- 0:00Hi guys, welcome back to my channel and
- 0:02to a meal inspiration video. Today, I'm
- 0:05going to show you what we eat as a
- 0:07family of five from Sunday to Friday.
- 0:11We're basically going out on Saturday.
- 0:12I'm going to show you all of our other
- 0:14meals this week. I love watching videos
- 0:16like this, so hopefully you might like
- 0:19take an idea from what we this week. And
- 0:22today it's actually Sunday and we are
- 0:24having the same thing we have every
- 0:26Sunday, which is a Sunday roast. Matt
- 0:29normally makes it. He makes the best
- 0:32roast potatoes and we air fry our
- 0:35chicken. It actually takes like an hour,
- 0:38so it's really really easy. We've got
- 0:39one of those double I'll just show you.
- 0:41We've got one of those double air
- 0:42fryers, which is just in here. It's like
- 0:44a ninja one.
- 0:46See these? The big ones. So, we normally
- 0:49put the chicken
- 0:50um
- 0:51almost like top down. You know, like
- 0:54breast side down for 15 minutes and then
- 0:56we flip it back over and we do it for
- 0:58about an hour. So, the air fryer makes
- 1:01it come out really What would you say?
- 1:03Juicy? [music]
- 1:05Nice.
- 1:05>> Have a juicy bird.
- 1:06>> The perfect amount, basically. And then
- 1:09he does all the roast potatoes and veg
- 1:11and everything. We put the carrots. We
- 1:13put
- 1:14>> honey on the carrots.
- 1:16>> It's coming.
- 1:17>> Just there. [snorts]
- 1:18Got frozen Yorkshire puddings, green
- 1:21beans, and then gravy. And every Sunday
- 1:24we look forward to it so much, but we
- 1:27add to our food shop a cherry pie. And
- 1:30then when we're eating, we put it in the
- 1:32oven and then we have cherry pie and ice
- 1:35cream. And it's really delicious. We
- 1:37have a really big dinner on a Sunday.
- 1:39It's about 5:00.
- 1:41Oh, it's 6:00. 6:00.
- 1:43>> A bit late for us.
- 1:43>> a bit late for us. We normally eat quite
- 1:45early. Um but yeah, I hope you enjoy
- 1:48this video. That's basically Sunday.
- 1:50I'll show you what uh my plate looks
- 1:52like. And then, yeah, I'll just show you
- 1:54every night this week. And yeah, I hope
- 1:56you like it.
- 1:58>> [music]
- 2:03[music]
- 2:09[singing]
- 2:10>> So, tonight for dinner we are having a
- 2:13favorite in this house. We're having
- 2:14pork quesadillas. This was actually a
- 2:17HelloFresh dinner at one point, but we
- 2:20loved it so much we just keep remaking
- 2:21it. It's basically pork mince, red
- 2:24pepper like chopped up, uh loads of
- 2:27spices, and then in a wrap with cheese
- 2:30and then you put it in the oven. So,
- 2:31we've got that as like the main and then
- 2:34Matt has made it with some egg fried
- 2:36rice, some broccoli, and corn on the cob
- 2:39as well. I normally have this with like
- 2:41a little bit of Greek yogurt and the
- 2:43kids love it. Like we actually do the
- 2:45pork quesadillas sometimes when we're
- 2:47entertaining because it's like a really
- 2:49delicious one and kids like it as well.
- 2:52Um so, yeah, that is dinner tonight.
- 2:55This video has made me realize how gross
- 2:58I look by the end of the day. But for
- 3:00dinner tonight, we are having a corn
- 3:04shepherd's pie or cottage pie. It's not
- 3:06meat, so it could be either, but it's a
- 3:09recipe Is it off the actual corn website
- 3:12or not? No. Okay, forget that.
- 3:15>> It might be. It might be.
- 3:16>> It might be. Um
- 3:18but this is it here. It looks so lovely.
- 3:21This kind of meal is so nice at this
- 3:22time of year. So, it's basically corn
- 3:24mince, there's onion, carrots, stock, uh
- 3:29Worcestershire Worcestershire sauce, and
- 3:32then obviously there's mashed potato on
- 3:33top, cheese, and then we put it in the
- 3:36oven for 20 minutes. We thought we had
- 3:39peas in the freezer, but we actually ran
- 3:41out, so we are having this with green
- 3:42beans and with gravy as well. And this
- 3:45is a really yummy and warming dinner,
- 3:48but also it's sometimes nice to have
- 3:50like a meat-free dinner. So, that is
- 3:52what we're having tonight. So, I'm going
- 3:54to plate it up and I will show you what
- 3:56it looks like.
- 3:57>> [music]
- 4:09>> Hi guys. So, tonight for dinner we are
- 4:11having crispy buffalo tacos and cheesy
- 4:14chips. This is again an old HelloFresh
- 4:18dinner that we once made and kept the
- 4:19recipe card for. So delicious. Matt has
- 4:22made all of this and the reason I'm
- 4:25wearing a What is this called? Dressing
- 4:28gown? Is because I have been packing for
- 4:31our holiday and when I pack I need to
- 4:32try everything on. So, when you're
- 4:34watching this video we are currently
- 4:36away for half term. We're in the
- 4:37Maldives. That vlog will be coming very
- 4:39soon. But anyway, let me show you. It's
- 4:41basically like crispy chicken, which you
- 4:44can see here, and then we put it into
- 4:47wraps. So, then we also add some cheese,
- 4:50some lettuce with Caesar dressing on it,
- 4:53some tomato, and buffalo sauce as well.
