Watch God Move — Speak This ONE Sentence Every Morning | E.W. Kenyon 2 — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Before your feet touch the floor
- 0:01tomorrow morning, speak this one
- 0:04sentence out loud.
- 0:06E.W. Kenyon called it the most
- 0:07revolutionary confession ever taught,
- 0:10and within 30 days, you will understand
- 0:13why heaven responds the moment it leaves
- 0:15your lips.
- 0:17And before we go any further into this
- 0:19teaching, I want to ask you to do
- 0:21something right now.
- 0:22Drop a comment below. Tell me where you
- 0:25are watching from, what you are
- 0:26believing God for, and what that one
- 0:29confession means to you. Because when
- 0:31faith-filled believers come together
- 0:33under a word like this, something moves
- 0:36in the spirit. Your declaration in that
- 0:38comment section is an act of agreement,
- 0:41and agreement with truth always produces
- 0:44results.
- 0:45Now, let us get into this revelation,
- 0:48because what I am about to share with
- 0:49you is not a motivational strategy. It
- 0:52is not a positive thinking technique
- 0:54borrowed from the world. It is not a
- 0:56self-help formula dressed in religious
- 0:59language.
- 1:00What E.W.
- 1:02Kenyon discovered and preached with
- 1:04relentless conviction is a hidden truth
- 1:06about the nature of words, the nature of
- 1:09the new creation, and the legal
- 1:11structure of the covenant that most
- 1:13believers have never fully understood.
- 1:16And once you see it, once the revelation
- 1:18breaks through, you will never begin
- 1:21another morning the same way again.
- 1:24Here is the sentence. Say it out loud
- 1:26before we continue.
- 1:28I am what God says I am.
- 1:31I have what God says I have.
- 1:34I can do what God says I can do.
- 1:38Now, I know what some of you just
- 1:39thought. That is three sentences.
- 1:43But Kenyon taught that they are not
- 1:44three separate ideas. They are three
- 1:47dimensions of one unshakable reality.
- 1:50Identity, inheritance, authority.
- 1:54Together, they form the single most
- 1:57comprehensive confession a believer can
- 1:59make. And Kenyon said that if you would
- 2:01speak those words every morning with
- 2:04understanding, with deliberate faith,
- 2:07and with covenant consciousness, your
- 2:09life would be transformed in ways that
- 2:11no amount of prayer, fasting, or church
- 2:14attendance could accomplish alone.
- 2:17Not because the words are magical,
- 2:19but because these words align the human
- 2:21spirit with the legal reality of
- 2:23redemption.
- 2:25Let us start at the beginning because to
- 2:27understand why this confession carries
- 2:29such force, you must understand what
- 2:32confession actually is.
- 2:35Confession is not positive thinking.
- 2:38Confession is not repeating affirmations
- 2:40in the hope that you might convince
- 2:41yourself.
- 2:43Confession, in the scriptural sense, is
- 2:45saying what God has already said.
- 2:48It is witnessing to the truth.
- 2:51It is agreeing out loud with the verdict
- 2:53of heaven.
- 2:54Romans 10:9 and 10 make the foundation
- 2:58clear.
- 2:59If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
- 3:01Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine
- 3:03heart that God hath raised him from the
- 3:06dead, thou shalt be saved.
- 3:09For with the heart man believeth unto
- 3:11righteousness, and with the mouth
- 3:13confession is made unto salvation.
- 3:16Notice what Paul does not say.
- 3:19He does not say confession is made unto
- 3:21hope.
- 3:22He does not say confession is made unto
- 3:25possibility.
- 3:26He says confession is made unto
- 3:29salvation.
- 3:31The Greek word carries the sense of a
- 3:32completed transaction.
- 3:35Mouth and heart working in agreement
- 3:37produce a legal result.
- 3:39Salvation is not merely a feeling of
- 3:41forgiveness. It is a transfer of legal
- 3:44standing, and that transfer is triggered
- 3:47and enforced through the act of
- 3:49confession.
