  1. 0:00serial killers come in all shapes and
  2. 0:02sizes and have existed since the
  3. 0:04beginning of time however the rise in
  4. 0:06popularity makes us look back and wonder
  5. 0:09why they have existed at all from
  6. 0:10psychological inability to a bad
  7. 0:13childhood it's hard to pinpoint exactly
  8. 0:16what went wrong however a murderer isn't
  9. 0:18specific to one type of person it could
  10. 0:21be anyone and that someone today is ien
  11. 0:24wmos otherwise known as the damsel of
  12. 0:28death crimez conspiracy Cults serial
  13. 0:32killers and murder all things that I
  14. 0:34love to consume and I know you do to you
  15. 0:36sick beautiful deliciously delectable
  16. 0:41smart fabulous very well-dressed freak
  17. 0:46yes today we are talking about the
  18. 0:48infamous II moros one of the most famous
  19. 0:51female serial killers of all time at
  20. 0:54least in the media so without further
  21. 0:56Ado let's unbuckle our sleat belts go Mo
  22. 0:57five down the highway slam on the brakes
  23. 1:00and bust through this windshield into
  24. 1:02this female serial killer
  25. 1:11[Music]
  26. 1:17together so eileene waros otherwise
  27. 1:20known as eileene Pitman was born in
  28. 1:22Rochester Michigan on February 29th 1956
  29. 1:25and her childhood was already off to a
  30. 1:27bad start due to her parents not really
  31. 1:29being model citizens that you would
  32. 1:32expect them to be her mother Diane waros
  33. 1:34was a 14-year-old girl when she got
  34. 1:36married to her father Leo Pitman who was
  35. 1:4018 years old not like crazy uncommon for
  36. 1:42the time but they're they were pretty
  37. 1:44young to say the least so they had their
  38. 1:46first child Eileen's older brother Keith
  39. 1:48and the couple was married 2 years
  40. 1:49before Diane filed for divorce and that
  41. 1:52was 2 months before eileene would be
  42. 1:54conceived with her mother only being 16
  43. 1:57at the time like what was I do when I 16
  44. 1:59man I was sneaking out of the house
  45. 2:02going to 7-Eleven to get shitty pizza
  46. 2:05and slim gyms so Eileen would never
  47. 2:07actually meet her father and years later
  48. 2:10in 1967 he would be charged and
  49. 2:12imprisoned with a life sentence for
  50. 2:14kidnapping and graping a 7-year-old girl
  51. 2:18and her father clearly suffered from
  52. 2:20mental health issues but one of which
  53. 2:22was schizophrenia and he would later
  54. 2:24hang himself in his cell in 1969 and
  55. 2:27this would be a strain on Diane now
  56. 2:29having to take care of two of her
  57. 2:31children all alone she was a Teen Mom
  58. 2:33and made a decision to abandon her
  59. 2:35children pretty much leaving them with
  60. 2:37her parents Lori and BR waros who
  61. 2:40honestly weren't much better than than
  62. 2:42Eileen's E's first parents the couple
  63. 2:45were unfortunately raging alcoholics but
  64. 2:48they were the only people willing to
  65. 2:49take care of the two children later
  66. 2:51adopting them on March 18th 1960 and
  67. 2:54Eileen's childhood would just delve
  68. 2:56deeper into chaos as time went on sorry
  69. 2:58I got to put my glasses on on I don't
  70. 3:00know why I always start these without
  71. 3:01putting my glasses on cuz who oh my god
  72. 3:03wow I can see crazy grandma Chris coming
  73. 3:05at you anyway so at only 11 years old
  74. 3:08eileene would start engaging in drugs
  75. 3:11and using cigarettes on a daily basis
  76. 3:13and also using her body as currency she
  77. 3:17would begin doing lady of the nighting
  78. 3:19if you will and it wasn't always with
  79. 3:21strangers apparently she had even
  80. 3:23engaged in those kind of activities with
  81. 3:25her own brother Keith so we're already
  82. 3:27starting off just in some of the worst
  83. 3:31ways you can as a child being born into
  84. 3:33parents that can't take care of you one
  85. 3:36of them has serious mental health issues
  86. 3:38commits crimes you know obviously slew
  87. 3:41sidal as well as schizophrenic and the
  88. 3:44mother's not willing to take care it's
  89. 3:45just and the parents are alcoholics like
  90. 3:47talk about a recipe for disaster and
  91. 3:49when we talk about nature versus nurture
  92. 3:51I think this is a whole lot of nurture
  93. 3:55with Eileen's case personally I mean I
