4. 0:06God created each person unique.
5. 0:10Some he created beautiful, some he
6. 0:12created ugly in appearance.
7. 0:14Do you think it is unjust to those who
8. 0:16do not have nice looks
9. 0:18and skin color?
10. 0:20These days looks matter to everyone
11. 0:24while choosing life partner or for a job
12. 0:26in a company. Do you not think it's hard
13. 0:28to deal for those people who do not have
14. 0:30good appearance or good looks?
15. 0:38What did the Shahid that asked a
16. 0:39question
17. 0:41that Allah has created everyone unique
18. 0:42and I agree with him. Some people he has
19. 0:44created beautiful, some normal, some
20. 0:45ugly. So, it is isn't it injustice for
21. 0:48those who are ugly?
22. 0:50And
23. 0:51he gives two examples that when you go
24. 0:53to marry, but natural, the people who
25. 0:55are good looking are at advantage and
26. 0:57when you go for a job, good looking
27. 0:59people are at advantage, the beautiful
28. 1:01women are better.
29. 1:04So, isn't Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala knows
30. 1:06we love you injustice?
31. 1:08Before I give the complete answer, I
32. 1:09will come to the two examples what the
33. 1:11brother has said. The first example he
34. 1:13gave and I do agree that God has created
35. 1:15everyone unique. Even the fingerprints
36. 1:17of every individual
37. 1:19Allah says in the Quran in Surah Insan,
38. 1:21chapter number 76,
39. 1:24verse number two, that
40. 1:27when they ask how will Allah be able to
41. 1:30reconstruct our bones? That's Surah
42. 1:32Insan, chapter number 75, verse number
43. 1:34three and four.
44. 1:35How will Allah be able to reconstruct
45. 1:37our bones after we have died and after
46. 1:39we have been buried
47. 1:41in the earth? Allah says, "Tell them
48. 1:43Allah can not only reconstruct the
49. 1:45bones, he can even reconstruct in
50. 1:47perfect order the very tips of the
51. 1:49finger."
52. 1:50And today we know even in a million
53. 1:52people
54. 1:53the two fingerprints aren't identical.
55. 1:56As far as the looks are concerned, I
56. 1:57agree.
57. 1:58Allah has created looks unique. There
58. 2:00may be few people looking similar, maybe
59. 2:02twins, etc., but
60. 2:05everyone is different. Some he has made
61. 2:06ugly
62. 2:07Some he has made ugly, some he has made
63. 2:09average, some he has made beautiful. So,
64. 2:10isn't it a disadvantage for those who
65. 2:12are ugly
66. 2:13or whose skin color is dark?
67. 2:15And he gave the example of marriage.
68. 2:18You may be thinking that a person who's
69. 2:20not beautiful, it is a disadvantage for
70. 2:22marriage. What did our prophet say? Our
71. 2:24prophet said that whenever someone
72. 2:26marries, he looks for four things. He
73. 2:28looks for beauty,
74. 2:30wealth,
75. 2:31nobility, and virtue.
76. 2:33The best
77. 2:35is virtue. So, when you marry someone,
78. 2:37marry for virtue.
79. 2:38Now, I do agree looks is given by Allah,
80. 2:40it's not chosen by the human being.
81. 2:43Fine? So, you can marry for someone for
82. 2:45looks.
83. 2:46You can marry for wealth, a big bank
84. 2:48balance. You can marry for nobility, but
85. 2:50the best is virtue.
86. 2:53Now,
87. 2:54the looks are given by Allah, there is
88. 2:56no choice. The nobility,
89. 2:58your lineage is by Allah, you cannot
90. 2:59change it.
91. 3:01What two things that can change is one
92. 3:03is
93. 3:05wealth. You can earn more, you can earn
94. 3:06less.
95. 3:08But the most important is virtue, which
96. 3:10depends on you.
97. 3:12So, what you have to look for is a
98. 3:13virtuous wife.
99. 3:15You think that a beautiful wife is the
100. 3:17best. The prophet didn't say that.
101. 3:20And
102. 3:21we think that a beautiful wife is the
103. 3:24best. Oh, if she normally the beauty
104. 3:27lasts only for a short period of time.
105. 3:30Maybe for a few days, maybe for a few
106. 3:32months, maybe for a few weeks, but not
107. 3:33forever.
108. 3:36And beauty is subjective.

