Watch Host’s Face As Melanie Philips Reveals Undeniable Proof Palestine Is All A LIE! — Transcript

- 0:00Melanie Phillips is a brilliant
- 0:01journalist and writer who has a such a
- 0:04good ability to just puncture lies with
- 0:07simple clear statements of facts and
- 0:09truth. Here she is on the trigonometry
- 0:11podcast where she explains the history
- 0:13of Israel and the Palestinian quote
- 0:15unquote cause. She explains what happens
- 0:17in simple terms to Constantin and his
- 0:20other uh co-hosts who uh were at the
- 0:24time uh a little bit oblivious to some
- 0:26of the truths around the conflict in
- 0:29this sense that for those who say well
- 0:30Israel's just created because of the
- 0:32Holocaust and they displaced the people
- 0:34because of the Holocaust. Here she put
- 0:36puts that to bed. If you want to get
- 0:37clued up on what actually happened, you
- 0:39need to watch this clip. Have a watch.
- 0:42The fundamental narrative about Israel
- 0:44essentially is that as a compensation
- 0:47for the Holocaust, the Jews were given a
- 0:50piece of someone else's land in the
- 0:51Middle East where they've settled and
- 0:54now there is a battle over that piece of
- 0:56land because of that original sin if you
- 0:59like which is uh a viewpoint that
- 1:02frankly up until I started listening to
- 1:04some of your your talks was unshakable
- 1:07in my understanding. Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:10because I don't know. I honestly don't
- 1:11know
- 1:12>> that's the default narrative.
- 1:14>> Yeah.
- 1:15>> So is in what way is that not the case,
- 1:18Melanie?
- 1:19>> Every single thing that you've just said
- 1:20is untrue.
- 1:21>> Mhm. most of your conversations.
- 1:24>> That'll make him happy for
- 1:25>> um obviously is a big subject, but um
- 1:28the idea that um the Jews had no
- 1:33connection to the land of Israel until
- 1:36um a guiltridden west uh took them out
- 1:39as a remnant of the Holocaust and stuck
- 1:42them into someone else's country is uh
- 1:45the opposite of the truth.
- 1:47>> So what is the truth? The Jews are the
- 1:49only people for whom the land of Israel
- 1:51was ever their national kingdom.
- 1:54Hundreds and hundreds of years before
- 1:56Islam was even invented and before the
- 1:59Arabs invaded. Um the Jews uh were the
- 2:02original nation, the original nation
- 2:05upon which America and Britain in a kind
- 2:08of mystical fashion in Britain modeled
- 2:11themselves. Why do I say that? They were
- 2:14a nation because they were a people
- 2:17uh in a particular area of land which
- 2:19they governed according to laws they
- 2:22made and which they defended.
- 2:25Now um they were uh a nation for several
- 2:31hundred years under various kings. Um
- 2:34and then uh they were uh basically
- 2:38kicked out and they they returned then
- 2:41kicked out again. Um and then the that
- 2:43land of Israel was occupied by vast
- 2:46numbers of different civilizations.
- 2:49um the Romans,
- 2:52uh uh the Assyrians, um uh uh the uh
- 2:57Arabs, uh various various sorts of
- 3:00Muslims, um Christians, crusaders,
- 3:03um and for a long period the Ottoman
- 3:06Turks who were Muslim but not Arab. Um
- 3:10and then we get to the turn of the last
- 3:12century and there grew up in Britain as
- 3:16a result of mainly as a result of
- 3:18evangelical Christianity a movement to
- 3:21return the Jews to their ancestral
- 3:23homeland. Um and these people were
- 3:25called Christian Zionists and the kind
- 3:27of apogee of Christian Zionism in
- 3:29political terms was the Balfa
- 3:31declaration in 1917 was a cabinet which
- 3:34was dominated by Christian Zionists and
- 3:37they believed that it was um uh their
- 3:40duty to help the Jews return to restore
- 3:44their ancient homeland. Um long story
- 3:48short, as you will know, after the first
- 3:50world war, the entire Middle East was
- 3:52carved up between Britain and France. Um
- 3:56uh which, you know, itself was a
- 3:58questionable uh activity and they
- 4:00created
- 4:00>> those straight lines on the map.