  94. 3:57know there's nature in there somewhere
  95. 3:59especially with mental health issues
  96. 4:00that her father had um but she was not
  97. 4:03set up for Success not that I'm giving
  98. 4:05any excuses for killing anyone okay I
  99. 4:07never do that but it's it's unfortunate
  100. 4:10is what it is and E's childhood would
  101. 4:12just get even rougher with her
  102. 4:14grandfather beating her with a belt on a
  103. 4:17daily basis and eventually the beatings
  104. 4:19became more of a thrill than pain for
  105. 4:21her due to her warped mind and her
  106. 4:24grandfather would also eventually sa her
  107. 4:27leading her to assume different
  108. 4:28positions for beatings even well naked
  109. 4:32sometimes just just heartbreaking stuff
  110. 4:34and during this time at 14 or 15 years
  111. 4:36old Eileen would actually give birth to
  112. 4:38a boy who was sent to an unwed mother's
  113. 4:41home and there the boy would be adopted
  114. 4:43from her in 1971 other sources claimed
  115. 4:46that she ran away from home but others
  116. 4:47state that she was kicked out by her
  117. 4:49grandfather and to sustain life on her
  118. 4:51own she would begin delving more into
  119. 4:54Lady of the nighting to survive on her
  120. 4:57own and in that same year her
  121. 4:59grandmother passed away from liver
  122. 5:00failure so all of this just made it
  123. 5:02harder and harder to find friends in her
  124. 5:05community she had no family at this
  125. 5:07point being excluded from her original
  126. 5:09mother to being kicked out by her
  127. 5:11grandfather just left her feeling
  128. 5:13incredibly isolated at this point and
  129. 5:15dropping out of school also didn't help
  130. 5:17this case and her priorities were
  131. 5:18clearly set on other things so just
  132. 5:21again like it's just an ingredient in
  133. 5:23the unfortunate serial killer soup like
  134. 5:25I feel like in the case of eileene this
  135. 5:28actually could have been avoided like
  136. 5:30this this was just the system failing
  137. 5:33her her parents failing her community
  138. 5:35everybody just failed her um again not
  139. 5:38an excuse but really unfortunate so this
  140. 5:41whole [ __ ] storm would collectively mold
  141. 5:44her into the murderer that she
  142. 5:46unfortunately became so determined to
  143. 5:48make it in the world herself she started
  144. 5:50to travel pretty extensively at this
  145. 5:52point and her means of travel would
  146. 5:54usually be alongside the highways I got
  147. 5:57to keep telling you don't hitchhike okay
  148. 5:59anti Chris or in right now Grandma Chris
  149. 6:02says never hit Chik all
  150. 6:04right don't do it okay but she would get
  151. 6:07rides along the highway and she would do
  152. 6:10that by selling her body through
  153. 6:12prostitution to continue to raise money
  154. 6:14for herself to to make a life for
  155. 6:16herself so she didn't really have any
  156. 6:18choice at this point or she didn't feel
  157. 6:20that she had any choice at this point
  158. 6:22and this was obviously dangerous for
  159. 6:24anyone at any age but for a girl that
  160. 6:26was a teenager especially it was it
  161. 6:30especially dangerous and this wouldn't
  162. 6:32be the only crime that she committed now
  163. 6:34that she was on her own falling upon
  164. 6:36other minor offenses with the law at 18
  165. 6:38years old in 1974 she was arrested for a
  166. 6:42DUI for example also disorderly conduct
  167. 6:44and firing a 22 from a moving vehicle
  168. 6:47and she would eventually stumble across
  169. 6:49a 69-year-old man named Lewis gratzel a
  170. 6:52yacht club president she met while
  171. 6:54hitchhiking her way to Florida and this
  172. 6:57was her golden ticket to a better life
  173. 6:59and she married him very quickly so she
  174. 7:01was basically speed running anything
  175. 7:03that came her way and marriage did not
  176. 7:05stop her she would continue to commit
  177. 7:07crimes also specifically an assault in a
  178. 7:10local bar and she would also allegedly
  179. 7:12hit Fel her husband with his own cane
  180. 7:15which made him realize that he had made
  181. 7:17a grave mistake and he would later file
  182. 7:19a restraining order against her and get
  183. 7:22their marriage anold which by the way
  184. 7:24was only 2 weeks into their relationship
