- 0:00On an ordinary morning in the summer of
- 0:021969, an editor at one of America's
- 0:07largest newspapers was sitting at his
- 0:09desk. He opened the mail like every
- 0:10other day. Letters, bills,
- 0:13advertisements. And among them was an
- 0:16envelope with no sender's name. He
- 0:18opened it and took out a handwritten
- 0:21note. The first sentence read: "I am
- 0:23the person you are looking for." This
- 0:26sentence, of course, was no mere joke.
- 0:28Because the rest of the letter
- 0:30contained details of an actual murder.
- 0:33This crime had taken place six months
- 0:35earlier. It contained very precise
- 0:38details, known to only one person in
- 0:41the world: the killer himself. The same
- 0:44letter arrived on the same day at two
- 0:47other newspapers. It was as if the goal
- 0:50of these letters was for all of America
- 0:52to hear about this killer and the
- 0:54crimes he committed. The most dangerous
- 0:57thing in them was not the confession to
- 0:59the crime. The more dangerous part was
- 1:01the condition written within. The
- 1:03sender had written: "Publish the
- 1:05ciphers inside the letter.""Try to
- 1:07solve them.""And if you don't do that,
- 1:10I will start killing more people."
- 1:12Killing, for this man, was not a crime;
- 1:15it was a game. And the game began from
- 1:18that moment on. Only to discover today,
- 1:21nearly 60 years later, that it was
- 1:24truly the hardest game in the history
- 1:27of American crime. For those seeing me
- 1:32for the first time, I am Abu Al-Sadiq.
- 1:34I talk about everything strange and
- 1:35mysterious on planet Earth. As usual,
- 1:37before we begin, remember not to
- 1:39believe everything around you. And
- 1:42victory is only from God. And for those
- 1:45who say I stopped saying we are
- 1:46boycotting and continuing, we are still
- 1:48boycotting and continuing. Today I will
- 1:50tell you the story of the most famous
- 1:53mystery the crime world has known:
- 1:55Zodiac. A story you have requested from
- 1:57me many times. After gathering all the
- 1:59details from FBI archives and official
- 2:02police files, it is time to tell it
- 2:04right. Subscribe to the channel, turn
- 2:07on notifications, and don't forget to
- 2:09like. Because as we always say, all
- 2:11stories, even if they seem similar, are
- 2:13not the same when I tell them. To begin
- 2:18, let’s go back to the night when the
- 2:20whole story started. On the date of
- 2:23December 20, 1968, on an isolated road
- 2:28called Lake Herman Road in California.
- 2:32A car was parked on the side of the
- 2:34road. Inside were a 17-year-old boy and
- 2:37a 16-year-old girl. They had gone out
- 2:41to spend some time away from people.
- 2:43Between 11:00 and 11:15 PM, on a cold
- 2:46night and an empty street. There was no
- 2:50one around them. Suddenly, they noticed
- 2:52a person walking in the middle of the
- 2:54street. He was coming toward them very
- 2:56calmly. As soon as he reached their car
- 2:58, without a word, without discussion,
- 3:01and without warning, he fired a bullet
- 3:03at the boy while he was inside the car.