- 3:51This is why E.W. Kenyon wrote with such
- 3:53urgency about the believer's tongue.
- 3:56He was not being dramatic. He was being
- 3:58precise. He understood that a believer
- 4:01who never confesses what God has
- 4:03declared will live permanently beneath
- 4:06the level of his own redemption.
- 4:08Not because God has withheld anything,
- 4:10but because possession in the kingdom of
- 4:12God is inseparable from confession.
- 4:15There is no such thing as possession
- 4:18without confession.
- 4:19You do not possess what you will not
- 4:22declare.
- 4:23Think of it this way.
- 4:25Imagine a man who receives a letter from
- 4:27an attorney informing him that a wealthy
- 4:29relative has died and left him a vast
- 4:32inheritance.
- 4:33The estate is his. The title is his.
- 4:36Every legal document has been signed,
- 4:39sealed, and transferred.
- 4:41But the man never opens the letter.
- 4:44He goes on living in poverty, struggling
- 4:46with lack, telling his friends he has
- 4:49nothing because he never became
- 4:51conscious of what was already legally
- 4:53his.
- 4:55That is the condition of most of the
- 4:57church today.
- 4:59The inheritance was settled at Calvary.
- 5:01The redemption was purchased 2,000 years
- 5:04ago.
- 5:05The righteousness was imputed the moment
- 5:07they believed, but the mouth has never
- 5:10confessed it. The lips have never
- 5:12declared it.
- 5:14And so, they live beneath a birthright
- 5:16they have never claimed.
- 5:18E.W. Kenyon was relentless about this.
- 5:22He taught that the reason so many
- 5:23earnest, sincere, praying believers live
- 5:26in defeat is not a lack of effort. It is
- 5:29a lack of confession.
- 5:31They pray, they weep, they hope, but
- 5:35they never declare.
- 5:36And declaration is the difference
- 5:38between a request and a claim, between a
- 5:41petition and a possession,
- 5:44between a wish and an inheritance
- 5:46enforced.
- 5:48Now, let us turn to what this morning
- 5:49confession actually anchors.
- 5:52The first dimension is identity.
- 5:55I am what God says I am.
- 5:58This is not arrogance. This is not
- 6:00presumption. This is the most
- 6:02spiritually accurate statement a
- 6:04born-again believer can make. Second
- 6:07Corinthians 5:17 declares it
- 6:09unmistakably.
- 6:11If any man be in Christ, he is a new
- 6:14creature.
- 6:15Old things are passed away. Behold, all
- 6:18things are become new.
- 6:21New creature does not mean improved
- 6:23version. It does not mean a morally
- 6:26reformed version of the old man.
- 6:28It means a species of being that did not
- 6:31previously exist. A being born from
- 6:34above, created in the likeness of God
- 6:36himself, carrying the very nature of the
- 6:39divine.
- 6:41And when Kenyon said, "I am what God
- 6:43says I am," he was not reaching beyond
- 6:46the text. He was agreeing with it.
- 6:49What does God say you are?
- 6:52Ephesians 1:6 says you are accepted in
- 6:55the beloved.
- 6:56Not accepted on probation, not accepted
- 6:58[clears throat] conditionally, accepted
- 7:00completely and forever in the beloved
- 7:03son.
- 7:04Ephesians 2:10 says you are his
- 7:07workmanship, created in Christ Jesus.
- 7:11You are not your past. You are not your
- 7:13failures. You are not the sum of your
- 7:16worst decisions.
- 7:18You are the intentional creation of the
- 7:20living God, fashioned in Christ Jesus
- 7:23for a purpose that was settled before
- 7:25the foundation of the world.
- 7:28Second Corinthians 5:21 says you are
- 7:31made the righteousness of God in him.
- 7:34Not righteous because of what you do on
- 7:36your best days, but because of what he
- 7:38did on that one day at Calvary.
- 7:42This is past tense redemption. This is
- 7:45finished work reality.