  185. 7:27that that's those are some Kim K numbers
  186. 7:30so she was obviously not really built
  187. 7:32for longlasting relationships but we
  188. 7:34look back at her childhood and that kind
  189. 7:36of makes sense again like to be beating
  190. 7:39someone with a cane is not good I don't
  191. 7:40know what else is going on behind closed
  192. 7:42doors but she's just she's just not
  193. 7:45coming from a good place she came from
  194. 7:47monsters and that's what made her become
  195. 7:49a monster herself and she would later
  196. 7:51get wind of her brother Keith's passing
  197. 7:54getting $10,000 in life insurance as a
  198. 7:56payout and she would blow this money
  199. 7:58instantly on a car only to later crash
  200. 8:01it and completely wreck it and she would
  201. 8:03have extra money but blew it all away
  202. 8:06living on luxuries such as nicer motels
  203. 8:09and just more so she wasn't the happiest
  204. 8:12person of course and supposedly in 1978
  205. 8:15at only 22 years old she tried slew
  206. 8:19Slide by shooting herself in the stomach
  207. 8:21and this wasn't actually the first time
  208. 8:24as from 14 to 22 she attempted around
  209. 8:28six times so she wasn't in a great
  210. 8:30situation and her mental health was
  211. 8:32obviously very unstable and she was
  212. 8:35going from a relationship to another
  213. 8:37relationship from town to town with no
  214. 8:40friends or family to back her up in any
  215. 8:42way so she just felt lost and what she
  216. 8:44really needed was money but since she
  217. 8:47spent all of her brother's life
  218. 8:48insurance she had to get it by other
  219. 8:51means so her first crime would be armed
  220. 8:54robbery on May 20th 1981 she walked into
  221. 8:57a convenience store in Edgewater FL
  222. 8:59Florida stealing $35 and two packs of
  223. 9:02cigarettes and she would spend some time
  224. 9:04in prison and she would be released on
  225. 9:06June 30th 1983 and a year later on May
  226. 9:09of 1984 she was arrested again and this
  227. 9:12time for forgery in Key West while
  228. 9:14trying to cash Forge checks and in 1986
  229. 9:17she would be arrested again in Miami for
  230. 9:20car theft resisting arrest and
  231. 9:23obstruction of justice she just couldn't
  232. 9:25stop it was almost like she was addicted
  233. 9:28to the crime and wasn't smart enough to
  234. 9:30not get caught however everything would
  235. 9:32change when she would walk into a gay
  236. 9:34bar called the Zodiac which yes I see
  237. 9:39the parallels of that with another
  238. 9:41serial killer being named and a serial
  239. 9:42killer walking into it just those lines
  240. 9:45crossing so on December 13th 1989 a
  241. 9:48man's corpse would be found in a wooded
  242. 9:50area off of I95 with two bullets in his
  243. 9:53chest and later it would be discovered
  244. 9:55that this body was a man named Richard
  245. 9:58mallerie and Richard was a 51-year-old
  246. 10:00owner of an electronics repair shop in
  247. 10:03Clearwater Florida and Richard was a
  248. 10:05flawed man to say the least for his
  249. 10:08addiction to ladies of the night if you
  250. 10:10will and one day he would close up his
  251. 10:12shop kind of abruptly and then just
  252. 10:15disappeared which was not a shock to
  253. 10:17most because he was known to binge drink
  254. 10:20and go on these sesual binges as well
  255. 10:23and he didn't really have any close
  256. 10:24connections for anyone to notice that he
  257. 10:26disappeared at least soon however two
  258. 10:28young men men would be looking for scrap
  259. 10:30metal off the Interstate 95 where they
  260. 10:33would find Richard mallerie and when
  261. 10:35they found him they would see two holes
  262. 10:36in his chest which had 22 caliber
  263. 10:39bullets in them and suspicions
  264. 10:40apparently fell on a stripper named
  265. 10:42Chastity who actually claimed she did
  266. 10:45murder him however this was a dead end
  267. 10:47as she said the story in a burst of
  268. 10:49anger and it was just not true and the
  269. 10:51case would later go cold and
  270. 10:53investigators would learn later from
  271. 10:55Eileen's confession that she stole a
  272. 10:57radar detector camera and an undisclosed
  273. 11:00amount of money from him and she would
