- 0:00welcome back to the research World in
- 0:03this video we are going to similar our
- 0:08identical Concepts but technically they
- 0:11are
- 0:13different from one another that is the
- 0:16research problem versus the research
- 0:19question so let's discuss the research
- 0:22problem versus research
- 0:25question so let's first Define what do
- 0:28we mean by the research problem what is
- 0:30research problem from the researcher
- 0:34point of
- 0:35view so simply a research problem is a
- 0:39statement about an area of concern or a
- 0:43condition to be improved a difficulty to
- 0:46be eliminated are filling the Gap in
- 0:48literature there can be so many
- 0:51different
- 0:52reasons for formulating a research
- 0:55problem for example there is some sort
- 0:58of the problem and you want to solve it
- 1:00so you need a research problem or there
- 1:03uh needs there is a condition and you
- 1:06want to improve the condition so that is
- 1:09also a research problem or uh there is
- 1:12some Gap in the literature review and
- 1:14you are going to filling the Gap that
- 1:17will also uh give rise to the research
- 1:21problem now what is uh your research
- 1:25question so in order to answer your
- 1:29research Arch problem a research
- 1:32question provides an area to focus on
- 1:35regarding a research
- 1:37problem is it
- 1:40confusing so let's dis so let's see the
- 1:48example research
- 1:50problem a research problem can relate to
- 1:53a specific topic or the
- 1:56opportunity for example the climate
- 2:00change as we notice the day by day
- 2:06derating condition of our climate
- 2:08changes the global warming and the so
- 2:12much
- 2:13other problems we are facing nowadays in
- 2:17the climate change so climate change is
- 2:19the specific topic or the area that
- 2:23needs to be
- 2:25addressed so what can be the research
- 2:29question over here
- 2:30a research question provides an area to
- 2:33focus on regarding a research problem
- 2:37for example how do ozone levels impact
- 2:41Global temperature levels so if you are
- 2:44going to study the ozone levels impact
- 2:47on the Glo Global temperature levels
- 2:50that is the support of the climate
- 2:52change so now you would be in the
- 2:56position to differentiate the two
- 2:58concepts that research problem is a
- 3:01bigger is a general of a specific
- 3:05Concept in order
- 3:07to answer the problem or answer that
- 3:11specific topic or issue you need
- 3:15some area to focus and that is your
- 3:19research question for example in this
- 3:21scenario the climate change your
- 3:23research problem but how are you going
- 3:28to address this
- 3:30issue or the topic that is you are going
- 3:34to check or to study the impact of the
- 3:38ozone layers on the global temperature
- 3:41levels so that will be a research
- 3:46question thank you for watching
- 3:48hopefully this video will help you out
- 3:51in understanding the difference between
- 3:53research question versus
- 3:55research problem thank you for watching
