3. 0:04election is over and I'm finding out all
4. 0:05of these lies that you've told not just
5. 0:08one little lie or one little
6. 0:09embellishment these are blatant lies my
7. 0:13question is do you have no shame do you
8. 0:16have no shame in the people who are now
9. 0:18you're asking to trust you to go and be
10. 0:20their voice for them their families and
11. 0:22their kids in Washington
12. 0:25Tulsi I can say the same thing about the
13. 0:27Democrats and and the party look at Joe
14. 0:29Biden Joe Biden's been lying to the
15. 0:31American people for 40 years he's the
16. 0:32president of the United States Democrats
17. 0:35resoundly support him do they have no
18. 0:38shame this look this is made this very
19. 0:39this is not this is not about the
20. 0:41Democratic party though this is about
21. 0:43your relationship frankly with the
22. 0:46people who've entrusted you to go and
23. 0:48and fight for them and I think one of
24. 0:49the questions that that really probably
25. 0:51hits home to a lot of people is is are
26. 0:55you Jewish we've got a letter that your
27. 0:57campaign sent out earlier this year
28. 0:59which reads as follows as a proud
29. 1:02American Jew I've been to Israel
30. 1:04numerous times for educational business
31. 1:06and leisurely trips you said there in
32. 1:09that letter that you are quote a proud
33. 1:12American Jew how do you how do you
34. 1:14explain that
35. 1:16my Heritage is Jewish I've always
36. 1:18identified as Jewish I was raised a
37. 1:20practicing Catholic I think I've gone
38. 1:22through this even I've not not being
39. 1:25raised a practicing Jew I've always
40. 1:27joked with friends and circles even with
41. 1:30in the campaign I'd say guys I'm Jewish
42. 1:32remember I was raised Catholic so look I
43. 1:35understand everybody wants to nitpick at
44. 1:37me I I'm gonna reassure this once and
45. 1:40for all I'm not a facade I'm not a
46. 1:42persona I have an extensive career that
47. 1:45I worked really hard to achieve and I'm
48. 1:47going to deliver from my experience
49. 1:48because I remain committed in delivering
50. 1:50results for the American people I
51. 1:52campaigned on inflation I campaigned on
52. 1:53crime I campaigned on education I
53. 1:56campaigned on delivering resolve for the
54. 1:57American people that's what the people
55. 1:59of the third congressional district
56. 2:00heard me on and on as I campaigned now
57. 2:03it's going to be up on incumbent upon me
58. 2:05to deliver on those results and I look
59. 2:07forward to services and serving my my
60. 2:10district I look forward to serving my
61. 2:12people there is no District to make sure
62. 2:14that they see that this is looking for
63. 2:17the results that people are looking for
64. 2:19are called into question when you tell
65. 2:22blatant lies not embellishments and this
66. 2:24is this is I think one of the biggest
67. 2:25concerns Congressman elect is that you
68. 2:28don't really seem to be taking this
69. 2:29seriously you've apologized you said
70. 2:31you've made mistakes but you've outright
71. 2:33lie a lie is not an embellishment on a
72. 2:36resume you said you worked at Goldman
73. 2:37Sachs and Citigroup but they've said
74. 2:39we've got no record of this guy working
75. 2:41for us you've said you've gone to and
76. 2:43graduated from these universities but
77. 2:45they've said well we've got no record of
78. 2:47that these are blatant lies and it calls
79. 2:49into question how your constituents and
80. 2:51the American people can believe anything
81. 2:53that you may say when you are standing
82. 2:55on the floor of the House of
83. 2:56Representatives supposedly fighting for
84. 2:59them that's the real issue here
85. 3:02well look I and I I agree with what
86. 3:05you're saying and as I stated and I
87. 3:07continue
88. 3:08we can debate my my resume and how I
89. 3:11worked with firms such as is it
90. 3:13debatable or is it just false
91. 3:16debatable I no no it's not false at all
92. 3:20it's it's debatable I can I can sit down
93. 3:21and explain to you what you can do in
94. 3:24private equity in in capital intro via
95. 3:26servicing limited partners and general
96. 3:28partners and we can have this discussion
97. 3:30that's going to go way above the
98. 3:31American people's head but that's not
99. 3:33what I campaigned on I campaigned on
