2. 0:02judge kelly has been handling the
3. 0:03courtroom and how diligent he's been in
4. 0:06vetting these jurors and getting to the
5. 0:08bottom of the most important issue which
6. 0:10is do these jurors have prior knowledge
7. 0:12of the Dalia Dippolito case if they do
8. 0:15then they shouldn't be a juror she's
9. 0:16entitled to a fair and impartial trial
10. 0:18you have any thoughts about the fact
11. 0:20that there are so many people who say
12. 0:22they know something at least about of
13. 0:24their team coverage we're not
14. 0:26discouraged by that at all in fact we
15. 0:28expected that this case has been in the
16. 0:30media for what six by six years six
17. 0:33seven years so there's a lot of people
18. 0:35that have had access to the media
19. 0:37especially in in southern Florida the
20. 0:40purpose of jury selection is to fete
21. 0:42those jurors are filter and remove those
22. 0:44jurors who have prior knowledge and
23. 0:46that's what's happening during this
24. 0:48process they still think you'll be able
25. 0:49to get up their journey here yeah I
26. 0:54guess talk to you tomorrow after five
27. 0:56o'clock we've got another 100 jurors
28. 0:58coming in tomorrow but I really do feel
29. 1:00confident that by Monday we we will be
30. 1:04able to imperil a jury and and get a
31. 1:06fair playing field and we're anxious to
32. 1:08to get our evidence before the jury and
33. 1:10and show this community that's that this
34. 1:13case is bigger than valued ippolito it's
35. 1:15really about holding a police department
36. 1:16accountable for breaking the rules and
37. 1:19trying to to manufacture a crime that
38. 1:23wouldn't have otherwise been committed
39. 1:25solely for the purpose of gaining fame
40. 1:27and notoriety
41. 1:33whether Dahlia testifies in this case is
42. 1:36going to be a game-time decision we have
43. 1:37to see how we still have a couple
44. 1:39further rulings yet by the judge on
45. 1:41keeping out certain evidence which is
46. 1:43very important that'll determine whether
47. 1:46she testifies and then more importantly
48. 1:47we want to see what the state what's up
49. 1:50how their evidence is presented and how
50. 1:53we cross examine their witnesses and
51. 1:54then we'll make a determination at that
52. 1:56point in time whether diet will testify
