  10. 0:27maybe technically uh you know the the
  11. 0:30title virtual assistant is um uh you
  12. 0:33know still exist uh but the way people
  13. 0:36think about it the old version
  14. 0:40data entry
  15. 0:42emails um
  16. 0:45virtual assistant of course that
  17. 0:46definition is dead you know that's
  18. 0:48that's the old version god
  19. 0:51extinct.

  28. 1:22you know
  29. 1:24I will tell it to you and you know
  30. 1:26basically how can someone with no

  37. 1:47I mean,
  38. 1:51it's me again, Bri.
  39. 1:57afternoon.
  40. 2:00But yeah, guys, I am Brian. Uh, I want
  41. 2:02to, you know, introduce myself and
  42. 2:05before we can get into the actual topic,
  43. 2:07I want to share something, you know,
  44. 2:08real quick because I want you guys to
  45. 2:10understand why I make this videos, why
  46. 2:13everything on the Katam portal is free,
  47. 2:17why I don't sell courses, because if you
  48. 2:19know, if you understand the why,
  49. 2:21everything else is going to make a lot
  50. 2:23more sense. you know uh as you know just
  51. 2:26just uh recap recap I was I was 18 years
  52. 2:29old guys when I started I have no degree
  53. 2:32I have uh no previous work uh experience
  54. 2:35I was literally hopping between you know
  55. 2:38houses
  56. 2:42because you know we had some like stuff
  57. 2:45uh going on a family that's why I had
  58. 2:48you know to to leave like that you know
  59. 2:51I I got no um own room and guys I am
  60. 2:55recording this video healing room that I
  61. 2:58personally designed and this is one of
  62. 3:00the boomig
  63. 3:03virtual assistant remote worker
  64. 3:05freelancer however you want to call it.
  65. 3:07Uh so of course during that time as well
  66. 3:10I I got no stable internet.
  67. 3:15Uh so and actually I want to tell you
  68. 3:18this story because uh
  69. 3:21internet
  70. 3:25because uh before I was living with with
  71. 3:28with a families or a relatives's house
  72. 3:34and then
  73. 3:37of course
  74. 3:40during that time online classes so
  75. 3:43important
  76. 3:44is internet. So, I had to go to my to to
  77. 3:47the to my relative's house where
  78. 3:57you know
  79. 3:59virtual assistant virtual assistant in
  80. 4:02general
  81. 4:08title internet or Wi-Fi. Um during that
  82. 4:12time I didn't know what uh you know I
  83. 4:14didn't know what a virtual assistant is.
  84. 4:16I didn't even know that online jobs ph
  85. 4:19up LinkedIn even VA agencies existed. I
  86. 4:23didn't know that someone in America
  87. 4:24would pay me to to manage uh to manage
  88. 4:27their calendar their email you know book
  89. 4:29their flights
  90. 4:32like literally talaga during like before
  91. 4:35I even started I basically had to to
  92. 4:37figure it out all on my own. uh trial
  93. 4:40and error, you know, those those kinds
  94. 4:43of things. And now uh I'm proud uh
  95. 4:45because I am uh 22 years old. I um you
  96. 4:49know, I've been working as a remote
  97. 4:52worker for 4 years, guys. Four years.
  98. 4:54Imagine
  99. 4:57four years virtual assistant
  100. 5:00or like remote worker.
  101. 5:04I can still feel or remember the time.
  102. 5:07Basically, I currently work as a chief
  103. 5:09of staff. Uh uh you know, I have been uh
  104. 5:14technically or promoted uh from being
  105. 5:16like from business ops to to executive
  106. 5:18assistant to uh to chief of staff
  107. 5:23path. Um and uh yeah, I was able to to
  108. 5:27reunite my siblings. This is one of the
  109. 5:30I would say best things uh or one of my
  110. 5:33wise uh why I even started because I
  111. 5:36want to reunite my siblings. If you know
  112. 5:39my story
  113. 5:41like literally separate from one house
  114. 5:43two houses
  115. 5:45relatives and um it was like 11 years
  116. 5:49guys imagine like I was just 8 years old
  117. 5:52during the time and 11 years imagine.
  118. 5:57Oh [clears throat]
  119. 5:59But I, you know, remembering that like,
  120. 6:03you know, we've been we we've been
  121. 6:05together for 3 years. We've been bonding
  122. 6:07together for 3 years. Every single
  123. 6:09weekend,
  124. 6:21I was able to to actually do that, you
  125. 6:24know. I was able to reunite my family
  126. 6:25and wow, 3 years. three years
  127. 6:30and I'm super happy that we're all doing
  128. 6:33so well
  129. 6:35and
  130. 6:37proud and also one of the the best
  131. 6:40things then is you know having my my
  132. 6:42first car. I bought this in 2024. I
  133. 6:45think you know two years remote worker I
  134. 6:48was able to buy my first car and I'm so
  135. 6:51proud. I was so proud during that time
  136. 6:56for myself.