  274. 11:01also State on trial and to investigators
  275. 11:04that it was in the interest of
  276. 11:05self-defense claiming that malary had
  277. 11:08graped her beat her and sodomized her
  278. 11:11leading to her to take those specific
  279. 11:13actions and those actions being shooting
  280. 11:15him twice in the chest but this is stuff
  281. 11:17that we just don't know it's kind of
  282. 11:19like we have to take her word for it or
  283. 11:21we take the prosecutor's word for it
  284. 11:23it's just something we're not sure of
  285. 11:25and I mean there's obviously a movie
  286. 11:27monster with uh beautiful Charlie saren
  287. 11:30who did such a wonderful job in that
  288. 11:31movie where they portrayed a certain way
  289. 11:33and whether that was the way that
  290. 11:34everything went we don't know
  291. 11:36specifically but do with that what you
  292. 11:38will let's continue so the next victim
  293. 11:40was a man by the name of David Spears
  294. 11:43who was a 43-year-old man from Sarasota
  295. 11:46Florida and he was a heavy equipment
  296. 11:48operator who was last seen on May 19th
  297. 11:501990 and he had apparently told his boss
  298. 11:52that he was traveling to Orlando but
  299. 11:54apparently just never made it there and
  300. 11:56his truck would be found on June 1st
  301. 11:581990 and his Corp with several bullet
  302. 12:01holes in it yet again from a 22 so the
  303. 12:04truck was unlocked the license plate was
  304. 12:06missing and the only other thing left on
  305. 12:08his corpse was a used condom and his
  306. 12:11death would just be another mystery with
  307. 12:12no leads and the next victim would be
  308. 12:14Charles koten a 40-year-old part-time
  309. 12:17Rodeo worker and on June 6th 1990 his
  310. 12:20body would be found in Pasco County
  311. 12:22wrapped in an electric blanket and the
  312. 12:24body was severely deteriorated and
  313. 12:27completely unrecognizable medical
  314. 12:29examiners couldn't even find
  315. 12:30fingerprints so it was difficult to
  316. 12:32estimate the time of his death and this
  317. 12:34body had nine holes in it again with a
  318. 12:3622 caliber bullet and this body wasn't
  319. 12:39identified until much much later but
  320. 12:41detectives relayed the case to Citrus
  321. 12:43County where other bodies had been found
  322. 12:45estimating a connection could be with
  323. 12:47both of them Peter SS would be the next
  324. 12:49victim who was a 65-year-old retired
  325. 12:51Merchant Seaman and a June 1990 he left
  326. 12:54Jupiter Florida to travel to Arkansas to
  327. 12:57see his relatives and his car a 1988
  328. 13:00Pontiac Sunbird I had a Pontiac Sunfire
  329. 13:02when I was a kid I love that car anyway
  330. 13:04was found completely smashed up not my
  331. 13:06car his car and there was blood stains
  332. 13:07throughout the interior and the license
  333. 13:09plate was missing yet again and his body
  334. 13:12unfortunately was not found and there
  335. 13:14were small hope that he had survived and
  336. 13:16the next victim would be Troy burus a
  337. 13:1950-year-old sausage salesman who went on
  338. 13:22a regular delivery route on July 30th
  339. 13:25but the manager Johnny Thompson noticed
  340. 13:26that he didn't return later that
  341. 13:28afternoon and calling around he found
  342. 13:30out that he hadn't showed up for his
  343. 13:31last few delivery stops so noticing that
  344. 13:33he went missing the manager went looking
  345. 13:35for him and the police were notified and
  346. 13:37at 4:00 a.m. the next morning off the
  347. 13:39shoulder of State Road 19 the vehicle
  348. 13:42was found unlocked with the keys and
  349. 13:44Troy completely missing and it took 5
  350. 13:47days until his body was found in a
  351. 13:49clearing off Highway 19 in Okala
  352. 13:52National Forest where the body would be
  353. 13:53identified as Troy burus by his wedding
  354. 13:56ring tisk tisk and the cause of death
  355. 13:58for Troy would be two shots from a 22 in
  356. 14:02the chest and one in the back but
  357. 14:04unfortunately they still had no leads at
  358. 14:07this point and then there was Charles
  359. 14:09Humphrey who was a 56-year-old retired
  360. 14:11United States Air Force Major he was
  361. 14:13actually a former Chief state of police
  362. 14:15and a former State Child Abuse
