like there's this
  363. 14:28is probably one of the first YouTube
  364. 14:30videos um out there that's going to talk
  365. 14:32about why I'm retiring how I'm retiring
  366. 14:36and um why I think that you guys should
  367. 14:39realize that you also are addicted to
  368. 14:43trading um how much money do you really
  369. 14:45need right this is a question that I
  370. 14:47think a lot of people need to ask
  371. 14:49themselves like is another 100K 1 mil or
  372. 14:5110 mil going to substantially change
  373. 14:52your life and think about if all that
  374. 14:55time spent on making the money is going
  375. 14:58to be worth it or not right and will
  376. 15:01missing a trade in the market really
  377. 15:03change your life I used to get super
  378. 15:05super upset with myself I used to um
  379. 15:08jeopardize my health jeopardize my
  380. 15:10relationships jeopardize everything in
  381. 15:13my life just so I wouldn't miss a trade
  382. 15:15and that's that fuel and that's that um
  383. 15:18energy you do need to be successful but
  384. 15:20you got to be very careful um there's a
  385. 15:23very fine line uh with trading and if
  386. 15:26you just if you take one Raw step in the
  387. 15:30wrong direction everything could crumble
  388. 15:32and that's the thing that I want to get
  389. 15:33back to once again let's go back to this
  390. 15:36this slide it only takes one 100% loss
  391. 15:39to lose everything everything could be
  392. 15:41gone and living with that constant
  393. 15:43stress is not fun it's not enjoyable
  394. 15:48um and here's another thing I I often
  395. 15:50hear people complain about and people
  396. 15:52are always complaining oh if I if I
  397. 15:54waited one hour longer to cover I I
  398. 15:56would have would have changed my I would
  399. 15:57have made a ton more money uh if I if I
  400. 15:59just held this stock for three more days
  401. 16:01I would have made X Y and Z if I held
  402. 16:03this options trade for three more hours
  403. 16:05I would have made 20,000% or whatever it
  404. 16:07is and my question for you is is that
  405. 16:10stress of thinking about um how much
  406. 16:16more you could have made really going to
  407. 16:18change your life like are any is any
  408. 16:21amount of this money going to change
  409. 16:22your life and this pressure that you put
  410. 16:24on yourself is it going to change your
  411. 16:25life let me know down in the comments
  412. 16:27below um and then I have just some other
  413. 16:31questions to ask yourself will stressing
  414. 16:32out change your life yes it will stress
  415. 16:34is the worst thing for the body I I've
  416. 16:37been stressed out for years years years
  417. 16:39years years and it substantially uh
  418. 16:43takes a toll on your health and it it
  419. 16:45takes a toll on your relationships it
  420. 16:47takes a toll on your energy for the day
  421. 16:49I remember when I was trading hardcore I
  422. 16:51had no energy for anything else waking
  423. 16:53up in the middle at 4:00 a.m. to check
  424. 16:54quote and it's just not fun like it's
  425. 16:58absolute hell um and then I have well
  426. 17:00getting into an argument with your
  427. 17:02family change your life because of
  428. 17:03you're emotionally burnt out you're
  429. 17:05stressed out um you don't want to miss
  430. 17:07this trade and yes that's something that
  431. 17:08will actually change your life right
  432. 17:11trading doesn't matter money doesn't
  433. 17:12matter of course it matters a little bit
  434. 17:14but it's just one building block of of
  435. 17:17your life and the mental Capital
  436. 17:20drainage will definitely change your
  437. 17:22life and it's going to make you not have
  438. 17:23the ability to do things that you enjoy
  439. 17:25in life it's going to wear you out and
  440. 17:27it's going to beat you up and it's
  441. 17:29really really just a toxic addiction
  442. 17:32that nobody
  443. 17:35realizes so I haven't traded um since
  444. 17:39early November we're now uh into Jan uh
  445. 17:42early January mid January um and it's
  446. 17:45approaching two months for me right
  447. 17:46around the two months of no trading um
  448. 17:49and there was a lot of things that I had
  449. 17:51to do within the last two years to
