0:01Blade, is set to air on the 19th of
0:03October. And a week later, episode 50
0:06will bring the Bleach Thousand-Year
0:07Blood Warwire anime to a close. So
0:09during this gap, it feels like a perfect
0:11time to run everything back. In this
0:13video, we'll be recapping and reviewing
0:15everything that Call has released so far
0:18across episodes 41 to 48. This will be
0:20the perfect refresher video for all of
0:23the details that you may have missed
0:24before the Thousand-Year Bloodwalk Call
0:26for finale airs. But you know which
0:28Bleach characters can see in the future
0:30and know the events of episodes 49 and
0:3250. These are the individuals that are

0:44released a bit earlier the end of June
0:46where the first three episodes were
0:47previewed during a limited theatrical
0:49event. Then on the 25th of July, Core 4
0:53was officially broadcast in Japan and
0:55released on streaming platforms. We
0:57learned very quickly that it was going
0:58to run for 10 episodes rather than the
1:01standard 13 episodes of previous cars.
1:03The opening eyeball was sung by Joji and
1:06the ending is Rasen by Nin Lana. Kubo
1:09personally picked both of these songs
1:11and Kubo also explained that the
1:12subtitle the calamity shares a kanji
1:15with Rioa because at its heart this is
1:17the story of the kids who were once
1:20labeled Rioa during the Soul Society
1:22arc. Core one adapted around 62 chapters
1:25of manga. Core 2 pushed that to 67 and a
1:27half chapters. Core 3 covered 52
1:30chapters, which leaves Core 4 with just
1:3225 and a half chapters to stretch across
1:35the 10 episode season. Kubo said it
1:37himself at Anime Expo 2025 that the
1:40amount of supervision work he's done for
1:42car 4 alone was equal to everything that
1:44he's done across calls 1 to three
1:46combined. Series director Hikaru Murata
1:48named Bankai as the key word of core 4.
1:52So, going in, we know that this is going
1:54to be the most heavily rewritten stretch
1:56of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc
1:57anime. What we didn't know was the
2:00pattern that it would follow. Episodes
2:0241 to 44 blend manga material with a
2:05brand new subplot. Episodes 45 to 47 go
2:08almost fully anime original. Then,
2:10episode 48 snaps back to a near one:1
2:13manga adaptation right before the finish
2:16line. So, we begin with episode 41
2:19titled God of Thunder. Coral opens with
2:22a dream. As Yuhobak is asleep on his
2:24throne, he watches Ichigo approach him
2:26in his original Shinigami Shihakusho.
2:29You'll notice this is the outfit that
2:30Ichigo dons during the Soul Society arc
2:33or after his shattered shaft training
2:35with Uralara. He wields the very first
2:37version of Zangutsu as he cuts down
2:40Yuobag. The Quincy Emperor refers to
2:42this as a wonderful dream because
2:44there's nothing better than a nightmare.
2:46This cold open is content from chapter
2:49672 pulled forward. And yeah, I do want
2:52to mention this video will have spoilers
2:53for the finale. It is a near mirror of
2:56the actual killing blow that Ichigo
2:58lands on from chapter 684. And honestly,
3:02at this point, you've got two and a half
3:03chapters of manga content. Just read
3:05those two and a half chapters because
3:06manga readers and anime only viewers are
3:08going to be blind going into this finale
3:10due to the amount of changes that that
3:12there will be. But yeah, coming back on
3:14track from there, Yuabag opens seven
3:16eyes across the darkness on his head and
3:18he reviews the state of the battlefield
3:20and we get a full 3D CG panacross
3:23Verald. The Visa preparing to face
3:26Gerard. Yuruichi against Asin. Basby
3:29lying motionless in his own blood at the
3:31foot of Silver. Uru stays behind to hold
3:34off Hashwald while promising Ichigo that
3:36these won't be his last words. and Chad
3:38and Ganju end up carving out a path
3:40through a hall of animated statues so
3:42that Ichigo and Uriime can keep climbing
3:45up towards Yuhabag. Then the episode
3:46gives us its first major swing as we
3:49have a fully anime original Uru versus
3:51Hashwad fight which spans for roughly
3:54five straight minutes. Hashwad toys with
3:56him as he utilizes the almighty as he
3:59then lays out the plan that the manga
4:00only really implied within fragments.
