  1. 0:00The chief executive of Intel just spent
  2. 0:02almost $10 million of his own money
  3. 0:04buying Intel shares while the market is
  4. 0:06collapsing. Winston had to lie down on
  5. 0:09that news. And on the first day of
  6. 0:10trading after the stock fell 28% in a
  7. 0:13single session. Now, nobody made this
  8. 0:16guy do it. He sat through the worst week
  9. 0:19his company had had all year, looked at
  10. 0:21the share price, and decided to buy
  11. 0:23more. And he wasn't the only one. a
  12. 0:26director of MGM put 51 million into the
  13. 0:28casino group. Warren Buffett's Berkshire
  14. 0:31added 27 million in a little known stock
  15. 0:34and at a little known
  16. 0:37rent to own business most of heard of
  17. 0:40seven insiders bought within two days of
  18. 0:42each other. The CEO, the finance chief,
  19. 0:45the tech chief, and four more insiders.
  20. 0:47Seven. And on top, a sitting
  21. 0:49congresswoman just filed a paperwork
  22. 0:52showing she bought Nvidia in this time.
  23. 0:55Insiders are not always right. Intel is
  24. 0:58already lower than where the boss
  25. 0:59bought. But people sell shares for all
  26. 1:02sorts of reasons. You know, a tax bill,
  27. 1:04a divorce, a house, expensive mistress,
  28. 1:07that sort of thing. But they only buy
  29. 1:09for one. When the person who sits in the
  30. 1:12board meeting puts millions of their own
  31. 1:14money into their own shares, that is
  32. 1:16about as honest a signal as the stock
  33. 1:18market ever, ever gives you. And I track
  34. 1:21these and I want to walk you through
  35. 1:22them here. And you can follow along with
  36. 1:24us if you wish. And the app that Winston
  37. 1:27builds, it's called the Winston app. And
  38. 1:29literally this week, there was more in
  39. 1:31it than I can fit into one video. So I'm
  40. 1:33going to walk you through some of the
  41. 1:35important ones. You can look at all the
  42. 1:37other ones. I'm going to look you walk
  43. 1:38you through the big buys. So, if you
  44. 1:40want to follow along, click on the link
  45. 1:41down below. There's a four month free
  46. 1:43trial. It's zero risk. You don't like
  47. 1:44it, you just cancel it. And if you stick
  48. 1:47with me for a few minutes, you will know
  49. 1:49what the big money is actually buying.
  50. 1:51If you're wondering who I am, my name is
  51. 1:52Felix Nicholas Pin. I'm an economist,
  52. 1:54former investment banker, founder of the
  53. 1:56Pin Institute. That down there was
  54. 1:58Winston, who's got the big nose and
  55. 2:00sniffs out these traits for us. Zero
  56. 2:02sponsorships, zero endorsements ever. I
  57. 2:05generally tell you when I own a stock
  58. 2:06that I talk about just to be really
  59. 2:08really frank with you. But let's start
  60. 2:10with intra because it's the cleanest
  61. 2:12example of what real insider buying
  62. 2:16really looks like. So on Friday the 30th
  63. 2:20of October, Intel fell 28%.
  64. 2:23$92 to $65. Now on the Monday, the first
  65. 2:27day the market was open after Intel
  66. 2:30collapsed, Lip Bhutan, who is the chief
  67. 2:33executive of Intel, you can see it on
  68. 2:35the screen here, black and white or in
  69. 2:36green and white, uh, bought $9.7 million
  70. 2:40worth of shares. And I know that because
  71. 2:42my phone gave me a little alert on that
  72. 2:44and I was like, that's kind of curious.
  73. 2:46And I have a position open on Intel
  74. 2:48right now. I should say that. Again, not
  75. 2:50telling you to buy it. Not a financial
  76. 2:51adviser. I'm just saying I have some
  77. 2:52interest in Intel. So, I'll show it to
  78. 2:55you. You click on it. You go into Intel
  79. 2:58and you see his insider buying right
  80. 3:01here, right? 9.7 million. He bought 10
  81. 3:05more million in in August. And in
  82. 3:08fairness, the stock is down since. So,
  83. 3:10you know, he doesn't have a a sort of
  84. 3:12Midas touch. And again, whether he turns
  85. 3:15out to be right or not, it's a separate
  86. 3:16question here. What you know for certain
  87. 3:19is that the man with the most
  88. 3:20information about Intel in the world
  89. 3:22looked at a 28% drop in a stock and he
  90. 3:25reached for his, you know, uh, cash
  91. 3:28drawer uh, rather than something else.