  450. 17:53really take this retirement path that I
  451. 17:56wanted to take so bad and before for me
  452. 17:58it was always I had to do something
  453. 18:00crazy I had to go travel um travel the
  454. 18:03world go somewhere crazy where the time
  455. 18:05zones messed up and I I physically um
  456. 18:08I'm so tired that I don't want to trade
  457. 18:10um where sometimes I would still find a
  458. 18:13way to trade if the opportunity was was
  459. 18:15good enough and I couldn't fully detach
  460. 18:17and something that I had to do this year
  461. 18:19was I had to admit that I'm addicted to
  462. 18:20trading I'm straight up I was addicted
  463. 18:22to trading and
  464. 18:25um I think also another thing that you
  465. 18:28subconsciously sometimes a lot of people
  466. 18:30have to do is you have to take a loss
  467. 18:31and get annoyed from Trading because we
  468. 18:33love it as Traders so much we love
  469. 18:35trading so without taking a loss um
  470. 18:42sometimes sometimes you can't back down
  471. 18:45or quit without taking that really
  472. 18:47infuriating loss that's going to push
  473. 18:49you over the edge and this can be
  474. 18:50avoided and I think a lot of people um
  475. 18:53should realize this like I realized the
  476. 18:56last several months I had just been kind
  477. 18:57of trading
  478. 18:59and trading kind of to lose you know
  479. 19:01what I mean like trading to I didn't
  480. 19:03really want to make money because I knew
  481. 19:05the money wouldn't change my life
  482. 19:06anymore you know what I mean
  483. 19:09um there was no amount of money that I
  484. 19:12really could have made that I felt like
  485. 19:14would have changed my life in any
  486. 19:16substantial way uh and really the main
  487. 19:19thing that I did was I started slowly
  488. 19:21defunding my accounts I had uh seven
  489. 19:25multi7 figure account to start the year
  490. 19:27and then wired out some for taxes I was
  491. 19:29like oh this feels nice keep it going
  492. 19:31more and more and more wired out more
  493. 19:32and more and more and more and
  494. 19:34eventually I just had 100K then 30k and
  495. 19:37then I was just like I'm putting it to
  496. 19:38zero so the same way that I sized up I
  497. 19:41also sized down and now my accounts are
  498. 19:43at zero my accounts have been at zero
  499. 19:45for two months I haven't wired in I
  500. 19:47don't want to wire in um I've somewhat
  501. 19:51broken the addiction I think to trading
  502. 19:53I haven't had I've been able to watch
  503. 19:55the market now without wanting to trade
  504. 19:58and if I'm
  505. 19:59feeling like I want to trade or if I'm I
  506. 20:02have a lot of anxiety filled thoughts on
  507. 20:04my mind I'll just Journal I'll write
  508. 20:06down uh how I'm feeling or whatever and
  509. 20:09I'll I'll write down I don't need to
  510. 20:10trade and remind myself all of the
  511. 20:13reasons that I just went over of why I
  512. 20:17don't want to trade another thing that I
  513. 20:19had to do was leave all trading related
  514. 20:21discords in chat rooms so it's very hard
  515. 20:24to quit when you're seeing opportunity
  516. 20:26you're seeing people make money you're
  517. 20:27like oh I could have made money there I
  518. 20:29could have made money there whatever it
  519. 20:31was and it's very easy for those
  520. 20:34thoughts to overcome your thoughts of
  521. 20:37wanting to quit because your bar your
  522. 20:40brain is um your brain has dopamine
  523. 20:44receptors and it wants that dopamine
  524. 20:46really bad and you're starving it from
  525. 20:48that gambling you're starving it from um
  526. 20:51giving yourself that sense of
  527. 20:52satisfaction of making money and then um
  528. 20:55asking close friends and family not to
  529. 20:57talk to me about trading I don't want to
  530. 20:58know what's going on in the market I
  531. 20:59want to take a break I want to um not
  532. 21:03think about it
  533. 21:06and
  534. 21:08um another one was I want to prove
  535. 21:10everyone wrong because everyone's like
  536. 21:12oh you're a Trader you're just going to
  537. 21:13come back oh um yeah okay heard that one
  538. 21:16before that you're quitting heard that
  539. 21:18one that uh you're retiring before heard
