- 0:10with 17 goals
- 0:12and a universal commitment:
- 0:14To end poverty,
- 0:16hunger,
- 0:17and reduce inequalities.
- 0:20To make our planet cleaner,
- 0:22safer,
- 0:24sustainable.
- 0:25And to work together to fill our lives
- 0:28with opportunity through health,
- 0:31education, justice and prosperity.
- 0:35Decent Work helps us achieve all of these goals.
- 0:42But what is decent work?
- 0:44Global polls rank access to jobs as a priority
- 0:49And not just any job... quality jobs.
- 0:53Not just any work... decent work.
- 0:57Decent work means:
- 0:59Dignity,
- 1:00Equality,
- 1:01A fair income,
- 1:03And safe working conditions.
- 1:07Decent work puts people at the centre of development.
- 1:12It gives women, men and youth a voice in what they do.
- 1:17The rights to protect them from exploitation,
- 1:20And a future that is inclusive and sustainable.
- 1:26Decent Work drives Sustainable development.
- 1:31Decent Work: For a Better World.