  92. 3:30Now, let me show you the second one.
  93. 3:33Keith Meister sits on the board of MGM
  94. 3:36Resorts and he runs Corex, which is the
  95. 3:39activist fund. And on the same Friday
  96. 3:42that Intel was falling apart, he bought
  97. 3:441.5 million shares of MGM, which is
  98. 3:48worth $52 million, right? Real dollars.
  99. 3:53You didn't get a discount. You didn't
  100. 3:54get a special deal. You just bought it
  101. 3:55at the same price that you could have
  102. 3:57bought it for yourself. But there are
  103. 3:58others. There's a little known stock
  104. 4:00called SiriusXM Holdings. And for some
  105. 4:04reason, Burkshshire Haway just bought it
  106. 4:08three times in the space of what is that
  107. 4:11four days. So Burkshshire owns more than
  108. 4:1410% of this company. So it actually has
  109. 4:15to file every time it adds which means
  110. 4:18you get to watch Buffett's averaging
  111. 4:20down in real time or in this case
  112. 4:22actually averaging up because that was
  113. 4:24one of the few things you can see on the
  114. 4:26stock chart that actually went up. There
  115. 4:28are others might have heard of Corsera
  116. 4:30sort of education training business not
  117. 4:32the greatest business in the world and
  118. 4:36Pale Capital which is an investment
  119. 4:38group that already again owns 10% of
  120. 4:40Corsera bought on three consecutive days
  121. 4:44in a row here 9.4 10.4 for 11.7 million.
  122. 4:47What looks like, you know, a
  123. 4:49particularly heavy dip. Doesn't mean
  124. 4:50it's going to go up, but interesting
  125. 4:52that they bought it. 31 million in
  126. 4:54online education company in a couple of
  127. 4:57days. And then there was another one
  128. 4:58which again most people will never ever
  129. 5:00hear of because it's just not offshore
  130. 5:03partners, right? You said, "Oh, I know
  131. 5:04all the stocks." You don't know not
  132. 5:06offshore partners. If you know not
  133. 5:08offshore partners, write not in the
  134. 5:10comments down below. Um it's an LP. So
  135. 5:13again, be very careful owning it. Big
  136. 5:14tax consequences to owning LPS. It is a
  137. 5:18shuttle tanker business, whatever that
  138. 5:20means. And the other director, he's
  139. 5:22called Trig Siglum, which I'm sure I'm
  140. 5:26pronouncing absolutely accurately. And
  141. 5:29this chap seems to love his own
  142. 5:31business. He bought $43.5
  143. 5:36million of his own business on the 3rd
  144. 5:40of November. eclipsing his June buy of
  145. 5:4425 million. So why am I telling you
  146. 5:46this? Why all does all of this matter?
  147. 5:47Well, I pay attention to buying and I
  148. 5:51basically ignore the seller. An insider
  149. 5:53has to report any trade in their own
  150. 5:55company shares to the SN SEC within two
  151. 5:57business days on a document called the
  152. 5:59form four. We read them all. We put it
  153. 6:01on live for you every single day. So
  154. 6:03sales fill most of those forms.
  155. 6:06Executives get paid in what? They get
  156. 6:08paid in stock, right? So let me pull one
  157. 6:11up for you where come people insiders
  158. 6:13are always selling say Palanteer. So we
  159. 6:15obvious have two two charts here. We
  160. 6:17have the the politicians charts and we
  161. 6:18have the insiders charts and you can see
  162. 6:21here sell sell sell. If I click on show
  163. 6:25all it's basically all cells right? All
  164. 6:27sales. And I completely ignore them.