- 4:02>> Well, well, yes, slightly more
- 4:05complicated and straight lines anyway.
- 4:07So you know some of these uh countries
- 4:09that they created you know you can say
- 4:10that's very questionable but basically
- 4:13the precursor of the United Nations
- 4:15which was then the League of Nations in
- 4:18the 1920s decided that um as a matter of
- 4:22international treaty obligation
- 4:24>> um Britain would be given custodianship
- 4:27of what was then called Palestine, a
- 4:29name given to it insultingly by the
- 4:31Romans in order to erase its Jewish
- 4:35identity.
- 4:36um the British will be given c
- 4:38custodianship of Palestine called the
- 4:39mandate under which Britain would be
- 4:42under a binding treaty obligation
- 4:45to return the Jews to their ancestral
- 4:47homeland to recreate it. Now what was
- 4:49Palestine at the time? Well, bit of it,
- 4:53a very large chunk of it was promptly
- 4:56given away to the Arabs by Winston
- 4:58Churchill to become Trans Jordan, which
- 5:01is now Jordan. So what did that leave as
- 5:04the territory within which Britain had a
- 5:07binding duty undertaken by the world
- 5:10body of the time to return the Jews as a
- 5:13matter of historic right. What was that
- 5:15territory? It is what is now Israel,
- 5:18what is called the West Bank and Gaza.
- 5:21That is a territory to which the Jews
- 5:24alone were given the right to return
- 5:27because they alone had ruled it.
- 5:31terms which have never been abregated.
- 5:33Even though the League of Nations is no
- 5:35more, it gave rise to the United
- 5:37Nations. But the United Nations took on
- 5:40in its charter, it took on all the
- 5:42obligations of its predecessor unless
- 5:44they were specifically abrogated. Those
- 5:47terms had never been abregated. So what
- 5:50then happened was although the Arabs at
- 5:52the time around 1917 1918
- 5:55uh King Fisizel notably and one or two
- 5:58others they said welcome we welcome back
- 6:01the Jews to their ancestral homeland.
- 6:02They used this term because it was in in
- 6:04their own religion they knew this was a
- 6:06Jewish homeland and then a lot of stuff
- 6:09happened.
- 6:11basically the British having undertaken
- 6:14in the first place uh this duty to
- 6:17settle the Jews in their ancestral
- 6:20homeland. Um the Jew the the the Brit
- 6:23the British colonial uh office at the
- 6:25time and the colonial administrators who
- 6:27were put into um uh Palestine to
- 6:31administer this mandate did everything
- 6:33they could to stop it and they among
- 6:36other things brought in a an Islamic
- 6:39fire brand. This was at the time when
- 6:41Islamism as we know it, political Islam
- 6:44was growing. It was sort of invented
- 6:46after the first world war. And they
- 6:49brought in the British brought in a
- 6:51particular Islamic fire brand called
- 6:54Hamin Al- Husseini as the Grand Mui of
- 6:57Jerusalem.
- 6:58And he incited he was brought in to
- 7:01incite revolt. And he did. There were
- 7:03then poggrams after poggrams after
- 7:06poggrams of the returning Jews. Um, and
- 7:12the thing then blew up into a sort of
- 7:15three-sided war, Jews and Arabs and
- 7:18British or basically at various times
- 7:20all fighting each other. Scroll on. Um,
- 7:23the British threw in the towel, gave it
- 7:25over to the United Nations. The United
- 7:27Nations, Britain had Britain by this
- 7:30time had reneged on its obligation to
- 7:32settle the Jews in the land. Britain had
- 7:34decided the only way to solve this was
- 7:36to give a portion of this land to the
- 7:39Arabs in order to shut them up and stop
- 7:41them from fighting. And in accordance
- 7:44with that, the British closed the gates
- 7:46of Palestine at the time when the Jews
- 7:50were starting to be exterminated in
- 7:52Europe.
- 7:54That's what happened. And then the
- 7:56United Nations took over. The war
- 7:57finished. The United Nations took over.
- 8:00United Nations said just like Britain
- 8:01had said, "Right, two states, two-state
- 8:03solution. One for Jews, one for the
- 8:06Arabs." And just as with every occasion
- 8:09since then, the Jews said, "What? You're
- 8:12going to take this away from us? Fine.
