7. 0:13noise outside but it's
8. 0:14just people walking by pretty much and
9. 0:18she just recently graduated from mercer

11. 0:21and i were we were both jd students um
12. 0:24we graduated back in may
13. 0:27what kind of person was she i mean how
14. 0:29did you what did you see i mean she's as
15. 0:31nice as can be
16. 0:32i mean very personable very much people
17. 0:34person
18. 0:35do you know anybody that any enemies you
19. 0:36might have had somebody that might want
20. 0:38to hurt her
21. 0:39no i'm we're we all know where she is i
22. 0:42mean the only thing we can think is that
23. 0:45maybe she went out running and someone
24. 0:46snatched her
25. 0:48because i'm we went out we went over one
26. 0:51of her friends had a key
27. 0:52we went inside and tried to see if there
28. 0:54was anything
29. 0:55amiss but i mean she had a door jamb
30. 0:58that was
31. 0:59sitting right by it there was no sign
32. 1:02that anyone broke in
33. 1:04i mean the door was locked when everyone
34. 1:06got here
35. 1:07and we just don't know where she is what
36. 1:10about um in the like
37. 1:11the parking lot area i know they've been
38. 1:13doing a lot of i think that's where they
39. 1:14had recovered
40. 1:15the body or whatever they recovered from
41. 1:17there
42. 1:18had you heard it had you seen anything
43. 1:20there
44. 1:23did you see anything there i mean we
45. 1:25don't know if this is the same person
46. 1:27you know what i mean like they took out
47. 1:28a body there earlier we don't know the
48. 1:30same person around
49. 1:31so that's how we're trying to ask people
50. 1:32if they know who lived there

64. 2:16captain provides it and barbary provides

66. 2:18i signed up with barbary and i've been
67. 2:20doing the lectures that they have in the
68. 2:22mornings
69. 2:23she was doing the kaplan online so
70. 2:26i hardly ever saw her i mean
71. 2:29i would see her like go out running but
72. 2:32what time was you go out running i
73. 2:38i saw like midday a couple weeks ago
74. 2:41i mean that was the last time i saw her
75. 2:43was coming back from
76. 2:45the bar prep on the main campus because
77. 2:48we got moved over there for a week or
78. 2:50two
79. 2:50but she normally would run and that was
80. 2:52yeah right
81. 2:54she she ran all the time i mean she she
82. 2:56had a group that she would go running
83. 2:58with
84. 2:59i i i don't know anyone that would want
85. 3:03to hurt her
86. 3:04she was as nice person as
87. 3:07there is
88. 3:15was she moving soon did you know
89. 3:16anything about her yeah yeah she she was
90. 3:18going to be
91. 3:19moving out today
92. 3:22she was supposed to move out today
93. 3:24because someone else was going to be
94. 3:26moving into her apartment

97. 3:35from is she prevailing maryland
98. 3:37yeah she's from up in america so we can

104. 3:49and all her family was there as far as i

118. 4:31that's how i found out that she was
119. 4:33missing we
120. 4:35a bunch of her friends came over
121. 4:38yesterday night
122. 4:40around midnight and they they couldn't
123. 4:43they hadn't seen her since saturday so
124. 4:45they were trying to find out where she
125. 4:47was
126. 4:47they were knocking on neighbors doors
127. 4:49and stuff
128. 4:50they went in they had a key to her
129. 4:52apartment and they checked around
130. 4:55didn't see anything out of place and it
131. 4:57was locked when
132. 4:58everyone got there that was midnight
133. 5:00yeah around midnight and then we
134. 5:02went we went over to law school see if
135. 5:04maybe she was over in
136. 5:06the library studying or something and we
137. 5:09looked up in the
138. 5:10study rooms on the third floor and there
139. 5:11was no one there
140. 5:14and we came back we looked around and
141. 5:17just tried to find any anything to
142. 5:19figure out where she was
143. 5:21doesn't have any family in georgia i
144. 5:24don't know
145. 5:25as far as i know every all of her family
146. 5:28is from in maryland
147. 5:29have you met her family before there was
148. 5:32one time that i met them they came down
149. 5:35first year she she had a little dog a
150. 5:38little brown dog
151. 5:39that she would exercise out in front of
152. 5:43the law school
153. 5:44and it got hit as she was coming across
154. 5:47the road
155. 5:48i i heard the
156. 5:51car hit it and ran out and she was there
157. 5:54crying and we
158. 5:56thankfully there was someone who came
159. 5:57along who knew a vet
160. 5:59or something and they helped that and
161. 6:01the her family came down
162. 6:04i think a couple weeks after that or
163. 6:06something i met them
164. 6:07just briefly