  137. 7:01So I'm super happy about about that. And
  138. 7:04and guys, I don't I don't say that to to
  139. 7:06bragchievements
  140. 7:12milestones uh uh you know after going
  141. 7:16through lots and lots of challenges.
  142. 7:20Um, I say that, you know, because if I
  143. 7:23do that, you know, if I was able to do
  144. 7:24that starting from literally nothing,
  145. 7:28literally nothing with a thirdand laptop
  146. 7:36and yeah, if I was able to do that, then
  147. 7:39what's stopping you? What's stopping you
  148. 7:42from at least trying
  149. 7:45connections? You need the right
  150. 7:47information, and that's what this video
  151. 7:49is about. So whether you're, you know,
  152. 7:51you're a working student or you're a
  153. 7:53student watching this at, let's say, 2
  154. 7:55a.m., a mom trying to to find work from
  155. 7:58home job
  156. 8:00or someone who just lost their job and
  157. 8:03start, I think I got you. This is for
  158. 8:05you. And quick tip before we continue,
  159. 8:08if you're watching this and thinking,
  160. 8:13but that's the point. I don't do short.
  161. 8:15I don't, you know, do surface level. uh
  162. 8:20surface level content. I give you
  163. 8:21everything so you don't have to look
  164. 8:23anywhere else. So, you know,
  165. 8:31video
  166. 8:34let's get actually into it.
  167. 8:37But for the next few videos, of course,
  168. 8:40introduction for sure. So, video. All
  169. 8:43right. Uh so, let's start from scratch
  170. 8:45like kindergarten level.
  171. 8:49ang virtual assistant. What is a virtual
  172. 8:52assistant? So ano bangalam talaga
  173. 8:55virtual assistant.
  174. 8:57Okay, so a virtual assistant or a VA is
  175. 9:01someone who provides services to a
  176. 9:03business or a busy professional remotely
  177. 9:07or online. That's it. That's the core
  178. 9:10definition. You work from home. You use
  179. 9:12your laptop or desktop. you you help
  180. 9:14someone run their business or manage
  181. 9:16their life and they pay you for it
  182. 9:19simply simply. But here's what a lot of
  183. 9:23beginners get confused.
  184. 9:27They hear assistant and they think oh
  185. 9:34like I answer phones and type you know
  186. 9:37all day all day long. No, but well, you
  187. 9:41know, maybe sometimes honestly, but in
  188. 9:432026, being a VA is
  189. 9:47is so much bigger than that. And here's
  190. 9:50a tip that I wish someone told me early.
  191. 9:54The word the the word assistant in in
  192. 9:56virtual assistant, think of it like uh
  193. 10:00or think of it more like support system.
  194. 10:03You're not just assisting a business,
  195. 10:07you are enabling someone to scale their
  196. 10:10business.
  197. 10:12You assist a business, you enable a
  198. 10:15business to scale. Different
  199. 10:19virtual assistant
  200. 10:21framing process
  201. 10:25most especially when you start talking
  202. 10:27to to clients later on. Okay. Okay. Now
  203. 10:31let me put it this way guys. Let me
  204. 10:34introduce you to someone possibly
  205. 10:39s Jamie. So s Jamie client. So he's a
  206. 10:43startup founder based in New York. He
  207. 10:46runs a small tech uh company
  208. 10:50super overwhelmed and he needs help.
  209. 10:53We're going to use Jamie throughout this
  210. 10:55video and um honestly throughout a lot
  211. 10:58of my tutorials because it's easier to
  212. 11:00learn when you can actually, you know,
  213. 11:02picture uh a real person you're helping.
  214. 11:05So yeah, let let's break down what Jamie
  215. 11:07needs. Uh maybe Jamie needs someone to
  216. 11:11manage his inbox.
  217. 11:13I'm talking like source through 200
  218. 11:15emails a day, flag the important ones,
  219. 11:18draft uh replies, and make sure nothing
  220. 11:21falls through the cracks.
  221. 11:27No way. Like busy professional
  222. 11:32emails, 200 emails every day, 100, 300,
  223. 11:3510,000 emails every day.
  224. 11:38That's where a general admin VA comes
  225. 11:41in.
  226. 11:43easy. Or maybe Jamie needs someone to
  227. 11:47run his entire calendar, schedule
  228. 11:49meetings across three time zones, block
  229. 11:52focus time, coordinate with his
  230. 11:54investors, uh prepare agendas before
  231. 11:56every call, and you know, send follow uh
  232. 11:58send send follow-up uh notes uh after.
  233. 12:02Guys, that is not just admin work.