- 3:06The girl was terrified and got out to
- 3:09run. She was trying to flee to survive,
- 3:12but...he chased her and fired five
- 3:14bullets into her back. As soon as he
- 3:16was sure they were dead, he left them
- 3:19and walked away. This whole scene did
- 3:21not last one minute. A boy and a girl
- 3:24whose lives had not yet begun. Their
- 3:27story ended on the side of the road on
- 3:29a winter night. And there was no reason
- 3:31at all for killing them. When the
- 3:34police arrived hours after the incident
- 3:36, no...No leads, no theft, no personal
- 3:39connection, and no witnesses. The crime
- 3:41file was opened without motives, then
- 3:44filed away with dozens of cases that
- 3:47happen every year, left unsolved. The
- 3:51case went cold, and the story was
- 3:53forgotten, but six months later, the
- 3:56case came back to life on July 4th,
- 3:591969. The second crime took place in a
- 4:04location called Blue Rock Springs. A
- 4:06place not far from the first crime. A
- 4:09young man and woman were sitting in a
- 4:10car at night. And the same scenario. A
- 4:12person approached them in the dark. He
- 4:15opened fire. The girl died. But this
- 4:17time, the young man survived. Minutes
- 4:20after the crime. Vallejo police station
- 4:22received a call from an unidentified
- 4:24person who confessed. He admitted to
- 4:26being the killer who carried out the
- 4:28attack. And he even mentioned details
- 4:31of the first crime that happened six
- 4:33months ago. Then he hung up and
- 4:35disappeared. Nobody was able to track
- 4:38him or catch him. On July 31st, 1969.
- 4:43The three letters I told you about at
- 4:45the beginning of the video arrived. And
- 4:47that’s when the police realized they
- 4:49were dealing with someone abnormal.
- 4:51They confirmed it was the killer
- 4:53because the letter. Mentioned details
- 4:56that were not available to the media,
- 4:58nor published anywhere. The killer said
- 5:01the victims were in a car. And that the
- 5:03attack happened between 11:00 and 11:15
- 5:06. And that the weapon was a small 9mm
- 5:10pistol. And he mentioned a technical
- 5:13detail only the police would know,
- 5:15which was that he attached a flashlight
- 5:18to. The weapon to aim in the dark.
- 5:21Details like that, no one knows except
- 5:24the police. And they record them in
- 5:26investigation files, or the killer who
- 5:27did it. Now, the question that left
- 5:29everyone puzzled. Was the sender the
- 5:32killer, or was it a police investigator
- 5:34familiar with the secret files? What do
- 5:37you think? Before we continue, write in
- 5:40the comments and see if your answer.
- 5:41Will be right or not? Stay with me,
- 5:44because the answer is stranger than you
- 5:46imagine. On August 4th, 1969. A new
- 5:51letter arrived. And for the first time,
- 5:54the sender introduced himself by name.
- 5:56He began the letter with a sentence
- 5:58that became the most famous in the
- 6:00history of crime. It was written: "This
- 6:02is the Zodiac speaking." And from that
- 6:04moment on, the killer’s name became
- 6:07Zodiac. Every letter he sent, he would
- 6:10sign with a strange symbol. A circle
- 6:12crossed with a cross, looking like a
- 6:15gun’s crosshair. There is a theory
- 6:18that he took the symbol from the logo
- 6:21of a watch brand called Zodiac. Their
- 6:23ads used to run in the same newspapers,
- 6:25but that is just a theory. Of course,
- 6:28it’s certain that this person didn't
- 6:30just want to kill. He wanted a name,
- 6:33fame, and a title to terrify all of
- 6:36America. This is something I want you
- 6:38to keep in mind. Because it is the key
- 6:40to the entire case. The puzzle in the
- 6:42letter was a cipher of 408 symbols. But
- 6:45he didn't send it in full to one
- 6:47newspaper. He divided it into three
- 6:50parts, one part for each paper. Meaning
- 6:52, to solve this puzzle, every paper had
- 6:55to publish the part it had. And wait
- 6:58for the rest to be published and ask
- 7:00people to help. And just like that, in
- 7:02one stroke, he made all of America talk
- 7:05about him. He threatened explicitly, "
- 7:07If you don't publish my letters on the
- 7:09front page, I will kill more people."
- 7:11And a copy of this threat is preserved
- 7:13to this day in the archives of the
- 7:15Vallejo Police and the FBI. The
- 7:17newspapers fell into a big trap with no
- 7:19solution. If they published the puzzle,
- 7:22it meant they agreed to the killer's
- 7:23terms and walked into the game
- 7:25themselves. And if they didn't publish
- 7:27it, they would be risking people's
- 7:29lives. Anyway, the newspapers decided
- 7:31to publish. They had finally done what
- 7:34the killer wanted. Then something
- 7:36happened that no one expected. People
- 7:38didn't treat the matter as a murder
- 7:40case. They treated it like a game.
