3. 0:04he did not commit Valentino Dixon was in
4. 0:07town today talking about adjusting to
5. 0:09life outside of prison channel 2's
6. 0:11Claudine Ewing spoke with him today
7. 0:13before he will be seen across the nation
8. 0:15tonight Claudie Kelly yes tonight he
9. 0:18will be the focus of a documentary on
10. 0:19the Golf Channel it's going to detail
11. 0:22his fight for freedom Dixon was
12. 0:24wrongfully charged and convicted of
13. 0:26murdering toreano Torrey Jackson back in
14. 0:281991 Lamarr Scott who admitted to the
15. 0:31crime is now serving time for the
16. 0:32killing dixon remains convicted of
17. 0:34criminal possession of a weapon he was
18. 0:36released from prison in September after
19. 0:38serving more than 27 years including
20. 0:40time in Attica he says his life his time
21. 0:43in jail wasn't all bad he perfected his
22. 0:45art work drawing golf courses which
23. 0:48earned him international attention as
24. 0:50for his wrongful conviction I asked if
25. 0:52he will sue the state of New York I have
26. 0:55lawyers that's dealing with that right
27. 0:57now there's a lot that I don't know
28. 0:59about the civil claims you know so I'm
29. 1:00learning myself you know what options we
30. 1:03have and what we need to do something
31. 1:05you want to do yeah yeah you know
32. 1:08something of course you know because
33. 1:12this matter could have been resolved 27
34. 1:14years ago it hasn't really been any
35. 1:15challenges as far as my transition
36. 1:17because I stayed on outside my mental
37. 1:19which stayed on the outside the whole
38. 1:20time I had a 8 inch TV and I will watch
39. 1:24it and I will pay attention to what was
40. 1:26going on in the world so I didn't get
41. 1:28lost again that documentary is called 27
42. 1:32years it airs tonight at 8 o'clock on

44. 1:35six-page article on Dixon in the current
45. 1:38Golf Digest magazine which is on the
46. 1:40stands right now Dixon has been doing a
47. 1:42lot of traveling and will head to London
48. 1:44in a few weeks all for his artwork and
49. 1:46he also plans to attend the Masters next
