32:47what's gonna be a life-changing morning
32:49and so I just I just want you to
32:52position your hearts to receive from
32:55Wendy Backlund this morning from all the
32:58reports that I've gotten back that I
33:00think every husband is jealous that they
33:03were not there at the Women's Conference
33:04you know for what was imparted and so
33:07we're trusting for a condensed download
33:10of what was presented in the last couple
33:12of days to us this morning I just want
33:15to remind you know can you um up my mic
33:18I just want to remind you that our Red
33:26Hill church tonight and so just over in
33:29Milton literally just a little bit up
33:31the road about five minutes up the road
33:33on Trafalgar and Britannia Wendy you'll
33:35be ministering there so if you're able
33:37to make it tonight as well just to get
33:40even more than please come and join us
33:42it's gonna be a wonderful intimate time
33:44there tonight and there's only one
33:50announcement and to make it really quick
33:53because I forgot to make it last week if
33:56you read the emails you see about the
33:58bread and honey festival we have a
34:01hundred and seventy six volunteer spots
34:03over Saturday and Sunday that we need to
34:06fill so it's all hands on deck
34:09opportunity for us to love streets Ville
34:11where we're at the bread and honey
34:13festival our primary role there is to
34:16help supervise all the kids on the
34:19inflatables which are like bouncy
34:21castles things along those lines at what
34:24the bread and honey festival is is a
34:25community carnival that happens our
34:27community festival it happens once a
34:29year here in streets Ville and they've
34:32been relying on on us at lifehouse for
34:34the last two years this will be the
34:35third year of us doing this and so it's
34:38the first weekend in September it's the
34:41Saturday and Sunday oh sorry first
34:43weekend in June first weekend in June
34:45and repeat that again first weekend in
34:48June you know so if you can book that
34:51off your calendars and if you can sign
34:53up for
34:53one or even better two spots for to help
34:57us serve the community that weekend then
35:00it's just it's a practical way for us to
35:02bring the presence of God in the midst
35:04of this festival
35:05a practical way for us to be you know
35:08the the kingdom of God to come in and us
35:11to love on these people as their kids
35:14are playing on the bouncy castles and us
35:17just be able to quietly pray over each
35:19child that goes on them be able to
35:21connect with families that are there for
35:23the festival our goal isn't to grow the
35:26church with this you know if people come
35:28to church as a result of it wonderful
35:30but our goal is to grow the kingdom our
35:32goal is to bless the community right
35:35with this and so this this is just this
35:38is an incredible privilege churches have
35:40not really been allowed to be involved
35:41for a number of years and even our
35:44presence there is its controversial with
35:47some people and yet we have incredible
35:50favour to be there and so please sign up
35:56sign up via the email that we sent out
35:59you can sign up I don't know next week
36:02I'm not sure if you can sign up at the
36:03back this week I know for sure next week
36:05you can sign up on the back but don't

36:29week so there's a on April the 13th
36:33Saturday we have the men's breakfast how
36:37many of you attend men's breakfast every
36:39every month so we need more people yeah
36:45this is what he's saying right if you
36:48don't attend men's breakfast you should
36:50attend okay so it's a great time you
36:53know it's a great time to spend in God's
36:57presence you know focused on him and and
37:00and and building each other so it's it's
37:02a great time so so so this is you know
37:04very few churches have men's breakfast
37:07so
37:07make use of this and the second event
37:10that I won't remind off is the Welcome
37:12lunch so if you're new to life house we
37:16know that you know you have lot of
37:18questions and also we we need to know
37:20you better so so there's a welcome lunch
37:23on Sunday April the 14th at 12:30 so
37:28there's a there's a you know we have we
37:30have it in the in the staff room in the
37:32basement so so after church you know if
37:36you if you wait for an hour or so we
37:38will we can we can you know we can spend
37:40some time with you at the Welcome
37:41Blanche
37:41so for both these events it's important
37:44that you register okay because for men's
37:46breakfast we need to organize for the
37:49breakfast and for the Welcome blunts we
37:51need to organize for the PISA so if you
37:54if you are coming to these two events
37:56please register there's a there's a
37:58sign-up form at the back there's a
38:00there's a table at the back at the back
38:02so you have signup forms so you need to
38:04register for these events okay so now
38:10let's focus our attention to Jesus as we
38:12as we bring our offerings our gifts and
38:16offerings to honor a king to do you know
38:21to worship Him to bless him let's let's
38:24focus on Jesus so just as as we are just
38:29focusing on Jesus just let the baskets
38:32more on please only father we we thank