4:03the mass extermination of hollows, the
4:05deaths of Yamamoto and the royal guard,
4:07and the soul king being absorbed into
4:09Yu-Hob. Each of these events has
4:11shattered the balance of souls. So, a
4:13rift is opening beneath Vaherald. And
4:15the goal is the annihilation of the
4:17three realms. So, a quincy monarchy can
4:19be built on the wreckage of reality. At
4:22the same time, over in Kakura Town,
4:24Ginta, Udu, and Tessai watch a hollow
4:26get swallowed by a distortion in the
4:28sky. Now, this one scene launches a 4
4:31episode subplot about the three worlds
4:33which are collapsing which simply
4:35doesn't exist in the manga. The second
4:36half of the episode belongs to Yurui as
4:39Asin has a death store with a hybrid
4:41gift ball. Thankfully, Ura arrives as he
4:44injects her with a rushed immunizing
4:46agent that buys 5 minutes worth of time.
4:49He flips over a card that reads, "You're
4:51going to transform." After this flips
4:53and he triggers Shunko Rayu Seni Shinriu
4:57Kokubor Senki Yoruichi becomes a
4:59lightning beast whose rayatsu alters 48
5:02times every second. She's effectively
5:04faster than the rate that Asin's
5:06immunity is able to adapt. She proceeds
5:08to maul him across the battlefield while
5:10occasionally stopping midfights to groom
5:12herself. Ura lows her back with yodu
5:15nib, a form of catnip. As the episode
5:18ends on the counter with Askin
5:20descending in his volandig called
5:22hashine as he wraps everything in the
5:25largest gift ball that he is able to
5:27produce. This was a solid opening
5:30episode and it gets the call ready for
5:32the biggest new idea which is the
5:34disruption of the balance of souls from
5:36the very first minute. Episode 42, Son
5:38of Darkness, opens with a completely
5:40unexpected flashback featuring Orihime
5:43and Tatsky at a school greenhouse. Ori
5:46compares a Gloriosa flower to Ichigo's
5:48heart. It's the same flower that's been
5:51woven through the opening of Call One
5:53and its ending. Kubo has said outright
5:55in interviews that Odriime's additions
5:57across this core exist so that
5:59first-time viewers understand why she
6:01ends up at Ichigo's side. The Askin
6:03fight resolves within this episode and
6:05it's truly a chess match. Hashi
6:07encounters the 48 changes trick because
6:10if Askin survives one second of contact,
6:12he is able to sample every single
6:14variation at once. He fires a gift ring
6:17that destroys Urahara's eyes one after
6:19the other. And with no other option
6:21left, Ura finally reveals his bankai
6:24that he is not once used in front of
6:26anyone. It's cannon biaki Beniheime
6:28Aratame, a giant unsettling Beniheime
6:31that restructures whatever she touches.
6:33It restores Urara's eyes and leaves
6:36stitching across his face while Ura
6:38rides her threads through the air like
6:40rails. The killing blow against Asin is
6:43landed by Grimjou, who punches through
6:45his chest and crushes his heart. This is
6:47because Urroara had healed Grimjao on
6:49the way over knowing that an Aranka's
6:51rayatu completely changes to that of an
6:54hollow when they are in their
6:55resurrection. So it renders all of
6:57Askin's accumulated immunity data
7:00worthless. And this sums up Urohara. He
7:02takes a thousand precautions so that
7:04even one will succeed. And in death,
7:06Askin still nearly wins because with
7:08nobody moderating it, the gift ball
7:10deluxe now intensifies into a lethal
7:12dome. Nell watches from the outside as
7:14she counts four rayatsu signatures
7:16within the gift ball deluxe as she works
7:18out that she'll need two round trips to
7:20rescue them. Meanwhile, Ichigo and
7:22Orihime reach the throne room as Yuobach
7:24greets him as his son of darkness. We
7:27then get an exchange which is the
7:29emotional spine of this confrontation.
