7. 0:12an hour-long interview between sled
8. 0:14investigator David Owen and Alex Murdock
9. 0:16the interview which was played in Parts
10. 0:18throughout the morning and afternoon
11. 0:19shows the third and final interview
12. 0:21between Murdoch and investigators in the
13. 0:23interview Owen growled Murdoch on
14. 0:25inconsistencies between statements he
15. 0:26made since the night of the murders
16. 0:27towards the end of the conversation Owen
17. 0:29asked Murdoch very bluntly if he
18. 0:31murdered his wife and son did you kill
19. 0:32Maggie no did I kill my wife yes sir
20. 0:36another baby
21. 0:38do you know who did no I do not who did
22. 0:43did you kill Paul no that did not kill
23. 0:45Paul
24. 0:46do you know who did it no sir I do not
25. 0:48know who did

31. 1:02oh and then explains to Murdoch that
32. 1:03there is no other evidence that points
33. 1:05to anyone else being a suspect in the
34. 1:06murders other than Alec the defense
35. 1:08though questioned much of the
36. 1:09prosecution's case in their
37. 1:10cross-examination including why
38. 1:12investigators never searched the other
39. 1:14home that Alec visited the night of the
40. 1:15killing that's where his ill mother was
41. 1:17staying at the time coming up at six
42. 1:19we're going to take a deeper look into