- 7:43Everyone wanted to solve the puzzle.
- 7:45The story spread like wildfire. TV
- 7:47shows, radio, people on the streets,
- 7:50everyone wanted to crack the Zodiac
- 7:53cipher. The cipher, known today as
- 7:56Zodiac 408; just seven days after it
- 7:59was published, a normal California
- 8:02couple, teachers named Donald and Betty
- 8:06Harden, announced they had solved the
- 8:09riddle. Which neither the FBI nor the
- 8:11smartest investigators could solve.
- 8:13Their solution revealed that the cipher
- 8:16was a text containing a chilling
- 8:18confession. A long letter where the
- 8:20killer describes his pleasure in
- 8:23killing. He says literally that killing
- 8:25is more fun for him than anything else.
- 8:28And that the people he kills will
- 8:30become his slaves in the afterlife. But
- 8:33in all that long text with so many
- 8:35details, there was no name. I mean,
- 8:38they wore themselves out solving a
- 8:40puzzle that gave them everything.
- 8:42Except for the one thing they wanted:
- 8:44the name. The madness is that after
- 8:46this, instead of people demanding the
- 8:48killer be caught and the story ended,
- 8:50they started demanding a new puzzle.
- 8:52Imagine the scale of the issue. A
- 8:54killer had dragged everyone into his
- 8:56game. The press was publishing against
- 8:58their will, and the police were
- 9:00helpless, unable to expose him. And
- 9:02people went crazy, they wanted to be
- 9:03entertained. They wanted a new puzzle.
- 9:06But a new puzzle doesn't come for free.
- 9:09For there to be a new cipher, there had
- 9:12to be a new crime. And the Zodiac,
- 9:14unfortunately, didn't disappoint his
- 9:16audience. On September 27, 1969, on the
- 9:18shores of a lake called Lake Berryessa
- 9:22in California, a young man named Bryan
- 9:25and a girl named Cecilia were sitting
- 9:28on the grass. At 6:30 in the afternoon.
- 9:32This time, the place wasn't isolated.
- 9:34On the contrary, there were people
- 9:36nearby. And yet, the attack happened. A
- 9:39person approached them wearing a black
- 9:41hood covering his face. Entirely, and
- 9:43on his chest was drawn the same symbol
- 9:45that was in the letters. He attacked
- 9:47them. And managed to tie them up with
- 9:50ropes. He made sure they couldn't move.
- 9:53Then he pulled out a knife. And began
- 9:56stabbing them with slow strikes. Before
- 9:59leaving the scene, he did something
- 10:00very strange. On the door of the
- 10:02victims 'car, he wrote the dates of his
- 10:04previous crimes. And below them, the
- 10:07new date, 9/27. At 6:30, he wrote this
- 10:12with the knife. And beside it, he
- 10:15placed his signature. Where did the
- 10:16police get these details I'm telling
- 10:18you with such precision? From Bryan.
- 10:21Bryan survived. He told investigators
- 10:24all the details. And everything is
- 10:26documented in the Napa Sheriff's Office
- 10:28reports. As for Cecilia, she died from
- 10:31her wounds a few days later. The
- 10:34surprise was. Who reported this crime
- 10:36to the police? About an hour after the
- 10:39attack, the Napa police station
- 10:41received a call from a public phone. A
- 10:44calm voice, without any fear, said: "I
- 10:47want to report a murder.""No, two
- 10:51murders.""And I am responsible for them
- 10:54." He gave them the exact location of
- 10:56the victims, told them they were tied
- 10:58up with ropes, and hung up. The
- 11:00strangest thing. The call lasted less
- 11:03than a minute and a half, made from a
- 11:05public phone just a few blocks from the
- 11:08crime scene, meaning the killer
- 11:10committed his crime and then calmly
- 11:13called the police. This is documented
- 11:16in the Napa Police Department reports
- 11:19and the FBI case file. The Zodiac did
- 11:22not stop there, though, on October 11,
- 11:241969, in San Francisco, in an upscale
- 11:27neighborhood called Presidio Heights.
