  1. 0:00All right, what's up? It's Thrax. We're
  2. 0:01back for another video. In this one,
  3. 0:03we're going to be doing a trading recap
  4. 0:05or a recap of our week this week. It was
  5. 0:08the first week of February. A little bit
  6. 0:10of a weird week, a volatile week, and we
  7. 0:12did take it a lot lighter or we were
  8. 0:14more passive this week just so that we
  9. 0:16can milk some payouts and build some
  10. 0:18more accounts. So, I'm going to be
  11. 0:19talking about what we were looking for
  12. 0:22as far as a weekly profile, how we
  13. 0:24actually ended up trading it, and then
  14. 0:27um we'll take a look at some of the
  15. 0:28results.
  16. 0:30So, this week in general, we had very
  17. 0:33large volatility. The ATR
  18. 0:36um for 5-minute candles at least was
  19. 0:38huge. I mean, there was like 50 points,
  20. 0:4060 points. So, I had to size down. I was
  21. 0:44mainly focusing on evals this week. At
  22. 0:47the very beginning of the week, I did
  23. 0:49pass two My Funded Future accounts, and
  24. 0:51then I ended up blowing them on silver.
  25. 0:53So, those came and went pretty quickly.
  26. 0:56Um but currently right now, we have four
  27. 0:58funded accounts. We started the week
  28. 1:00with one. Now, we have four. We did blow
  29. 1:03some accounts along the way. We went
  30. 1:05into a little bit of a rut there trading
  31. 1:07silver, so we're taking a break with
  32. 1:09silver. We're focusing on NQ. And plus,
  33. 1:12with the way that silver's been moving
  34. 1:14anyways, uh a lot of these prop firms
  35. 1:16are kind of cracking down on people
  36. 1:18trading silver anyways, which is kind of
  37. 1:20crazy to me, but it is what it is. So,
  38. 1:23I'm going to talk about what we were
  39. 1:24looking at at the weekly open. So, this
  40. 1:27right here,
  41. 1:28from here basically
  42. 1:30to here is our weekly profile.
  43. 1:33So, we're going to talk a little bit
  44. 1:34about what I was looking for to start
  45. 1:35the week, and then what my daily
  46. 1:37outlooks were, and then how it actually
  47. 1:39played out. Now, let's take a quick
  48. 1:41break to tell you about the sponsor of
  49. 1:42this video, Prop Firm Match. Prop Firm
  50. 1:45Match has built-in comparison tools, so
  51. 1:47you can compare prop firms against each
  52. 1:48other or even challenges against each
  53. 1:50other, and you have all the rules
  54. 1:52clearly laid out. You can even see which
  55. 1:54firms are actually being used by traders
  56. 1:56just like yourself by reading some of
  57. 1:58the reviews. So, you know exactly what
  58. 2:00you're spending your money on before you
  59. 2:02buy anything. It makes it really easy
  60. 2:04because you have everything now all in
  61. 2:05the same place. And if you want to use
  62. 2:07prop firm match, you can check the link
  63. 2:09in the description or in the pinned
  64. 2:10comment. And to make sure that you're
  65. 2:12getting the best deal on any of these
  66. 2:14firms, make sure you check out their
  67. 2:15exclusive offers and use code match.
  68. 2:18Now, let's get back into the video. So,
  69. 2:20just to make it simple, I'll keep them
  70. 2:22side by side. So, what I was
  71. 2:24anticipating
  72. 2:25starting on This is a screenshot from my
  73. 2:28weekly outlook at the beginning of this
  74. 2:29week.
  75. 2:30Um this is a 4-hour chart. We just came
  76. 2:33up and took out these highs. So, before
  77. 2:35we made any type of move up, I was
  78. 2:37expecting us to move lower. Now, when we
  79. 2:39did get lower, I was going to be looking
  80. 2:42whether or not we were to bounce or we
  81. 2:44were to actually just continue towards
  82. 2:46these lows here. What actually ended up
  83. 2:48happening that day was we opened up, we
  84. 2:51gapped down, we pushed lower into
  85. 2:53discount, which was about right here
  86. 2:55after we took these lows, and then we
  87. 2:56started coming back up back into premium
  88. 2:59of the higher time frame range here.