  234. 12:06That's strategic. basically nutritional
  235. 12:09stuff
  236. 12:13investor research
  237. 12:17executive assistant
  238. 12:20executive assistant
  239. 12:25executive assistant Brian I started as
  240. 12:28an executive assistant first ever role I
  241. 12:32was the chief the chief of staff I was
  242. 12:34the executive assistant to the uh chief
  243. 12:36financial officer and chief operations
  244. 12:39officer of a fintech company. So imagine
  245. 12:44work before or maybe some uh you know
  246. 12:48maybe Jamie also has an online store
  247. 12:51selling products on Shopify. Uh he needs
  248. 12:53someone to let's say upload new new
  249. 12:55products, track inventories, process
  250. 12:57orders, handle customer messages, manage
  251. 13:00returns. That's a completely different
  252. 13:03skill set. That's an e-commerce VA. So
  253. 13:07basic basic. So there are a lot more now
  254. 13:10e-commerce VA uh VA does. So or maybe
  255. 13:16Jamie wants to grow his brand on
  256. 13:18Instagram and Tik Tok
  257. 13:22in the future.
  258. 13:25He needs he needs let's say content
  259. 13:26calendars. He needs captions. He need
  260. 13:28Canva graphics. He needs reals editing
  261. 13:30analytics reports. That's a social media
  262. 13:33management VA. You see where I'm going
  263. 13:35with this guys?
  264. 13:37Virtual assistant is not one job. It's
  265. 13:41an umbrella. Imagine it literally like
  266. 13:43an umbrella.
  267. 13:46Umbrella
  268. 13:48and umbrella. So umbrella umbrella.
  269. 13:52There are dozens
  270. 13:55dozens like a lot of specializations,
  271. 13:58you know, specializations, different
  272. 14:00skill sets, different tool sets,
  273. 14:02different pay rate. And that that right
  274. 14:06there is the part most people miss. They
  275. 14:09think VA is one thing.
  276. 14:16virtual assistant virtual assistant
  277. 14:20VA data entry
  278. 14:23it's not it's a whole universe and once
  279. 14:27you understand that everything changes
  280. 14:30because instead of saying I'm a VA you
  281. 14:34start saying I'm a VA who specializes in
  282. 14:37this and that specificity that's what
  283. 14:42gets you hired faster and paid more But
  284. 14:46we'll get deeper into that uh in a bit.
  285. 14:48Uh and here's here's something practical
  286. 14:50for you guys. When you're starting out
  287. 14:52and people ask, "What do you do?" Don't
  288. 14:54just say, "I'm a virtual assistant."
  289. 14:55Say, it's not like
  290. 14:58uh you know, but say, "I help business
  291. 15:00owners manage their blank." No, fill in
  292. 15:03the blank. And whatever you you whatever
  293. 15:06niche uh you pick, let's say I help
  294. 15:09business owners manage their email and
  295. 15:11calendars. I help e-commerce brands run
  296. 15:14their Shopify stores. Sounds completely
  297. 15:16different, right?
  298. 15:18Same job but better framing. Very
  299. 15:22important when you when you work with
  300. 15:24clients later on. Okay. So, now that you
  301. 15:26understand the the umbrella concept,
  302. 15:29let's zoom in what's actually underneath
  303. 15:31it. You know, let me give you the quick
  304. 15:33map. Uh now, uh I have a full guide on
  305. 15:36this. It's called the 2026 niche guide.
  306. 15:39It's on the Katamber portal. It's free
  307. 15:41and it goes deep into every single
  308. 15:43niche. Uh the tools, the pay ranges, the
  309. 15:46the the growth potential, everything.
  310. 15:49But for now, uh overwhelm is overwhelm.
  311. 15:54Let me just give you the highlight. So,
  312. 15:56so, so, uh you know what's out there.
  313. 15:58Think of this as your
  314. 16:01restaurant menu. You're just browsing
  315. 16:04for now. Okay. So check
  316. 16:13here.
  317. 16:18There you go. Full guide
  318. 16:217day validation sprint and then
  319. 16:24videos.
  320. 16:35Okay, let's go back.
  321. 16:38Okay, here are the the major uh VA
  322. 16:40niches in 2026. Number one, general
  323. 16:44administrative VA. This is the the entry
  324. 16:47point for most people. Uh email
  325. 16:49management, calendar scheduling, data
  326. 16:51entry, file organization, travel booking
  327. 16:54and in terms of pay range guys. So this
  328. 16:57is not just uh your knowledge but I
  329. 16:59actually research guys. So if if
  330. 17:03accurate um this should be like the
  331. 17:05average for entry talaga like no
  332. 17:08experience uh but but let me know in the
  333. 17:10comment section what's the updated one
  334. 17:12if you've got you know your your own
  335. 17:14research. Okay. Uh around $4 to $6 per
  336. 17:17hour. Uh and that's around like $600
  337. 17:21$600 to $1,000 a month. Um and actually
  338. 17:24this is you know this is where people uh
  339. 17:27mostly start and this is then this is
  340. 17:29important. Huh? Don't but but but I
  341. 17:31would say that don't stay there. Don't
  342. 17:33stay here.