- 7:48When you speak, I am what God says I am,
- 7:51every morning before your feet touch the
- 7:53floor, you are not trying to become
- 7:55something.
- 7:56You are enforcing what you already are.
- 7:59You are not climbing toward an identity.
- 8:02You are standing in an identity already
- 8:04granted, already sealed, already
- 8:07confirmed by the blood of the covenant.
- 8:10And that declaration, made with
- 8:12understanding, begins to transform your
- 8:15inner man.
- 8:16It silences the accuser. It pushes back
- 8:19the voice of inferiority.
- 8:21It breaks the back of sin consciousness.
- 8:25It aligns the human spirit with the
- 8:27spirit of God and creates an atmosphere
- 8:29where heaven's resources flow freely.
- 8:33The second dimension is inheritance.
- 8:36I have what God says I have.
- 8:39This is where believers suffer the
- 8:41greatest loss because most of the church
- 8:43has been taught to beg for what has
- 8:45already been given.
- 8:47They cry out, "Lord, please give me
- 8:49peace." When Philippians 4:7 says, "The
- 8:53peace of God, which passeth all
- 8:55understanding, shall keep your hearts
- 8:57and minds through Christ Jesus."
- 9:00It is already yours, not coming, yours.
- 9:05They plead, "God, please provide for
- 9:07me." When Philippians 4:19 declares, "My
- 9:11God shall supply all your need according
- 9:14to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
- 9:17Supplied, past tense, legally secured in
- 9:21the eternal account of your redemption.
- 9:24They beg for healing when 1 Peter 2:24
- 9:27says plainly, "By whose stripes you were
- 9:30healed."
- 9:31Were, past tense, purchased at the
- 9:34whipping post 2,000 years ago.
- 9:37Kenyon used the language of a bank
- 9:38account to explain this.
- 9:40He said that every blessing Christ
- 9:42purchased is like a deposit made to your
- 9:45account.
- 9:46The moment you were born again, heaven
- 9:48opened an account in your name.
- 9:50Healing was deposited. Peace was
- 9:53deposited. Righteousness was deposited.
- 9:57Authority was deposited.
- 9:59Every spiritual blessing was deposited.
- 10:03Ephesians 1:3 declares it without
- 10:05ambiguity.
- 10:07Blessed be the God and Father of our
- 10:09Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
- 10:11with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
- 10:14places in Christ.
- 10:16Hath blessed, completed action.
- 10:19The blessings are not in the pipeline.
- 10:22They are in the account.
- 10:24The question is not whether God will
- 10:25provide. The question is whether the
- 10:28believer will withdraw.
- 10:30And withdrawal happens through
- 10:32confession.
- 10:33You possess what you confess. You access
- 10:36what you declare.
- 10:38The tongue is the pen that signs the
- 10:40check. The mouth is the hand that makes
- 10:43the withdrawal. This is not metaphor.
- 10:46This is covenant mechanics.
- 10:49Psalm 107:2 says, Let the redeemed of
- 10:53the Lord say so.
- 10:55Not think so, not hope so, not quietly
- 10:58believe so. Say so.
- 11:01The redeemed are called to speak their
- 11:03redemption into the atmosphere of every
- 11:06morning, every battle, every
- 11:08circumstance. Because the spoken word of
- 11:11faith activates what the finished work
- 11:13already secured.
- 11:16The third dimension is authority.
- 11:18I can do what God says I can do.
- 11:22This is the dimension that terrifies the
- 11:24enemy most. Because a believer who knows
- 11:27their identity and claims their
- 11:29inheritance, but never exercises their
- 11:31authority, is still vulnerable.
- 11:34But the moment that same believer opens
- 11:36their mouth and declares their
- 11:38authority, the spiritual realm
- 11:40reorganizes around that declaration.
- 11:44Philippians 4:13 is the anchor.
- 11:47I can do all things through Christ which
- 11:50strengtheneth me. Not some things, not
- 11:53comfortable things, not things within
- 11:55the range of natural human ability.
