7. 0:30created the universe and God has
8. 0:32revealed scriptures and God has sent
9. 0:34prophets and yes even on Jesus we agree
10. 0:38on a number of things
11. 0:41interestingly the one of the issues we
12. 0:44disagree on is according to actual
13. 0:47historians one of the best established
14. 0:49facts of ancient history and that's the
15. 0:51crucifixion of Jesus um actual Scholars
16. 0:55even if they're atheist or agnostic
17. 0:56Scholars Jewish Scholars they grant that
18. 0:59Jes Jesus death by crucifixion is an
19. 1:02established fact of history and so it's
20. 1:05interesting that here's an area where
21. 1:08Islam teaches one thing Christianity
22. 1:10teaches something else and the evidence
23. 1:12is massively in favor of one view over
24. 1:15the other but for everyone who's not
25. 1:17familiar with this issue what do we
26. 1:20actually what do we find in the Quran
27. 1:22the Quran denies Jesus crucifixion at
28. 1:26least in one
29. 1:27verse for uh it's the famous One
30. 1:33for7 the ver the the chapter of the
31. 1:37woman and it says and for their saying
32. 1:41means the Jews and In this passage it's
33. 1:44a this passages criticizing various uh
34. 1:48things that that Jews are saying did and
35. 1:50one of them is they're saying indeed we
36. 1:54have killed the Messiah and actually the
37. 1:56Jews Jews never said we killed the
38. 1:59Messiah boast about killing the Messiah
39. 2:01yeah but anyway we just like you read it
40. 2:05if if you're bragging about killing him
41. 2:06you obviously don't believe he's the
42. 2:07Messiah you know it it contradicts
43. 2:10itself but we just let it go g indeed we
44. 2:15have killed the Messiah Jesus the son of
45. 2:18Mary the messenger of Allah look he's
46. 2:20also messenger of Allah the Jews are are
47. 2:23bragging that they killed the Messiah

59. 3:02certain they didn't kill him yes they
60. 3:04didn't crucify him yes it was made to
61. 3:07appear to them that they did kill him

65. 3:18what happened to me actually this this

67. 3:25point in my life towards

77. 3:53then there are versions of course yeah
78. 3:56matter of fact almost every Muslim
79. 3:57commentary I open up gives a different
80. 4:00gives different details they keep the
81. 4:01same they usually keep the same general
82. 4:03principle but they'll give different
83. 4:05names and different situations and so on
84. 4:07one of them as Jesus said who is going
85. 4:09to volunteer take myage he he he takes