100. 3:34delivering results for the American
101. 3:36people by lowering inflation I can sit
102. 3:39down and if you want to have that
103. 3:40discussion I'd be glad to Tulsi to
104. 3:42explain that to you and make sure that
105. 3:44we we settled the score
106. 3:46that this is not about settling scores
107. 3:49and I think you just you just kind of
108. 3:50highlighted I think my concern the
109. 3:52concern that people at home have you're
110. 3:54saying that this discussion will go way
111. 3:56above the heads of the American people
112. 3:57basically insulting their intelligence
113. 4:00so not only are you now that's not what
114. 4:03I'm saying that you've told but you're
115. 4:05saying that you can't wait in a way that
116. 4:08your constituents would actually be able
117. 4:09to I can explain it in a way if you give
118. 4:13me the time I can easily give the if you
119. 4:15give me the time I can easily explain it
120. 4:17for you as as in when investors are
121. 4:20looking for Capital and I'm sitting
122. 4:22there doing due diligence on the
123. 4:24decision on the appetite and what
124. 4:26they're looking for right and we work
125. 4:28alongside GPS and LPS to help them place
126. 4:31this Capital this is what I was doing
127. 4:33and that's when I worked extensively
128. 4:35with these firms and many other firms at
129. 4:37my time as I was vice president of
130. 4:39linkbridge investors so this isn't uh
131. 4:41this isn't the made-up narrative but I
132. 4:43feel like nobody really wants to sit
133. 4:45down and talk about it everybody just
134. 4:46want wants to push me and call me a liar
135. 4:48look congression I did
136. 4:52Congressman Alex Santos we've given you
137. 4:54a lot of time I think the time that is
138. 4:57owed is to the people of New York's
139. 4:59third uh it's hard to imagine how they
140. 5:02could possibly trust your explanations
141. 5:03when you're not really even willing to
142. 5:06admit the depth of your deception to
143. 5:09them thank you so much for being here

146. 5:14Congressman elect George Santos who
147. 5:15you've probably heard about because this
148. 5:17is the guy who's lied about
149. 5:19um everything and look if you can manage
150. 5:21to stand out as a liar in an era where
151. 5:24Donald Trump is still a major political
152. 5:26figure congratulations you are a special
153. 5:29level of sociopath unto yourself and
154. 5:31just to give a quick rundown just in
155. 5:33case by some miracle you haven't had the
156. 5:35opportunity to hear about the laundry
157. 5:37list of lies that Santos was caught
158. 5:38telling he said he earned a degree from
159. 5:40Baruch College in New York he didn't
160. 5:42graduate from any college he said he
161. 5:44works for Citigroup and Goldman Sachs
162. 5:46didn't work for either he said he was
163. 5:48Jewish which he later clarified to me
164. 5:50that he was Jewish this is like the
165. 5:52worst episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm
166. 5:54ever he said that his grandparents fled
167. 5:57Jewish persecution in Europe during
168. 5:58World War II his grandparents were from
169. 6:00Brazil he claimed to have lost four
170. 6:03employees in the 2016 post nightclub
171. 6:05shooting none of the victims were
172. 6:06associated with any of his firms he
173. 6:08claimed to be a landlord he's not and
174. 6:10has been evicted from his own rent in
175. 6:12properties he claimed to be openly gay
176. 6:14and he was married to a woman until a
177. 6:16few years ago I mean my God if George
178. 6:18Santos said good morning I would just
179. 6:20assume that it must be night time but as
180. 6:23far as this interview is concerned it
181. 6:25really does say it all that when pressed
182. 6:26about lying the very first thing he does
183. 6:28is try to offer up some what about his
184. 6:30and by pointing fingers at Joe Biden
185. 6:32which is telling for two reasons one
186. 6:34George Santos is a low rent hack that
187. 6:36much is clear right off the bat dude had
188. 6:38a week to figure out an answer for his
189. 6:40outright lies and the best he landed on
190. 6:42was to whine about Biden the epitome of
191. 6:45Amateur hour but second it really puts
192. 6:48on full display what the GOP has become
193. 6:49that this guy can lie his face