7:31Yuobach dismisses Ishin as a standing
7:34father as Ichigo rejects Yuobach
7:36entirely, calling him the man who killed
7:38his mother. The first clash against this
7:40all neww uhak with the soul king's
7:43rayatu absorbed goes about as well as
7:45you'd expect. Hashwad activates an all
7:48new soul king absorbed almighty form as
7:50black rayatu paws out from his eyes.
7:53Three blue irises appear within his eyes
7:55as we have multiple almighty eyes
7:58appearing across his shoulders as he
8:00says the line despair begins now. This
8:02transformation was created and designed
8:04by Kubo himself as the anime staff
8:07wanted Hashwar to have a new
8:09transformation which would be able to
8:11stand toe-to-toe against Udyu's new
8:13anime exclusive Volstandic. Episode 43
8:16titled Blood for My Bone begins with
8:18Kimpachi waking up inside of Mayori's
8:20preservation vat and solving the problem
8:23of a locked door by kicking it several
8:25meters across the battlefield. This
8:27episode features a twominute anime
8:29exclusive standoff between Orihime and
8:32Yuhob. As Yuabak explains that the same
8:34power that flows through him flows
8:36through Ichigo. So on some unconscious
8:38level, Odhime accepts his attacks, but
8:41she pushes back his rayatu with Shiten
8:43Koshun anyway as her arms get shredded.
8:45She refuses to move as Ichigo then
8:48debuts the Getsa Guji show. We then get
8:51some new lore additions within the
8:53episode as we see Ichibbe stood before
8:55the blood oath seals. He paints a black
8:58salamander made of ink as he drinks the
9:00black liquid that the salamander is made
9:02off of and he apologizes. In parallel to
9:05this, Hashwad and Yu-hobach narrate
9:07exactly what he's apologizing for. Ichay
9:10took Ichigo in and gave him the soul
9:12king's memories in order to judge his
9:14worthiness when he was walking down the
9:16path of Irusando. This is because
9:18Ichay's true plan was to install Ichigo
9:21as the next soul king. Yubach describes
9:23this a fate worse than death as black is
9:26the color of chaos and chaos belongs to
9:28the soul king's power and the one who
9:31controls that black is Ichibbe. It's
9:33very chilling and both Ichigo and Udyu
9:36in completely separate battles give the
9:38exact same answer as they say, "So
9:40what?" Ichibet's plan being put on
9:42screen stems from the can't be your own
9:44world light novels. So, it's great to
9:46finally have this law officially
9:48animated. The rest of the episode
9:49focuses on Gerard as all of the Visards
9:52face off against him and their attacks
9:54converge into a combined rainbow of
9:56Serero fire. Gerard walks out of the
9:58smoke and larats all eight Visard into
10:02eight separate buildings. Hitsugaya then
10:04arrives as he holds Gerard's arm in ice.
10:07This is material from chapters 658 and
10:10659 that C3 skipped over. So, it's been
10:14rearranged and placed here. Kimpachi
10:16then crashes the party as he severs
10:18Gerard's arm and releases Nosarashi
10:20against Hoffnung. Now, this is where the
10:22fight's cruel gimmick reveals itself.