- 11:58All things through Christ.
- 12:01The Greek word translated strengtheneth
- 12:03carries the meaning of being infused
- 12:05with ability, enveloped in divine
- 12:08capacity, empowered from within.
- 12:11It is not a motivational slogan. It is a
- 12:14legal description of the believer's
- 12:16operational capacity in the kingdom of
- 12:18God.
- 12:19Think about a police officer.
- 12:21When he walks onto a scene of disorder,
- 12:23he does not ask the crowd to please
- 12:25stop. He does not beg for cooperation.
- 12:28He does not plead for calm. He commands,
- 12:32and he commands with authority because
- 12:34he carries the backing of the law behind
- 12:36him.
- 12:37That badge is not his own power. It is
- 12:40the delegated authority of a legal
- 12:42system that stands behind every word he
- 12:44speaks.
- 12:46When a believer speaks in the name of
- 12:47Jesus, they are not operating on
- 12:49personal merit. They are operating on
- 12:52delegated authority. Luke 10:19 says,
- 12:56"Behold, I give unto you power to tread
- 12:59on serpents and scorpions, and over all
- 13:02the power of the enemy, and nothing
- 13:05shall by any means hurt you."
- 13:07Given, past [clears throat] tense,
- 13:09legally transferred, already yours.
- 13:13When you declare every morning, "I can
- 13:15do what God says I can do," you are
- 13:18activating that delegated authority.
- 13:21You are reminding your own spirit of the
- 13:23capacity it carries.
- 13:25You are putting the enemy on notice that
- 13:27the believer who stands here is not
- 13:30operating alone.
- 13:31He stands with the legal backing of the
- 13:33risen Christ, and that is a declaration
- 13:36the enemy cannot ignore.
- 13:39But here is where the revelation
- 13:41deepens.
- 13:42E.W. Kenyon did not merely teach about
- 13:44confession as a spiritual habit.
- 13:47He taught it as a spiritual law, as
- 13:50consistent and reliable as the law of
- 13:52gravity.
- 13:54He said that as long as you confess the
- 13:56word, the word confesses you before the
- 13:59Father.
- 14:00As long as you hold fast your
- 14:02declaration, God holds fast his promise.
- 14:06Having then a great high priest that is
- 14:08passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son
- 14:11of God, let us hold fast our profession.
- 14:15The word profession is the same Greek
- 14:17word as confession.
- 14:20Hold fast means to grip with both hands,
- 14:23to refuse to release, to cling to with
- 14:26covenant tenacity.
- 14:28It is the language of a soldier who has
- 14:30been given ground and refuses to
- 14:32surrender it. Not because the battle is
- 14:34easy, but because the authority behind
- 14:36him is absolute.
- 14:39And this is where the morning confession
- 14:41becomes warfare.
- 14:43Not warfare with noise or religious
- 14:45performance.
- 14:46You are refusing the identity of
- 14:49failure, sickness, insufficiency, and
- 14:51defeat the darkness attempts to assign
- 14:54to you in the hours of sleep.
- 14:56And as long as your lips speak what
- 14:58heaven has already declared, your
- 15:00circumstances have no choice but to
- 15:02eventually bow to the reality you are
- 15:05enforcing.
- 15:06Hebrews 4:14 gives us the command. You
- 15:09are opening the account and making the
- 15:11withdrawal before the pressures of the
- 15:13day can talk you out of it.
- 15:15When you declare, "I can do what God
- 15:18says I can do," you are stepping into a
- 15:20day already empowered.
- 15:22You are not asking for strength to face
- 15:25what comes.
- 15:26When you declare, "I have what God says
- 15:29I have." you are closing the door to
- 15:31poverty consciousness, lack mentality,
- 15:34and the orphan spirit that wonders
- 15:36whether God will provide.
- 15:38Warfare with words that carry legal
- 15:40weight.