  540. 21:20that one that um you're going to do it
  541. 21:22whatever and nobody believes you right
  542. 21:23because that's the number one uh thing
  543. 21:26Traders can't do because you're not
  544. 21:28essentially retiring or quitting trading
  545. 21:31you're trying to break an addiction
  546. 21:33that's the that's actually what's going
  547. 21:35on and to break addictions it's very
  548. 21:37hard look at all the drug addicts out
  549. 21:39there um or whatever other kind of
  550. 21:41addictions that that humans have or you
  551. 21:43have it's very hard to break especially
  552. 21:46one that you've been doing um for seven
  553. 21:48years the longer it's taken place the
  554. 21:50harder it's going to be to to break
  555. 21:52because it's just part of you and your
  556. 21:54brain has
  557. 21:57um the dopamine receptors like I was
  558. 22:00saying and it wants to feed that energy
  559. 22:03and it's created these Pathways in your
  560. 22:05brain to continue to provide you with
  561. 22:07that addiction and it's it wants you to
  562. 22:10go back at all costs to to trade and to
  563. 22:14uh have this
  564. 22:16addiction
  565. 22:19so as you make more and more money think
  566. 22:21about other ways to make money it
  567. 22:23doesn't have to be um just day trading
  568. 22:26you know what I mean there's a lot of
  569. 22:28other ways especially in this current
  570. 22:29environment right now with interest
  571. 22:31rates High bonds money market funds
  572. 22:33savings accounts are earning 4 to 5%
  573. 22:35throughout the last couple
  574. 22:37years and um 4 to 5% is is not a lot
  575. 22:42like I said uh for people with uh 30 uh
  576. 22:4640 uh 200k whatever it is but as you
  577. 22:49make more and more um every million
  578. 22:51dollars think about that's 50k per year
  579. 22:54right and that's a few thousand doll um
  580. 22:57per month which can pay for your rent
  581. 23:00which can pay for your lifestyle and
  582. 23:02then um peer-to-peer lending lending
  583. 23:04money out to uh to various um businesses
  584. 23:08or whatever really um getting that 10 to
  585. 23:1220% on your money which is a little bit
  586. 23:14more risky uh but that also can pay for
  587. 23:17your lifestyle real estate investing
  588. 23:19long-term dividend stocks um teaching my
  589. 23:22trading skills and DVDs to make a
  590. 23:23paycheck crypto watches and medals I
  591. 23:25have all these things and also things
  592. 23:28that I other things that I have too with
  593. 23:30all this I can pay for my lifestyle over
  594. 23:33and over and over again per month so
  595. 23:35it's like why are you going to trade to
  596. 23:37stress yourself out if and especially if
  597. 23:39you're not enjoying it when you can use
  598. 23:41your money and invest in other ways and
  599. 23:43possibly make 10 12% per year on your
  600. 23:46money whereas as you gain more and more
  601. 23:48money trading you're not going to be
  602. 23:50able to compound 300% per year like I
  603. 23:52was saying um for me if I made 300% on
  604. 23:55my net worth trading like I think it's
  605. 23:58almost impossible um in one year to do
  606. 24:01in this market especially without my
  607. 24:03niche of OTC penny stocks
  608. 24:06so just some food for thought and and
  609. 24:09something that also some people should
  610. 24:11should think about like once you have
  611. 24:13even $2 million right if you're making
  612. 24:1610% on your net worth that's 200k which
  613. 24:19is 158k per month just under 20K per
  614. 24:23month um and it's just a substantial
  615. 24:27amount of money that you can live your
  616. 24:29life off of and not de start decreasing
  617. 24:31your net
  618. 24:33worth and then a lot of people ask me
  619. 24:36like how have you been staying busy and
  620. 24:37honestly it hasn't been hard for me at
  621. 24:39all I was only trading one two three
  622. 24:41hours per day so I've replaced that here
  623. 24:43in the winter um I've been going to the
  624. 24:46gym a lot for one one to two hours
  625. 24:48taking a drive um and not having fomo to
  626. 24:53trade um not I'd hop on talk to my
  627. 24:55friends now at this point two months in
  628. 24:57I can talk about trading with friends