  363. 14:17investigator for Florida's Department of
  364. 14:19Health and rehabilitative services and
  365. 14:21on September 10th he would celebrate his
  366. 14:2335th anniversary of marriage however
  367. 14:25just the next day he would completely
  368. 14:27disappear and on September 12th his body
  369. 14:29would be found in Maran County and his
  370. 14:31body would be littered with seven bullet
  371. 14:34wounds with one being in his head and we
  372. 14:36would learn much later that all that was
  373. 14:38taken from him was $300 and a while
  374. 14:41later in November a nude body was found
  375. 14:43on a Logging Road in Dixie County and
  376. 14:46would be identified as Walter Antonio
  377. 14:48and Antonio was a six-year-old trucker
  378. 14:50who also worked as a security guard and
  379. 14:52a member of the reserve police and the
  380. 14:54body was found with 22 caliber bullet
  381. 14:56holes four of them to be specific and
  382. 14:58this would be the the freshest body that
  383. 15:00they found being found only 24 hours
  384. 15:03after his death and after hearing all of
  385. 15:05this police went through each murder to
  386. 15:07figure out who the hell could be
  387. 15:08responsible so these series of killings
  388. 15:11over the next few years were all
  389. 15:12questioned by detectives what were their
  390. 15:14motives what were their pattern what was
  391. 15:16taken from each of the victims why did
  392. 15:19each one have a 22 caliber bullet wound
  393. 15:22why were all the bodies dumped in the
  394. 15:23woods and why were the license plates
  395. 15:25taken away and the answer would fall on
  396. 15:27a story from a witness who saw two women
  397. 15:30crash their car so on July 4th a car
  398. 15:33veered off the road near Orange Springs
  399. 15:35and landed in some bushes and a witness
  400. 15:38Ronda Bailey would see two women crash
  401. 15:40the car and also scramble out of the car
  402. 15:42they began to argue really loudly and
  403. 15:44throw beer cans out into the woods
  404. 15:47cussing each other out and just just
  405. 15:49being just being crazy and she witnessed
  406. 15:51one of the women was bleeding from her
  407. 15:53arm so she would approach her cuz she's
  408. 15:54a good civilian and she would begin to
  409. 15:56converse with her and the woman begged
  410. 15:58Bailey not to call called the police
  411. 15:59stating her father was nearby then both
  412. 16:01women would just hop back into the car
  413. 16:03which was in horrible condition and
  414. 16:05drive off but after driving for a little
  415. 16:08bit the car would eventually just give
  416. 16:09up and die which then they would abandon
  417. 16:11and just start walking and when police
  418. 16:13would investigate the vehicle they found
  419. 16:15it to be a Pontiac Sunbird with a
  420. 16:17windshield that was smashed and it was
  421. 16:20Peter seams car one of the victims so
  422. 16:22the police eventually got a read on the
  423. 16:24two women that of tyria Moore and Eileen
  424. 16:27waros and previous Witnesses said that
  425. 16:29they had sold one or the other an RV
  426. 16:32while another said that they stayed at a
  427. 16:33motel and knew their names and
  428. 16:35eventually detectives and police were
  429. 16:36able to locate where eileene was located
  430. 16:39she was at a biker bar called The Last
  431. 16:41Resort in valua County Florida sorry if
  432. 16:44I said that wrong and they needed
  433. 16:45someone to speak to Eileen undercover
  434. 16:48and that person would be officer Mike
  435. 16:50Joiner so he would go undercover with
  436. 16:52the name this is a great name uh bucket
  437. 16:55head very believable cuz supposedly
  438. 16:58nobody used their real names in this
  439. 17:00specific biker bar so this wasn't like
  440. 17:02too shocking and he knew what she would
  441. 17:04want and how to get her attention by
  442. 17:06flashing money around her and offering
  443. 17:08her cigarettes and free beer that's like
  444. 17:09a how to get with Eileen 101 and this
  445. 17:11would open up her mouth easily to say
  446. 17:14the least she would talk about her
  447. 17:15girlfriend tyria Moore how she moved out
  448. 17:18and left her alone and how she was
  449. 17:20lonely because of it and the next day