10:24Gerard Valkyy's body is inflated by the
10:26fears of people. His sword is forged
10:28from their hopes, and every chip that
10:30you put into that blade carves a
10:32matching wound of despair into your own
10:34body. Byakya, Hitsuggaya, and Kimpachi
10:37each chip Gerard's sword as it results
10:39in them all being injured. This was the
10:41final episode that was included within
10:43the call for the calamity cinema
10:45screenings in June. Episode 44, the
10:48perfect crimson takes us into the hidden
10:50lab of the research and development
10:52institute. Here we learn that the border
10:54intensity between the worlds has hit
10:56plus 1.02. The power of Mimihagi that
10:59Ukitake is releasing appears to be
11:01weakening. Aon states that if this
11:03continues, then the three realms will
11:06cease to exist. We then cut to a raven
11:08landing in a puddle within Kakura Town
11:11and reflected on the puddle is the seret
11:14which appears upside down within the sky
11:16of the world of the living. The anime is
11:19doing an excellent job of selling this
11:21apocalyptic vibe via these anime
11:23exclusive editions. We then see Himpachi
11:26lying in rubble as Noarashi appears
11:28before him. She takes the form of Yachu,
11:31his lieutenant, telling him there's
11:33nobody that he cannot cut and handing
11:36him the power of Bankai. Kimpachi's skin
11:38then turns red as horns sprout from his
11:41skull as he intercepts Gerard's punch
11:43with his teeth before biting clean
11:45through and ripping Gerard's arm off. He
11:47carves through his shield and cuts
11:49through the hand holding it and
11:51eventually cuts Gerard vertically in
11:53half with one swing. A Quincy cross then
11:55rises from the corpse, building a
11:57beating heart out of Gerard's own blood
11:59as it stitches him back together in his
12:01full wall standing. Then Kimpachi's
12:03bunkai gets too much to handle as
12:05Nosarashi admits that she released more
12:07power than Kimpachi's body could handle
12:10as his arm shears off at the elbow. Then
12:12the last of Hitsugaya's ice petals
12:14shatter and instead of his bankai
12:16collapsing, it transforms into a
12:19completed state as it ages him into his
12:21adult form. What follows is a incredible
12:24sequence as a flash frozen Hofnung is
12:27split in two with no despair wound
12:29because frozen matter ceases to
12:31function. Shikai Hoketsu locks Gerard
12:33solid as Gerard breaks out anyway and he
12:36roars that he cannot be bound by the
12:38mere elements of this world. Then a
12:40one-armed Kimpachi anchors Gerard's
12:43ankle as Byaka unveils Sank and finishes
12:46off with Ika Sanjinka to take Gerard's
12:48head off while he is frozen. But even
12:50then, Gordon Rishi rebuilds Gerard one
12:53more time as he appears in gleaming new
12:56armor as the fight then suddenly grounds
12:58to a halt. Renji and Rukia also return
13:01to the battlefield after being healed as
13:03they assume that Hitsugaya in his adult
13:05form is Hitsugaya's older brother. This
13:07episode also features Ichigo activating
13:10his horn of salvation form as he fires
13:12off the Grand Ray Sero Getsa. This
13:14episode featured Kimpachi's Bankai
13:16Hitsugaya's adult form along with the
13:19Horn of Salvation reveal with about 6
13:21and a half chapters worth of content
13:23adapted into episode 44. Episode 45
13:26titled Defend You has been the most
13:28iconic episode of the entire
13:30Thousand-Year Blood War arc anime. This
13:32episode adapts three pages from chapter
13:34677,
13:36and it ran for about 27 minutes, and it
13:39had no ending song and no next episode
13:41preview. So, the vast majority of this
13:43episode was anime original content that
13:46was made under Kubo's supervision. The
13:48first half of the episode sees Yubak
13:50impaling Ichigo. Then, Orihime heals him
13:53as Yubak starts impaling her instead
13:55over and over, watching with genuine
13:57curiosity to see how many times she can
13:59drag herself back up with Sauten Kishun
14:02before her power runs dry. Rukia then
14:04arrives on the battlefield with
14:05Sodinoshi Rayuki freezing Yuobach's
14:08darkness mid strike. Yobach thanks Rukia
14:10as the Shinigami whose actions awakened
14:12Ichigo's powers in the first place. Then
14:15Ichigo activates his bankai as he
14:17releases an all new form called
14:20Bloodchains Ichigo. This was designed
14:22and named by Kubo and it's a
14:24transformation that we've never seen in
14:26any other form of Bleach media. We see a
14:28second horn appear on Ichigo's head. He
14:30has crimson skin as chains of red Rayatu
14:33form around his neck, wrists, and
14:35ankles. With this new transformation,
14:37Ichigo can create rayatu clones that let
14:39him attack from six directions at once.
