- 0:00you delivered on it well. Okay. So, so
- 0:02big picture
- 0:04I want you to erase the other games from
- 0:06your mind for a moment. I want you to
- 0:09make an offer to the existing audience
- 0:10for the two more games that are coming
- 0:12down the line so you can generate some
- 0:13cash. I want you to not think about
- 0:15anything that's not now those two other
- 0:17games. With this extra cash, then
- 0:20we have to look at what is the thing
- 0:22that has taken the majority of your
- 0:23time.
- 0:25>> Mhm. [clears throat]
- 0:26>> And that's going to be that first hire,
- 0:27but what's the What is that thing that's
- 0:29taking most of your time that that makes
- 0:30you the least money?
- 0:32>> Most of it was customer support for like
- 0:34the first 4 months.
- 0:37Yeah, it was intense. So, I got a
- 0:40contractor that could
- 0:41answer emails, but still like a
- 0:43part-time contractor.
- 0:44>> Okay.
- 0:45>> So, I think that's the lowest-hanging
- 0:46fruit.
- 0:47>> Yeah.
- 0:48>> Also, running ads. Like I'm actually not
- 0:50very good at running ads.
- 0:51>> Yeah.
- 0:52>> I've ran the same same
- 0:54creative for a year and it still
- 0:57performed.
- 0:58>> Yeah.
- 0:58>> Thank god. Um
- 1:00>> Thank god.
- 1:00>> So, yeah, I know.
- 1:03Uh so, that that's another thing that
- 1:05takes up a ton of my time and I'm also
- 1:07not the best at it, too. Like I know
- 1:08that.
- 1:09>> Yeah.
- 1:09>> Um
- 1:10and then just other operational like
- 1:13trying to get the business like actually
- 1:16up and running
- 1:17as far as just all the back-end
- 1:19operations, fulfillment, logistics.
- 1:22>> Dude, I think you're spending a lot of
- 1:23time being distracted because right now
- 1:24you have no employees and you like
- 1:28you have added complexity to your life
- 1:30and I think you've spent a lot of time
- 1:32not sure what to do and that is what's
- 1:33eating your time.
- 1:36>> That's 100% Yeah. It's like a juggling
- 1:38act.
- 1:38>> Yeah, which means you need clarity,
- 1:40right? Anxiety comes from a lot of
- 1:42different actions and no priorities.
- 1:45>> Mhm.
- 1:45>> That's where anxiety comes from. That's
- 1:46what you're feeling right now.
- 1:48And to eliminate anxiety, you do that
- 1:50through subtraction.
- 1:52You need to take things away.
- 1:55>> Yeah.
- 1:56>> All right. So, there there's two
- 1:58versions of this reality. I would prefer
- 1:59you get some cash up front, but that
- 2:01does increase the load because you're
- 2:02going to have these two other things
- 2:03that you're going to have to now deliver
- 2:04on, right? So, that's the that's the
- 2:05trade there. The alternative version of
- 2:07this, like if Layla were sitting next to
- 2:08me, what she would probably say is
- 2:11forget the other four games exist.
- 2:13I'll tell like I I can play both hats
- 2:15because Layla and I know each other's
- 2:16advice good enough at this point. I'm
- 2:18I'm a yes hinge person, she's a no hinge
- 2:19person, which is why we work well. She
- 2:21would probably say, "Hey,
- 2:23don't do anything with those four
- 2:25because they're probably going to suck
- 2:26because you're going to get feedback
- 2:27from the first one. Uh how much cash do
- 2:29you have of that 1.3?"
- 2:32>> Out of the 1.3, uh about 150.
- 2:35>> Jeez, bro. How much did you spend on
- 2:38these other four games?
- 2:41>> The other four, I'm probably about
- 2:45over
- 2:47probably about
- 2:48150 as well, actually. Yeah.
- 2:51>> Well, then what did you I mean, can you
- 2:52deliver the games that you promised with
- 2:54the cash you have?
- 2:56>> Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:58>> Well, then bro, deliver the games.
- 2:59>> paid for all of it.
- 3:00>> Well, just like
- 3:02your entire objective in life right now
- 3:03is just deliver the games.
- 3:05>> Yep.
- 3:06>> All right. And so, you said there's like
- 3:08operations. It's like, "Dude, you have
- 3:09no employees. What is the operations?"
- 3:11>> Right.
- 3:12>> It's like and literally the delivery for
- 3:14you thing is shipping, which you're not
- 3:15probably handling.
- 3:18>> Yeah, I I have some fulfillment partners
- 3:20that I'm managing, but they also do the
- 3:22freight, too, that I'm doing.
- 3:24>> Well, yeah, but that's Do you hear what
- 3:25I'm saying here? Like, you you've added
- 3:26you added endless complexity to a
- 3:28business where people made a purchase,
- 3:29you send them a cardboard box with toys
- 3:31in it.