- 8:15Fine. Give us anything. Anything because
- 8:18we're desperate." And the Arabs said,
- 8:19"What? Jews here? Never." and they
- 8:24invaded
- 8:26uh or they went to war against the
- 8:28Jewish homeland. There was a what's
- 8:30called the war of independence which
- 8:32amazingly the Jews won against all the
- 8:35odds. Subsequently, there have been I
- 8:37forgotten how many two, three, four
- 8:40offers of a state of Palestine to the
- 8:43Arabs which have been made by Israel. At
- 8:47every occasion, the Arabs have refused
- 8:49and have gone to war or have stepped up
- 8:52terrorist activity against Israelis.
- 8:56>> Now, before we go any further into that
- 8:58part of it, I just want to come back to
- 8:59this homeland idea. this idea that many
- 9:02many centuries ago a certain if we strip
- 9:04away their identities and we just go
- 9:06many many moons ago a certain group of
- 9:08people had a kingdom in this area and
- 9:10after that there have been 10
- 9:12civilizations or 15 civilizations that
- 9:14have come and lived in this land and now
- 9:16for some reason it's it's kind of me
- 9:19isn't it a bit like me going well I used
- 9:21to you know I grew up in this flat in
- 9:23Moscow
- 9:24>> and now I want to be resettled there and
- 9:27all the neighbors have agreed to kick
- 9:28out
- 9:29>> that guy who lives there out and put me
- 9:31in that flat instead. Is it not bit like
- 9:33that?
- 9:33>> Well, well, no, it's not like that.
- 9:35First of all, the Jews never left the
- 9:36land. They were always coming back to
- 9:39it.
- 9:40>> Um, even under occupation, there was
- 9:42always a Jewish presence in the land.
- 9:44And from the mid 19th century onwards,
- 9:47there was a Jewish majority in
- 9:48Jerusalem.
- 9:50Um, that's the first thing. The second
- 9:51thing was that the land at the time of
- 9:54the mandate was very sparsely populated.
- 9:57The people who were there were mainly
- 10:00nomadic Arabs but they didn't have an
- 10:03identity. They were they considered
- 10:06themselves to be part of Syria which was
- 10:09created um or Bedwin. They were they
- 10:12there was no such thing as Palestinians.
- 10:14Palestinians were the Jews. Um
- 10:16>> but there were people who lived there.
- 10:18>> There were people who lived there. Yes.
- 10:19And then because the Jews started coming
- 10:21back, um Arabs started Arabs and others
- 10:24started pouring in from neighboring Arab
- 10:27lands and the British uh then liter let
- 10:31them come in even though they were many
- 10:34of them illegal immigrants. They let
- 10:36them come in because they wanted to stop
- 10:38the Jewish homeland. So it's not a
- 10:41question of kicking people out. M
- 10:43>> um it's a it's it's and it's it's not a
- 10:46question of you know people who had some
- 10:48sort of mystical attachment to some
- 10:51country. You're talking about the Jewish
- 10:53people who have been persecuted in
- 10:55virtually every country in which they've
- 10:57settled. No country ever's ever wanted
- 10:59them apart from India and China which
- 11:02have never had a problem with their
- 11:03Jewish populations. But in Europe
- 11:06>> no way nobody wanted them. Um and it was
- 11:10in respect of that as well as the fact
- 11:12that um uh they were the original nation
- 11:16and have always wanted to go back. Um
- 11:19that um they were considered to have the
- 11:22right to go back. Um so
- 11:25>> so is this kind of perpetual persecution
- 11:29what I I'm just trying to get this
- 11:31logically clear. ual persecution
- 11:32>> of Jews in Europe. Is that what uniquely
- 11:36in the history of humanity gives Jews
- 11:39the right to resettle a land in which
- 11:40they didn't have that much of a
- 11:42presence?
- 11:42>> No, it was their country
- 11:44>> but a long time ago.
- 11:46>> Oh, okay. So, why do people think that
- 11:49if they think that it was the
- 11:50Palestinians country a long time ago,
- 11:52that's that means that they should have
- 11:54it.
- 11:55>> But they were living there in the 19th
- 11:56century.