38:38you for for all that all the blessings o
38:41Lord we thank you for all that you've
38:43provided but the jobs that we have the
38:45businesses that we have Lord every
38:49little thing that we have for Lord is
38:51all provided by you and we thank you for
38:53that Lord and we trust you that you will
38:57provide for every need of our so Lord
39:00Heavenly Father because you are our
39:01Shepherd and we can trust in you lord
39:06you bless the gifts and offerings that
39:10your children have brought here a lot to
39:12honor you to bless you to worship you
39:15Lord let this these gifts and offerings
39:18be used for the glory and extension of
39:20your king
39:20Jesus name we pray amen wonderful well
39:28wonderful well I am going to invite
39:31Wendy to come on up and to minister so
39:34we can just give her a warm welcome
39:36I am I am gonna lead her up onto the
39:42stage so if we just want to come through
39:45here I won't make her climb up the
39:49speaker
40:00wonderful so as I hand the mic over to
40:07Wendy with Stephen Wendy have have been
40:09friends of ours and Friends of lifehouse
40:12for many years they've ministered here
40:14together they've ministered her
40:15separately but they have just made an
40:18incredible foundation into the life of
40:20the church when Steve was here it was
40:23her steve her husband was here a few
40:25months ago just back in November and so
40:28it's a real privilege to have Wendy here
40:30ministering with us this weekend so
40:32thank you so much for being here yeah
40:36it's a privilege I just feel god doing
40:39so much in your church and in this body
40:43whatever you're doing keep it up keep
40:47building that fire it was so much fun
40:50thanks ladies who were at the conference
40:52just for your hunger and receptivity so
40:59I was just thinking about for some
41:02reason it popped into my head a
41:03testimony we have some friends who are
41:06pastors in Australia and they feel
41:08called to New Agers and so they somehow
41:15got a booth at all the New Age festivals
41:19which there's a lot of in Australia and
41:23they just you know blessed people prayed
41:27for them prophesied over them and pretty
41:31soon they were actually invited to come
41:33up on stage and even pray and prophesy
41:36over people and most of the advisory
41:41team were like witches and warlocks and
41:44this one warlock was very upset that
41:47these pastors because he's like they
41:49have a hidden agenda no kidding and so
41:55he had been on this advisory board for
41:58like 20 years and he gave them an
42:02ultimatum you either get rid of this
42:04pastor out of our New Age festival or I
42:07will stop coming and they said goodbye
42:13yeah so from the stage they would
42:17actually have fire tunnels and people
42:20would get healed they'd bring the the
42:23blood of Jesus in I mean the power you
42:28know sometimes we're so afraid of what
42:30other people are carrying that we forget
42:32what we're carrying we don't have to be
42:36afraid of their darkness you know when
42:39you turn on a light switch darkness
42:42doesn't fight with you
42:46it just goes we need to realize that's
42:52what we carry we need to enlarge the
42:56vision of what God is actually placed
42:58within us because it is no small thing
43:02you know we're a whole new creation the
43:06problem is nobody knows what they are
43:10they just think it's spiritual to say
43:12I'm a new creation isn't it kind of
43:15important to know what you are then if
43:18you're not human what are you and how do
43:24we come before the Father you know some
43:27of the things we received from the
43:29Father are received as sons and
43:31daughters but some of them are received
43:33as a warrior and during worship this
43:37isn't part of my message by the way this
43:38is just stuff that was running through
43:40my mind during worship a lot of times we
43:45are so one-dimensional in how we define
43:48ourselves that we only come to God one
43:51way for instance when the holy laughter
43:55broke out in Toronto and then you know
43:58people started saying well that was just
43:59a sovereign move of God and you know but
44:02then other people were like you know
44:04that's that's not God about at all and I
44:08started thinking the reason people were
44:11rejecting the laughter is because in
44:14their experience the only way they came
44:17before God was in tears because that we
44:22like to reenact our last great encounter
44:24with God
44:26that's just our tendency and if your
44:29last great encounter with God was in
44:32repentance and tears and sorrow then
44:34that's how you relate to God so you
44:38don't feel like you met God unless you
44:40cried and then God brought in the
44:44laughter now he's saying in my presence
44:48is fullness of joy if you haven't had
44:53joy in his presence you have an
44:55incomplete God encounter but we also
44:59have to realize that we tend to keep
45:01coming to him in the same way even
45:03though we're not that one-dimensional
45:06sometimes I come to the Father as a
45:09daughter in need I'm the supplicant
45:12other times I come to the father as a
45:14warrior ready for my marching orders in
45:17knowing who I am and you know we have to
45:20relate to him on so many different