102. 4:59was screaming I'm Not Jesus and nobody
103. 5:02believed him because he looked like him
104. 5:04so these are the stories there was
105. 5:06another one where uh Allah made everyone
106. 5:08look like Jesus everyone they have many
107. 5:10jesuses so they couldn't pick one they
108. 5:12just picked a random guy who was not
109. 5:14Jesus and they crucified him and when I
110. 5:17was reading this I was like can we agree
111. 5:20on one at least so I can respond to
112. 5:23those Christians we have no one
113. 5:27narrative and by the way those
114. 5:30commentaries where did they get the name
115. 5:32of
116. 5:34Judas of Peter of Roman soldiers they
117. 5:38got them from the gospel the same book
118. 5:40they are trying to
119. 5:42contradict so you are taking all the
120. 5:45details from the book you
121. 5:48think is corrupt and talking about Jesus
122. 5:51crucifixion it doesn't add up and so uh
123. 5:55you you you have these different
124. 5:56commentaries and they take these
125. 5:58different approaches and to to to be
126. 6:00fair in case there are any ismeli
127. 6:01Muslims uh watching isi Muslims actually
128. 6:05interpret the entire passage differently
129. 6:07to so that it agrees that Jesus was
130. 6:09crucified but the the by far the
131. 6:11dominant position in Islam has always
132. 6:13been it's interesting because some of
133. 6:15them uh are the are the the volunteer
134. 6:18versions and some are the punishment
135. 6:20versions so some of them Jesus looks for
136. 6:21a volunteer I don't want to be crucified
137. 6:23so will one of you take my place and
138. 6:25Allah will give you a reward he became
139. 6:27coward at the end and somebody was Brave
140. 6:29and I I thought that's Muhammad that's
141. 6:31not Jesus because that's what Muhammad
142. 6:33did under the Battle of when he was
143. 6:35about to be killed seven of of his
144. 6:39companions he asked who is going to give
145. 6:42himself and I'll give him Grant him
146. 6:44Paradise seven of them were
147. 6:47killed so actually Muhammad sacrificed
148. 6:50people for him Jesus sacrificed himself
149. 6:53for people that's a different story and
150. 6:55so that seems to be why Muslims wouldn't
151. 6:57have a problem with Jesus uh being a
152. 6:59coward at the end and change you know
153. 7:01having someone be crucified in his place
154. 7:04but then you have the punishment
155. 7:05versions where some you know Allah's
156. 7:08punishing someone like Judas shame on
157. 7:09Judas for being a traitor something like
158. 7:12that I'm I'm bringing that one up
159. 7:13because that seems to be the dominant
160. 7:15position that I hear from Muslims at
161. 7:17least in the west today yeah it's and
162. 7:19they view it as that's more just in
163. 7:22Christianity the innocent Jesus is
164. 7:23crucified but in Islam the guilty Judas
165. 7:27is punished and so Allah Allah
166. 7:30got Justice for here is the problem that
167. 7:32was created in my mind when I was
168. 7:35comparing these
169. 7:37stories first of all then the gospels
170. 7:40were right they were not lying because
171. 7:44the ones who saw Jesus they went by the
172. 7:48appearance they wrote what they saw so
173. 7:52why blame them for claiming that Jesus
174. 7:56was crucified because they had no way to
175. 7:59know know what happened behind the
176. 8:01scenes they saw Jesus clearly on the
177. 8:05cross they wrote it down so the question
178. 8:09the most important question here who
179. 8:11created Christianity in this
180. 8:14case is Allah himself mhm who created
181. 8:19this confusion Allah himself and then we
182. 8:22come as Muslims when we blame them why
183. 8:25he waited six centuries to send a
184. 8:28messenger to tell them by the way mhm it
185. 8:32was a hidden camera I tricked you I
186. 8:34tricked you oh God big prank for six
187. 8:38centuries we believe Jesus was crucified
188. 8:41then at the end you send a messenger who
189. 8:44showed the whole he'll exposed the whole
190. 8:47trick you could have done it right away
191. 8:50the first day and notice this this
192. 8:52completely derails everything that Jesus
193. 8:54did according to Islam so according to
194. 8:56Islam Jesus is going around uh preaching
195. 8:59saying hey everyone just believe in
196. 9:00Allah and submit to Allah and that's
197. 9:03what he's telling his followers and his
198. 9:04followers become devout Muslims and then
199. 9:07Allah tricks people into believing that
200. 9:09Jesus is crucified and Christians then
201. 9:11run around saying ah Jesus died on the
202. 9:13cross for our sins and so on and so
203. 9:15where did they get that idea Muslims
204. 9:16like to blame they'll say ah you know
205. 9:18the Council of NAA corrupted
206. 9:19Christianity or the Apostle Paul
207. 9:21corrupted Christianity you're pointing
208. 9:22out it's Allah who corrupted
209. 9:24Christianity and and derailed the entire
210. 9:26message if we have anybody to blame for
211. 9:30the spread of Christianity it was Allah
212. 9:33himself if he did indeed change the
213. 9:36picture of whoever was the guy for Jesus
214. 9:41and another thing when we dig we know
215. 9:44that heresies came in the second century
216. 9:48that said Jesus was not crucified but in
217. 9:50a sense that's not mentioned here that
218. 9:54the uh Jesus was not Material was not
219. 9:57made of matter they believed he was only
220. 10:00Divine and not and didn't have a human
221. 10:02nature he he he had like some kind of um
222. 10:07hologram body and then they CR When They
223. 10:10Crucified him they they are not actually
224. 10:12crucified him and that's why it it came
225. 10:15from the Greek word do or doio which
226. 10:18became theism the the the it appeared to
227. 10:22them that they crucified Jesus but in
228. 10:25fact he's not really a matter to be CR

230. 10:30and if if Muslims took it from there
231. 10:32they have another problem they are
232. 10:34following heresies yeah so they they
233. 10:37adopted their view of what happened to
234. 10:40Jesus from people who it's as you

240. 10:55he doesn't have a body therefore God
241. 10:57must if God had crucified it must have
242. 11:00been someone else who's made to look
243. 11:01like him and then this ends up in the
244. 11:03Quran where it makes it makes absolutely
245. 11:05no sense yeah so the crucifixion of
246. 11:08Jesus Christ made me change my opinion
247. 11:11about Christianity and I was like if we
248. 11:13are in front of a judge and I give him
249. 11:16all these versions I don't know who was
250. 11:19Muslims cannot tell us who was crucified
251. 11:22in the place of Jesus when that happened
252. 11:26the change the whole thing they cannot
253. 11:29tell us anything about details what
254. 11:31happened exactly where was Jesus after
255. 11:34that where did he go did he meet other
256. 11:37disciples did he tell them it wasn't me
257. 11:39we have no details it's just a single
258. 11:42verse and no details a single verse no
259. 11:45details all their interpretations of the
260. 11:47verse uh completely contradict each
261. 11:50other and the great irony is that that
262. 11:52verse says that people who believe that
263. 11:54Jesus is crucified are the ones in doubt
264. 11:56yeah and the certainty is on the side of
265. 11:58the people who say was it yeah uh all
266. 12:00right so I I yeah guys this is a this is
267. 12:03a pretty big Islam Islamic problem here
268. 12:05for the Quran because we know
269. 12:08historically Jesus died by crucifixion
270. 12:10and the mus the most popular Muslim
271. 12:12response is no no no Allah tricked
272. 12:15people into believing that which would
273. 12:17mean that
274. 12:18Allah started Christianity by accident
275. 12:22or deliberately but he's the one who
276. 12:24corrupted it and I would just say as far
277. 12:25as the the standard Islamic view of
278. 12:29today the most common one I hear that it
279. 12:30was Judas think about the complete
280. 12:33gospel reversal there yeah that
281. 12:35according to the Bible the innocent
282. 12:38Jesus died on behalf of guilty Sinners
283. 12:42and then Islam completely flips it so
284. 12:45that the guilty Judas dies on behalf of
285. 12:48the innocent Jesus if anything would
286. 12:52qualify as an antichrist view I'd say