14:42He also has an all new ultimate getsa
14:44which hangs in the sky as an enormous
14:46black cresant moon that's visible across
14:49all of Varaveald. Rukia identifies this
14:51as the power of the true Zangsu. Despite
14:54Ichigo's best efforts, Yubak refuses to
14:57die as he explains that he has to
14:59understand Ichigo completely in order to
15:01devour him. Now, alongside all of this,
15:03we have Udyu's checkmate as Hashwward
15:06gleefully announces that he's foreseen
15:07Udyu's last resort, which is the Sanray
15:10glove. What he hasn't foreseen is where
15:12it's going. Udyu exploits the 3-second
15:15blind spot between each of Hashwald's
15:17uses of the Almighty. This allows him to
15:20use the antithesis to swap the Sanray
15:22glove from his hand onto Hashwald's own
15:24hand. Then, the final moments of the
15:26episode play as Odriime watches Ichigo
15:28pinned under Yuhabak's boot. She stops
15:31wishing that she could protect him and
15:32she starts to act as the six Shunan RA
15:36leave her hairpins. Blood traces upwards
15:38through the air. A spinning halo then
15:41unfolds into a six-pled flower and Roen
15:44Shishun erases both Orihime and Yuobach
15:48from existence, leaving nothing behind
15:50but red petals that fall around Ichigo
15:53and Rukia. Now, when this episode
15:54released, it was a perfect 10 out of 10
15:57on IMDb. And after all of the hype
15:59settled down, the score for this episode
16:01sits at 9.7. Now, at the time of making
16:04this video, it's the single highest
16:06rated episode of the entire
16:07Thousand-Year Blood War arc anime
16:09adaptation. Episode 46, titled The End,
16:12sees Tatsky wake up in Karakura Town
16:14crying without knowing why. In Bahraalt,
16:17a single eye opens in the darkness above
16:19the throne room as Yubak returns with
16:21Odhime floating unconscious beside him.
16:24as the version of the future where she
16:26erased him simply never existed. Yubach
16:29states that the Almighty is not the
16:30power to see the future. It is the power
16:32to alter the future. Every possible
16:34future is a grain of sand and Yuhobach
16:37is able to pick whichever one he wants
16:39to bring to the present. Meanwhile,
16:41Hashwald explains that his powers and
16:42Yuobach swapped back seconds before Udyu
16:45fired the Sanray glove. So, Udyu burned
16:48his trump card, destroying nothing.
16:50Hashwald then activates the balance in
16:52full as his shield absorbs every
16:54misfortune aimed at him and redirects it
16:57onto the fortunate which means every
16:59wound that Udyu inflicts comes back
17:01doubled. Uduryu then uses his shift the
17:04antithesis seriously as this is the
17:06power to designate two points and
17:08reverse everything that happens between
17:09them. The anime then shows us Udyu using
17:12the antithesis inside of Kio's cage of
17:15life and during the glove swap. The
17:17episode also builds upon the each base
17:20subplot. During the beginning of the
17:21episode, the ground splits open and the
17:24soul king's ceremonial chamber rises as
17:26Ichigo walks towards it with Renji
17:28recognizing that this is Ichib's
17:30handiwork. Rukia refers to him as a fool
17:33as Ichigo's pretty much accepted his
17:35fate as the new soul king. All of this
17:38happens before Yuobach returns with
17:40Orihime. Within this episode, Ichigo
17:42activates the manga accurate true bunkai
17:45as the two blades merge into one and
17:47Yuak snaps it in his grip, explaining
17:49that he broke it in the future, so it
17:51arrives already broken. He tears off
17:53Ichigo's horn and tells Renji that he
17:55likes the word bankai because it lets
17:57Shinigami stand up one last time before
17:59he crushes them. He then cuts Soo
18:02Zabimaru and Renji himself into pieces.