  89. 3:01Basically, what I was saying is I was
  90. 3:03looking for us to come down to 25,300
  91. 3:07to 25,250,
  92. 3:09which is basically here. We did
  93. 3:12overshoot it a little bit, but we found
  94. 3:14a little bit of support and we started
  95. 3:15bouncing up. We made a run on Monday.
  96. 3:17So, before market opened on Monday, what
  97. 3:20I was anticipating is since we did
  98. 3:22respect this area and we did get a
  99. 3:24bounce, I was looking for us to trade
  100. 3:25back into the middle of that higher time
  101. 3:27frame range or into premium of the
  102. 3:30range. So, these were the two scenarios
  103. 3:32I drew out for Monday morning, which was
  104. 3:34basically
  105. 3:36right here. I was expecting that we
  106. 3:38either dip lower, take out these lows,
  107. 3:40and then make a run up or just run up
  108. 3:42off the open to then target the top of
  109. 3:45the gap and basically Asia session
  110. 3:47highs.
  111. 3:48So, we ended up taking a trade to then
  112. 3:50target that, and that was a successful
  113. 3:52day. We ended up
  114. 3:54passing an eval or something like that
  115. 3:55or working on some evals that day. And
  116. 3:58then we were done in the AM session. So
  117. 4:00then we move over to the next day. Now
  118. 4:02the next day, what I was anticipating
  119. 4:04for this day is for us either to
  120. 4:05consolidate after a large move or I was
  121. 4:08looking for us to retrace into this
  122. 4:10area. Uh the large move up from Monday.
  123. 4:14Now, we had Asia highs get taken out by
  124. 4:17London highs.
  125. 4:18And when New York opened up and made a
  126. 4:20lower high here,
  127. 4:21uh we ended up trying to short this and
  128. 4:24take it down. Now, I ended up getting
  129. 4:26out of this and I think this was the day
  130. 4:28that I passed the MyFundedFutures
  131. 4:30accounts, where then I later in Asia
  132. 4:32session blew them on silver. Um but we
  133. 4:35got out. We made a quick $1,500 on that
  134. 4:37move down. We did have to get out. I was
  135. 4:40expecting us to bounce in this area
  136. 4:42potentially to continue up higher to
  137. 4:44take these highs.
  138. 4:45We never had We never ended up doing
  139. 4:47that. We just came all the way back down
  140. 4:50uh with a very large move to the
  141. 4:52downside, which was pretty interesting
  142. 4:54to see
  143. 4:55because then heading into the next day,
  144. 4:57essentially what I was anticipating was
  145. 5:00I wanted to see us continue lower.
  146. 5:02Now, this is right around the time that
  147. 5:04silver was tanking, that NQ went lower,
  148. 5:07that gold went lower, and also crypto
  149. 5:09went lower. So I was anticipating this
  150. 5:11move to continue to the downside. So
  151. 5:13before we actually opened up, I drew out
  152. 5:15two scenarios here. I was either
  153. 5:17thinking that we were going to pump up
  154. 5:18first to take the highs and then drop
  155. 5:20lower or if we were going to do
  156. 5:22basically the same thing that we did the
  157. 5:24day before, which London highs took Asia
  158. 5:27highs, we make a lower high pre-market,
  159. 5:30and then we just make a run lower to
  160. 5:32then target here.
  161. 5:34The analysis was right this day, but I
  162. 5:36actually didn't take any trades this day
  163. 5:38because the delivery in this area around
  164. 5:40market open, I just couldn't find an
  165. 5:42entry that made sense for me. It was a
  166. 5:44bit choppy, even though we did get that
  167. 5:46directional move lower. You can see it
  168. 5:48right here. It was just a little messy.
