17. 0:30Legionnaires and in that testimony again
18. 0:33that raises the question did Governor
19. 0:35Rick Snyder lie to the public and to

21. 0:39happened in 2014 and 2015 there was an
22. 0:42outbreak of Legionnaires disease at
23. 0:44least 12 people died and many more
24. 0:47became sick with the disease sometimes
25. 0:48caught when you inhale contaminated
26. 0:50water vapour while taking a shower on
27. 0:52January 13 2016 Governor Rick Snyder
28. 0:55held a press conference and his warning
29. 0:57saying he had just learned about the
30. 1:00problems he told the same story before
31. 1:02Congress instances of Legionnaires
32. 1:12disease and fish yeah in terms of
33. 1:15Legionnaires I didn't learn until today
34. 1:23has Urban Affairs eight Harvey Hollins
35. 1:24testified during the trial of Health and
36. 1:26Human Services director Nick Lyons that
37. 1:28he warned the governor about the
38. 1:30outbreak weeks earlier before Christmas
39. 1:32in 2015 after meeting with the Flint
40. 1:35water task force after that meeting and
41. 1:46you're telling the truth today I took an
42. 1:49oath so now the question is will the
43. 1:52congressional committee that heard
44. 1:53Snyder's testimony about when he learned
45. 1:55of Legionnaires in the water take action
46. 1:57in theory they could investigate whether
47. 1:59the governor committed perjury before
48. 2:00Congress at today's hearing the judge
49. 2:02was looking at evidence against the
50. 2:03State Health and Human Services Director
51. 2:05Nick Lyons he's been charged with
52. 2:07manslaughter and misconduct in office
53. 2:09for allegedly knowing about Legionnaires
54. 2:11and not doing enough to warn the public