18:05He breaks Rukia's arm and impales Chad
18:07and Ganju. It's pretty much an execution
18:10sequence that wasn't in the manga. Now,
18:12a significant change that occurs here is
18:15that before Yuobach breaks Ichigo's
18:17Bankai, he actually casts the Ashvallin
18:19on Hashald. As Yuobach states that he
18:22needs his son for this moment as he
18:24takes back all of Hashald's power and
18:26immediately after this, Ichigo's banana
18:28is broken. Hashwald here realizes that
18:30Duo's no longer acting for the best
18:33interest of the Quincy race. Here, he
18:35asks Udyu to transfer his wounds onto
18:37him. so that he could join Ichigo and
18:40use his powers to stop the Quincy
18:42Emperor. Hashwar dies as we see Basby's
18:45childhood emblem engraved onto the hilt
18:47of his blade. Then we have episode 47
18:50titled The N2. In the manga, Yuak rips
18:53Mimihagi out of Ukitake. This occurs
18:56back in chapters 619 and 620, and
18:59Ukitake dies in Core 3's time frame. The
19:02anime deliberately didn't adapt those
19:04pages and kept Ukitake and Mimihagi
19:07around. In the opening moments of this
19:09episode, we see Shunui unconscious as
19:11he's pulled beneath the water into
19:13Mimihagi's realm. He finds a young
19:16Ukitake waiting for him. Ukitake wants
19:18to bet the last of his life on Shunui.
19:20And when he asks what the odds of
19:22winning actually are, he grins and says
19:25they're about the same as Shuni asking
19:26Unahana out on a date, which Shunui
19:29naturally takes as a fair chance. This
19:31moment ends with adult Ukitake's voice
19:34saying he's counting on the head
19:36captain. Later in the episode, as
19:38Yubak's final black Ashwan then tears
19:40the stolen Quincy power out of the
19:42remaining Quincy, Shunsui's arm opens
19:44Mimihagi's eye and he deliberately fires
19:48the god of stillness into Yuobach's
19:50final ashvalen. While doing this,
19:52Ukitake appears to die smiling within
19:54the research and development institute.
19:56Mimihagi now appears to be a hidden
19:59loaded gun within Yuhabag and it seems
20:01like its role will be fulfilled within
20:03episode 49. Now this episode focuses on
20:07an alliance which the manga never showed
20:09as Uru Shunui Nano Hibbell Nell Pes and
20:13Dondaka stand around the chamber holding
20:16the seed of destruction with Soen
20:17Ishida's journal revealing the truth
20:20that Udyu's own grandfather's research
20:22into fusing different species of souls
20:24had become the engine that Yuobach is
20:26using to collapse the three realms and
20:29that the only way to destroy the seed of
20:31destruction is to collide it with one of
20:33the major distortion ions that are
20:35occurring at the boundary of the realms.
20:38So Udyu's plan is in effect as the
20:40Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow work
20:42together for the first time. Udu handed
20:44to each of them a collapse chip. They
20:46are to place this on the inner wall of
20:48the bridge leading out from the central
20:50tower. The plan is to drop the central
20:53tower where the seed of destruction is
20:55into the massive distortion that's
20:57immediately below Varavevelt. So all of
20:59the other platforms remain suspended in
21:01the air while the central tower falls.
21:04Haribell's Cascada and Lagota expose the
21:06seed of destruction as Nell's Lanzodor
21:09Verde spins up and Uru utilizes the
21:12antithesis as he swaps his arrow with
21:14the lance in order to sever Yuhobach's
21:16arm. He swaps a destroyed future for one
21:19where the arrow never broke and he swaps
21:21two buttons for Hadtybell and Nell in
21:23order to extract them to safety as he
21:26finally swaps Yuobach himself with
21:28Nell's Bangal in order to trap him
21:30within the falling central tower. This
21:32is so that Yobak is caught within the
21:35epicenter of the huge explosion that
21:37will result from the seed of destruction
21:39colliding with the distortion. So Ishida
21:42stated that the explosion between the
21:44seed and the distortion will be realm
21:47destroying. So Udyu needs to contain
21:49this worldending explosion as he uses
21:52tens of thousands of interwoven flesh
21:54arrows as he burns his own hand and face
21:57in the process as he wraps these arrows
21:59around the explosion in order to contain
22:02it before Yuobach confronts Udyu Nell
22:04and Haribbell. He actually casted the
22:07final Ashvan which takes Ichigo's hollow
22:09and quincy powers as he also reduces
22:12Gerard down to a skeleton and he takes
22:14back all of the power from those little
22:17barrel flamingo birds within the ser.
