- 0:00In this video we're going to compare the
- 0:01Logitech Pebble Keys 2 to the Pop Icon
- 0:03Keys. And we've also got the Pebble
- 0:05Mouse and the Pop Mouse as well, so we
- 0:06can go over all the differences whether
- 0:08you buy just the keyboard or if you get
- 0:10the combo version of either of these. So
- 0:11if you look at them side by side, the
- 0:12first thing you'll notice is the Pebble
- 0:14Keys is significantly smaller than the
- 0:16Pop Icon and it also has circular
- 0:18buttons instead of the a little bit more
- 0:20square buttons of the Pop Icon. Another
- 0:23thing that's very different about these
- 0:24is you have a couple extra buttons on
- 0:26the side of the Pop Icon and you can
- 0:28reprogram those buttons as well with all
- 0:29the other function buttons using the
- 0:31Logi Options Plus app. On the Pebble
- 0:33Keys 2, you can reprogram F4 all the way
- 0:36over to F12 buttons on it, so that's
- 0:37really nice that they give you the
- 0:38ability to reprogram it. You just don't
- 0:40have those on the side. Also, you will
- 0:42notice that you get full-size arrow keys
- 0:44on the Icon and you get half-size arrow
- 0:46keys and your function keys are smaller
- 0:48on the Pebble Keys 2 than they are on
- 0:50the Pop Icon. Also, on the Pop Icon the
- 0:52angle is a little bit higher on it. I
- 0:54find this one is a little bit more
- 0:55comfortable to type on. Also, just
- 0:57having the bigger keys gives you a
- 0:58little bit better concept of where your
- 1:00fingers are at on the keyboard. So let's
- 1:02do a quick typing test of both of these.
- 1:21So I definitely notice the Pebble Keys
- 1:23is a little bit louder, but it's also
- 1:24significantly smaller. So the first main
- 1:27advantage to buying the Pebble Keys 2 is
- 1:29if you travel a lot and you want to
- 1:30stuff this in a backpack or a suitcase,
- 1:32this one is going to be easier to travel
- 1:34with, but honestly the Pop Icon Keys is
- 1:36so much more comfortable to type on. I
- 1:38really appreciate the extra buttons on
- 1:39the side as well. I've just found that
- 1:41the size of these keys really makes a
- 1:42difference for me in terms of being able
- 1:44to know where I'm at and to confidently
- 1:46type. It's just a lot easier on the Pop
- 1:48Icon Keys. If we compare the mouses that
- 1:50both of these come with, they look very
- 1:52similar, but the Pop Mouse is taller
- 1:54than the Pebble Mouse. On the Pebble
- 1:55Mouse, you can also reprogram what the
- 1:57scroll click does, but on the Pop mouse,
- 1:59you can reprogram what clicking the
- 2:00scroll wheel does. And there's also a
- 2:01second customizable button below it as
- 2:03well. So, this one's a little bit more
- 2:05customizable, but I definitely don't
- 2:06recommend the mouses on these as much as
- 2:09I recommend the keyboards themselves,
- 2:10especially if you're going for the Pop
- 2:11icon keys. You can pair this with some
- 2:13nicer mouses like the MX Master 3S, MX
- 2:16Anywhere 3S, or the Apple Magic Trackpad
- 2:18also pairs really well with this. So,
- 2:20there's a couple different choices with
- 2:22the Pop icon, but if you just want to
- 2:23get the combo, both of these are okay,
- 2:25but I do notice that they're both a
- 2:27little bit shallower and they're not
- 2:28super big. So, these are going to be
- 2:30better for users who aren't using the
- 2:31mouse for a long time. But, the Pop icon
- 2:34keys definitely stands out to me over
- 2:35the Pebble Keys 2 just because it's more
- 2:37comfortable to type on. You also get
- 2:39more customizable buttons, and probably
- 2:41my favorite feature is it has dedicated
- 2:43brightness buttons for your screen on
- 2:44it, which you do not have on the Pebble
- 2:46Keys 2. So, that's definitely missing
- 2:48there. I also like the size of the all
- 2:50commands, control buttons on the bottom
- 2:52of the Pop icon as well. They're just a
- 2:54little bit bigger. Couple other things
- 2:56about these, they each use AAA
- 2:57batteries, and you get about 36 months
- 2:59of battery life out of them. Also, if
- 3:01you compare the colors, there's a couple
- 3:02different options with each of them
- 3:03depending on when and where you're
- 3:05getting them from, but the Pop Keys does
- 3:07have more contrasty color options. So,
- 3:09they're a little bit brighter, a little
- 3:10bit more bold. Like this gray one has
- 3:12the white keys on the side and has black
- 3:14and gray keys. On the Pebble Keys, there
- 3:16I believe is black, gray, rose. There
- 3:19might be a blue version of this, a white
- 3:20version of this as well. Accent keys
- 3:22that go with them as well. So, a little
- 3:23bit brighter, a little bit bolder. The
- 3:25Pop icon goes for $50, and the Pebble
- 3:27Keys 2 goes for $40. But, if you get the
- 3:30combo version of the Pebble, it's just
- 3:31$50. The combo version of the icon is
- 3:34$70. So, both of these are very similar
- 3:36in price, very close in price. But, if
- 3:38you're just going for the keyboard, I
- 3:40would definitely recommend spending a
- 3:41little bit more to get the Pop icon. Get
- 3:44the Pebble Keys if you need to stuff it
- 3:45in a backpack and travel more. But, if
- 3:47you want to have a keyboard that's
- 3:48better suited to use for all day typing,
- 3:50And recommend the Pop icon. This one's
- 3:52just more comfortable and a little bit
- 3:54more usable in my opinion. If you have
- 3:56any other questions about either of
- 3:57these, leave a comment down below. I'll
- 3:58do my best to answer them. Like this