166. 6:13we've been trying to figure out she has
167. 6:15a boyfriend up in atlanta
168. 6:17but someone called her called him
169. 6:21and he hadn't heard from her
170. 6:25nope no one could figure out where she
171. 6:27was
172. 6:30saturday yeah she went over to a couple
173. 6:34friends house gary mueller and joe
174. 6:36cairns they live over on walnut
175. 6:38and i mean they said that she was over
176. 6:42there in the morning
177. 6:44and then that was the last time that
178. 6:46anyone
179. 6:48we've been able to find out from had
180. 6:50seen her she hadn't mentioned what she
181. 6:52was going to do that day or anything
182. 6:55we joe he got onto her computer last
183. 6:58night to see
184. 6:59if she said anything she'd sent an email
185. 7:01out to some people
186. 7:03that afternoon talking about like going
187. 7:05out to eat or something
188. 7:09and the last thing that anyone there was
189. 7:12an email that she sent out
190. 7:13after 10 that night where she
191. 7:17she sent to i think it was someone in
192. 7:20atlanta a friend of hers in atlanta
193. 7:22and he she said that
194. 7:26she she was afraid in her apartment that
195. 7:28she thought someone had tried to break
196. 7:29in
197. 7:30on thursday night and she
198. 7:33she was afraid to stay in there but
199. 7:38where did you hear where did you hear
200. 7:39that from from joe
201. 7:41he pulled it up and we read it off the
202. 7:43screen
203. 7:45she had said that to a friend in atlanta
204. 7:46yeah i can't remember his name but you
205. 7:49hadn't heard anything on thursday night
206. 7:51she never came to you to tell you
207. 7:52anything no i mean
208. 7:57if she had i could have done something i
209. 8:00i could have lent her a handgun
210. 8:01i've got a little handgun that i have
211. 8:03for defense
212. 8:04and yeah i mean something
213. 8:08yeah if she was afraid in her apartment
214. 8:10then i mean
215. 8:12get her out of there
216. 8:15that's what she said in the email she
217. 8:16thought that someone had tried to break
218. 8:18into
219. 8:18her apartment she said macon hoodlums
220. 8:21tried to break into my apartment on
221. 8:23thursday night
222. 8:25is that her car parked there the chevy
223. 8:27no
224. 8:28no um i think that's the detective's car
225. 8:32detective powder
226. 8:34no it was here earlier and they they
227. 8:36towed it and it
228. 8:37been there for days and then they towed
229. 8:40it to i guess
230. 8:41look through see if there was yeah
231. 8:45how did you find out that something yeah
232. 8:49like when you walked up a little while
233. 8:51ago no i mean
234. 8:53we the police were called last night and
235. 8:56they came
236. 8:57and they looked around they didn't see
237. 8:59anything i mean
238. 9:00they went in we looked around the place
239. 9:04no sign of a struggle no sign that
240. 9:05anyone had broken in
241. 9:07just nothing just she was gone and all
242. 9:10of her stuff was there
243. 9:11her id was there her wallet was there
244. 9:14but
245. 9:14she was she was just gone
246. 9:20no i was here this morning and i
247. 9:23i couldn't hardly sleep i mean i
248. 9:27i was up until i mean early hours and
249. 9:30then i just
250. 9:32i got home and i just collapsed and then
251. 9:35this morning they knocked on my door
252. 9:37they were looking around trying to find
253. 9:39anything and a few a few of the other
254. 9:42friends
255. 9:45burpee burpee
256. 9:49and garen and ashley they were
257. 9:52here they were here last night and
258. 9:54they'd come back this morning
259. 9:56i just went out and talked with them and
260. 9:58they
261. 10:00then they moved us all over the side and
262. 10:02they bust us all
263. 10:04down to the department and kept us there
264. 10:07until
265. 10:07i got back just a little while ago
266. 10:12yeah they took statements trying to find
267. 10:14out if anyone had seen anything if
268. 10:16anyone heard anything when the last
269. 10:17time anyone's far for what
270. 10:21now they haven't confirmed at least not
271. 10:23with us
272. 10:24that it was um that they found
273. 10:27are you holding out any hope right now
274. 10:30right i i hope but
275. 10:36if they found it on on the property
276. 10:44somewhere
277. 10:48no no as far as any of us knew
278. 10:51they were still trying to just find her
279. 10:53i mean we
280. 10:55got an email this morning from some
281. 10:56people that live on the other side of
282. 10:58kroger on the other side of the river
283. 11:00that they
284. 11:00had seen her in the past running in that
285. 11:03area we
286. 11:04thought maybe someone had snatched her
287. 11:06over there or maybe she got hurt or
288. 11:10something