- 15:42When you rise tomorrow morning and
- 15:43declare, "I am what God says I am." you
- 15:47are pushing back every lie the enemy
- 15:49whispered through the night.
- 15:51It means to produce an effect, to
- 15:53activate, to cause a result.
- 15:56The prayer of a righteous man that
- 15:58avails much is not the prayer of a man
- 16:00who hopes he is righteous.
- 16:02It is the prayer of a man who knows he
- 16:05is righteous, who confesses his
- 16:07righteousness, and who stands in that
- 16:09righteousness with boldness.
- 16:11The confession of your righteousness is
- 16:13what gives your prayer its force.
- 16:16Strip away the confession and you strip
- 16:18away the energy.
- 16:20Kenyon wrote that of the confessions of
- 16:22the modern church are confessions of
- 16:25defeat.
- 16:26Believers say, "I am so weak."
- 16:29Scripture says they are strong.
- 16:32Believers say, "I'm just a sinner saved
- 16:35by grace."
- 16:36Scripture says they are the
- 16:38righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
- 16:41Believers say, "I hope God heals me."
- 16:45Scripture says they were healed 2,000
- 16:47years ago.
- 16:49This is not a minor matter.
- 16:52This is the difference between a
- 16:53Christian who walks in dominion and a
- 16:56Christian who lives in defeat despite
- 16:58all their sincerity.
- 17:00The morning confession reverses that
- 17:02pattern.
- 17:03You are enforcing the strength that is
- 17:05already resident in your redeemed
- 17:07spirit.
- 17:09James 5:16 says, "The effectual fervent
- 17:13prayer of a righteous man availeth
- 17:15much."
- 17:16The word effectual in the Greek is
- 17:19energeo, from which we get the word
- 17:21energy. It does not wait for the
- 17:23circumstances to become favorable before
- 17:26declaring the truth.
- 17:28It declares the truth and then watches
- 17:30the circumstances yield because that is
- 17:33the nature of kingdom reality.
- 17:36And in every case, the last confession
- 17:38wins.
- 17:40Your last confession is what your spirit
- 17:42falls to.
- 17:43Your last confession is what your faith
- 17:46level descends to.
- 17:47Your last confession is what the enemy
- 17:50capitalizes on.
- 17:52You do not confess what the bank
- 17:53statement says as the last word. You
- 17:56confess what the covenant says about
- 17:58your inheritance.
- 17:59You do not confess what your past says
- 18:01about your future.
- 18:03You do not speak what you see. You speak
- 18:06until what you see changes.
- 18:09You do not confess what the doctor said
- 18:11as the final word. You confess what the
- 18:13great physician sealed at Calvary.
- 18:16You confess what the blood-sealed word
- 18:18of God says about the new creation
- 18:21standing in your skin.
- 18:23Mark 11:23 is the governing scripture
- 18:26for this entire teaching. Three times in
- 18:29that one verse, Jesus said the word say
- 18:32or saith.
- 18:34Not think, not feel, not believe
- 18:37silently.
- 18:38E.W. Kenyon built an entire lifetime of
- 18:41ministry on this one truth
- 18:44that God watches over his word to
- 18:46perform it and that the believer's mouth
- 18:48is the instrument through which that
- 18:50performance is released.
- 18:52Confess. Speak.
- 18:55The mountain moves in response to the
- 18:57spoken word of faith, not the silent
- 18:59wish of an uncertain heart.
- 19:02Jesus said, "Whosoever shall say unto
- 19:05this mountain, be thou removed and be
- 19:08thou cast into the sea and shall not
- 19:10doubt in his heart, but shall believe
- 19:12that those things which he saith shall
- 19:14come to pass. He shall have whatsoever
- 19:17he saith.