  165. 6:30Why? Because these guys get paid in
  166. 6:33stock and they sell it. Why? because
  167. 6:36they got to pay a tax bill or they're
  168. 6:38getting divorced for the 19th time. As I
  169. 6:40said, you know, the third mistress is
  170. 6:41particularly expensive or maybe they
  171. 6:44really needed a bigger boat because it
  172. 6:45was getting embarrassing that those are
  173. 6:47only 200 foot long or you know, all
  174. 6:49sorts of stuff. Or maybe their adviser
  175. 6:51told them to diversify. Um remember
  176. 6:54Buffett told uh Bill Gates to diversify
  177. 6:57many decades ago. If you hadn't, you'd
  178. 6:59be the richest man on the planet, which
  179. 7:01tells you another story. But essentially
  180. 7:03a sell tells you very little about what
  181. 7:05they think of their own company. But a
  182. 7:08purchase is very different because when
  183. 7:12I look at insider buying and we have a
  184. 7:14page on this all the cluster buys all
  185. 7:16the biggest single buys and also the
  186. 7:19flips. So people who previously sold
  187. 7:22their own stock and has started to buy
  188. 7:24it which again is kind of a curious
  189. 7:27signal. So when an officer or a director
  190. 7:30takes out money off their own bank
  191. 7:32account or you know their mistresses and
  192. 7:34puts it into the shares that they could
  193. 7:37have got for free as part of their pay
  194. 7:38package, there is usually only one
  195. 7:41plausible reason. They think it's
  196. 7:43undervalued doesn't mean it is but they
  197. 7:46think it. Now I mention cluster buys
  198. 7:50because big single buys are definitely
  199. 7:53interesting, right? CEO spending 10
  200. 7:55million of his own money. Kind of
  201. 7:56interesting. But clusters are even
  202. 7:58better. The academic work on insider
  203. 8:00training goes back decades and it keeps
  204. 8:02finding the same thing. One insider
  205. 8:04buying is a signal. Three or more buying
  206. 8:07within a few weeks of each other. It is
  207. 8:09a much stronger signal. It isn't a
  208. 8:11promise of returns, but it's a stronger
  209. 8:12signal because each of them has looked
  210. 8:15at the same internal numbers and it's
  211. 8:16come to the same conclusion all their
  212. 8:18own. Unless they have a really, you
  213. 8:20know, bully of a CEO who makes them buy
  214. 8:22it. Like let's just say that that
  215. 8:23doesn't happen so often. So the rent to
  216. 8:26buy business I mentioned at the top of
  217. 8:28the video called Upbound Group on Monday
  218. 8:31the 2nd and Tuesday the 3rd of November.
  219. 8:34Let me show it to you.
  220. 8:37Here it is. The chief executive Fari
  221. 8:40Karan put $100,000 of his own money into
  222. 8:43it and then their chief growth officer
  223. 8:46put a 99k into it. didn't want to outdo
  224. 8:49the the the CEO obviously. Uh a day
  225. 8:51before Molly Langenstein, another
  226. 8:54director, put 50K into it. Uh and also
  227. 8:57here Jeffrey Brown put 400K into it. Uh
  228. 9:00the chief technology officer Balaji
  229. 9:02Kumar put 50K into it. The same day
  230. 9:05Glenn Marino put 393,000. You get the
  231. 9:08idea, right? All insiders buying
  232. 9:10essentially at the same time. Are there
  233. 9:11more? Are there more? Haleem Kuri, who
  234. 9:14was the chief financial officer. He put
  235. 9:16251K in in there and and so on. Now, the
  236. 9:18really smart one was this chap here. He
  237. 9:21was called uh Jeffrey Brown. Just sounds
  238. 9:24like a comic character if you if you ask
  239. 9:26me. Um he bought at $17.
  240. 9:30It's now trading at 2425. Again, not a
  241. 9:33promise of returns, but US did quite
  242. 9:35well. So, seven people put in a million
  243. 9:38and a half dollars more or less in the
  244. 9:40space of about two days. And there are
  245. 9:42many more examples like this. There is a
  246. 9:44matador resources company and Matador
  247. 9:47resources company. If you look at the
  248. 9:49insiders, you have four executives
  249. 9:53buying on the same day, November 5th.