- 11:57>> But they weren't. There was no such
- 11:58thing as the Palestinians. M
- 12:00>> there was no such thing as the
- 12:01Palestinian people. There was no
- 12:03Palestinian people until it was invented
- 12:04in the mid1 1960s.
- 12:06>> Well, there was these nomadic Arabs who
- 12:08lived there.
- 12:08>> Yeah. But they didn't want a country of
- 12:09their own.
- 12:11>> The Jews were a nation. They had a
- 12:13country of their own.
- 12:14>> And it was taken away from them and then
- 12:16they were persecuted around the world
- 12:18>> and so it seemed only decent and fair
- 12:20that they should have it back.
- 12:22>> And a lot of people at the time thought
- 12:24that was absolutely fine. But it was
- 12:27there was a a resistance whipped up
- 12:29which was basically a religious
- 12:31resistance in my view. Um and remains
- 12:34basically a religious resistance um
- 12:36because if you look at the Arab world uh
- 12:39the Muslim world unfortunately and you
- 12:41look at the Palestinian Arabs and what
- 12:43they are producing uh day by day in
- 12:46terms of what they teach their children
- 12:48and the materials they put out. It's
- 12:51it's not it's not really accurate just
- 12:53to say it's anti-Israel, which indeed it
- 12:56is. Um, and it's it's certainly the case
- 12:59that they want, in my view. Um, I think
- 13:01this is proven by what they say and what
- 13:04they do and their insignia in their
- 13:06flags and their materials. They want
- 13:08Israel gone. They don't want two states.
- 13:09They want Israel gone. But it's much
- 13:11worse than that. What they're producing
- 13:13day by day is is anti-Jewish venom.
- 13:18um crude conspiratorial
- 13:22Jews are uniquely
- 13:24the source of evil in the world. That's
- 13:27what they're producing. That's what
- 13:28they're teaching their children uh to
- 13:30hate. And
- 13:34people in the west just have no idea of
- 13:36this because it is never ever reported.
- 13:40And so I got into a lot of difficulty
- 13:42because um
- 13:45uh until the year 2000 I'd never been to
- 13:48Israel, never wanted to go. I thought as
- 13:50a British Jew I was you know it was it
- 13:52was it was great. It was fine. It
- 13:53nothing to do with me and I'd bought
- 13:56into quite a lot of the stuff that you
- 13:58know we've been talking about because
- 14:00you know if if you don't know about the
- 14:02Middle East why would you think any any
- 14:04different? Um and um
- 14:10uh
- 14:12in in in 1982 when I was at the Guardian
- 14:17um I was brought up very sharply against
- 14:21the fact that as a British Jew um I
- 14:24spoke as a matter of fairness about why
- 14:27there seemed to be a double standard in
- 14:29the reporting of Israel at that time as
- 14:32opposed to reporting of Syria. Syria at
- 14:34that time um had murdered or caused to
- 14:38be killed um between 15 and 40,000
- 14:42opponents of President Assad, the father
- 14:45of the president Assad.
- 14:47>> And it was virtually not reported at the
- 14:49garden. It was a few paragraphs. It was
- 14:50it was nothing. Whereas Israel was at
- 14:53war in the Lebanon and it was a front
- 14:55page story every day. It was furious
- 14:57editorials. It was outrageous. And I
- 15:00said, "Why is there a double standard?"
- 15:02And that's when I realized the racism of
- 15:05the left because I was told um of course
- 15:09there's a double standard. You don't
- 15:10expect us to
- 15:13uh um uh treat the developing world like
- 15:18us. The developing world is not brought
- 15:20up as we are to respect human life.
- 15:23Consequently, we can't judge them by our
- 15:24standards. That's racism. And I went,
- 15:28"What?" So, let me get this right. If
- 15:31someone's born into the developing
- 15:34world, they're not entitled to the same
- 15:37rights to life and liberty as we are.
- 15:40Isn't that racism? And they said, "Why
- 15:43are you so upset?
- 15:45We do you the great honor I became you."
- 15:49>> Mhm.
- 15:50>> Like that you we do you the great honor
- 15:53of assuming that you and Israel and I
- 15:55became Israel. Mhm.
- 15:57>> Um
- 15:58that you in Israel uh adhere to the same
- 16:01principles as we do, respect for human
- 16:04life. So we judge you by our standards.