45:23levels than we're currently relating to
45:25him in tears joy strategies receiving
45:34there's just so much more so uh I just
45:40challenge it because sometimes you know
45:43Jesus didn't come so we could die he
45:46came so we could live and the Christian
45:50life isn't about learning how to die
45:52which I tried for 15 years until God
45:55said Wendy how dead can you get stop it
45:59the scripture says you've been crucified
46:02past tense but it also says you've been
46:06raised with him so the Christian life
46:09isn't about learning to die it's about
46:11learning how to live a resurrected life
46:17but we have to actually realize that
46:20means or something different than we
46:23were but a lot of people have a struggle
46:26with that because they still feel the
46:29same as they did before they got saved
46:32and they're not seeing all of the proof
46:36of this new birth
46:39and I have a theory can I just throw out
46:41a theory you can fix this mess
46:43afterwards because I was thinking about
46:49this why it is that if we're this new
46:53creation why is there still sometimes
46:55this feeling of wanting to sin or
46:58wanting to you know say no to God and
47:01it's like it feels like there's two
47:04people living inside of me and he
47:07brought to my mind some haunted house
47:11movies I had seen before I was a
47:13Christian and he started to talk to me
47:17about why why is it in these movies that
47:21these houses are haunted by ghosts and I
47:25said well usually in the movie it's
47:27because this isn't theology this is
47:29Hollywood it's because somebody was
47:33dramatically killed and there was no
47:36resolution to the murder and so that
47:40person is haunting the house affecting
47:44the house causing it to do things
47:47against its nature and he said what has
47:51happened is that a lot of my children
47:55are born again but their old self who
47:58died has been given access to haunt
48:01their tent to cause it to do things that
48:06are no longer according to its own
48:09nature you know
48:15God asked me once Wendy do you have a
48:17problem calling a sinner a sinner when
48:20he does a righteous act and I'm like now
48:23if he's never accepted Jesus he's just a
48:25sinner doing a righteous act and he said
48:29well you can't have it both ways if a
48:31sinner cannot become righteous through a
48:33righteous act then a righteous person
48:35cannot become a sinner by sinning he's
48:40just a righteous person sinning it
48:43doesn't change their nature it's not
48:47okay to sin it's just not their nature
48:50to sin
48:52and we have to learn how to pull up our
48:55true nature and then God kind of really
48:59blew me away he said do you know what
49:01your problem is with this and I'm like
49:02what and he said well well let me give a
49:06little background because I actually
49:07kind of got irritated with God one day
49:10because I'm like really because Adam and
49:15Eve sinned the rest of us all have to
49:18pay the price
49:19does anybody else ever thought about
49:21that it's like really God does not seem
49:25fair and he said yeah but just as
49:30through the one man all became sinners
49:32through the one man Christ all became
49:34righteous and this is what blew me away
49:37he said Wendy your problem is is that
49:40you have more faith in Adams ability to
49:43make you a sinner than Jesus's ability
49:45to make you righteous why was it so much
49:52easier to believe that I'm a sinner just
49:56because of Adam but so much harder to
50:00believe I'm righteous because of Jesus
50:05when Jesus is the Son of God it's got to
50:09have more power and weight in our mind
50:11in our understanding of who we are as a
50:16new creation it's crazy
50:20how we just seem to have more faith for
50:23darkness than light we need to believe
50:31that the Word of God is so powerful that
50:34it actually can change us have you ever
50:39noticed how much faith farmers have in
50:42seeds have you ever taken a look at a
50:45seed I mean the stupid tiny thing
50:47doesn't look like it can produce nothing
50:51but somehow out of something this tiny a
50:55huge tree can be produced something
50:59little become something big and we have
51:04this faith that if
51:06seed is nourished in the correct way it
51:09will produce something bigger than it is
51:12did you know that the Word of God is a
51:15seed and it carries within itself the
51:20potential to produce something have you
51:26planted the Word of God in not only your
51:31brain in your heart but within your
51:34imagination I was telling the ladies
51:36this weekend that your imagination is
51:39the womb of faith because faith isn't
51:44blind its visionary if you haven't seen
51:50something different you don't have faith
51:52for it you have to see something
51:58different if you are going to experience
52:00something different the problem is we
52:04tend to only imagine things that have
52:06already happened how much time in your
52:11devotions are you imagining things yet
52:15to come because the more you imagine a
52:20future with God the more you will begin
52:24to experience life with him
52:27faith is visionary see something don't
52:33just say I want healing see healing
52:37picture what your life is like once