  343. 17:35This this this niche has the most
  344. 17:38competition and you know lowest pay
  345. 17:40ceiling. Uh and quick tip on this one
  346. 17:43though, even if you start as a general
  347. 17:45VA, immediately start learning one
  348. 17:47specialized skill on the side could be
  349. 17:49let's say Canva, uh let's say
  350. 17:52Quickbooks, project management system,
  351. 17:54cuz the the faster you specialize um the
  352. 17:58faster that the faster that you
  353. 18:00specialize on things, the faster you
  354. 18:02rate uh you know your rate goes up.
  355. 18:05Don't wait until you you feel you feel
  356. 18:07ready. I would say
  357. 18:12you know
  358. 18:16I would say start learning now while
  359. 18:18while you're earning
  360. 18:24let's say so number two uh executive
  361. 18:28assistance so this is my my niche
  362. 18:30actually guys this is how I became so as
  363. 18:33I told you earlier this is how I became
  364. 18:34a chief of staff uh so you know calendar
  365. 18:37manager management across time zones,
  366. 18:39inbox triad. So, it's different from
  367. 18:41just email management. I mean, email
  368. 18:44email like sorting stuff. uh meeting
  369. 18:46preparation, travel logistics, uh
  370. 18:48decision support, uh board meeting
  371. 18:50support,
  372. 18:53uh in terms of pay range an $6 to $15 an
  373. 18:56hourpecially
  374. 18:59year before
  375. 19:01$10 average, but it can go as high as up
  376. 19:05to like $15 dependecially
  377. 19:09if like you've got beginner beginner uh
  378. 19:12stuff. So in terms of the demand in 2026
  379. 19:16very high
  380. 19:18US-based startups and founders
  381. 19:24assistant talaga closely working with
  382. 19:26them closely getting support uh from
  383. 19:29from someone and in terms of the growth
  384. 19:31potential uh you can also uh you know uh
  385. 19:34evolve into a chief of staff or
  386. 19:36operations manager uh and that's exactly
  387. 19:38what I did. I have a uh I have a
  388. 19:41tutorial uh I have tutorials on on the
  389. 19:43portal that walk you through it. So if
  390. 19:46you want to go through it guys
  391. 19:49uh in terms of best practice nan for
  392. 19:51aspiring I would say now be proactive. I
  393. 19:54think that's that's one of the best
  394. 19:55things
  395. 19:57executive assistant think ahead of your
  396. 19:59client guys if let's say Jamie has a
  397. 20:02meeting at 10:00 a.m. Don't just put it
  398. 20:04on the calendar. Prepare the agenda.
  399. 20:06Attach the documents he'll need. Check
  400. 20:08if there's a time zone conflict.
  401. 20:10Anticipate
  402. 20:12difference between a good EA and a great
  403. 20:15one. Simply there are a lot more uh
  404. 20:18samples that I could I could share with
  405. 20:20you. Number three is social media
  406. 20:22management VA content calendars,
  407. 20:25captions, Canva designs, wheels editing,
  408. 20:27even community management. So those are
  409. 20:29the like the fundamentals
  410. 20:32social media v. There are a lot more. Uh
  411. 20:34and here's the the 2026 update, guys.
  412. 20:37And this is important. It's not it's not
  413. 20:40about hashtags anymore for sure
  414. 20:47algorithm. It's about SEO driven
  415. 20:50captions. Now platforms are search
  416. 20:53engines now
  417. 20:58Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook,
  418. 21:00they all use search algorithm now. So
  419. 21:03instead of cramming 80 or 30 hashtags,
  420. 21:06you write keyword rich uh captions
  421. 21:10and uh details about this niche guide.
  422. 21:14So I would highly suggest check
  423. 21:18portal. So
  424. 21:20number four is
  425. 21:23e-commerce VA. So, Shopify, Amazon,
  426. 21:26Etsy, product listings, inventory
  427. 21:29management, order processing, customer
  428. 21:31service for online stores. Demand is
  429. 21:34very high guys. Imagine imagine
  430. 21:37e-commerce
  431. 21:41search.
  432. 21:43It's exploding globally
  433. 21:46DTC brands direct to consumer
  434. 21:51usual rate. Number five is bookkeeping.
  435. 21:54uh QuickBooks QuickBooks uh zero fresh
  436. 21:58books a lot more like tools uh does bank
  437. 22:01reconciliation yan m invoice processing
  438. 22:05uh and here's something guys interesting
  439. 22:07about about bookkeeping and um you
  440. 22:09finance VA
  441. 22:13if you have any accounting background
  442. 22:15even if it's just you know one subject
  443. 22:17from college even if you don't finish
  444. 22:20this niche is is honestly a good you
  445. 22:22know a good kind of starters for you
  446. 22:25probably client will pay premium because
  447. 22:27they need someone uh they can trust with
  448. 22:29their money there like that that's real
  449. 22:32uh in terms of like uh maybe beginner
  450. 22:35friendly stuff I mean rate six to to $15
  451. 22:39an hour I mean they can pay as high as
  452. 22:41that uh possibly and in terms of like
  453. 22:44tipto I would say now get you know quick
  454. 22:47online certification certification
  455. 22:50from these platforms
  456. 22:54And you know it it makes you uh
  457. 22:56immediately more credible. I can also
  458. 22:59put a link uh to the portal for that.