112. 3:44Shirin Farhad, and you know
113. 3:47there is a very good saying that good
114. 3:50that Romeo Juliet they died. If they

130. 4:21You'll never find a ugly woman

132. 4:24because this is movie. The movie is
133. 4:26artificial life. Otherwise, in reality
134. 4:28you find many a time in the couple
135. 4:31you see that the girl is beautiful,
136. 4:33but the boy is average.
137. 4:35Sometimes you find the boy is so
138. 4:37handsome, but the girl is ugly.
139. 4:39And they love marriage.
140. 4:42How? It doesn't happen in movie, but in
141. 4:45real life you don't find always husband
142. 4:48wife are both beautiful, no.
143. 4:50Sometimes one is beautiful, the other is
144. 4:51average. Sometimes one is ugly, the
145. 4:53other is average, the other is handsome.
146. 4:56There is a saying in Hindi, Dil lagaya
147. 5:00gadhi se to pari kya cheez hai?
148. 5:02When you have fallen in love with a
149. 5:05female donkey, a jenny. Jenny is a
150. 5:07female donkey.
151. 5:08When you have fallen in love
152. 5:11with a jenny, a female donkey, then you
153. 5:13will care a hang for a fairy.
154. 5:17That means if you have fallen in love
155. 5:18for a donkey, a female donkey, a jenny,

167. 5:44we think it is beauty. If that was the
168. 5:47case, you see many couples. Sometimes
169. 5:50both are beautiful, sometimes both are
170. 5:51ugly, sometimes one is ugly, one is
171. 5:54beautiful.
172. 5:55It is all variety.
173. 5:58So, love is abstract. You think
174. 6:01you may be in that category who feel
175. 6:03okay.
176. 6:05You want a beautiful wife. When I
177. 6:07searched before I was married, my
178. 6:09criteria was virtue.
179. 6:11Other things I didn't mind even if the
180. 6:15girl I married was the poorest woman, no
181. 6:16problem.
182. 6:19Family, I didn't care. Okay, I wanted
183. 6:21she should not be repulsive. But if
184. 6:23given the option, would I would I want
185. 6:25to marry a girl which is the most
186. 6:27beautiful
187. 6:29and the most un-virtuous or a most
188. 6:31virtuous woman and the ugliest woman? I

196. 6:50she would make your life happy. She
197. 6:52would be a mohsena, a fortress against
198. 6:54the devil. An un-virtuous woman, she
199. 6:56will make your life hell.
200. 6:58If you're a guy, your life will become
201. 7:00hell.
202. 7:01So, that is the reason the prophet said
203. 7:02look for a virtuous woman. So, your
204. 7:04analysis that a beautiful woman is
205. 7:07everything is totally wrong. You have
206. 7:09been impressed by the fake world of
207. 7:12Hollywood and Bollywood.
208. 7:14I disagree with you.
209. 7:15Yes.
210. 7:17You can you it's choice is yours.
211. 7:20I'm not telling everyone to marry ugly
212. 7:21woman, no, no.
213. 7:23Fine. You can marry an average woman,
214. 7:25you can marry a beautiful woman, but
215. 7:26that is not the main criteria. The main
216. 7:29criteria is virtue.
217. 7:33And one more thing I'd like to ask you.

219. 7:37most beautiful women in the world? No.
220. 7:39There are many beautiful women, they may
221. 7:40be in village, but they don't know how