- 3:32>> Yep.
- 3:33>> Right.
- 3:34And so, you got some people in between
- 3:35that are asking for refunds. Great, hire
- 3:36virtual assistant, they can respond to
- 3:38the emails. Now what?
- 3:40>> Yeah. Oh, virtual assistant. Yeah,
- 3:42that's
- 3:45Cool.
- 3:46>> What else we got?
- 3:48>> I mean, uh long term though
- 3:51>> [laughter]
- 3:52>> I'm not worried about long-term, dude.
- 3:53You're worried about long-term, and
- 3:55long-term is killing your short-term,
- 3:56which is going to prevent your
- 3:57long-term.
- 3:58>> Yeah.
- 3:59Yeah.
- 4:00>> You need You made a promise. You got to
- 4:02deliver on the promise. Once you do
- 4:04that, you can have a full accounting of
- 4:05how much cash you got left. Then, you
- 4:07can spend that extra cash on these other
- 4:09things that you've developed, which you
- 4:10will probably tweak based on the
- 4:12feedback you get from your customers.
- 4:14>> Right. Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:16I mean, we are going to be delivering in
- 4:17the next month or so. So, like,
- 4:19manufacturing is wrapping up, and it's
- 4:21going to be on boats. So, it's it's
- 4:23practically there.
- 4:24Um
- 4:25so, I'm basically looking at the next
- 4:26step off.
- 4:27>> Yeah.
- 4:28>> And I'm mid-Kickstarter right now for
- 4:30that second game. Um and it and it's
- 4:32performing exactly the same as the first
- 4:34one. Um so, that's that's also
- 4:36>> I think you should join a community
- 4:38>> Very good.
- 4:38>> that
- 4:39uh like join something specific to
- 4:41Facebook ads if you want.
- 4:43Um
- 4:44So, that you can learn how to run ads.
- 4:46Like, to me, that is by far the biggest
- 4:47lever that you are missing right now.
- 4:49Obviously, you can look at Qualium in
- 4:50terms of how we do our like mass
- 4:52production of ads and content. Um
- 4:55like, there's tons of stuff inside of
- 4:56Entourage about that.
- 4:58Um
- 4:58>> Yeah.
- 4:58>> And like, that is what like when you're
- 4:59like, I don't like You said You said ads
- 5:01are taking a lot of your time, but you
- 5:02also said you only have one one one ad
- 5:04that's converting. So, like, it sounds
- 5:05like you're just staring at it saying
- 5:06like, "There's something that should
- 5:07happen here, and I don't know what to
- 5:08do." You need to go learn and
- 5:10experiment. You have to try [ __ ]
- 5:12>> Right. Yeah. I've been doing some
- 5:15experimental stuff, but um not at mass
- 5:18[clears throat]
- 5:18scale that
- 5:19>> Give yourself
- 5:20>> answers.
- 5:20>> Here's something tactical. Give yourself
- 5:22a learning budget on ads. Pick a number
- 5:24that you don't care about too much. So,
- 5:26a thousand, two thousand, five thousand,
- 5:28ten thousand dollars a month.
- 5:29And take that number and be willing to
- 5:32lose 100% of it
- 5:33learning how to run ads.
- 5:36>> Cool.
- 5:37>> And that means that you can experiment.
- 5:39So, of that of that X dollars per month,
- 5:41take 70% put it towards things that are
- 5:43almost identical to the winner. 20% is
- 5:46adjacent, and then 10 is just wild
- 5:47[ __ ] ideas.
- 5:50>> Okay.
- 5:50>> All right. That's your tactical thing.
- 5:52Do not worry about the other four games.
- 5:54Make sure you complete your promises in
- 5:55the first thing. And you as an
- 5:57entrepreneur, you need to focus on one
- 5:58thing at a time, dude.
- 5:59Like you would like Hewlett or Packard
- 6:02had this quote,
- 6:03um which is businesses die from
- 6:05indigestion, not starvation. We take on
- 6:07too much, not too little. That is how
- 6:10businesses die because you get spread
- 6:11too thin and you can't focus on
- 6:12anything.
- 6:13That's where the anxiety comes from. You
- 6:14have to eliminate it.
- 6:16>> Yeah, I like it. That's good.
- 6:18>> All right. Appreciate you, brother.
- 6:19>> Appreciate it.
- 6:20>> Yep.
- 6:20>> All right.
- 6:21>> Rock and roll.
- 6:21>> We'll see you.
- 6:22>> All right. If you like this video and
- 6:24you're a business owner who wants to
- 6:25break through your current revenue
- 6:26ceiling, I just spilled every lesson
- 6:27from scaling 10 businesses past 18
- 6:29million and three businesses past 100
- 6:31million into a completely free scaling
- 6:33road map that I've used to go from zero
- 6:34to one, zero to 10, and zero to 100
