3. 0:02with him who was sentenced to death for
4. 0:04the murder of a man in triport Louisiana
5. 0:06after 30 years in prison Ford was
6. 0:08released from Death Row last year after
7. 0:10the state admitted new evidence proves
8. 0:12he was not the killer last week I spoke
9. 0:14with the lead prosecutor in Ford's
10. 0:16murder trial Marty strad who recently
11. 0:18wrote a three-page letter to the
12. 0:19shareport times calling on the state to
13. 0:21stop refusing to compensate Ford who's
14. 0:24now dying of stage four liver cancer
15. 0:25you're one of his hospice Partners
16. 0:28helping uh Glenn Marty St since we
17. 0:31talked has gone to meet and apologize to
18. 0:34Glenn Ford directly and yeah I mean
19. 0:37Marty Ford H excuse me has apologized to
20. 0:41Glenn Ford um whether or not that
21. 0:43apology is anything significant after
22. 0:45enduring 30 years of wrongful conviction
23. 0:47on death route in solitary confinement
24. 0:49and the state still refuses to comp him
25. 0:52financially so he's completely
26. 0:54underinsured his medical care is some
27. 0:57some a combination of volunteers like
28. 0:59myself who are incredibly honored to be
29. 1:01able to serve and work with Glenn um and
30. 1:04then basic care from the state well