231. 7:59Muslim,
232. 8:01if you are beautiful,
233. 8:03there are a lot of conditions more
234. 8:07difficult for you to go to Jannah
235. 8:09according to me.
236. 8:10The prophet said
237. 8:12that it is more difficult for a rich man
238. 8:13to go to Jannah as compared to the poor
239. 8:15man. The prophet said that the rich man
240. 8:17has disadvantages.
241. 8:20He can only go to Jannah if he does a
242. 8:22lot of charity.
243. 8:25That is what the prophet said. So, we
244. 8:27think oh rich man, Allah has blessed
245. 8:29him.
246. 8:30The poor man, it is more easy for a poor
247. 8:33man go to do go to it's a more easy for
248. 8:36a poor man to go to Jannah than a rich
249. 8:37man. And even there are Hadith that the
250. 8:40Sahabas who were rich, they would be
251. 8:41questioned on the gate. What did you do
252. 8:43with the wealth?
253. 8:45So, the bottom line is it is more easy
254. 8:48for a poor man to go to Jannah because
255. 8:50he doesn't have to give zakat. If he
256. 8:52doesn't have the nisab level, he doesn't
257. 8:53have to give charity. For the rich man,
258. 8:56he has to give zakat, he may not give
259. 8:58he may not give zakat at all, he may
260. 8:59give zakat, he may not give charity.
261. 9:01Allah says in the Quran in Surah Tawbah,
262. 9:04chapter number nine, verse number 34 and
263. 9:0535, that as to those who hoard their
264. 9:07wealth and spend it not in charity,
265. 9:10Allah
266. 9:12on in the next life will take this gold
267. 9:15and put in the hellfire and brand them
268. 9:17on the forehead, on the flanks, and on
269. 9:19the bank, on the back, and ask them,
270. 9:22"Have a taste of the wealth which you
271. 9:24hoarded."
272. 9:25Imagine, all this wealth will be a
273. 9:27liability. It is not a benefit, it is a
274. 9:30curse. Only if you do charity. And
275. 9:32imagine if you are rich, the richer you
276. 9:34are, it's more difficult to charity.
277. 9:36Similarly, according to me, if you are
278. 9:38beautiful, you'll be questioned.
279. 9:41Because if you're beautiful, you would
280. 9:42get into acting. And if a girl is
281. 9:44beautiful and she gets into acting, it
282. 9:46is haram.
283. 9:47She may get into modeling, it is haram.
284. 9:49She may go into the beauty contest,
285. 9:51which is haram.
286. 9:54So, it is not haram to be beautiful, but
287. 9:57you have to be more careful. but you
288. 10:00have to be more careful.
289. 10:02You may get alloyed
290. 10:04by the
291. 10:07by the glamorous world, by the
292. 10:08Hollywood,
293. 10:10by the media.
294. 10:12If you are average, the chances of you
295. 10:14being attracted is less. I'm not saying
296. 10:16it's haram to be beautiful, but you
297. 10:18should be more difficult.
298. 10:20You have to see to it that you don't
299. 10:22unnecessarily intermingle.
300. 10:24So, your question that the person who is
301. 10:28ugly is disadvantaged is totally wrong.
302. 10:31Allah says in the Quran
303. 10:34in Surah Mulk, chapter number 67, verse
304. 10:36number two. Allah who has created death
305. 10:37and life to test which of his good
306. 10:39indeed.
307. 10:40Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala
308. 10:43is testing each one
309. 10:46how good is he in
310. 10:48deeds.
311. 10:49And Allah puts different people in
312. 10:52different test.
313. 10:53Some people he gives wealth, some people
314. 10:55he makes poor. Some people he makes
315. 10:57beautiful, some people he makes ugly.
316. 10:59Some people he makes healthy, some
317. 11:01people he makes unhealthy with disease,
318. 11:04with congenital defects. Not depending
319. 11:06upon the facility Allah has given you,
320. 11:09he will test you.
321. 11:10If you are rich,
322. 11:12you have to give zakat. If you are poor,
323. 11:13no zakat. So, in zakat, the poor man
324. 11:16gets 100 out of 100. The rich man may
325. 11:18get zero, may get 10 marks, may get 50
326. 11:21marks, may get 100. So, we think, oh,
327. 11:23very bad me, a poor person, such a
328. 11:26disadvantage. I would say poor man
329. 11:28advantage.
330. 11:30I'm not saying being man is haram, but
331. 11:33being a rich man the trials and
332. 11:35tribulations are more.