22:19Now after Udyu's plan we see the
22:21menacing Yuobach laughing in the sky. He
22:24states that every shrift has been
22:26sublimated into his almighty. This in my
22:29opinion was yet another incredible
22:31episode of Call 4. I'd say it's my
22:33second favorite of the entire call. We
22:35had tons of anime original content. We
22:38had the payoff to story beats that were
22:40left unexplained from the manga. And
22:42this takes us directly into episode 48
22:45titled The N2 World, the most
22:47controversial episode from the

22:50Episode 48 adapts a considerable amount
22:53of manga material. as we have page 10
22:56from chapter 681 adapted through to page
22:599 of chapter 684. The episode stops
23:02exactly one page before Uru fires the
23:06still silver arrow head through
23:07Yuhabak's chest. So it's literally one
23:09page away from the sequence that ends up
23:11killing the Quincy Emperor. This episode
23:13sees Nau healing Ichigo and Renji as
23:16Orihime tearfully discovers that she
23:18cannot repair Tensa Zangetsu. As Rukia
23:20works out that something broken in the
23:22future has always been broken. There is
23:24no past state to restore. That is until
23:27the members of execution walk in.
23:29Sukushima drives Book of the End through
23:31Ichigo's shoulder and inserts himself
23:33into Ichigo's history as he creates an
23:36unaffected past where the blade was
23:37never broken. This allows Orihime's
23:40rejection powers something to latch
23:42onto. As Gjo, Ruka, and Yukio bicker
23:45about whose idea this was. Ichigo's
23:47inner world shows a black moon and a
23:50white moon silently merging and Tensel
23:52Zangutu is reborn. Gingjo states that
23:54their debt is now repaid. Elsewhere,
23:57Komamura dreams of Yamamoto as he wakes
24:00up in his wolf form and gets to action,
24:02walking towards where Yuhabak is as he
24:04realizes that he still has a duty to
24:06protect. Renji delivers his portal
24:08speech straight from the manga as he
24:10states that they'll carry Ichigo forward
24:12for the rest of time because Ichigo is
24:14the reason that he and Rukia found their
24:16way back to each other. And for the
24:18first time since episode 40, the finale
24:20of Core 3, we see Ryuken and Isin
24:23reappear as Uryuken personally hands
24:25over to Uru the still silver arrowhead.
24:28We learn that this is created from the
24:30silver of stillness, a clot that forms
24:32within the heart of every single Quincy
24:35that was killed by Ashvallan. We then
24:37see a anime exclusive image of young
24:39Udyu at the grave of his mother. Yubak
24:41then descends upon the ser as he sweeps
24:43his hand and pillars of blue flame begin
24:46to destroy everything. Out of the smoke,
24:48Eizen states, "I never expected to see
24:50you in the serate again." as he formally
24:52welcomes Yuobach to his soul society.
24:55The entire Eizen versus Yuoba
24:57confrontation which follows is
24:59essentially one to one adapted from the
25:01manga. Everything from Eizen's ultimate
25:03gaming chair chess some being destroyed
25:05as Eizen clarifies that he isn't
25:07fighting for the soul society but he's
25:09fighting to crush anything that tries to
25:11control him. Hardo 99 Godu Tenmetsu
25:14erupts from the earth as Yuobach points
25:16out that Kyokasu Getsu's blade is
25:18already broken. While Yuak is certain
25:20that he's seen through the hypnosis, he
25:22then impales Ichigo in front of him as
25:24Eizen drops the line, "So I appear to
25:27you as Ichigo Kurasaki." The fact is
25:29that Eizen had released Kiyokasuigi
25:31before Ichigo and Renji arrived onto the
25:33battlefield. [music]
25:34So Yuabak was battling against illusions
25:37of Ichigo and Renji when in fact he was
25:39only facing off against Eizen the entire
25:42time. This confirms that Kyokasuigi is
25:44able to corrupt even the futures that
25:46the Almighty shows to Yuhobak. And
25:48because Eizen never showed the release
25:50of his Zambakto to Ichigo, he was immune
25:52to everything that Yuhabak was