- 11:30At 9:55 PM, he appeared once again. But
- 11:36this time, he appeared in a different
- 11:38way. The victim this time was a taxi
- 11:40driver. He was 29 years old, named Paul
- 11:44Stine. The Zodiac got in with him like
- 11:46any normal customer. He asked to be
- 11:48driven somewhere. Before they arrived,
- 11:50he shot him from behind with a 9mm
- 11:53pistol. And he didn't run away. He got
- 11:56out of the car quite calmly. He took a
- 11:58piece of the victim's shirt as a
- 12:00souvenir. And walked down the street
- 12:02quite casually. And there were
- 12:03witnesses who saw him. A police patrol
- 12:06even passed by, close to him. But he
- 12:08wasn't stopped. Because simply, no one
- 12:11expected this person walking calmly and
- 12:14casually to be the killer. From the
- 12:16description of the witnesses who saw
- 12:18him, the most famous sketch of the
- 12:20killer was created. A white man,
- 12:22glasses, and a very average face. Two
- 12:26days later, a new letter arrived at the
- 12:28San Francisco Chronicle. And attached
- 12:31to it was the piece of cloth from the
- 12:33taxi driver's shirt. Meaning physical
- 12:36evidence that he was truly the killer.
- 12:38And a few days later, another letter.
- 12:40With it was a new cipher consisting of
- 12:43340 characters. Which is known today as
- 12:47the Zodiac 340 and is found within the
- 12:50FBI archives. In this letter, the
- 12:53killer said his victim count had
- 12:55reached seven. Letter after letter, the
- 12:58numbers became larger. But the police
- 13:02could only confirm a limited number. Of
- 13:04the crimes attributed to him. The
- 13:05Zodiac was talking about many crimes in
- 13:08his letters. And if he was telling the
- 13:10truth, it meant there were crimes no
- 13:13one had discovered yet. And new crimes
- 13:15were yet to happen. Investigators were
- 13:18confused; how was he sending them
- 13:20evidence proving he was the killer?
- 13:22They suspected he was a cop, and a
- 13:24genius cop at that. And the biggest
- 13:26problem was that the new cipher wasn't
- 13:28solved at that time. It remained a
- 13:30mystery for many decades. Meaning there
- 13:32was no way to confirm if the words
- 13:34inside were real or just a new game.
- 13:36And let's stop here at the topic of
- 13:38puzzles, because it's the heart of the
- 13:41story. The Zodiac sent four ciphers in
- 13:43his lifetime. The first, the 408, was
- 13:46solved. In days, and the second, the
- 13:50340, remained a locked mystery for 51
- 13:53years. No one was able to crack it.
- 13:56Until in December of 2020, three
- 13:59experts managed to crack it using a
- 14:02computer. And what was the first
- 14:04sentence in it? I hope you are having
- 14:07fun while you are trying to catch me.
- 14:09After he sent this cipher, the
- 14:11investigation entered a stage not in
- 14:13the police's favor. There was a massive
- 14:16amount of reports, hundreds of calls,
- 14:18and dozens of suspects. Everyone had a
- 14:20different story. People weren't
- 14:22satisfied with just trying to solve the
- 14:24puzzle. People started calling the
- 14:26police and going to the station
- 14:27themselves to turn themselves in. And
- 14:29saying that they were the Zodiac.
- 14:31Imagine, an innocent person claiming to
- 14:34be a serial killer. Just for the fame;
- 14:36that's how much the Zodiac captivated
- 14:39human minds. About two months later, a
- 14:42new letter in the same handwriting
- 14:44arrived at the San Francisco Chronicle.