- 16:08And what's more, you tell us that you
- 16:10are morally superior to us. So we should
- 16:13judge you by higher standards. And
- 16:16that's when I realized the anti-semitism
- 16:18of the left and the racism of the left.
- 16:20And that's when I first realized that my
- 16:24naive belief that we were all marching
- 16:26to the same tude behind the same banner
- 16:29of decency was not the case. They were
- 16:32on the other side. And then I didn't do
- 16:35any more stuff about any of that for a
- 16:37long time. And then in the year 2000
- 16:39when the inifard started, second inifard
- 16:41as it was called, something very similar
- 16:44happened. Israelis are being blown to
- 16:45bits in pizza parlors and cafes and um
- 16:50in bomb buses in Israel and um you know
- 16:56several thousand were murdered and from
- 16:59the get-go in Britain um Israel was
- 17:03totally condemned for taking connection
- 17:06to stop it and as a matter of justice
- 17:09and fairness I said what is this? why
- 17:13are you behaving like this? And
- 17:14everybody went, "Oh, she's a Jew.
- 17:18She's not properly British."
- 17:21And that was when I realized as a
- 17:23British Jew, you could not support the
- 17:24Jewish people as a people. Not allowed.
- 17:28Um, and that's when I realized something
- 17:29was very, very badly wrong uh with
- 17:32Britain's attitude to Jews, not just to
- 17:34Israel, but to Jews. And that but that
- 17:35the two were bound up together. uh
- 17:38because Israel was being presented not
- 17:40least by the BBC as basically the
- 17:41fountain of all evil in the Middle East.
- 17:43It was an aggressive country. It behaved
- 17:46illegally. All of this in my view as I
- 17:48came to believe over many years
- 17:51subsequently. All of it was a lie. But
- 17:54that's what everyone was told. And so
- 17:56consequently, if you were a Jew standing
- 17:58up for all this, then of course you were
- 18:00also evil. Of course you were.
- 18:02And this was a shattering really
- 18:05shattering set of developments for me.
- 18:08And eventually kind of long story short
- 18:11or shorter, I came to put all that
- 18:13together with all the other stuff we're
- 18:14talking about. All the other stuff we're
- 18:16talking about because it's all to do
- 18:18with, as you said, Constantine, truth
- 18:20and lies
- 18:21>> is basically what it's about. When you
- 18:23pair it all down, people are telling
- 18:26themselves lies about reality. They're
- 18:30living in a world of fantasy which they
- 18:32purport they they they they they want us
- 18:35to believe is the reality. They tell
- 18:37lies about other people and that they
- 18:39don't realize that they're lies because
- 18:41there's no such thing as a lie anymore.
- 18:42There's no such thing as truth.
- 18:43Everything is a matter of opinion.
- 18:45Everything is a matter of opinion. So
- 18:46there you go. Melanie Phillips thinks
- 18:48the truth doesn't really count for much
- 18:49these days. And frankly, it seems that
- 18:51that is the case with many people. But
- 18:53let me say clearly on this channel and
- 18:56with anyone who actually cares about
- 18:58understanding the objective truth, we
- 19:00will continue to state the truth clearly
- 19:02and firmly. And uh what's interesting to
- 19:05note is that as Melanie identified,
- 19:07whichever way you look at it, Israel has
- 19:10the strongest case for being there.
- 19:14Number one, historically their
- 19:17connection to this land predates
- 19:19Christianity, Islam, uh really any other
- 19:23ancient nation that is around today. No
- 19:26people has a stronger connection to
- 19:28their lands than uh Israel and the Jews.
- 19:30And then for those that say, "Okay, but
- 19:31you can't just uproot people who came
- 19:33later to make way for the indigenous
- 19:36population."
- 19:37Well, that brings brings us to the next
- 19:39point about the legal rights.
- 19:42The Jews didn't come and displace all
- 19:44the Arabs. It's a great myth that the
- 19:46Palestinian side has managed to
- 19:48fabricate. No, Jews started returning
- 19:50there through legal purchases of land
- 19:52from the 19th century onwards. They
- 19:54always maintained a presence there but
- 19:55started returning on mass to come back
- 19:56to their homeland escaping persecution.