  459. 23:01Number six, this is very interesting.
  460. 23:03Project management VAMA,
  461. 23:06Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, cello, a lot
  462. 23:09more project management tools. Even
  463. 23:11notion is is considered project
  464. 23:13management tool.
  465. 23:15Task management, team coordination,
  466. 23:17create SOP. So in terms of SOP guys
  467. 23:20templates learning portal then start
  468. 23:22here or templates templates. So you
  469. 23:27project management VA
  470. 23:30create workflows and and guys if you can
  471. 23:33do automation with Zapier or or make uh
  472. 23:36or make on top of that you're you're
  473. 23:38instantly in a higher you know higher
  474. 23:41level higher level so
  475. 23:45guys
  476. 23:47efficiency efficiency so I really like
  477. 23:49efficiency
  478. 23:55so Yeah, and there are even more guys.
  479. 24:01Content writing VA, customer service VA,
  480. 24:04digital marketing VA, real estate VA,
  481. 24:06tech automation VA, podcast production
  482. 24:09VA, healthcare VA. And again guys,
  483. 24:14like okay,
  484. 24:17average based on research.
  485. 24:20I'm not going to to uh go deeper into
  486. 24:24all of this. You can check again the
  487. 24:262026 niche guide to to check this this
  488. 24:29out. Okay.
  489. 24:31Uh now
  490. 24:35let's talk about data because I know
  491. 24:37guys some of you are sitting there
  492. 24:39thinking okay sounds good Brian sounds
  493. 24:43good but this is actually a real career
  494. 24:46like is this a real career?
  495. 24:52Let me show you the global market
  496. 24:56of virtual assistant is projected to
  497. 24:58reach 25.63
  498. 25:01billion in 2026. Huh? 2026 billion
  499. 25:07billion with a
  500. 25:10and it's growing at 20 I think 20.3%
  501. 25:14year-over-year. In the Philippines, we
  502. 25:17are the number one VA destination in the
  503. 25:19world based on uh research. One in eight
  504. 25:23freelancers
  505. 25:25is Filipino. If you you make a research
  506. 25:27about that.
  507. 25:31We are literally the world champions
  508. 25:40and
  509. 25:43over 60% of virtual assistants now use
  510. 25:47advanced platforms like Quickbooks,
  511. 25:49HubSpot, Salesforce,
  512. 25:52Zapier, you know those kinds of uh tools
  513. 25:54and even more AIS. Uh so you know the
  514. 25:59bar is rising which means
  515. 26:07level.
  516. 26:10Okay. All right. Again you know this is
  517. 26:14real talk.
  518. 26:16Check check check this uh this this
  519. 26:18slide guys.
  520. 26:20The market is also getting crowded
  521. 26:24and itong slide nto this is the one I
  522. 26:27need you to understand guys really
  523. 26:29really understand if you market yourself
  524. 26:32as a general VA who can do everything
  525. 26:35you're com you're basically competing
  526. 26:37with everyone
  527. 26:39basically competing with everyone and
  528. 26:41when you compete with everyone you
  529. 26:44compete on I know price
  530. 26:49rate And
  531. 26:58but if you specialize, let's say I
  532. 27:00manage sapphi
  533. 27:03Shopify stores for DTC brands. I do be
  534. 27:06uh bookkeeping for US-based startups
  535. 27:08using QuickBooks. Now you're competing
  536. 27:11with a few hundred people,
  537. 27:15not a few hundred thousand. and your
  538. 27:17rate jumps to 7 to 10 to 12 to 15 to 20
  539. 27:22to 25 to 30 to7,000
  540. 27:25$7,000 per uh $7,000 per hour. Wow. Uh
  541. 27:29ano difference guys
  542. 27:33niche that's it niche. And this is the
  543. 27:37whole and and and this this whole bro
  544. 27:39breakdown guys is in the niche guide. So
  545. 27:42I want you guys to check that out. Uh
  546. 27:44again uh
  547. 27:47guys. So yan and then there you go. So
  548. 27:50yan. Okay. All right. So consider
  549. 27:54best friend.
  550. 27:57Okay. So we we just covered a lot of of
  551. 28:00niches and numbers. And I know I know
  552. 28:04some of you are sitting there uh right
  553. 28:07now thinking, "Okay, Brian,
  554. 28:11but I literally have zero experience.