52:39you're healed
52:41the problem with long-term illness is
52:44it's been around so long we literally
52:46can't imagine a different life
52:50but we need to intentionally do that the
52:54word is so powerful I remember once back
52:59in the 90s when my husband and I were
53:01pastoring a church and I went through
53:03this season where I would put my kids to
53:07bed I'd go to the church late at night
53:09and just shut off the lights and close
53:12down the windows so nobody could hear me
53:14and I would just yell out the word
53:16freedom I just walk around the
53:19yelling freedom and that was before that
53:20was normal I didn't really even know
53:24what I was doing there was just this
53:26urging of a spirit and I knew that was
53:29our answer and didn't tell even my
53:33husband that I was doing this but about
53:34three months later we had a guest
53:36speaker come in and when he got up to
53:39speak the first words out of his mouth
53:40was Wow
53:42as soon as I walked into your sanctuary
53:45I heard the word freedom I remember God
53:51telling me I just wanted you to know
53:53that that word has not fallen to the
53:55ground until it performs what it was
53:57sent to do because the word is real it's
54:03in fact Jesus says my words are spirit
54:07and they are life they're not there the
54:12Bible isn't there just to give you a
54:14conte of you know a thought or a new
54:20idea it's actually powerful enough as a
54:23seed that if you plant it somewhere and
54:27protect it and let it germinate in the
54:31womb of your imagination it actually
54:33produces something if his word is spirit
54:40and life how often have you spoken to
54:43dead areas of your life with the word
54:47expecting it to actually change who you
54:50are instead of trying harder why don't
54:52you try the word we've underestimated
54:59the power of what it in in tells and
55:04even the fact that you know his his
55:08messengers his angels hearken to the
55:11Word of God to perform it what would
55:16happen if we kept the word in our heart
55:19in our mind and didn't just memorize it
55:22but used it one of the things I shared
55:28with the ladies was
55:30one time when I was reading in numbers
55:32about the children of Israel going into
55:35the Promised Land and God told them once
55:39they got there he said I've given you
55:41the land it's yours and so they sent the
55:45twelve spies in and they all came back
55:47saying great place land of milk of milk
55:51and honey but the ten spies said but
55:55there's giant there and we are too small
55:57to defeat them and when I was reading
56:02that meditating on it one day I just God
56:07just showed me what they were really
56:10thinking because I think that way a lot
56:13he said the reason they didn't believe
56:19they could take the land was because
56:21they were thinking if God's given us the
56:24land why do I have to fight for it
56:28right
56:30if God's given me healing why do I have
56:32to fight for it if he's given me
56:38prosperity why do I have to fight for it
56:41and along with that came the verse from
56:45Ephesians 6 that says take up the sword
56:48of the Spirit which is the word of God
56:51and it hit me oh it's called a sword
56:56because we're supposed to kill something
56:57with it I don't know how I missed that
57:01you don't want to kill people with it
57:06but if you haven't killed a giant that
57:10is keeping you out of your promises you
57:13haven't used the word correctly
57:15[Applause]
57:18it's time to take up the sword of the
57:22Spirit and it has to be used by the
57:26spirit a lot of times we're trying to
57:30use the word with our brain I'm just
57:35speaking it you're using it by n but at
57:40the same time you're defining yourself
57:42as a human to really get good results
57:45from the word you have to know your
57:47spirit and allow your spirit man to rise
57:51up and take that word and begin to
57:54declare it with all the Dominion and
57:56authority that your spirit man's been
57:58given but most people don't define
58:02themselves as a spirit they're so aware
58:05of their body that they have ignored the
58:08fact that they are more spirit than
58:10flesh we need to spend time practicing
58:17being who we really are I'm not a human
58:24having a spiritual experience I'm a
58:29spirit having a human experience and the
58:36more focus we give to who we really are
58:40the more it will manifest if you focus
58:45on your body your body will have the
58:47most manifestations if you focus on
58:51being spirit you will see the
58:55manifestation of the spirit realm
58:59nothing's worse than getting people born
59:02again of the spirit and then telling
59:03them to stay out of the spirit realm
59:07what you what do you need to be spirit
59:10for because you're the doorway between
59:12the realm of the Spirit of God and this
59:15realm
59:16you are the broker between the two
59:19realms because you're living as both but
59:27how do we actually access
59:30his room and bring it into this room
59:34it's by not trying to use our brain to
59:38do it we need to actually use you know
59:44the best way that I can describe it is
59:47remember the last time you had your
59:49great last great encounter with God
59:52whether it was a worship service a