  450. 17:22Eileen would call the guy the undercover
  451. 17:23cop to bring all the money and that she
  452. 17:25would show him a really good time and
  453. 17:27before they could even get to the motel
  454. 17:29let alone leave the bar both Mike and
  455. 17:31eileene were arrested on January 9th
  456. 17:341991 arrest for
  457. 17:39what and unfortunately police didn't
  458. 17:41have much to go by despite her prce
  459. 17:43matching the ones found in dead Peter
  460. 17:46seams car and police had Tracked Down
  461. 17:48tyia in Pennsylvania asking for her
  462. 17:50involvement in the murders and she would
  463. 17:52plead completely innocent to them and
  464. 17:54said she would work for the police in
  465. 17:56order to get a confession out of Eileen
  466. 17:58snitch just get stitches and she would
  467. 18:00call eileene waros stating that she
  468. 18:02didn't want to get arrested Lee they're
  469. 18:05coming after me I know they are no
  470. 18:07they're
  471. 18:08not why are they asking so many
  472. 18:10questions then honey listen listen
  473. 18:13listen I'm not going to let you go to
  474. 18:16jail I love you alive I don't know
  475. 18:19whether I should keep on living or if I
  476. 18:20should don't TI
  477. 18:22Ty what if they don't believe
  478. 18:25me what Happ when you go to jail or
  479. 18:28anything
  480. 18:30I have
  481. 18:31to we do it now get it over with and
  482. 18:35during all this though she was breaking
  483. 18:37down stating that she only did these
  484. 18:38murders in
  485. 18:47self-defense I was drunk as hell a
  486. 18:52professional these guys would take my
  487. 18:54off
  488. 18:57[Music]
  489. 19:00just open up the men that would pick up
  490. 19:04and take her for rides would abuse her
  491. 19:06and beat her and sometimes even grape
  492. 19:08her and investigators just wanted more
  493. 19:10questions answered but they'd have to
  494. 19:12wait until the trial to get the whole
  495. 19:14picture but at this point they did know
  496. 19:16that eileene waros was the murderer and
  497. 19:18the trial would be chalk full of
  498. 19:20information and waros threw everything
  499. 19:23out onto the table and during the trial
  500. 19:25in January 1992 it went Case by case of
  501. 19:28all the murders she committed and the
  502. 19:30men that she harmed and she said she did
  503. 19:32it to support her lover and stole in
  504. 19:34order to support her lifestyle not a
  505. 19:36good excuse and police would be directed
  506. 19:38to a storage shed where they would find
  507. 19:40clothing watches toolboxes and more and
  508. 19:43supposedly these all belonged to her
  509. 19:45victims and the narrative that it was
  510. 19:47purely self-defense was then questioned
  511. 19:50why would someone protect themselves and
  512. 19:52then steal the belongings of the person
  513. 19:54that they killed so Eileen obviously
  514. 19:56didn't want to go to trial for a bunch
  515. 19:57of murders but she also just wanted to
  516. 19:59get it over with which was evident in
  517. 20:02her confession but despite all this the
  518. 20:03trials would go on and the trial was for
  519. 20:05the first murder which would set the
  520. 20:07narrative for the pattern of the other
  521. 20:09murders the prosecution introduced her
  522. 20:11patterns with the other murders and how
  523. 20:13she knew what she was doing and she knew
  524. 20:15that it was wrong murdering multiple men
  525. 20:17for their possessions but what she
  526. 20:19didn't expect is that she did this All
  527. 20:21for Love basically and that her lover
  528. 20:24her lover would hit the stand to
  529. 20:27criticize and completely abandon her
  530. 20:30putting everything on her and it's just
  531. 20:33brutal it's brutal we were sitting on
  532. 20:36the floor watching TV and she just come
  533. 20:38out and said I have something to tell
  534. 20:40you and I asked her what and she said
  535. 20:44that she had shot and killed a man that
  536. 20:45day and reportedly during the whole
  537. 20:47trial she didn't even look at eileene
  538. 20:49she completely avoided eye contact
  539. 20:51stated her story and just walked out
  540. 20:54without looking at eileene at all and on
  541. 20:56January 27th 1992 Eileen waros was
  542. 20:59convicted of first-degree murder and
  543. 21:01sentenced to death but Eileen's story