- 4:56And it is so delicious. And the cheesy
- 4:59chips that Matt makes with this is
- 5:03incredible. So, I'm just going to have
- 5:04like a lot of those, which is probably
- 5:06not going to help the holiday diet. But
- 5:08the boys love this one as well. Um so,
- 5:11yeah. I'll just put it together. I'll
- 5:12show you how I make it and that is
- 5:14dinner tonight.
- 5:16>> [music]
- 5:17[singing]
- 5:20[music]
- 5:25[music and singing]
- 5:31[singing]
- 5:36[music]
- 5:39>> Yes, so this is my dinner and with the
- 5:40cheesy chips I love sweet chili sauce.
- 5:44It's really really delicious.
- 5:46Good evening. Tonight for dinner, we are
- 5:49having a super easy [music] dinner that
- 5:52is also really really quick. And it's
- 5:53one that I just love when we have an
- 5:56evening like this, like lots of people
- 5:57have different clubs, everyone's sort of
- 5:59all over the place, and we just need
- 6:00something quick that everyone's going to
- 6:02love. So tonight for dinner, we are
- 6:04[music] having fish finger sandwiches
- 6:07and chips and some mixed veg. So what I
- 6:10do is chuck some oven chips into the air
- 6:14fryer. Got these ones here. And my
- 6:17little trick for oven chips is to put
- 6:19chip seasoning on them. I bought this
- 6:22from Sainsbury's. It's great for potato
- 6:25wedges, but also if you just put this
- 6:27seasoning onto oven chips. Sorry, I'm
- 6:29laughing because look at this. He is
- 6:32imitating me the whole time that I'm
- 6:34talking. Um but anyway,
- 6:36>> [laughter]
- 6:36>> if you put chip seasoning onto, sorry,
- 6:40the oven chips, it just tastes really
- 6:42really nice. So that's a little hack. So
- 6:45I'm going to stick those in. I think
- 6:46they're like minutes, and then I'm also
- 6:48going to put in our fish fingers. For
- 6:50our family of five, I have to do 21 fish
- 6:54fingers because Matt and Fraser will
- 6:56have two brioche buns with three in
- 6:59each. So we like the brioche buns like
- 7:02these. So I'm just going to stick all of
- 7:05that in, and it's basically going to be
- 7:06ready in 15 minutes. Then I'm doing
- 7:08mixed veg just on the hob in the
- 7:11kitchen. So I'm just going to throw that
- 7:13on, and then I'll show you what the
- 7:14plate looks like. Um yeah, and that's
- 7:17pretty much our dinner tonight.
- 7:30>> It's like what what is going on
- 7:32especially when you're just going to the
- 7:33[music] store. I think I'd have it all.
- 7:35Tell you why I'd be in more. Making a
- 7:37play, being a blade, she is on a
- 7:42roll. her like this. Didn't think it
- 7:44would happen.
- 7:48>> [music]
- 8:00[music]
- 8:11[music]
- 8:11>> Hi guys, it's now Friday. Excuse I've
- 8:14been makeup free today, but tonight
- 8:16we're having like we do this fake away.
- 8:19We've got a bit of a hack when it comes
- 8:21to a curry. So we actually make the
- 8:24curry at home. We love you know the
- 8:26little Patak ones. The Matt makes
- 8:29chicken curry. We also make the rice.
- 8:32Hold on, let me show you.
- 8:34Over here, we'll make the rice. So we
- 8:36make that part, but then we buy all the
- 8:39extra bits um from our local Indian and
- 8:43it makes it so much cheaper. You know
- 8:44that cost of living is just crazy at the
- 8:46moment. We were spending like if we want
- 8:48to take away for five of us, especially
- 8:49the boys that eat that the same portion
- 8:51as us, we're spending like a lot of
- 8:53money, but this way is actually really
- 8:55really cheap. So I'll show you what
- 8:57we've got and then Matt has also made
- 9:00really delicious like curried broccoli,
- 9:02did you say?
- 9:03>> Yeah, in the air fryer.
- 9:04>> So that's curried broccoli in the air
- 9:05fryer. I'll link the recipe in the
- 9:07description if you want to check it out.
- 9:09I'll show you what we get from our local
- 9:11Indian takeaway to kind of go with what
- 9:13we've made. Okay, so this is my dinner.
- 9:15So we've got the chicken curry, we've
- 9:17got rice, some coriander on top and the
- 9:21curried broccoli that was done in the
- 9:22air fryer. And then from our local place
- 9:25we just order the onion bhajis. We get
- 9:27the naans as well. So we have a plain
- 9:29naan and a peshwari naan. That's my
- 9:31favorite. It's got like coconut in it.
- 9:33It honestly tastes like a dessert. So
- 9:34good. Then we have mango chutney at home
- 9:37And then we order poppadoms for
- 9:39everyone. And mint sauce. We didn't
- 9:42order this much, but I think they know
- 9:44we like it. So, we have literally just
- 9:46paid for these bits, but it makes it
- 9:50feel like a proper takeaway if that
- 9:52makes sense. And it's really delicious.
- 9:54All of us love curry so much in this
- 9:57house. Um, it's one of Jackson's
- 9:58favorites.
- 10:00Yes, so we're all going to have this now
- 10:01as a family and then watch Celebrity
- 10:04Traitors. We are absolutely loving
- 10:06watching that. And just have a very
- 10:08chilled like cozy night at home. Um, but
- 10:12yeah, I think I'll actually end the vlog
- 10:13here. I hope you enjoyed this video. I
- 10:15hope it gave you like a little bit of
- 10:17inspiration. I know I always love to see
- 10:19what other families are eating and
- 10:21enjoying because feeding a family is
- 10:24like such a task. You have to think
- 10:26about it every single day. So, anyway, I
- 10:28hope you enjoyed it and I will see you
- 10:30guys in my next one. Bye.