  555. 28:14I've never worked online. And I've never
  556. 28:16worked in the corporate setup. I don't
  557. 28:18even have I don't even know what a Slack
  558. 28:20is. I don't even know how how LinkedIn
  559. 28:23WhatsApp works. I don't know what Asana
  560. 28:26is.
  561. 28:28And I get that. I hear you. I was you.
  562. 28:32If you know,
  563. 28:34I was literally you guys. Like
  564. 28:37literally, not you know, not
  565. 28:38figuratively. Literally, I was like you.
  566. 28:41No experience, no work experience at
  567. 28:44all.
  568. 28:46Yeah.
  569. 28:48So, let me address this this directly
  570. 28:51because this is probably the the the
  571. 28:52most important uh part of of the whole
  572. 28:55video.
  573. 28:57Important important part. Uh and let me
  574. 29:00be be very clear about you. You do not
  575. 29:03need to start with a college degree.
  576. 29:06Well, important
  577. 29:10to finish. Personally, I don't have one
  578. 29:13yet. Just yet. My client, my my current
  579. 29:15client has never asked even once about
  580. 29:18my diploma.
  581. 29:22They don't they don't care.
  582. 29:32And honestly, you know, most US-based
  583. 29:34clients, they they don't even ask. What
  584. 29:36matters is can you do the work? Can you
  585. 29:39do this? Can you provide outcomes for
  586. 29:41me? Years of experience. uh sorry years
  587. 29:45of experience. I started at 18 with
  588. 29:48nothing, zero clients, zero portfolio.
  589. 29:51My first client took a chance on on me
  590. 29:53because I showed up
  591. 29:57effort.
  592. 30:08I showed initiative. I showed that I can
  593. 30:12you know I want to learn and that was
  594. 30:13enough and I was able to grow man you
  595. 30:16know fancy equipment I started with a
  596. 30:18third-hand laptop not secondhand guys
  597. 30:21thirdand
  598. 30:26laptop and I'm I'm super grateful
  599. 30:32so as long as you have you know a
  600. 30:34working laptop stable internet and a
  601. 30:36reasonably quiet space start perfect
  602. 30:40English
  603. 30:41obvious. I am not you know in any way my
  604. 30:44accent
  605. 30:47American accent or native American
  606. 30:49accent. I I can only speak you know
  607. 30:52English uh and I for sure started as
  608. 30:55well.
  609. 31:04I would I would say now I've really
  610. 31:05improved so much and if you if you are
  611. 31:07understanding my video when I speak
  612. 31:09English
  613. 31:13you're capable for sure if you can
  614. 31:16follow this conversation you are capable
  615. 31:18for sure I would just say now you try to
  616. 31:20to learn try to speak more you try to
  617. 31:23actually practice then um
  618. 31:31they want someone who's you know
  619. 31:32responsive professional and get things
  620. 31:34done,
  621. 31:36English professor. And here's my tip,
  622. 31:38guys.
  623. 31:40Uh, one of the best things you can do
  624. 31:43for your English confidence is just
  625. 31:45consume English content. Watch YouTube
  626. 31:47in English, listen to podcast, read
  627. 31:49articles. It's very important,
  628. 31:59but I want you guys to read them. But at
  629. 32:01least you get to improve your your
  630. 32:03English communication skills then
  631. 32:05because you know
  632. 32:08you're doing it already right now.
  633. 32:09You're listening to me. I'm speaking in
  634. 32:11English.
  635. 32:14Uh because the more you expose yourself
  636. 32:16to it naturally, the more natural it
  637. 32:19becomes when you speak.
  638. 32:23So I try to you know English. Uh but you
  639. 32:28know I can confidently speak in English.
  640. 32:35Uh now what you do actually need is the
  641. 32:39willingness to learn and I don't mean
  642. 32:40spending money on courses. Uh you know
  643. 32:43courses.
  644. 32:46I mean, I'm not against courses, but you
  645. 32:49know, you have to really really choose.
  646. 32:51I mean, you can you can start watching
  647. 32:52like free videos. Uh, search on your
  648. 32:55own. Try to be independent, guys. Try to
  649. 32:58be independent then cuz that's what
  650. 33:01going to to to help you uh, you know,
  651. 33:05like actually land client
  652. 33:08or at least a direction, not just you
  653. 33:10know, I want to be a VA. Okay, that's
  654. 33:12that's that's too vague, guys.
  655. 33:15I want to be an employee.
  656. 33:18Employee of what? Instead, try I want to
  657. 33:21learn how to manage someone's inbox and
  658. 33:23calendar using Google Workspace.