  169. 5:51So, I ended up not trading this uh this
  170. 5:53day.
  171. 5:54Heading into the next day, what I was
  172. 5:56looking for is after I saw the move
  173. 5:58pre-market for us that came down like
  174. 6:011,000 ticks, I was anticipating a little
  175. 6:03bit of a bounce here. So,
  176. 6:06this is right around here. I wanted to
  177. 6:08see whether or not we were going to
  178. 6:10continue up from here
  179. 6:12or if we were going to make one more low
  180. 6:14and then continue up from there. Um we
  181. 6:17did come into this area down here and
  182. 6:19then we started to basically
  183. 6:21consolidate,
  184. 6:22but we did end up making a move higher.
  185. 6:24And this move was also 1,000 ticks. So,
  186. 6:28all of these moves are massive this
  187. 6:29week. Uh but eventually we did start
  188. 6:31coming down lower. When this morning
  189. 6:33opened up, before we opened up, I was
  190. 6:36looking for us to essentially
  191. 6:39either come down first and make a move
  192. 6:42lower to then target these lows, these
  193. 6:44lows, and then the ultimate target being
  194. 6:46down here,
  195. 6:47or I was looking for us to
  196. 6:50come down first.
  197. 6:51I was watching this area or this area
  198. 6:54and I was going to see whether or not we
  199. 6:56were going to bounce. Now, in the event
  200. 6:57that we did bounce, I was looking for us
  201. 6:59to essentially target the previous day's
  202. 7:02Asia session highs, which
  203. 7:04the market's still open. It's a lunch
  204. 7:06hour right now. We can eventually get up
  205. 7:08here. This is the ultimate target for me
  206. 7:11for
  207. 7:12this New York session. And we wanted to
  208. 7:15see whether or not if we are going to
  209. 7:16continue, if we're going to make it up
  210. 7:17here. Now, what this is setting up for
  211. 7:19for next week in my head is keep in mind
  212. 7:23we still are
  213. 7:25technically in this huge range, okay?
  214. 7:27So, we're basically trying to play the
  215. 7:30range at the extremes and we're being
  216. 7:32careful whenever we're in the middle of
  217. 7:33this range. This is a very large range,
  218. 7:36okay? We poked our head out up top, we
  219. 7:38took the highs, and we made a massive
  220. 7:39move down this week. Um but we never
  221. 7:42took these lows. Now we're popping up on
  222. 7:44this daily candle and if we stay up
  223. 7:46here, then you know what? We're going to
  224. 7:48essentially open up on Sunday if we
  225. 7:51don't gap super hard, we're going to
  226. 7:53open up on Sunday potentially in the
  227. 7:55middle of the range. This is an
  228. 7:56extremely large range. It's like
  229. 7:591,800 points or over 7,000 ticks. And
  230. 8:03each of these daily candles within here
  231. 8:05is very large. I mean, I think the ATR
  232. 8:07on a value of 20 is for a daily candle
  233. 8:10or the average daily range right now is
  234. 8:12like almost 450 to 500 points a day. So
  235. 8:16there's massive moves every day within
  236. 8:18these candles. And it's a great
  237. 8:20opportunity for us to trade, but since
  238. 8:23the volatility is pretty large right now
  239. 8:25as we're making these moves from premium
  240. 8:28to discount to discount to premium,
  241. 8:31we need to be careful and potentially
  242. 8:32size down. So that's that's basically
  243. 8:35what I did this week is
  244. 8:37I noticed that the conditions were
  245. 8:38pretty volatile.
