- 0:00What's up my people? It's a hot summer's
- 0:02day. So, let's get into the hot topic of
- 0:05the day, which is yo, when do I delete
- 0:07my zones? When do I keep my zones? Feel
- 0:09like I done a video on this already, but
- 0:12you know how it is. Everyone's lazy.
- 0:13They don't want to scroll back. They
- 0:15want it right at the top. So, guess
- 0:16what? Let's make a video and put it
- 0:18right at the top of the feed. So, you
- 0:21have this, you have this, you have this,
- 0:23you have this, you have this, you have
- 0:24this. Now, people are going, "Yo, am I
- 0:27looking for a long in here? Am I looking
- 0:29for a long in here? You'll get some
- 0:32people, they'll do this,
- 0:36right? They are then now looking for a
- 0:38long in here, this unmitigated zone, and
- 0:42they're wondering why they're getting
- 0:43absolutely smoked. This is so completely
- 0:47wrong. And I'll show you how to avoid
- 0:49it. The simplest way I'm going to pull
- 0:51it, only look at the last two breaks of
- 0:55structure. Everything else is
- 0:56irrelevant. So we have a break structure
- 0:58here, breaker structure here. So
- 1:01anything that happened before this
- 1:03breaker structure completely irrelevant.
- 1:05Focus on the most recent break structure
- 1:08which was here.
- 1:10Okay? And then simply focus on the zone
- 1:13before it which was this breaker
- 1:15structure here.
- 1:17First thing you're going to do is find
- 1:19your structural protected low which is
- 1:21here. This is the lowest point between
- 1:23our high and where we broke it. Now we
- 1:25look at the zone previously which is
- 1:28this zone here. Ask yourself is this
- 1:31unmititigated or is this mitigated? If
- 1:34it is still unmititigated right if a lot
- 1:36of it is still untouched then guess what
- 1:38this zone is still valid. If this is now
- 1:44more mitigated right all the way here
- 1:48then this zone is now irrelevant. If we
- 1:50break this this is not a liquidity
- 1:52sweep. This is a change of character.
- 1:54and we're actually expecting
- 1:56lower prices. But if we have this,
- 2:01then this is a liquidity sweep and we're
- 2:04expecting higher prices. If you don't
- 2:07understand, just replay that last minute
- 2:08and I promise you it will click. And now
- 2:12I'll just go straight over to the charts
- 2:15and I'll show you. Let's see. Okay, we
- 2:17have some zones cooking here. Let's see
- 2:20what we have. So you can see we have a
- 2:23break of structure to the upside here.
- 2:25So let's just go from left to right.
- 2:28Where is our latest breaker structure?
- 2:30That's always the first thing you want
- 2:31to ask yourself. The latest breaker
- 2:33structure is here. So where is your
- 2:35structurally protected low? It is here.
- 2:38Where is the zone before that? This was
- 2:41our previous break structure. So we have
- 2:44a low here. If there was any break
- 2:47structure prior to this, it's
- 2:48irrelevant. I have my last two breaks of
- 2:50structure.
- 2:52My first break of structure, right? The
- 2:54lowest one in the uptrend. I draw a
- 2:56zone.
- 2:57Now, is this zone still mitigated or is
- 3:00this unmititigated? This is still unmit.
- 3:02So, is it still unmititigated or is it
- 3:04mitigated? This is still unmititigated.
- 3:06So, I can keep this zone. If this zone
- 3:09was mitigated like this, I should not be
- 3:13looking for a long here because that is
- 3:14a change of character. Now I'm looking
- 3:16for buys in a valid zone, but we're in a
- 3:19downtrend. You're going to have so many
- 3:21zones that don't get touched. And if
- 3:23you're still looking to short along
- 3:24them, you're way against the trend by
- 3:25the time we tap into them. So this is
- 3:28still on mitigate. I can use this zone.
- 3:30Now let's see what happens.
- 3:34We come. Let's see if we get a new
- 3:36breaker structure or not.
- 3:39Look at that. We sweep this. So this
- 3:42zone was still valid and we get a
- 3:44beautiful move up. So, we'll start
- 3:46again. Now, where was the last breaker
- 3:47structure? Boom.
- 3:50Where's our protected low? Boom.
- 3:54Where did this come from? We already
- 3:55established it came from this breaker
- 3:57structure here. This zone.