- 19:59Um and uh they purchased land legally
- 20:04and then in 1947 the UN says right let's
- 20:07partition the land. There was already,
- 20:09by the way, international law from the
- 20:11League of Nations and the San Remo
- 20:12Conference, which gave the Jews the
- 20:14right to the entirety of the land. But
- 20:16anyway, the UN said, "Let's propose
- 20:18partitioning the land into two states
- 20:20because there are Arabs and Jews living
- 20:22here." Again, no displacement has
- 20:23occurred yet. The Arab side says, "No,
- 20:26we're not accepting a Jewish state, a
- 20:27reestablishment of Jewish sovereignty.
- 20:29We want it all." And for those that say,
- 20:31"Well, they're entitled to a state." Had
- 20:34the Arabs won in 1948, all the other
- 20:37surrounding Arab countries would just
- 20:38take a chunk of the land. There would be
- 20:40no Arab state, which knows they don't
- 20:42really care about that. It was about the
- 20:43Jews returning. And uh they lose. And in
- 20:48the war that they try to throw all the
- 20:50Jews into the sea in, uh they get
- 20:53displaced because that's what happens
- 20:55when you start a war and you try to
- 20:57destroy the other side and you lose.
- 21:00Don't make that the Jews fault. Don't
- 21:01make that Israel's fault.
- 21:03By the way, much of the displacement
- 21:05occurred simply because the Arab armies
- 21:06told the Arabs to leave. The proof of
- 21:09that is that some Arab communities that
- 21:12stayed that weren't the central places
- 21:15of fighting, they became Israeli Arabs.
- 21:17They became Arab citizens, proving
- 21:18Israel wasn't on an ethnic cleansing
- 21:20mission. So, you look at it from a legal
- 21:22standpoint, a historical standpoint,
- 21:26certainly from a self-determination
- 21:27standpoint. I mean, goodness me, the
- 21:29Jews have been the most persecuted
- 21:31people in history. They're the only
- 21:35people I can think of who have faced a
- 21:37consistent and intense level of
- 21:39exterminationist
- 21:41hatred that doesn't just hate you and
- 21:43persecute and and and enslave you, but
- 21:45actually wants to exterminate you. So,
- 21:49goodness me, if any people deserves a
- 21:51safe haven, it's the Jews. And uh
- 21:56lastly, biblically as well, so much of
- 21:59the world acknowledges the Bible as the
- 22:00word of God. So what does the Bible say
- 22:03about the relationship between the
- 22:05nation of Israel and the land of Israel?
- 22:09And you know, interestingly enough, um
- 22:13the day of October 7th, on that day,
- 22:16Jews began restarting their annual
- 22:19reading of the Torah. They went all the
- 22:21way back to the beginning.
- 22:23And uh I don't think it's by chance or
- 22:26coincidence that on the day in which all
- 22:28the issues that we're discussing erupted
- 22:30into global consciousness in a way that
- 22:32we haven't really seen before about
- 22:34Israel and its right or no right to the
- 22:37land depending on which side of the
- 22:39argument you're on. We read on that day
- 22:41Genesis. In the beginning, God created
- 22:43the heavens and the earth. And the most
- 22:45famous Torah commentator of all, ask any
- 22:47learner Jew, they'll tell you, "Well, of
- 22:48course it's Rushy." He was a rabbi that
- 22:51lived in medieval France.
- 22:54And he writes and comments on the
- 22:55entirety of the Torah. And uh his first
- 22:58comment is why did God begin with the
- 23:01Torah? Why did he begin with in the
- 23:04beginning God created the heaven and the
- 23:05earth? Why doesn't God start with the
- 23:06first commandment? Ultimately, this is a
- 23:08book of commandments of of God's
- 23:10instructions for mankind. Why do we need
- 23:12a history lesson?
- 23:14Interesting question. And many answers
- 23:16can be given. But you know what answer
- 23:17Rashi gives? He says, "Because the
- 23:20nations of the world will accuse the
- 23:22Jews of being foreign occupiers of the
- 23:26land of Israel, of stealing the land, of
- 23:28colonizing it through no right, through
- 23:31no just cause."
