3. 0:03received his life?
4. 0:06If he had remained on earth in his
5. 0:07present form, how many people?
6. 0:10One.
7. 0:12Only himself.

9. 0:13>> He could have had this victory for one
10. 0:14person, only himself. He had to be able
11. 0:18to do something else. He had to find a
12. 0:20way to become such a being
13. 0:23that he could literally impart that
14. 0:25life, that life of victory, that new
15. 0:28human life that was now united to
16. 0:30divinity, that had conquered sin and
17. 0:32conquered death. He had to find a way to
18. 0:33pass that life on to other people.

20. 0:37>> And it had to be his life, not somebody
21. 0:39else's life.
22. 0:40Follow the parallel. Just as Adam gave
23. 0:42us his life,
24. 0:44so the second Adam has to give us
25. 0:46>> [music]

27. 0:49If you don't understand it, you make a
28. 0:50mockery of what the Bible is trying to
29. 0:52say.

31. 0:54>> We received the first life by
32. 0:56inheritance. We became condemned by
33. 0:59inheritance. How do we become righteous?

35. 1:02Same principle, inheritance.
36. 1:05We inherit that life from Christ.