  544. 21:03would later change on March of 1992
  545. 21:07during her plea hearing the plea hearing
  546. 21:09was meant for the other murders
  547. 21:10specifically where she pleaded no
  548. 21:12contest she said all the killings were
  549. 21:15not in fact for self-defense but for
  550. 21:18financial gain or even to eliminate the
  551. 21:20witnesses she robbed and this plea would
  552. 21:22just give her more death sentences which
  553. 21:24I think is kind of mute a Mot point at
  554. 21:27that point she's going to die anyway you
  555. 21:29know why give her multiple doesn't
  556. 21:31really make sense but they would just
  557. 21:32continue to add up as the trials went on
  558. 21:35eventually reaching a total of six death
  559. 21:38sentences that's a lot of death she's
  560. 21:40not a damn cat what the [ __ ] but it was
  561. 21:42hard to know what to believe directly
  562. 21:44was it possible she was abused or even
  563. 21:47graped by some of these men or even one
  564. 21:50of these men we won't know but the
  565. 21:52defense in the first case tried to point
  566. 21:54that arrow in the direction of Richard
  567. 21:56mallerie who actually had a history of
  568. 21:59sociopathic tendencies as evident from
  569. 22:01Correctional Facility documents but no
  570. 22:03matter what eileene would be sentenced
  571. 22:05to death and her life on death row was
  572. 22:08not pretty according to her due to her
  573. 22:10isolation from others her mental state
  574. 22:12was just horrendous being on death row
  575. 22:15you have limited contact which in my
  576. 22:18personal opinion was the opposite of
  577. 22:20what someone like her needed this is
  578. 22:22what basically led her to her Insanity
  579. 22:24in the first place and crimes she also
  580. 22:26claimed that during her time on death
  581. 22:28throw that prison workers would taint
  582. 22:30her food with dirt spit and even urine
  583. 22:33she even claimed to overhear them
  584. 22:35talking about pushing her mental health
  585. 22:37over the line so she would commit slw
  586. 22:39slide before the execution to save time
  587. 22:43and worse as well she said that she
  588. 22:45heard them talking about graping her
  589. 22:47before her execution and the list just
  590. 22:49goes on and on from strip searches to
  591. 22:53cat calling she was in living hell
  592. 22:55before her execution again allegedly
  593. 22:58however there was an upside for her
  594. 23:00interviews would be conducted with her
  595. 23:02by a documentarian Nick Broomfield and
  596. 23:05the film just went into depth about some
  597. 23:07of the personal reasons why she did what
  598. 23:09she did and in an interview she even
  599. 23:11stated that she honestly did kill in
  600. 23:13self-defense and was so tired of being
  601. 23:15on death row she just wanted to die and
  602. 23:17she would be on death row for about 10
  603. 23:20years so that's a long time to suffer
  604. 23:22being locked up when you're thinking you
  605. 23:24should just be dead and her mental state
  606. 23:26was just deteriorating as the days went
  607. 23:28by in her last days she said her mind
  608. 23:31was being taken over by radio waves and
  609. 23:33she was under a spell they had they had
  610. 23:36the intercom on in the room and they
  611. 23:39kept lying that it wasn't on and they
  612. 23:42were using Sonic pressure on my head
  613. 23:45since
  614. 23:471997 Sonic and every time I was trying
  615. 23:49to write something I they and I I think
  616. 23:51they had some kind of eye in the cell
  617. 23:53I'm not sure but every time I started
  618. 23:55writing something it went up higher so
  619. 23:58I'm thinking that probably had the TV
  620. 24:00rigged the TV or the mirror something
  621. 24:02was rigged they got a huge satellite on
  622. 24:04the compound after they put the huge
  623. 24:06satellite on the compound could have
  624. 24:08been either rigged to the TV set or the
  625. 24:10mirror or something cuz the electrician
  626. 24:11when he put the mirror on the wall he
  627. 24:12said doesn't that look like computer the
  628. 24:14back of it and they stuck to the wall
  629. 24:16did that affect your mind in some way
  630. 24:18the Sonic it was crushing my head in
  631. 24:20they were using Sonic pressure but the