  246. 8:40I could have pressed the gas, but we're
  247. 8:42coming off of a pretty good week last
  248. 8:44week. So in this account, this is my um
  249. 8:49funded account where
  250. 8:50you know, we've been milking it
  251. 8:52in the past month or so. We've built it
  252. 8:54up. We're on like a 21-day win streak
  253. 8:56that you guys probably saw on the
  254. 8:58monthly recap. I just need to milk this
  255. 9:01balance. Um, so starting
  256. 9:04starting in the beginning of the week,
  257. 9:06we were at like a $20,000 balance on
  258. 9:09Tuesday. We hit the fifth day for our
  259. 9:12sixth payout on this account. So we just
  260. 9:16wanted to milk the days, get the payout.
  261. 9:19I took a $5,000 after the split. It was
  262. 9:22$4,500 on Tuesday. And then now we just
  263. 9:25are milking the days following that. Um,
  264. 9:28what did happen is I got another funded
  265. 9:32account with Topstep. We're on our
  266. 9:33second day this week. We've just been
  267. 9:35copy trading a couple accounts together
  268. 9:38and we're just trying to build the
  269. 9:39balance on it. Also this week on Funded
  270. 9:42Futures Network, we did the same thing,
  271. 9:45copy traded this account with the other
  272. 9:47accounts, and then I also have this
  273. 9:49account as well
  274. 9:51that we just passed
  275. 9:53this week as well. We're just flipping
  276. 9:56contracts. Today was the last day, so we
  277. 9:58passed it. And um we're going to have
  278. 10:01this account heading into next week. So
  279. 10:03next week we're going to have four
  280. 10:04funded accounts. We're probably going to
  281. 10:06size down just to see what happens. I'm
  282. 10:09going to stay away from silver. It was a
  283. 10:11little bit of a uneventful week for me.
  284. 10:14Just trying to milk the accounts here,
  285. 10:16trying to get payouts, and trying to
  286. 10:17essentially just set myself up for a
  287. 10:19good month this month with more funded
  288. 10:21accounts and copy trading them. Um I
  289. 10:23would say that the analysis in terms of
  290. 10:25the weekly profile and the daily
  291. 10:27outlooks that I was posting in the
  292. 10:29Discord, they were for the most part um
  293. 10:31pretty decent. And always, like I say,
  294. 10:34having a plan before heading into New
  295. 10:36York open is always the best thing to do
  296. 10:39so that you have in validation areas,
  297. 10:41you have areas that you're watching for
  298. 10:43as price is moving a million miles an
  299. 10:44hour um so that you can
  300. 10:47keep track of what's going on. So we're
  301. 10:49going to try and continue the winning
  302. 10:51streak here. Um this is the third day.
  303. 10:53So if we can get this account to more
  304. 10:55winning days making it like a 23-day win
  305. 10:58streak on this account I will take
  306. 11:00another payout, a max payout on the
  307. 11:0310th, hopefully. And then we'll try and
  308. 11:06continue to build more funded accounts.
  309. 11:08The goal is to get to like 10 funded
  310. 11:10accounts. Right now we're only at four,
  311. 11:12and we're going to try and make more in
  312. 11:14payouts this month than we made last
  313. 11:16month. So last month we were at, I don't
  314. 11:19know, like $13,000 in payouts or
  315. 11:21something like that after the split. And
  316. 11:23currently for this month we're at $4,500
  317. 11:25in payouts after the split. So we're
  318. 11:27going to try and continue to grow that
  319. 11:29and try not spend too much money on
  320. 11:32evals and eat away our profits with
  321. 11:35fees. So, that's just a quick recap. I
  322. 11:38do post daily outlooks and weekly
  323. 11:39outlooks every single day and every week
  324. 11:42inside of the Discord. It's free. If you
  325. 11:44want to join it, click the link below.
  326. 11:46We're going to just continue to milk
  327. 11:47this account and then continue to try
  328. 11:49and grow the balance on this and the
  329. 11:51other two funded accounts and then
  330. 11:52probably add more fundings by trading
  331. 11:54some evals. So, we'll see how it goes. I
  332. 11:56will catch you guys next time. Peace.