59:54prayer time and something rose up within
59:57you and all of a sudden you felt like
59:59you could beat every obstacle that was
1:00:01in front of you and you felt like you
1:00:04had dominion again and you felt like you
1:00:06had perfect accord with the Father and
1:00:09all of a sudden things were clearer in
1:00:10the spirit that's the real you that when
1:00:15you leave that prayer time or worship
1:00:18service you shove back down and then
1:00:21step back into the old clothes we need
1:00:27to practice always being you know that's
1:00:29what walking in the spirit is walking in
1:00:31the spirit doesn't mean you walk in good
1:00:33character because I've seen a lot of
1:00:36people with good character who don't
1:00:38even know Jesus walking in the spirit
1:00:43means you are aware of your spirit and
1:00:46you're aware of being in two realms at
1:00:48the same time because your spirit
1:00:52doesn't know time or space yes not that
1:00:56your spirit leaves your body and then
1:00:58goes up into heaven your spirit can be
1:01:03in many places at one time and I won't
1:01:07scare you with some of the stories I've
1:01:09heard well maybe one or two because
1:01:20there's so many fascinating things that
1:01:22your mind just doesn't understand you
1:01:26know but I heard once that if you live
1:01:27out of your intellect then you will live
1:01:31out of your past experience your spirits
1:01:35the only thing that can take you to a
1:01:37whole new realm so one of the stories I
1:01:42heard was a
1:01:44guy had a dream and he said it felt so
1:01:47real
1:01:48that he was walking down a certain
1:01:50Street and he led somebody to the Lord
1:01:53and woke up thinking wow that was some
1:01:57dream that felt so real and a few days
1:02:00later he walked down that same street
1:02:02and the same guy walked up to him and
1:02:04said oh so good to see you again and
1:02:08he's like what he goes yeah don't you
1:02:11remember the other day you led me to the
1:02:12Lord who knows I don't understand that
1:02:18stuff another guy was one of his sons
1:02:23and the spirit was going overseas to
1:02:26minister someplace and he just felt this
1:02:29great urge to intercede for him and so
1:02:33he was interceding in one country his
1:02:37friend was in a church in another
1:02:38country and 20 people in that church and
1:02:42the other country saw him in the room I
1:02:47don't know you don't even have to
1:02:50believe me I'm just trying to get your
1:02:52brains unlocked and you know what are we
1:02:55really you know what's our real goal
1:03:00when being a Christian I just want to
1:03:03read a scripture genesis 12 12
1:03:06I mean 12:1 and 2 and 3 now the Lord had
1:03:11said to Abram get out of your country
1:03:13from your family and from your father's
1:03:16house to a land that I will show you I
1:03:19will make you a great nation I will
1:03:21bless you and make your name great and
1:03:23you shall be a blessing I will bless
1:03:26those who bless you and I will curse him
1:03:28who curses you and in you all the
1:03:31families of the earth shall be blessed I
1:03:36was reading that meditating on it and
1:03:39God reminded me of the scripture that
1:03:41says that when we got saved we were
1:03:44transferred from the kingdom of light
1:03:46darkness into the kingdom of light
1:03:52unfortunately you know the old saying
1:03:54you can take the cut the boy out of the
1:03:56country but you can't take
1:03:57country out of the boy sometimes I think
1:04:01we've been transferred from one Kingdom
1:04:04with all of its rules and regulations
1:04:06and principles and we've been
1:04:08transferred into a this isn't just
1:04:11theology he's not it's not symbolism he
1:04:17actually means that we've been
1:04:19transferred into a whole nother realm or
1:04:23Kingdom and to leave our father's house
1:04:28who once was the enemy and the way he
1:04:33works and the way his processes are and
1:04:38come into a whole new Kingdom one that
1:04:43has different rules and regulations and
1:04:47possibilities why are we still allowing
1:04:51gravity to hold us when we're no longer
1:04:57subject to it I think that we can do all
1:05:04kinds of things that we're just afraid
1:05:06of because we've heard demons do that do
1:05:12you know that the only things demons can
1:05:14do is rob from God when it says he who
1:05:22comes through the gate versus the one
1:05:26who jumps over the fence he's talking
1:05:28about the spirit realm we're the only
1:05:31ones with legal access to the spirit
1:05:34realm the New Agers which is warlocks
1:05:39all those people are climbing over the
1:05:42fence stealing our inheritance and then
1:05:44making us afraid of our inheritance what
1:05:51if there's something on the inside of
1:05:52you that is bigger than you've ever
1:05:54thought that has nothing to do with
1:05:58being human I was sharing how in Romans
1:06:0712:2
1:06:09says be transformed by the renewing of
1:06:11your mind
1:06:12and that word transformed is the same
1:06:15Greek word that we get the word
1:06:17metamorphosis from changing a
1:06:19caterpillar into a butterfly and what
1:06:23when I studied that it said that
1:06:25caterpillars don't evolve into
1:06:28butterflies they actually have two sets