- 4:01Now, if I draw that same zone we came
- 4:04into, this is very mitigated. If price
- 4:07comes and takes this, this is now not a
- 4:09sweep and rip. This is a change of
- 4:11character. Now, if I'm looking for longs
- 4:13in this zone below here, guess what? I'm
- 4:16going to get gassed and then I'm going
- 4:18to get smoked. Okay, I have to
- 4:20understand now, this is my only zone.
- 4:22Anything below here is short, which
- 4:24means this is the only zone I'm looking
- 4:27for. There's no zone. It doesn't matter
- 4:28to the left that is relevant because
- 4:30anything below here, like we said, is a
- 4:32change of character. So, now let's play
- 4:35price out.
- 4:37This will be our next breaker structure.
- 4:42So technically, we're still looking for
- 4:44a long in this zone because we're
- 4:45expecting price to come into the
- 4:47previous zone. This is where we look to
- 4:49take our long and this is where we look
- 4:51to target.
- 4:53So let's see if price does take out that
- 4:55high. Okay, we have a new break of
- 4:58structure. So the same thing, let's
- 4:59delete everything previously. This
- 5:04is a breaker structure. This is our
- 5:08protected loan. Where was the previous
- 5:10breaker structure? Where was the
- 5:11previous zone we had marked? Was this
- 5:13breaker structure
- 5:15to this? If we draw a zone,
- 5:20this zone is mitigated. Price broke it,
- 5:23mitigated it, continued higher. You
- 5:25should not be looking at this as a sweep
- 5:28and rip. This zone is now irrelevant.
- 5:30You should only be focusing on this zone
- 5:33here. Anything below here is a shift in
- 5:37structure. you are trading against the
- 5:39trend by time we tap into this zone here
- 5:42and sweep this. Okay. So now this is my
- 5:44only bullish zone. This is what I work
- 5:46with. I don't look at this zone. I don't
- 5:48look at this zone. I'm not looking at
- 5:49bearish zones up here. Going with the
- 5:52flow and I established this because I
- 5:54found my last two breaks of structure.
- 5:55Now let's see what happens. We break
- 5:57this. So guess what? Now I am bearish.
- 6:00Okay. This was our shift in structure.
- 6:05This is my protected high. Now I simply
- 6:08focus on shorts from here to here. And
- 6:13now we'll go to a downtrend example. So
- 6:14this is a good example because we have
- 6:17lows of breaker structure to the upside.
- 6:19But half of these aren't relevant. Let's
- 6:22see what happened. Price was trending
- 6:24higher and then we shifted structure at
- 6:26this low here creating this bearish
- 6:29zone. Okay. Price came barely mitigated
- 6:32the zone and then shifted lower again.
- 6:36Okay. So we have a new breaker structure
- 6:38from here to here. Now can I still use
- 6:41this zone above? Yes, because it is
- 6:43unmititigated. So I can look for a sell
- 6:46in either of these two zones. That is
- 6:49okay. But we have to adjust as price
- 6:52adjusts. So now we have a new breaker
- 6:55structure here. So structurally this
- 6:57here is my this here is my protected
- 7:03high.
- 7:04What is above my protected high? We have
- 7:07this tiny area of supply here. Okay. So
- 7:11now anything above here is now bullish.
- 7:14So even though this zone is completely
- 7:15unmititigated, this zone is completely
- 7:17unmititigated. You cannot be looking for
- 7:19a long a short in this zone because if
- 7:21we come and we take this and we tap into
- 7:23here and you're looking for a short,
- 7:24you're looking for a short against the
- 7:26trend. Price is bullish. Only focus on
- 7:30sells as long as this holds. These zones
- 7:32now become irrelevant. So guess what?
- 7:34Deleted. Guess what? Deleted. And then
- 7:37we do the same thing. Okay, we have a
- 7:42new breaker structure here.
- 7:45And where was the breaker structure just
- 7:46before that? It was this breakoff
- 7:48structure here. Now I can still keep
- 7:51this zone. I just found the last two. I
- 7:55looked at the highest one. This is still
- 7:56unmititigated. I can still keep this
- 7:59once we break this structure here.
- 8:01Right. I'm going to draw a new zone from
- 8:04this breaker structure.
- 8:08And this was my breaker structure before
- 8:09that. Well, not really. It doesn't
- 8:11count, but let's just say it counted.
- 8:14This is going to be my zone. And we have
- 8:17this zone above it. Just the last two.
- 8:19Anything above here is bullish. So, I
- 8:20don't care about this zone anymore.
- 8:22Don't care about this zone anymore.
- 8:23Don't care about this zone anymore. I
- 8:25hope that helped the famous question.