- 14:47This time, the Zodiac didn't just stop
- 14:49at threats. He started mocking the
- 14:51police face to face. He claimed that
- 14:54they would never be able to catch him.
- 14:55More dangerously, he described in
- 14:57detail how he would change his
- 14:59appearance so no one would recognize
- 15:01him. Meaning, while the police were
- 15:03expanding their investigation, he was
- 15:05one step ahead of them. And he told
- 15:07them exactly what he would do to keep
- 15:08his identity hidden. That’s when
- 15:10everyone became certain that this man
- 15:13was not ordinary. Because first, he
- 15:15knows when the police get close to a
- 15:17solution. And second, he knows how the
- 15:19police think, as if he were sitting
- 15:22among them, reading their files and
- 15:24knowing their secrets. And that is the
- 15:26problem. If it turned out this man was
- 15:28an investigator from within the police
- 15:30or the FBI, their reputation would
- 15:32collapse. And if he turned out to be an
- 15:34ordinary civilian, the scandal would be
- 15:36even bigger. Because it’s
- 15:37unbelievable that an ordinary person
- 15:39could outsmart the world's biggest
- 15:41agencies every time and treat them with
- 15:43such coldness. In both cases, it was a
- 15:45major insult to the police. The more
- 15:47the investigation expanded, the further
- 15:49the crime seemed to drift away.
- 15:51According to San Francisco and FBI
- 15:54reports, a very large, significant
- 15:56number of suspects were investigated.
- 15:59This was in late '69 and early '70, but
- 16:02...Without any results; they all turned
- 16:05out to be liars and none of them were
- 16:08the Zodiac. It became clear that the
- 16:11problem wasn't a lack of information,
- 16:13but that someone was manipulating the
- 16:15existing information. And what was
- 16:17destroying the police's work even more
- 16:19was the press. The subject became a
- 16:21trend. And every time he challenged the
- 16:23police and committed...a new crime, he
- 16:25spread even further. People considered
- 16:27it a scandal that the whole
- 16:29investigation relied on only one thing:
- 16:31testimonies, testimonies people would
- 16:34come and give about him. But in reality
- 16:36, there was no evidence. Nor any trace.
- 16:40Nor any fingerprint of the killer. In
- 16:41the world of police and investigations,
- 16:43this is a disaster, because testimonies
- 16:45...are not something to rely on alone
- 16:47in such cases. Every testimony differs
- 16:50from the other. The people who saw him
- 16:52when he killed the taxi driver
- 16:54described a young man. Between 25 and
- 16:5730 years old. Average height. Average
- 17:01build. But in previous events, like the
- 17:03one that happened at the lake, the
- 17:05description was different. The height
- 17:07...was different. The way of moving was
- 17:09different. And even the athletic build
- 17:11didn't match the same description. They
- 17:13said the killer was able to tie two
- 17:15people up at the same time and very
- 17:17quickly. And even the method of killing
- 17:20was different. Once with a firearm, and
- 17:22once with a knife from a very close
- 17:24range. The police were left facing two
- 17:26possibilities. Each one harder than the
- 17:29other. Either it’s one person...