1:06:32of DNA and when it's a caterpillar the
1:06:36butterfly DNA is dormant when it goes
1:06:39into the cocoon the caterpillar dnace
1:06:41left's off and dies and the butterfly
1:06:44DNA rises up and actually creates a
1:06:48whole new creation that's our problem we
1:06:56think God wants us to be better
1:06:57caterpillars the reason he can require
1:07:05us to raise the dead and heal the sick
1:07:07and cast out demons is because we're no
1:07:11longer caterpillars caterpillars can't
1:07:13do that
1:07:15caterpillars can't fly the only reason
1:07:19they're required to fly is because now
1:07:21they're butterflies
1:07:22if God's requiring you to do something
1:07:25it's because you are it you don't evolve
1:07:31into it just give yourself enough time
1:07:34as a Christian and all evolve you are it
1:07:39and they've proven that our DNA and
1:07:44genes can actually be turned on and off
1:07:48by what you believe and a large
1:07:53percentage of your DNA scientists don't
1:07:56know what they're for what if there's a
1:07:59whole group of DNA within you waiting
1:08:04for you to be transformed by thinking
1:08:07something different by renewing your
1:08:10mind be transformed by the renewing of
1:08:17your mind what if that means more than
1:08:20just stop sinning
1:08:26what if it means we're totally out of
1:08:30the realm of what people think a
1:08:32Christian should look like how big can
1:08:39we dream what could we possibly be and
1:08:44do just have a couple more scriptures
1:08:55here before something I forgot to say we
1:09:04obtain eternal life when we accept Jesus
1:09:08as Savior but we have a transformed life
1:09:14when we accept our resurrected self
1:09:22unless we really believe we are
1:09:24resurrected beans we won't be able to
1:09:29live out of it and I think that's been
1:09:32the problem most of us have been trying
1:09:34to do something while believing we're
1:09:36human and you can't that's why it
1:09:43doesn't come from the mind it comes from
1:09:44the heart all right I'm gonna just read
1:09:48a whole bunch of scriptures just because
1:09:50I want you to know I'm not totally crazy
1:09:55first John 4:17 love has been perfected
1:10:00among us in this that we may have
1:10:02boldness in the day of judgment because
1:10:05as he is so are we in this world our
1:10:10problem is we've been trying to model
1:10:12ourselves after an earthly Jesus when
1:10:14we're supposed to be modeling ourselves
1:10:16after a resurrected Jesus who lives at
1:10:21the right hand of the Father Romans 8:11
1:10:26but if the spirit of him who raised
1:10:28Jesus from the dead dwells in you he who
1:10:31raised Christ from the dead will also
1:10:33give life to your mortal bodies through
1:10:35his
1:10:36spirit who dwells in you most people
1:10:42read that without really thinking what
1:10:44it's saying do you realize he's talking
1:10:47to people who are already alive even
1:10:52when Jesus said I come to give life and
1:10:54that life more abundantly he's talking
1:10:56to people who are living
1:10:59maybe our understanding of what life is
1:11:03according to Jesus and what life is
1:11:06according to a human is two completely
1:11:08different things what if life with him
1:11:20is so much bigger I mean I just feel
1:11:25like I've probably never seen anybody
1:11:27who's actually living that life the kind
1:11:31of life he's talking about the God life
1:11:37Ephesians 2 he's raised us up together
1:11:41and made us sit together in the heavenly
1:11:44places in Christ Jesus
1:11:46and that's another scripture that for
1:11:49years I just thought it was you know
1:11:52symbolism if our spirit man really
1:11:57doesn't know time or space and we are
1:12:00actually seated there at the same time
1:12:03we're working here maybe we should find
1:12:07out what's going on up there maybe we
1:12:11should find out why we're supposed to be
1:12:13in both places we need to see things
1:12:17we've never seen before we need to start
1:12:20asking God open up my eyes let me let me
1:12:24see through the spirit let my brain
1:12:26submit itself to the spirit my
1:12:31imagination to the spirit 2nd
1:12:34Corinthians 3:16 nevertheless when one
1:12:37turns to the Lord the veil is taken away
1:12:42seek first the kingdom and all these
1:12:44things will be added to you
1:12:47set your mind on things above another
1:12:55version says set set your eyes on things
1:13:00above how do you see you know how do you
1:13:04set your gaze on something that your
1:13:06eyes cannot see unless you're allowing
1:13:10this spirit within you to paint a
1:13:12picture in your mind so you can
1:13:14understand what the spirit is seen at
1:13:16all times
1:13:28I thought I had another scripture but
1:13:29I'm that's not I really believe that a
1:13:37lot of times we are waiting for either
1:13:40God to zap us or for us to be worthy to
1:13:44be powerful Christians I wasted so many
1:13:49years on sabitch you know he wants me to
1:13:54have it he'll just zap me I'm here God
1:13:58zap me it doesn't come through I mean he
1:14:04does sovereignly occasionally zap people
1:14:05which makes me totally jealous but he
1:14:11told me the reason he zaps people and
1:14:14just gives them certain gifts is so that
