  1. 0:00Buy [ __ ] from your friends' businesses
  2. 0:03and try to get free [ __ ] from strangers,
  3. 0:06not the other way around. This is one of
  4. 0:09the big things that drives me absolutely
  5. 0:10[ __ ] insane. People try to get free
  6. 0:13[ __ ] from their friends who are starting
  7. 0:14businesses, and then they buy [ __ ] from
  8. 0:16strangers' businesses. Reverse it. Try
  9. 0:18to
  10. 0:21support the business. Like, the best
  11. 0:23thing you can possibly do is give them
  12. 0:25money, take the product, leave a review.
  13. 0:27And if you really are good friends and
  14. 0:28they don't have a high ego, give them
  15. 0:30good feedback on the product and tell
  16. 0:32them what could be better. Right? Now,
  17. 0:33only do that part if they ask for it.
  18. 0:35All right? Cuz otherwise, they might get
  19. 0:36weird about it cuz some people, you
  20. 0:37know, treat their products like their
  21. 0:38kids. Um they don't want criticism.
  22. 0:40Fine. But at the very least, buy it,
  23. 0:43leave a review. I actually I'm like such
  24. 0:44a stickler with this cuz I have a lot of
  25. 0:46people who offer free stuff. Um
  26. 0:48and I always pay
  27. 0:51um
  28. 0:51because I'm such a believer in this. And
  29. 0:54I also, as a side note, I don't want a
  30. 0:55free deck. Right? I don't know if you've
  31. 0:57heard this this expression, but
  32. 0:58basically it's like uh the giver of the
  33. 1:01free deck um is giving you something,
  34. 1:04and they're let's say they're, you know,
  35. 1:05working all day, and then they go and
  36. 1:06work on your free deck later because
  37. 1:08they have their paying customers. And
  38. 1:10then you, the friend who gets the free
  39. 1:12deck, wants a really high-quality deck,
  40. 1:14but your friend is giving you the scraps
  41. 1:16because it's free. You're frustrated cuz
  42. 1:18you don't get the quality deck that you
  43. 1:19want. He's frustrated cuz you don't
  44. 1:20appreciate that it's free. And both of
  45. 1:22you are pissed off. When it would be so
  46. 1:24much better if you're like, "Hey, Tony,
  47. 1:25you're my homie. I'm going to pay you,
  48. 1:27and I'm just going to expect that
  49. 1:28because I'm also your friend, you're
  50. 1:29going to do a good job anyways." And
  51. 1:30it's just like it becomes a plus-plus
  52. 1:32relationship rather than neutralizing.
  53. 1:34Couldn't can't be more aggressive about
  54. 1:36that one. If you like this video and
  55. 1:37you're business owner who wants to break
  56. 1:38through your current revenue ceiling, I
  57. 1:40distilled every lesson from scaling 10
  58. 1:41businesses past 10 million and three
  59. 1:43businesses past 100 million into a
  60. 1:45completely free scaling road map that
  61. 1:47I've used to go from zero to one, zero
  62. 1:48to 10, and zero to 100 plus. And so, you