25:54witnessing. He takes advantage of the
25:56situation and runs Yuhabak through from
25:58behind with a golden Gatsuga fired from
26:01inside his body. This cuts Yuhabak in
26:03half and then the Almighty does what it
26:05does as it rewrites the future in which
26:07he dies. Yuak reforms from a puddle of
26:10eyes. He severs Eizen's arm mids
26:13sentence while he's speaking to Ichigo
26:15and he swallows him into darkness. We
26:17cut to the ending song and after it we
26:19have a 4 and 1/2 minute entirely new
26:22postredit scene. Yubach splits into
26:24[music] three and domes of darkness
26:26aligned with countless eyes that seal
26:28off Kakura towno and the serate at the
26:31same time. In Carakura Town, Yuki and
26:34Shino, the pair from episode 44's
26:36postredit scene, are the first to stand
26:38up to Yuhob before Shuni, Byaka,
26:41Hitsugaya, and Soyon arrive with Shuni
26:43declaring that anyone who falls behind
26:45is committing a capital offense. In Hong
26:48Kong window, Hadibel and Nell are joined
26:50by Grimja, who announces that he'll be
26:52killing Yuhob before he kills Ichigo. In
26:54the Serete, Udyu pulls Ichigo out of the
26:57darkness, and he hands him back Tensu,
27:00and he apologizes for the weight. Now, a
27:02three-front war against Yuhabak is going
27:05to occur across the three realms as we
27:07have an allnew finale to the
27:09Thousand-Year Blood War arc anime that
27:11will be unfolding across episodes 49 and
27:1450. So, why on earth did this episode in
27:16particular get so review bombed on IMDb.
27:19It debuted at around 8.4, the current
27:22lowest rating for Car 4, and it slid
27:25down to 8.1 ever since. People are upset
27:28due to the expectation of wanting anime
27:31original content for Sasuke Eizen. This
27:33was after we had tons of new material
27:36for Ichigo, Orihime Uru, and Ukitake.
27:39People really wanted an expansion for
27:41Eizen's role within the story. But when
27:43it was delivered one to one from the
27:45manga and combine this with episode 48
27:47having average animation, nothing
27:49exceptional like episode 45, then you
27:52can see how things easily blew out of
27:54proportion with people sending death
27:56threats to animators all because their
27:57expectation of Eizen revealing his
27:59bunkai within episode 48 wasn't met. I
28:02still think there's time for Eizen to
28:04play a bit more of a role within the
28:05story in the last two episodes. And in
28:08hindsight, after watching episode 48
28:10back, I don't think it was as bad as the
28:12backlash made it out to be online. In
28:14general, people just don't like setup
28:16episodes. They just want balls to the
28:18walls all of the time. But in order for
28:20those major episodes to pay off, we do
28:22need episodes that set things up.
28:24Episode 49 will release on the 19th of
28:26October with the final episode of Call 4
28:29releasing on the 26th of October. The
28:31anime staff have requested for a one-mon
28:33delay in order to improve the quality of
28:35the finale. In terms of content that's
28:37left, we have roughly 44 pages worth of
28:40manga material left to adapt into these
28:42last two episodes. I'm predicting that
28:44episode 49 will feature 90% worth of
28:47anime original content as then the
28:49second half of chapter 684 will be
28:52adapted all the way up until your defeat
28:55and episode 50 will adapt chapters 685
28:58and 686 where we see the 10-year epilog
29:01of the Bleach manga. Weekly Shona Jump
29:03confirmed just this week that the
29:05casting of Kazui Kurasaki has been
29:08confirmed and he will be voiced by Azuza
29:10Tachibana and Ichka Aarai will be voiced
29:13by Ayaka Ohashi. In terms of coff so
29:16far, I genuinely think episodes 45, 47,
29:19and 43 are top tier with 45 clear as the
29:23best episode of the season. Episode 41,
29:2542, and 44 sit in the middle range with
29:28episodes 46 and 48 maybe being some of
29:31the weaker episodes of the call. There's
29:33definitely a lot to look forward to, and
29:35I have made a video on the channel where