- 17:30someone who changes his style and
- 17:32appearance. To remain unpredictable and
- 17:34impossible to track. Or they are more
- 17:36than one person working under the same
- 17:39name. According to FBI files, there
- 17:41wasn't a single piece of physical
- 17:43evidence that conclusively linked all
- 17:45the crimes to one person. Meaning the
- 17:48entire investigation was running on a
- 17:50theory, not on proof. And this is a
- 17:52catastrophe. If it was one person, he
- 17:54is much smarter than they expected. And
- 17:56if they were more than one person, the
- 17:58story is much bigger than just a killer
- 18:00. After all these hypotheses, the
- 18:02investigation reached a stage where the
- 18:04problem wasn't a lack of information,
- 18:07but too much of it. The number of
- 18:08suspects reached the dozens. Each of
- 18:11them had something linking them to the
- 18:13case, yet at the same time, something
- 18:15clearing them of it. The police were at
- 18:18a standstill. There wasn't a single
- 18:20lead to move them one step forward. And
- 18:22what is the solution in such cases? You
- 18:23just have to sit and wait for the
- 18:25killer to make a mistake and reveal
- 18:27himself. The letters would stop for a
- 18:29while and then return on a certain date
- 18:31. On 3/22/1970, something happened that
- 18:35could have exposed him. This time there
- 18:38was no victim, there was a witness who
- 18:40lived and told the story of that night.
- 18:42A lady named Kathleen Johns, 22 years
- 18:46old. Seven months pregnant, and she had
- 18:49her 10-month-old baby girl with her.
- 18:52She was driving on the road, on her way
- 18:54to visit her sick mother. Suddenly, a
- 18:56light-colored car, according to. What
- 18:59was stated in the investigation report
- 19:00regarding her testimony. The driver was
- 19:02signaling for her to stop. As soon as
- 19:04she stopped, he told her that her car
- 19:06wheel was wobbling. He offered to fix
- 19:09it for her. But instead of tightening
- 19:11the wheel bolts, he pretended to fix it
- 19:13and loosened them all except one. As
- 19:16soon as Kathleen drove off, the car
- 19:18stalled. So he offered to give her a
- 19:21ride to the nearest station. And she
- 19:22didn't suspect a thing. She got in with
- 19:24him, she and her baby girl. She says he
- 19:26kept driving on isolated rural roads
- 19:29for over an hour and a half with my
- 19:31daughter. She was sure he wouldn't take
- 19:33them to the station. She was sure she
- 19:35was going to die, because he threatened
- 19:37to kill her and her daughter. But as
- 19:39soon as he stopped at a stop sign, she
- 19:41opened the door and jumped out with her
- 19:42daughter. She ran into a field and hid
- 19:45in the darkness. The man turned off his
- 19:47car and started looking for her. He
- 19:50stayed for a while, didn't find her,
- 19:52and left. Later, a passing car found
- 19:54Kathleen and her daughter. And took
- 19:57them to the nearest police station.
- 19:59Inside the police station, while
- 20:01waiting, she saw a paper hanging on the
- 20:03wall with a sketch of a criminal. She
- 20:06recognized him immediately. She said, "
- 20:08This is him, this is the man who
- 20:10kidnapped us." And the sketch was of
- 20:12the Zodiac. But before the police could
- 20:14return to her car and collect any
- 20:16evidence from it, the Zodiac had
- 20:18returned before them and burned it. To
- 20:21erase any evidence he might have left
- 20:23behind. Kathleen survived and became
- 20:25the most important witness in the whole
- 20:27case. The only person who. Sat with the
- 20:30Zodiac face to face. Of course, the
- 20:33police hypothesized that she might have
- 20:35said it was the Zodiac. Because he was
- 20:37the famous killer at the time. And
- 20:39maybe the one who kidnapped her and her
- 20:41daughter and wanted to kill them was
- 20:43someone who looks like him. However,
- 20:44the Zodiac himself is the one who
- 20:46confirmed to them that he kidnapped her
- 20:47. He sent a letter months later. He
- 20:50talked about the details of the
- 20:51kidnapping of Kathleen and her daughter
- 20:53. He talked about details that confirm
- 20:55he is indeed the one who did it. On
- 20:574/20/1970, he sent four letters in a
- 21:01row. All of them were mocking and
- 21:03ridiculing the police. One of these
- 21:05letters contained something very
- 21:06dangerous. The Zodiac wrote a sentence
- 21:09starting with two words. "My name is."