- 23:33And the nation of Israel will respond by
- 23:36declaring, "The God of heaven and earth,
- 23:39the God who created heaven and earth,
- 23:42assigned this land to us." So if the God
- 23:45of Israel assigned to the nation of
- 23:47Israel, the land of Israel, who are you
- 23:48to argue?
- 23:51Fascinating.
- 23:53What it's telling us is that all the
- 23:56arguments, well, they would work for
- 23:57other nations, indigenous claim,
- 24:01historical, legal.
- 24:05Israel is not a nation like other
- 24:07nations. And therefore, trying to
- 24:08justify itself through natural means is
- 24:11not going to cut it.
- 24:15The reason why anti-semitism has existed
- 24:17for thousands of years and it's been
- 24:19exterminationist in nature unlike other
- 24:21prejudices is because it's a push back
- 24:23against God's destiny for the Jews which
- 24:26is for them to bridge the gap between
- 24:28heaven and earth for God to become
- 24:29present on earth. And anti-semitism is a
- 24:32hostility to that mission whether
- 24:34consciously or subconsciously
- 24:36I believe it was probably conscious in
- 24:37the case of someone like Adolf Hitler.
- 24:40How else do you explain his
- 24:43obsession with getting rid of the Jews?
- 24:45There's lots of evidence and quotes that
- 24:46he said to back that up.
- 24:48But the point is that anti-semitism is
- 24:52the part of the psyche of humanity that
- 24:55says, "Let heaven stay in heaven and let
- 24:57earth be earth." Jews, you want to bring
- 25:01God down to earth, go back to heaven
- 25:03where you belong.
- 25:07And so because the Jews have this divine
- 25:08mission, they can't escape it. And it's
- 25:11going to have to be those who are style
- 25:12that are going to have to have a a
- 25:14reconciling of that. But it's only when
- 25:15the Jews explain and fully actualize and
- 25:18come into their role and embody that
- 25:20role
- 25:22that uh their mission will fully be
- 25:25actualized.
- 25:26And so there's no use trying to hide
- 25:28away from it. Only by fully coming into
- 25:30that will they
- 25:32channel the source of their power.
- 25:35And that's why the nations won't accept
- 25:37a natural argument
- 25:40for why the Jews have the right to their
- 25:42land. The only thing that will ever work
- 25:44will be what their mission is all about,
- 25:46which is that we are in this land and we
- 25:49have the right to this land because God
- 25:52said so.
- 25:55I think this is completely essential to
- 25:58understanding what we need to do moving
- 26:00forward. I think it's no accident that's
- 26:02what Rashi said. And by the way, this
- 26:05actually is what I think is going to
- 26:08work in a Muslim Arab world where they
- 26:10honor and and respect uh God and and
- 26:14religiosity far more than they do
- 26:16secular, international, western or
- 26:17democratic
- 26:19rules of engagement or law or
- 26:20justification.
- 26:23So this isn't this isn't irrational.
- 26:26This actually, I believe, holds the key.
- 26:29And uh as I said yesterday on a a video
- 26:34I did about Tishab, which was the the
- 26:36day of mourning in the Jewish calendar,
- 26:39we learned that the reason for the
- 26:40destruction of the temple, one of the
- 26:43reasons was uh something that happened
- 26:45with King Hezekiah. He was a a king of
- 26:48Israel who was a great righteous man and
- 26:51he managed to reinate the temple that
- 26:54had been defiled. The nation of Israel
- 26:56had gone astray and was worshiping
- 26:59idols. He managed to reconnect them to
- 27:00the temple, to God. He managed to
- 27:02reunite the the people in the north, the
- 27:06Jews in the north and his kingdom in the
- 27:08south. He did so much to restore their
- 27:12connection to their national the Jewish
- 27:14national mission.
- 27:17So much so that when the army of Assyria
- 27:20came to conquer the gates of Jerusalem,
- 27:22he prayed to God and God made a miracle
- 27:25occur where the over 100,000 troops all
- 27:30died in the middle of the night while
- 27:31camping outside Jerusalem.