  632. 24:22media just loved her and not in a
  633. 24:25supporting way exactly but more of an
  634. 24:27entertain painting way almost like she
  635. 24:29was a circus monkey that was being
  636. 24:31analyzed in in a in a in a cage which in
  637. 24:35my opinion is messed up like I If you
  638. 24:37murder someone I think you're a piece of
  639. 24:39[ __ ] and that's not right but there's
  640. 24:42treating a human like a human um
  641. 24:44especially in in specific circumstances
  642. 24:46but she would eventually get her wish
  643. 24:49from her original sentencing to death on
  644. 24:51January 31st 1992 she would finally be
  645. 24:54executed by lethal injection on October
  646. 24:579th 20 02 at 46 years old and her death
  647. 25:00would just spark more media attention
  648. 25:03with people questioning the fairness of
  649. 25:05humanity of the death sentence to allow
  650. 25:07someone to live so much longer than they
  651. 25:10needed to suffer daily until eventually
  652. 25:12being executed a decade later and this
  653. 25:15also sparked talks amongst the feminist
  654. 25:17Community acknowledging the mistreatment
  655. 25:19of female inmates in prison systems due
  656. 25:21to her claims of abuse well on death row
  657. 25:24and on the other side of the coin people
  658. 25:26believed she got off easy and didn't
  659. 25:28suffer enough I was glad she was gone
  660. 25:31and someone said to me well don't you
  661. 25:34feel bad because she was abused and I
  662. 25:36said no I don't I said everybody has
  663. 25:40been abused in their life but what was
  664. 25:42put into question all these years was
  665. 25:44how much involvement her lover tyia
  666. 25:47Moore had and how she got off literally
  667. 25:49Scott free and we know that during her
  668. 25:52confession she admitted to doing all of
  669. 25:54this to please and fund her extravagant
  670. 25:56lifestyle and by Tyra's own admission in
  671. 25:58court she showed that she knew of the
  672. 26:00crimes committed because Eileen told her
  673. 26:03and this has also sparked a split
  674. 26:05amongst those who talk about this case
  675. 26:07stating that tyia could have absolutely
  676. 26:09been directly involved and in my opinion
  677. 26:12if you know that shit's going on call
  678. 26:14the popo you know otherwise you're an
  679. 26:16accessory like you know that this is
  680. 26:19happening you you're you're guilty by
  681. 26:21association basically but the case of
  682. 26:23eileene waros is a very sad story of
  683. 26:26someone who was abused throughout her
  684. 26:27life felt unloved and went searching for
  685. 26:30it in in all the wrong places a life of
  686. 26:32crime and drug abuse just led her on a
  687. 26:35path that she could not return from and
  688. 26:37the loss of all of those lies just led
  689. 26:39to her death penalty and I think the
  690. 26:40story specifically raises questions
  691. 26:43about how important mental health care
  692. 26:45really is the fact that someone could
  693. 26:46live their entire life abused and
  694. 26:49misused and just just wronged in life
  695. 26:51and then end up becoming a murderer and
  696. 26:54then treated the same it's just all it's
  697. 26:57all not good again not excusing anyone
  698. 27:00for murder I think that's [ __ ] terrible
  699. 27:02and I think there's other ways around it
  700. 27:03but when people aren't helped in life
  701. 27:05it's it's hard for those people with
  702. 27:07those those trauma blinders on to to see
  703. 27:10any any other way out just overall
  704. 27:12really really sad but I'd love to hear
  705. 27:14what you have to say about this whole
  706. 27:16case down below I feel for the families
  707. 27:18that lost uh these men do I agree with
  708. 27:21what these men were doing no do I agree
  709. 27:22with what e did absolutely not just
  710. 27:25unfortunate just unfortunate but let me
  711. 27:27know what else you guys want to see down
  712. 27:29below if you want something sweet after
  713. 27:31this sour sour case uh go grab some
  714. 27:34candy it's sour. if you want if you want
  715. 27:37we got new flavors every week little
  716. 27:38guys I've been eating them probably a
  717. 27:40little too much but they're delicious so
  718. 27:43uh but until the next video I will see
  719. 27:45your beautiful face then bye