- 21:12And after that. He put a cipher of 13
- 21:15symbols. He said it reveals his real
- 21:17name. Imagine, the killer the world is
- 21:20looking for is giving them his name
- 21:22himself, but encrypted. And this cipher
- 21:25today is called Z13, and to this day,
- 21:27no one has been able to solve it. Just
- 21:3013 symbols. They might contain the name
- 21:34of America's most dangerous killer.
- 21:36That letter remains. A mystery to this
- 21:38day. After that letter, he sent them a
- 21:41drawing of a buried bomb. And with it,
- 21:44a map. A map of an entire area, with a
- 21:46symbol drawn over a mountain called
- 21:49Diablo, and a new cipher. He said the
- 21:52map and cipher would show you where the
- 21:55bomb is, and you have until fall to
- 21:58find it before it blows up, or all hell
- 22:01will break loose. Everyone tried to
- 22:03solve the cipher to find the bomb's
- 22:05location, but it was useless. No one
- 22:07was able to find it. No one even knew
- 22:09if it had exploded. No one even knew if
- 22:11it actually existed or not. This cipher
- 22:13is called Z32, and to this day, it
- 22:16remains unsolved. Before this matter
- 22:19could even end, he had sent them a
- 22:21drawing of a bomb designed to blow up a
- 22:23school bus and kill the children inside
- 22:25. He wrote that he intended to blow up
- 22:27a school bus. Panic stopped young men
- 22:30and women from driving their cars.
- 22:32Every mother sending her child to
- 22:34school started fearing for her kids.
- 22:36Until July 24, 1970, when the
- 22:39unthinkable happened. He sent a letter
- 22:43mocking the police, saying he was fed
- 22:45up with them, that they were a bunch of
- 22:47idiots, and that he decided to stop the
- 22:49game. At that time, thousands of fake
- 22:52letters were arriving from people
- 22:54writing riddles, claiming to be Zodiac.
- 22:57It became hard to distinguish which
- 22:59letter was real, which is exactly what
- 23:02he wanted. From that moment on, the
- 23:04letters stopped, crime rates in America
- 23:06returned to normal, and that was it.
- 23:08According to FBI archives, the last
- 23:11confirmed letter linked to his style
- 23:14was on January 29, 1974, and after that
- 23:17, everything disappeared. No crimes
- 23:20with the same MO, no letters with the
- 23:22same impact, and no new evidence to
- 23:24link the events together. It was as if
- 23:27the earth opened up and swallowed him.
- 23:28So, we reach the question everyone is
- 23:30waiting for. Do we know who the killer
- 23:32is? Unfortunately, contrary to what we
- 23:35all hope, to this day, no one knows who
- 23:37Zodiac is. According to official FBI
- 23:40files, the file is still classified as
- 23:43an open case despite about 60 years
- 23:46passing. Names emerged, theories were
- 23:49proposed, and people were officially
- 23:51accused. For instance, a man named
- 23:53Arthur Leigh Allen was one of the prime
- 23:56suspects in the 70s. But there was no
- 23:58conclusive evidence to convict him.
- 24:00Even with the development of DNA
- 24:02technology and recent attempts after
- 24:052018, where they tried to extract his
- 24:08DNA from the saliva on his stamps and
- 24:11envelopes, no definitive result was
- 24:14reached. They are all attempts, but
- 24:16they aren't reaching any solution.
- 24:18Zodiac is the strangest mystery the
- 24:20crime world has ever known. Not because
- 24:23he disappeared and ended, but because
- 24:25he was right in front of everyone's
- 24:27eyes, yet no one could figure out who
- 24:29he was. That was our story for today; I
- 24:31hope you liked it. If you like strange

- 24:44Share your opinion in the comments: How
- 24:46many crimes do you think Zodiac
- 24:47actually committed? And is he still
- 24:49alive, or did he die and his story end?
- 24:51I will read all your comments, honestly
- 24:53. Hi, I'll see you in the It video.