194. 6:52off about literally everything and know
195. 6:55that there is so little accountability
196. 6:56within the Republican party that he
197. 6:58actually expected some tepid what
198. 7:00aboutism to do the trick imagine that
199. 7:02being the party you've created a party
200. 7:04where the standards are so
201. 7:05embarrassingly low that George Santos
202. 7:07actually thought that excuse could work
203. 7:09that's not just embarrassing for him
204. 7:11it's embarrassing for the entire GOP
205. 7:14another point that Tulsi made well and
206. 7:16that's coming from someone who is
207. 7:17decidedly not a fan of toasty gabbard in
208. 7:19the slightest is this excuse from Santos
209. 7:21that he simply embellished his resume
210. 7:23only what he claims weren't
211. 7:26embellishments they were lies saying
212. 7:28you're Jewish when you are Catholic
213. 7:29isn't an embellishment it's a lie saying
214. 7:32you graduated from a certain College
215. 7:33when you didn't graduate at all isn't an
216. 7:36embellishment it's a lie saying you lost
217. 7:38employees in a mass shooting when you
218. 7:40didn't isn't an embellishment it's a lie
219. 7:42and I don't know whether Santos doesn't
220. 7:44know the difference or if he knows it
221. 7:46full well but just has decided that the
222. 7:48voters are too worthless to bother
223. 7:49telling the truth to either way what's
224. 7:52clear is that it's wholly disqualifying
225. 7:54consider too for those few Republicans
226. 7:56who have come out against George Santos
227. 7:58they're not angry that he's a liar
228. 8:00they're angry that he got caught because
229. 8:02it just reaffirms the fact that so many
230. 8:04people within the GOP are incapable of
231. 8:06telling the truth the problem with
232. 8:08Santos isn't that he's some aberration
233. 8:09in the party the actual problem is that
234. 8:11he's 2 obvious of a reflection of
235. 8:14exactly what that party represents and
236. 8:16at the end of the day let's just be
237. 8:17honest nothing's really going to happen
238. 8:19to the guy I mean hell the leader of the
239. 8:21House Republicans and likely next
240. 8:23speaker Kevin McCarthy is so weak and
241. 8:25desperate for votes that he would defend
242. 8:27cancer if it meant he'd get another vote
243. 8:29for speaker McCarthy stands for nothing
244. 8:31so let's not expect that guy to stand up
245. 8:34to another person who also stands for
246. 8:36nothing it's like asking Roy Moore to
247. 8:38lead an effort against pedophiles not
248. 8:40exactly sure we're going to get too far
249. 8:42with that but while we're sure not to
250. 8:44get any accountability from the
251. 8:45spineless Jello mode that is Kevin
252. 8:47McCarthy there is one place that might
253. 8:49bear fruit here's Democratic Congressman
254. 8:51elect Daniel Goldman who is also the
255. 8:52lead impeachment counsel during Trump's
256. 8:54first impeachment trial calling for
257. 8:56Santos to be investigated for campaign
258. 8:57Finance fraud filings from the Florida
259. 8:59Department of State showed a vulner
260. 9:01organization was registered as an LLC in
261. 9:032019 a couple months before Santos
262. 9:06launched a bid for congress a second
263. 9:07time they also show Santos filed for a
264. 9:10reinstatement earlier this month a day
265. 9:12after the times investigation broke
266. 9:14given all of his lying was he also using
267. 9:18this very new entity that all of a
268. 9:22sudden increased his net wealth
269. 9:25um into the millions from having no net
270. 9:28wealth in 2020 uh did is was this
271. 9:32created in order to avoid the campaign
272. 9:35Finance laws apparently proving yourself
273. 9:37a liar with zero capacity for honesty or
274. 9:40Integrity tends to raise some other red
275. 9:42flags who could have possibly guessed so
276. 9:44while I have little faith that George
277. 9:45Santos will be prevented from getting
278. 9:47seated in this upcoming Congress in a
279. 9:49way having him there serves a useful
280. 9:51purpose he is a walking talking
281. 9:53embodiment of the Shameless duplicity of
282. 9:55today's Republican party a testament to
283. 9:57the fact that the only way to win on the
284. 9:59right is to lie cheat and steal all in
285. 10:01service of the gop's sole goal the
286. 10:03consolidation of Power by any means
287. 10:05necessary