  659. 33:28There there's big difference. Specific,
  660. 33:30clear, learnable. You can actually
  661. 33:32Google that and and find tutorials. If
  662. 33:34you say I want to be a VA
  663. 33:38very actionable
  664. 33:40profile online jobs ph LinkedIn upwork
  665. 33:44this one you know actually LinkedIn
  666. 33:47LinkedIn online jobs LinkedIn upwork
  667. 33:52or more profiles
  668. 33:55it's best and video about that guide
  669. 33:58about that how do you set up uh your
  670. 34:00LinkedIn app work on profile it's a long
  671. 34:03read but this will definitely give you
  672. 34:05uh real real real valuable tips, guys.
  673. 34:10Okay?
  674. 34:12All right. So, and here's the thing,
  675. 34:14guys. I want you to to really sit with
  676. 34:16because this is the this is [snorts]
  677. 34:18maybe uh the most important thing I'll
  678. 34:20I'll say in this entire video.
  679. 34:24Every single person who is earning $15
  680. 34:26an hour right now as a VA started at
  681. 34:30zero. Every single one. They didn't have
  682. 34:34some magical advantage guys for sure.
  683. 34:36They didn't go to a specialized school
  684. 34:40VA. The only difference between them and
  685. 34:42you is that they started we started they
  686. 34:46were scared for sure. They they felt
  687. 34:49confused and they felt unqualified just
  688. 34:52like you might feel right now before
  689. 34:55start anyway.
  690. 34:58And actually speaking of feeling
  691. 35:00unqualified, that that leads me to this
  692. 35:03dislike.
  693. 35:05And I really uh need to talk about this
  694. 35:08because
  695. 35:10this is something that nobody addresses
  696. 35:13in this how to become a VA videos. And
  697. 35:15honestly, it's the thing that actually
  698. 35:17stops people. It's [clears throat] not
  699. 35:19the skills. It's not the the internet
  700. 35:21internet speed. It's not the laptop.
  701. 35:24It's the voice in your head that says
  702. 35:27who are you to change someone money uh
  703. 35:30someone's uh someone money for your who
  704. 35:33are you to charge someone for for your
  705. 35:36work
  706. 35:38experience
  707. 35:40feeling
  708. 35:46English you're going to just embarrass
  709. 35:47yourself
  710. 35:49this person doesn't even know what
  711. 35:50you're what what they're doing that
  712. 35:53voice Guys, that's imposter syndrome.
  713. 35:55And I need you to know something. I I
  714. 35:57still hear it sometimes. Even now, even
  715. 36:00as a chief of staff, uh even like I earn
  716. 36:03however much I earn or like four years
  717. 36:07of experience.
  718. 36:09I sit I sit there and think, am I really
  719. 36:12qualified for this? What if they they
  720. 36:14find out?
  721. 36:17And the answer is yes. The answer is
  722. 36:20yes.
  723. 36:22Energy guys the answer is yes I am
  724. 36:25qualified
  725. 36:27mindset qualified because I show up I
  726. 36:30learn I adapt I deliver results and that
  727. 36:32what matters
  728. 36:40and you will too guys you just haven't
  729. 36:41started yet so here's what I want you to
  730. 36:44do if you're watching this and you're
  731. 36:46feeling that fear
  732. 36:49ready you know feeling I want you to
  733. 36:52take a deep a deep breath, guys. Inhale.
  734. 36:58Inhale.
  735. 37:02Exhale. Okay. Inhale.
  736. 37:06Exhale. All right. And I want you to
  737. 37:08know guys, you're not uh you're not
  738. 37:11supposed to feel ready. Nobody feels
  739. 37:13ready.
  740. 37:16You start and then you become ready.
  741. 37:19That's how it works.
  742. 37:21That's how it always work guys.
  743. 37:29Start. And one more tip on this. Huh? A
  744. 37:32practical one. When a when an imposter
  745. 37:35syndrome hits, it will it will hit.
  746. 37:40Write down three things you've you've
  747. 37:41done that week
  748. 37:45that move you forward. Basically, even
  749. 37:47small things. I finished watching a
  750. 37:49tutorial of Brian. I set up my like
  751. 37:52LinkedIn account. Practice making a
  752. 37:54Canva design. Those are wins. Celebrate
  753. 37:57them cuz progress is progress no matter
  754. 37:59how small. Progress yan.
  755. 38:02Okay. Okay. Now
  756. 38:06imposter syndrome. Now that we get that
  757. 38:09out of the way, let's talk about what's
  758. 38:12next for you. because I want I I don't
  759. 38:15just just want you I I don't want to
  760. 38:17just give you motivational stuff. I want
  761. 38:20to give you the actual steps. So this is
  762. 38:23where we go from I understand what a VA
  763. 38:25is to I know exactly what to do about
  764. 38:27it. Road map and stage one and stage two
  765. 38:33because I don't just tell you guys
  766. 38:34what's possible. I show you exactly how
  767. 38:36to get there step by step. I'm trying to
  768. 38:39update the the videos and even this road
  769. 38:42road map might might uh get updated
  770. 38:44because I just followed how I have uh
  771. 38:46done this like in the past but you know
  772. 38:48possibly I will be able to to update
  773. 38:50this portal
  774. 38:55and progress from stages to two stages.