  629. 24:59and I don't have the urge to trade
  630. 25:01anymore um another thing that I've been
  631. 25:04doing as of recently is skiing I've been
  632. 25:06skiing five times this year already five
  633. 25:08days of the year and we're just into
  634. 25:10early January I've never been able to
  635. 25:12really ski before because I've always
  636. 25:14been stressed out I've always been tired
  637. 25:16from Trading during the week December
  638. 25:17January and February are statistically
  639. 25:19my best months so I've just always
  640. 25:21thrown skiing out the window and not
  641. 25:23really um explored it too much just
  642. 25:25going a few times per year but this time
  643. 25:27I'm on Pace to probably ski 10 to 15
  644. 25:30days uh of the Year and that ecstatics
  645. 25:33me because I love it I love being out in
  646. 25:34the mountains skiing um being out there
  647. 25:36with my friends uh family and just not
  648. 25:39thinking about um anything but that next
  649. 25:42that next movement in my skis and just
  650. 25:44going down and and really enjoying
  651. 25:46beautiful mountains in nature um been
  652. 25:49playing a little bit of video games uh
  653. 25:51cooking I have my quads in the summer as
  654. 25:54well as my um fishing boat um going to
  655. 25:57do a lot of fish fishing have golf
  656. 25:58there's plenty of things to do um and
  657. 26:01really just en enjoy um enjoy your life
  658. 26:05you know what I mean and
  659. 26:07uh so that's my entire rant
  660. 26:10there
  661. 26:12um looks like we've been running for
  662. 26:14about 26 minutes now but I think I've
  663. 26:17gotten a lot of my thoughts out there uh
  664. 26:20for you guys and maybe I can Inspire
  665. 26:24even if it's just one person um out
  666. 26:26there that's that's looking for that can
  667. 26:29resonate with with some of the stuff
  668. 26:31that I said um and it's also uh helping
  669. 26:35me with getting my thoughts out of me um
  670. 26:38so my plan basically for 2024 and this
  671. 26:41year is just a part-time trade right I'm
  672. 26:44going to fund my account with a small
  673. 26:46amount and I'm going to look at trading
  674. 26:48as a bucket of income right I have my
  675. 26:50other Investments and trading is just
  676. 26:53another uh investment or it's a bucket
  677. 26:55of income that I possibly can make and
  678. 26:57and I'm not going to be full-time
  679. 26:59trading I'm not going to be showing up
  680. 27:01to the market every single day having
  681. 27:02fomo to hit every single play I'm
  682. 27:05maturing and I don't want to be addicted
  683. 27:07to trading anymore I I want to just
  684. 27:09enjoy my life and you know I'm 25 and if
  685. 27:13I play my cards
  686. 27:15correctly
  687. 27:17I can live my life and I can pay for my
  688. 27:20lifestyle through Investments I can pay
  689. 27:22with my lifestyle through um teaching
  690. 27:24people the information that I know
  691. 27:26because it's super valuable the
  692. 27:28information I know is super valuable I
  693. 27:29went from 30k to 12 million gross
  694. 27:33um and I'm I've been teaching people I
  695. 27:37have my investments and I'm going to be
  696. 27:38trading part-time stay in the market and
  697. 27:41I never want it to go back to the way
  698. 27:43that I was the way that I was was uh
  699. 27:46super unhealthy and you only need to to
  700. 27:49do this for a few years you just got to
  701. 27:50make sure that you're able to quit and
  702. 27:53you're able to move on from this because
  703. 27:56like I said before you know you're 45
  704. 27:59and you're like damn I really wasted 20
  705. 28:01years continuing to trade to chase um
  706. 28:04another 30 million bucks and maybe one
  707. 28:07day when you're 45 you make a mistake
  708. 28:09and you lose $15 million you never know
  709. 28:11what can happen in the market it's super
  710. 28:13super risky so just be safe really
  711. 28:16protect yourself guys and uh just go out
  712. 28:19there and live your best life because
  713. 28:21that's the life that's worth living and
  714. 28:23remember the goals you had for when you
  715. 28:26first started trading other than that
  716. 28:28I'm out of here enjoy the long weekend
  717. 28:30and don't be a super djen this year in
  718. 28:3324