  250. 9:55You have the EVP, you have the L
  251. 9:58president, you have the SVP, and and
  252. 10:01then the EVP and CFO. Um, you know,
  253. 10:04acronym people. um or putting in what
  254. 10:08was that about $230,000
  255. 10:10or something on one day, right? On a
  256. 10:13particularly heavy dip doesn't mean it's
  257. 10:16going to go up, but it's kind of
  258. 10:17interesting, isn't it? If it's
  259. 10:18interesting, let me know down below and
  260. 10:20see follow along. Get yourself the the
  261. 10:22Winston app uh free tra zero risk. If
  262. 10:25you forget to cancel it on day 29, just
  263. 10:28message us and say, "I forgot to cancel
  264. 10:29it. It's ghastly." And we'll cancel it
  265. 10:31for you and you make sure you won't get
  266. 10:32build. Um, so these are clusters and and
  267. 10:36there there are more and I'm not going
  268. 10:37to walk you through all of them. Um,
  269. 10:39Galaxy Digital is another one that um I
  270. 10:43I flagged early on. Maybe you saw it on
  271. 10:45the screen here. CEO puts in 9.9
  272. 10:48million. Third insider buy in the last
  273. 10:5090 days. Crypto business. And you know,
  274. 10:53you would have would have thought they
  275. 10:54had a pretty tough time. Where did I go?
  276. 10:56Um,
  277. 10:58here we go. Galaxy Digital. pretty
  278. 11:01crummy business on the face of it. But
  279. 11:04CEO is definitely buying here. Was he
  280. 11:06was he also buying at this dip here?
  281. 11:08Let's see. No, that was another chop. Um
  282. 11:12so I'm not saying you know they always
  283. 11:13get it right. Now there's one more story
  284. 11:15to this which I think if you're snoopy
  285. 11:17enough, nosy enough like me, um which is
  286. 11:20what people tendly asking about is what
  287. 11:21about members of Congress? Well, yes,
  288. 11:23they also have to report their trades.
  289. 11:24There's a law called the stock act and
  290. 11:27what they reported in the last 10 days
  291. 11:29is well you can see actually all the
  292. 11:32trades here of the Senate there's 75
  293. 11:33senators who trade some a lot I mean
  294. 11:36this chap here uh Greg 1300 times um
  295. 11:41there's another one here David Purdue uh
  296. 11:442,000 trades good god uh he must be very
  297. 11:48very busy running the country um you can
  298. 11:51look up that all up yourself you can
  299. 11:53again you can set alerts for these
  300. 11:55people. So you can just you can just
  301. 11:57follow them. House of Representatives,
  302. 11:58same story. So let me show you one
  303. 12:00example here. Maria Ela Salazar, who is
  304. 12:04a Republican, not that it particularly
  305. 12:07matters. Um 17 people, you follow her,
  306. 12:09very very very you know particularly not
  307. 12:11not very popular. Um congresswoman for
  308. 12:15Florida apparently. What did she buy?
  309. 12:16She bought Nvidia and Proctor and
  310. 12:19Gamble. just again doesn't mean very
  311. 12:21much, but you can look up these guys and
  312. 12:24you can see exactly what they're buying.
  313. 12:25And some of you might be more interested
  314. 12:27maybe in what Elpresented buys, for
  315. 12:28example. Um, and you can see his major
  316. 12:31buyers. He's he's poured back into the
  317. 12:33the the big tech stocks, which he
  318. 12:35previously sold. He previously sold
  319. 12:37Meta. So, you can see exactly that. You
  320. 12:38can see what he was selling. Again, just
  321. 12:40because these guys buy it doesn't mean
  322. 12:41they're right. It doesn't mean it's the
  323. 12:44be all end all. But you can follow it.
  324. 12:46You can literally just turn on here
  325. 12:48follow and then turn on alerts on that
  326. 12:50and that way you will get the
  327. 12:51notifications. You can do that on every
  328. 12:53politician on every insider every CEO.