- 27:34And then we learn that Babylonians came,
- 27:37delegates from Babylon to understand
- 27:39what was this great miracle that
- 27:41occurred. And King Hezekiah, what does
- 27:43he do? He instead of trying to instead
- 27:47of explaining to them this was a miracle
- 27:48of God that God is has a a divine co you
- 27:52know a special covenant with the nation
- 27:54of Israel instead
- 27:56he plays a game of real politique he
- 27:59shows them around his palace all his
- 28:00gold and silver tries to impress them
- 28:03through natural means he enters the the
- 28:06realm of geopolitics
- 28:08so the Babylonians these delegates were
- 28:10genuinely curious to know what what
- 28:12happened here what's going on should we
- 28:14fear this nation of Israel? Should we uh
- 28:17uh how should we understand them? He had
- 28:19an opportunity
- 28:21to explain that Israel has a divine
- 28:23mission and explain Israel's divine
- 28:25destiny. And the sages of the town would
- 28:27say that had he done the right thing and
- 28:29said that he could have become the
- 28:31Messiah because he would have fulfilled
- 28:32that final concentric circle of Israel's
- 28:36uh mission which is not just to serve
- 28:38God as a nation but to be a light to the
- 28:40world light to the nations but instead
- 28:43he uh went back to playing this game of
- 28:44raal politique and Isaiah said to him
- 28:46after this he said because of what you
- 28:48did here the consequence not the
- 28:50punishment but the consequence will be
- 28:52that the Babylonians will destroy the
- 28:54temple and exile your people. What was
- 28:56he saying? He's saying that if if you
- 28:59want them to see you like a nation as
- 29:00all others, then they'll trample over
- 29:02you in in a world of empires and
- 29:04regional powers. The kingdom of Judah
- 29:06doesn't stand a chance there. But if
- 29:08they see you as different, you're not to
- 29:10be messed with because you're God's
- 29:11nation, because of your divine role,
- 29:13they'll treat you very differently. And
- 29:15so that is so clearly a lesson that we
- 29:17all have for today as a nation of
- 29:19Israel. We have to stop justifying
- 29:21ourselves and explaining ourselves
- 29:22through natural means and explaining why
- 29:24international law and all this stuff
- 29:26justifies our existence. I believe if we
- 29:29speak in a divine tone, if we explain
- 29:32who we are, not through natural means,
- 29:34but for through supernatural
- 29:36reasons, I think the world will actually
- 29:39have a lot more time for us. And it may
- 29:41well hold the key to transforming
- 29:43Israel's global isolation into honor and
- 29:46praise. The Islamic Republic of Iran.
- 29:49For over four decades, its leaders have
- 29:51stood defiantly, their voices thundering
- 29:54through Tehran's streets, chanting death
- 29:56to Israel and waging a relentless war on
- 29:59the West. But what fuels this fierce,
- 30:02unyielding hatred? Is it politics, a
- 30:04grab for regional power, or something
- 30:07even more profound? A theology that
- 30:09casts Israel and the West as cosmic
- 30:12enemies in a divine battle for the end
- 30:15of days? In this JTV Plus documentary,
- 30:18we embark on a journey to unravel the
- 30:21apocalyptic beliefs at the core of
- 30:23Iran's revolution. We'll uncover the
- 30:25sacred Shia doctrines that prophecy a
- 30:27world reborn through chaos, where a
- 30:30hidden redeemer, the Mai, will rise to
- 30:32vanquish evil with Israel and America as
- 30:35the ultimate foes. We'll dive deep into
- 30:38the mystical visions of a global Islamic
- 30:40order where martyrdom and jihad paved
- 30:43the path to divine victory. We'll
- 30:45explore how these ancient beliefs shape
- 30:47Iran's every move. From its fiery
- 30:49rhetoric to its deadly proxy wars. From
- 30:52the revolutionary sermons of Ayatala
- 30:54Kmeni who ignited a nation to the shadow
- 30:56wars of spies, cyber attacks, and
- 30:59missiles that have pushed the region to
- 31:01the brink. We'll trace the arc of a
- 31:03regime bent on reshaping history. And
- 31:05we'll reveal the climactic moment when
- 31:07Israel struck back with Operation Rising
- 31:09Lion. A daring, highstakes operation
- 31:13that shook the world and redefine the
- 31:15conflict. This is not just a story of a
- 31:17nation, but of a creed that seeks to
- 31:19rewrite the future. A conflict that
- 31:21threatens to engulf us all. Join us as