  775. 38:59So

  778. 39:06and then the rest. Okay, I won't you

  789. 39:34because I really want to help you. If
  790. 39:36you're watching this and you actually

  792. 39:40it, not just, you know, save it for
  793. 39:42later. Here's what you you do today or
  794. 39:44at least this week. Give yourself a
  795. 39:46deadline, guys. I think it's very
  796. 39:48important. Give yourself a deadline
  797. 39:50timeline. What's your goals? What's your
  798. 39:52priorities? Okay, one, you go to Katab
  799. 39:54portal, bookmark it, you know, set it as
  800. 39:57a tab that's that's always off open for
  801. 39:59you if you have to. It's your, you know,
  802. 40:01new resource resource hub. So if you go
  803. 40:03here, you just, you know, you just click
  804. 40:05this and then you bookmark. You bookmark
  805. 40:09this. You just, you know, star. Okay.
  806. 40:12Bookmark moy
  807. 40:16to download the 2026 niche guide. So to
  808. 40:19y guys and then download moto
  809. 40:24download. There you go. So
  810. 40:28guys,
  811. 40:34you have to finish that
  812. 40:37flop.
  813. 40:39Every niche, every pay range, every
  814. 40:41tool, every growth path. Three, pick
  815. 40:44your top three niches that interest you.
  816. 40:477-day validation sprint tracker. So I
  817. 40:50would say you do that. Four, download
  818. 40:53experience resume template.
  819. 40:56So there you go. Experience or career
  820. 40:59shifter. Uh five, come back to the
  821. 41:02portal for stage two. When you're done
  822. 41:03with with this four things, don't skip
  823. 41:05ahead. Build the foundation first, guys.
  824. 41:08So stage two. That's it. Five things.
  825. 41:14And if you get stuck on any of those,
  826. 41:16drop a comment below. You know, I read
  827. 41:18all of them. I try to read as much uh
  828. 41:20comments as possible. All right. All
  829. 41:23right, guys. Uh, let me wrap this up.
  830. 41:26And here's what I need you to take away
  831. 41:27from this video. A virtual assistant is
  832. 41:30not a secretary. It's not data entry.
  833. 41:32It's not a dead-end job in 2026. It is a
  834. 41:36legitimate high demand global career
  835. 41:38path that can take you from zero to to
  836. 41:40six figures or even six figures if you
  837. 41:43treat it seriously and if you specialize
  838. 41:46keyword specialize. The market is $25.63
  839. 41:51billion.
  840. 41:53I projected this 2026. The Philippines
  841. 41:55is still number one source of VA talent
  842. 41:57in the world. And the only thing that uh
  843. 42:00the only thing standing between you and
  844. 42:02your first client is information and
  845. 42:04action. The information it's all on the
  846. 42:06portal. All of it free.
  847. 42:12The action that's on you. That's on you
  848. 42:15guys. And I believe in you genuinely. I
  849. 42:16for sure believe in you. I trust you
  850. 42:18guys because I believed in myself. I was
  851. 42:20like like you. I didn't know it, you
  852. 42:23know, even though skill sets, I didn't
  853. 42:24know how to to actually do this. I had
  854. 42:27like a lot of imposter syndrome, but I I
  855. 42:29believe that you can do this uh as well.
  856. 42:33And I as a reminder, I don't sell
  857. 42:35courses. I don't gate give. I don't want
  858. 42:37to gate give things. Everything I know
  859. 42:39is on the portal. Okay. So,
  860. 42:44all right.
  861. 42:46And if I can do it, guys, with no
  862. 42:48degree, no experience, no connections,
  863. 42:50memory. I mean, I'm just just saying
  864. 42:54that I mean it. The portal is in the
  865. 42:56link in this uh is in the the
  866. 42:59description and pin in the comments.
  867. 43:01Start with start here. Follow the road
  868. 43:03map and when you land your first client,
  869. 43:05you will come back and tell me, okay?
  870. 43:09Drop a comment, send me a message, you
  871. 43:12know, s Instagram because that's the
  872. 43:15best notification I could ever get,
  873. 43:16guys. I get more excited about your wins
  874. 43:20than my own. And that's a fact. Oh, and
  875. 43:23and one more thing, if before I go, if
  876. 43:25you found this video helpful, share it,
  877. 43:27guys. Share it. Pay it forward. Send it
  878. 43:29to a friend, classmate who's looking for
  879. 43:32work. You never know. You know, this
  880. 43:34might be the video that that changes
  881. 43:36someone's life. It's free, guys. It's
  882. 43:38free. It costs nothing to to share and
  883. 43:42you might just need
  884. 43:45you just uh you might just just uh just
  885. 43:48help someone who needs it, you know.
  886. 43:50Guys, super super rooting for you.