  329. 12:56You can do that on on every stock. So if
  330. 12:58you want to see say Nancy Pelosi just
  331. 13:00type Nancy in the top there says
  332. 13:02politician and again alerts are off for
  333. 13:04me. I didn't follow them. You could turn
  334. 13:06them on if you wish and you can see
  335. 13:08exactly what she is selling. And she
  336. 13:10just bought some Bloom Energy Curious
  337. 13:12Intel. Interesting. um July 24th is the
  338. 13:15last filing there. So, it's been a while
  339. 13:17and she she tends to do a lot with
  340. 13:18options which makes the whole thing a
  341. 13:20little bit more complicated to follow
  342. 13:21along. But it is amazing the data that
  343. 13:24is available to us if you ask me. And
  344. 13:27again, each piece of data is a part of
  345. 13:29the puzzle. I never buy something
  346. 13:30because somebody else just bought it.
  347. 13:31That's the worst reason to buy something
  348. 13:33because when it goes against you, you
  349. 13:36are like, well, what do I do now? I
  350. 13:38can't ring up Nancy Pelosi or her, you
  351. 13:41know, husband because apparently it is
  352. 13:42it is the husband who does all the
  353. 13:44trading and they never talk to each
  354. 13:45other. So everything I've just showed
  355. 13:47you lives in the Winston.
  356. 13:49Um I I always particularly curious
  357. 13:52myself in in insiders flipping. So
  358. 13:54people who used to sell a lot and then
  359. 13:56suddenly start buying a lot. I always
  360. 13:58think that's kind of interesting.
  361. 13:59Completely ignore the sellers. It's just
  362. 14:00basically noise. Um, and as I say, it
  363. 14:03isn't a guarantee of any kind of, you
  364. 14:06know, return, but it is certainly a
  365. 14:08piece of data that I like to be aware
  366. 14:10of. Um, look at some of the biggest
  367. 14:12signal buys in the last 90 days and and
  368. 14:15particularly, and that's why we put it
  369. 14:16on the on the homepage, which is
  370. 14:18basically your personal personal um,
  371. 14:20newspaper, like whatever stocks you put
  372. 14:21on there, it it'll just write about your
  373. 14:23stocks and and and see what the really
  374. 14:26big ones are. you know, insiders buying
  375. 14:29their own stocks in very very large
  376. 14:31amounts, which I think is definitely a
  377. 14:34useful piece of data that I wouldn't
  378. 14:35want to miss. So, you don't have to miss
  379. 14:36it either. Click on the free link down
  380. 14:38below. And again, it's a risk-free
  381. 14:40proposition. Don't like it if you just
  382. 14:41cancel it. Um, you can also let us know.
  383. 14:43There's a feedback button in here and
  384. 14:45you can tell us what we can do better
  385. 14:46and we will do it better. We improved
  386. 14:48this every single day. I work on this
  387. 14:49every single day. The team works on it
  388. 14:50every single day. Uh, it's something
  389. 14:52that I build selfishly for myself. Of
  390. 14:54course, Winston did. Um and and then I
  391. 14:57make it available to many of you because
  392. 14:59I think there is value in good
  393. 15:02information. It's not about all
  394. 15:04information because there's too much
  395. 15:06information out there generally. But
  396. 15:08having it narrowed and filtered down to
  397. 15:10say if you have a big position in Intel,
  398. 15:12wouldn't you want to know that the CEO
  399. 15:13just bought it? Right? So that's kind of
  400. 15:15where I I I start with it. It's like
  401. 15:18just look at the stuff, follow the stuff
  402. 15:20that you own and and that way you are
  403. 15:24better informed and therefore you can
  404. 15:25make better decisions. So free link down
  405. 15:28below 30-day free trial u and the next
  406. 15:31time one of your stocks has a board
  407. 15:34member buying or selling their stock uh
  408. 15:36has a has a big transaction or
  409. 15:38politician buying or something like
  410. 15:40that, you will actually know. Um, and if
  411. 15:42you got some value out of it, share the
  412. 15:44video with somebody else who might
  413. 15:45benefit from it, too. I wish you all the
  414. 15:47best.
  415. 15:47>> Right now, I think we're going through
  416. 15:49some sort of weird phase transition. And
  417. 15:52normally when you get bad economic news
  418. 15:55or you get bad jobs data that people are
  419. 15:57going to fly to safety into the bond