- 19:19And the 30 days Kenyon spoke of are not
- 19:21arbitrary. They represent the time it
- 19:24takes for the repeated confession to
- 19:26sink from the mind into the human
- 19:28spirit. It is built by consistent,
- 19:31daily, deliberate confession, line upon
- 19:34line, morning after morning, declaration
- 19:38upon declaration, until the word becomes
- 19:41the lens through which you see
- 19:42everything. Until your spirit is so
- 19:45saturated with what God has declared
- 19:47that no circumstance can shake your
- 19:49confidence. No diagnosis can steal your
- 19:52peace. No financial pressure can break
- 19:55your confession. Because you finally
- 19:57agreed with the verdict of Calvary
- 20:00instead of the verdict of your senses.
- 20:02Because you finally stopped asking God
- 20:04to do what he has already done and
- 20:07started declaring and enforcing what he
- 20:09already finished. That is when heaven
- 20:12responds with full force. Not because
- 20:14God was waiting to be convinced, but
- 20:17because you finally aligned with what he
- 20:19already accomplished into that deep
- 20:21inner man, where the word of God becomes
- 20:24more real than any circumstance.
- 20:27Hebrews 10:22 speaks of drawing near
- 20:30with a true heart in full assurance of
- 20:32faith. Full assurance is not
- 20:35manufactured by effort.
- 20:37The confession of that truth is the act
- 20:39of enforcement that the reality from the
- 20:42spiritual realm into the natural realm.
- 20:45So tomorrow morning, before your feet
- 20:48touch the floor, before the phone pulls
- 20:50your attention, before the world writes
- 20:53its agenda on your mind, open your
- 20:55mouth. Speak it with understanding.
- 20:59Speak it with covenant consciousness.
- 21:02Speak it as one who knows that faith is
- 21:04not a feeling, but a legal act.
- 21:08I am what God says I am.
- 21:11Romans 8:37 says,
- 21:14"In all these things, we are more than
- 21:16conquerors through him that loved us."
- 21:19More than conquerors is not a future
- 21:21promise. It is a present declaration.
- 21:25It describes what you are right now, in
- 21:27this moment, before the morning is half
- 21:30over, before the circumstances changed,
- 21:33before the manifestation appears.
- 21:35You are already more than a conqueror.
- 21:38Not because circumstances confirm it,
- 21:41but because the blood of the covenant
- 21:42has already settled it.
- 21:44Not because the mountain has moved yet.
- 21:47I have what God says I have. I can do
- 21:51what God says I can do.
- 21:53Speak it boldly. Not because you feel
- 21:56bold, but because you are bold in
- 21:58Christ.
- 22:00Kenyon said that the day you make this
- 22:02confession your first act of every
- 22:04morning is the day your spiritual life
- 22:06shifts to a new level. Not gradually,
- 22:09not eventually.
- 22:11But there is one more dimension of this
- 22:13revelation that Kenyon taught with great
- 22:15urgency.
- 22:16A hidden truth about what happens in the
- 22:19spirit realm the moment you open your
- 22:21mouth and make this confession.
- 22:23The shift begins the first morning
- 22:26because heaven does not wait for perfect
- 22:28performance.
- 22:29Heaven responds to faith, and faith
- 22:32speaks. Faith declares. Faith holds
- 22:36fast. Faith enforces. But because the
- 22:40word of a covenant-keeping God has
- 22:42declared that it must move, and that it
- 22:44will move, and that the man or woman who
- 22:47holds fast their confession without
- 22:49wavering will see that word fulfilled in
- 22:52every area of their life.
- 22:54A truth that explains why some believers
- 22:56confess for a few days and give up,
- 22:59while others confess with unshakeable
- 23:01tenacity and watch their entire world
- 23:04transform.
- 23:05A truth about the relationship between
- 23:07your confession, your inner man, and the
- 23:10spirit of God who dwells within you.
- 23:13Because the spirit does not merely
- 23:14witness your confession from a distance,
- 23:17he moves in response to it. He energizes
- 23:20it. He backs it with the full authority
- 23:23of the risen Christ.
- 23:25And what he does in that moment is
- 23:27something that most believers have never
- 23:29fully understood and never fully
- 23:31claimed.