333. 11:37You have the example of Sulaiman Alayhis
334. 11:38Salaam. He's a rich person, but you have
335. 11:41to give charity.
336. 11:42The
337. 11:43amount the among the rich people more
338. 11:46number will go to hell than heaven.
339. 11:48Among the poor people more number will
340. 11:50go to heaven than to hell.
341. 11:52So, depending upon facility Allah has
342. 11:54given you. Maybe Allah will make you
343. 11:56healthy, Allah may make you sick.
344. 11:58If you are sick, you may remember Allah
345. 11:59more, you are healthy you may not
346. 12:00remember Allah. Some he makes beautiful,
347. 12:03some he makes ugly. The people who are
348. 12:04beautiful may go on the wrong track,
349. 12:06they may go to acting, they may go to
350. 12:08dancing, they may go to beauty contest
351. 12:10which is haram. The poor which are the
352. 12:13women which are mediocre or maybe ugly
353. 12:15may not go that. So, everything is
354. 12:17subjective. Depending upon the facility
355. 12:19Allah has given you, he will judge you
356. 12:21accordingly.
357. 12:23And if he has given you some
358. 12:24disadvantage, he will give you handicap.
359. 12:27You know, when there is a race, the
360. 12:28people with handicap they get a little
361. 12:31bit extra lead.
362. 12:32So, depending upon the facility Allah
363. 12:34Subhana Wa Ta'ala is not unjust in the
364. 12:37least degree. Allah says that in Surah
365. 12:40Nisa, chapter four, verse number 40. So,
366. 12:42total analysis is wrong.
367. 12:46Yes, there is no harm in praying
368. 12:48that, okay, may I get wealth, but then
369. 12:50you should be able to give charity, you
370. 12:51should be able generous. If you are not,
371. 12:53it is dangerous.
372. 12:55So, according to me,
373. 12:57as far as marriage is concerned, surely
374. 13:01a virtuous woman is much better.
375. 13:04Much better
376. 13:05than a beautiful woman. IF YOU HAVE ALL,
377. 13:07ALHAMDULILLAH. If you have a virtuous
378. 13:08woman and beautiful, very good. To find
379. 13:11a virtuous woman is difficult. To find a
380. 13:12virtuous woman and be together is all
381. 13:14the more difficult.
382. 13:16For getting a job, you said for a job.
383. 13:18For a job,
384. 13:20I don't think so any only those posts
385. 13:23which are haram for the women, that post
386. 13:26people look for beauty. For example, you
387. 13:28want air hostess, you want a beautiful
388. 13:30air hostess to attract the customers.
389. 13:31Okay, then they want beauty.
390. 13:33Or you want a receptionist who speaks,
391. 13:36you know, with the client in a very soft
392. 13:38tone and beautiful tone doing makeup.
393. 13:40So, all these posts which look for
394. 13:42beauty for a job for the women, most of
395. 13:45them is haram.
396. 13:47Otherwise, people look for
397. 13:48qualification. How good are you? What
398. 13:50are your grades? How intelligent are
399. 13:51you? How well can you do other things?
400. 13:54So, your analysis of
401. 13:57marriage and job both are wrong.
402. 14:01Yes, for certain posts people look for
403. 14:03beauty, but most of them are haram.
404. 14:05Otherwise, people look for the ability,
405. 14:08not for the beauty, unless the job is
406. 14:10haram. Hope that answers the question
407. 14:11and hope you remove this wrong concept
408. 14:15from your mind. So, Allah Subhana Wa
409. 14:17Ta'ala is very just.
410. 14:19If he gives you beauty, he will check
411. 14:20you according to that. If he makes you
412. 14:22ugly, he will check you according to
413. 14:23that. And he will give you other
414. 14:25benefits.
415. 14:26It is much better to be a person who is
416. 14:28ugly and be a scientist.
417. 14:31You have the example
418. 14:33of top scientist.
419. 14:35They are well known. Every beautiful
420. 14:37woman is not well known.
421. 14:38You may be a top scientist, you may have
422. 14:40all the wealth, you may be rich, you may
423. 14:41be ugly, no problem. So, Allah Subhana
424. 14:43Wa Ta'ala is never unjust in the least
425. 14:46degree. Surah Nisa, chapter four, verse
426. 14:48number 40. And this is all the time we
427. 14:49had for today.
428. 14:51And till we meet
429. 14:54after two weeks.