1:14:17the rest of us will know what's
1:14:18available he said if I didn't do that to
1:14:22a few people then the rest of you
1:14:24wouldn't know what you can be when you
1:14:28see a powerful Christian raising the
1:14:30dead and causing blind eyes to see it's
1:14:34an invitation to you it's just like a
1:14:40baby
1:14:41it doesn't feel less than when it sees
1:14:45his brothers and sisters walking he just
1:14:48uses that as an invitation that oh I
1:14:50must be created to walk I'm created to
1:14:57do that oh and the baby doesn't just sit
1:15:02there every day waiting to be zapped he
1:15:07starts trying to learn and that's what
1:15:11we have to do in this spirit we have to
1:15:13be okay with the process you know just
1:15:16like a baby learns how this world works
1:15:18and how his muscles work that's what we
1:15:21have to do with the spirit that is born
1:15:23again within us unless we don't really
1:15:31believe we are spirit unless we believe
1:15:35were just supposed to be better
1:15:36caterpillars we've got way too many
1:15:41holy caterpillars it's time for some
1:15:45butterflies we need some people who are
1:15:50willing and you know when the the
1:15:56caterpillar goes into the cocoon how I
1:15:59like in that is us going into that
1:16:02private place of just soaking in his
1:16:04presence
1:16:05I believe it's impossible to sit in his
1:16:10presence and not be changed the more
1:16:14you're in his presence the more you
1:16:17slough off the old dead you and your
1:16:20spirit man rises up and you start
1:16:22feeling its presence and then you start
1:16:24knowing who you are you'll know you're
1:16:27in the spirit by a few emotions that
1:16:30will crop up with it and start noticing
1:16:33this when you're in a good worship
1:16:34service you'll have a sense of Dominion
1:16:37because when God created Adam and Eve it
1:16:41was to take Dominion so when they died
1:16:46they lost a minion when were born again
1:16:49we regained Dominion so your spirit
1:16:52already knows the perfectness of who and
1:16:57what he is and knows he sits eating with
1:17:00sitted set placed with Jesus the right
1:17:07hand of the Father and so there's a
1:17:09sense of Dominion that rises up within
1:17:11you that you can do anything and the
1:17:14other thing is there's a sense of
1:17:17identity and being loved and in perfect
1:17:20accord with the Father because there's
1:17:23no sin separating you so look for that
1:17:31look for that rising up and then
1:17:33practice it reimagine your last great
1:17:36encounter with God of just how how it
1:17:41felt to feel above instead of beneath
1:17:48because your flesh when we're too aware
1:17:51of our flesh we allow it to affect our
1:17:53emotions
1:17:54why don't we become more aware of our
1:17:56spirit and let our spirits affect our
1:17:59emotions and I'm not saying it can
1:18:04happen overnight I'm still working on
1:18:07this started here I'm here
1:18:11but I'm going there I'm not stopping
1:18:14till I can walk through walls and walk
1:18:16on water
1:18:17I just just saying you know for a long
1:18:26time people thought that the prophetic
1:18:28could only be used under a sovereign
1:18:30move of God you know if you wait for a
1:18:33perfect moment in church and you know
1:18:36something rises up within them and they
1:18:38give this prophetic word and then you
1:18:41know teachers started coming out and
1:18:43said no you can prophesy whenever God
1:18:45always wants to speak you just have to
1:18:47start listening and he'll speak through
1:18:48you and all of a sudden the whole
1:18:51culture changed but what I'm after is a
1:18:56lot for many years people have thought
1:18:59oh you you can only walk on water for
1:19:02you know just divine um sovereign move
1:19:06of God he really needs you to walk on
1:19:09water today what if that's not true
1:19:13anymore that you can only prophesy under
1:19:18a sovereign anointing what if it's
1:19:23actually within our DNA God told me once
1:19:29he I had been up in the mill the night
1:19:33and he reminded me of a scripture I read
1:19:36where Jesus had died and all the
1:19:38disciples were in the locked room and
1:19:40Jesus just appears in the locked room
1:19:43and so while I was up in the middle of
1:19:46the night he said Jesus said to me Wendy
1:19:48do you know how I got into the locked
1:19:50room and I'm like well you were a ghost
1:19:52you were dead so ghosts have no
1:19:55substance and they can walk through
1:19:56walls that's what all the ghost movies
1:19:58say and he said no I'm more real than
1:20:02the wall
1:20:06and as I was trying to get that in my
1:20:08head
1:20:09he said the Creator cannot have less
1:20:13substance than the creation so the
1:20:21spirit created this natural realm and
1:20:24guess what influences it spirit the
1:20:30spirit actually has more substance I'm
1:20:33not denying the substance but the spirit
1:20:37realm actually has more substance that's
1:20:41why Jesus said my words are spirit and
1:20:45they are life because spirit affects the
1:20:48natural and that's what we are that's
1:20:55why the whole earth is groaning and
1:20:57waiting for the revealing of the sons of
1:20:59God because the earth knows it won't be
1:21:01taken out from under its curse until we
1:21:04know that we are spirit and we speak
1:21:07words that are spirit in life into our
1:21:10universe that wasn't where I was going I
1:21:25think what I'd like to do instead of
1:21:28finishing that is two things one during
1:21:35prayer I just felt like there were some
1:21:37people with some really heavy things on
1:21:39their shoulders and it could be
1:21:41financial it could be relational it
1:21:46could even be physical but there was a
1:21:47weight on you and I felt I know this is
1:21:51gonna sound weird but I felt like God
1:21:53said he had brought some angels here
1:21:55this morning to lift the weight so if
1:21:59that's you if you could just stand
1:22:12hmm thank you God for your ministering
1:22:18spirits who want to co labor with us
1:22:22because you want to see us set free so
1:22:25that we can minister to those who need
1:22:28the word so whatever the weight and I
1:22:32just give you ministering spirits
1:22:35permission to go about the room and lift
1:22:39that weight that is settled on people's
1:22:42shoulders because God's burden is easy
1:22:46and light we're not required to carry
1:22:50weight so in Jesus name
1:22:53remove those weights now just kind of
1:23:02shrug your shoulders shake off any
1:23:08leftover stuff you are more spirit than
1:23:13flesh and you are not a victim to the
1:23:16natural realm you were called to be
1:23:19above and not beneath the head and not
1:23:22the tail you were called to have
1:23:24dominion over this natural realm and
1:23:31you're called to call in what you need
1:23:34you are the doorway between the
1:23:37supernatural and the natural begin to
1:23:40use your voice to pull from that realm
1:23:42into this realm use your voice give your
1:23:46spirit a voice and now if everybody
1:23:53would stand the last thing I want to do
1:23:55is I love to activate people's spirit
1:24:01man so just I want you to relax because
1:24:09sometimes if we're too aware of our mind
1:24:11and our body it's a it's hard to focus
1:24:14on our spirit so I just want you to take
1:24:16a couple deep breaths and just blow it
1:24:20out we're just going to relax we're
1:24:22gonna strive to experience our spirit
1:24:26you experience the spirit through peace
1:24:30so just relax your brain doesn't have to
1:24:35do anything your body doesn't have to do
1:24:37anything you're just gonna relax just
1:24:46blow out stress now just breathe in the
1:24:53kingdom of heaven allow your spirit to
1:24:58breathe in the life of where it resides
1:25:04let it rise up in power allow your true
1:25:09noble self to rise up that part of you
1:25:14that always wants to do it right picture
1:25:19your spirit man and we're not gonna make
1:25:21a theology over how you see your spirit
1:25:24man it just helps to see something you
1:25:26can imagine it as a light as a warrior
1:25:30as a beautiful son or daughter just
1:25:35picture your spirit man having complete
1:25:41awareness of God's love of his eye upon
1:25:47you loving on you having favored on you
1:25:56and then just you know there's a river
1:26:00of life that flows from the throne of
1:26:03God and wherever the river goes there is
1:26:06life so I just encourage you to picture
1:26:09that River and then picture your spirit
1:26:11man just stepping in and allow it to
1:26:18bring life and strength it needs to be
1:26:25rejuvenated it's been locked up it's
1:26:28been entombed by your old past but
1:26:32Wow it to come forth receive of the
1:26:37Father allow your brain to conceive that
1:26:43this is the real you that you're not
1:26:47your body your pain your hurts your
1:26:52failures your spirit created in His
1:26:57image you're alive
1:27:01but life life life fled through you fled
1:27:07through your spirit so strongly that it
1:27:10begins to affect even your body in your
1:27:12brain as it's a living breathing thing
1:27:15of substance within you it's so
1:27:20substantial it's even healing your body
1:27:22as it just flows through it and radiates
1:27:27from you and all of a sudden you have
1:27:34great wisdom you have great connection
1:27:38with a father and Jesus because you're
1:27:43meeting him spirit to spirit you're no
1:27:47longer meeting him as a human in need
1:27:51you're meeting him as a son or daughter
1:27:54made in His image as a spirit spirit to
1:27:59spirit life to life and father I just
1:28:07pray that each one of us will continue
1:28:11to grow and not be afraid of failure or
1:28:15mistakes but we're willing God to learn
1:28:17how to walk in the spirit
1:28:19whatever that means or entails you would
1:28:24not give us a heart to help people
1:28:27without giving us a supernatural ability
1:28:29to do it and that's what we're asking
1:28:34for
1:28:34we're tired of having to give them
1:28:36low-level bits of advice and tools
1:28:41we want to bring them life that changes
1:28:45them forever an encounter with you that
1:28:50totally rocks their world and will give
1:28:56you all the glory God and we thank you
1:28:58for this new birth that is within us and
1:29:01may we treasure it and take good care of
1:29:03it and allow it to prosper and to become
1:29:07more and more real in our heart and mind
1:29:12and we thank you for it in Jesus name
1:29:15Amen
