1. 0:00Yo, guys. What's up? Max here with a
2. 0:01Palworld video, and today we're going to
3. 0:02be going over some of the best base
4. 0:04locations, both old spots and some of
5. 0:07the new spots that they've added,
6. 0:09as well as kind of
7. 0:11setting up your bases
8. 0:13and what you want your bases to be
9. 0:14producing. Right now, they've changed
10. 0:18the way that you kind of want to
11. 0:19prioritize where you build your base and
12. 0:21how you build your base with some of the
13. 0:23updates to the games. So, we'll be
14. 0:24explaining everything you guys need to
15. 0:25know. Hope you enjoy the video. Let's do
16. 0:27this. So, the first thing I kind of want
17. 0:29to explain is
18. 0:31base priorities before we talk about
19. 0:33locations,
20. 0:34and that's changed a little bit.
21. 0:37Early game, when you're starting out
22. 0:39building bases in like a mining location
23. 0:43is pretty good, and we'll showcase some
24. 0:44of those.
25. 0:45But, for example, a lot of the later
26. 0:48resources, such as coal,
27. 0:52sulfur,
28. 0:53quartz, all of these things you don't
29. 0:56need to build next to because you can
30. 0:59build these basically
31. 1:01mining pal locations, and your pals will
32. 1:03mine those for you. So, early on, it's
33. 1:06great to build a base next to respawning
34. 1:09resource nodes like these resource nodes
35. 1:11here. If you build a base next to a
36. 1:13resource nodes like this and you're
37. 1:15don't build over them so that they can
38. 1:17respawn, your pals will mine them, and
39. 1:19if you don't have easy access to
40. 1:22resource nodes like these, it's super
41. 1:24helpful. But, once again, later on, it's
42. 1:27not as important because you'll be able
43. 1:28to kind of automate all of these without
44. 1:30respawning resource nodes, and that
45. 1:32opens up a lot of possibility for where
46. 1:34you're going to put your base.
47. 1:35So, we're going to go over some good
48. 1:37like wide-open areas to build bases
49. 1:39first, then we'll do resources, and then
50. 1:41I'll show you how I've set up my bases
51. 1:43and like what each one is doing and why
52. 1:44they're doing that.
53. 1:46So, you can skip to the part of the
54. 1:47video that you need to watch. So,
55. 1:50starting out wide-open spaces, this is
56. 1:53one of the OG spots.
57. 1:55It's in the Isles of Murmur, at negative
58. 1:58255
59. 2:0050. This spot is really great one
60. 2:02because it has a natural defenses.
61. 2:05You've got a wall on one side already.
62. 2:08You're surrounded by water on others,
63. 2:10and then you could have like a
64. 2:11technically watchtower up there if you
65. 2:13wanted to.
66. 2:14But this base can only get raided from
67. 2:16this opening, so you can just build a
68. 2:17fence or a gate there. And this area is
69. 2:21big enough that you could build two
70. 2:22bases next to each other. So if you
71. 2:24wanted to set up one base that is purely
72. 2:27for like a farm, and then one base that
73. 2:29is big production, you could do that.
74. 2:32The reason you're going to want multiple
75. 2:33bases by the way, simply for the fact
76. 2:36that you're limited to the amount of
77. 2:37pals you can have at each base. Even
78. 2:39when you level up those bases, you're
79. 2:41going to want to have as many pals doing
80. 2:43like one task for maximum efficiency,
81. 2:46which once again we'll talk about
82. 2:48towards the end of the video. But that's
83. 2:49kind of like the big benefit of having
84. 2:51multiple bases, it's just having more
85. 2:53pals working.
86. 2:54So this is our first location, super
87. 2:56open, could make double bases here, and
88. 2:59it's fairly well protected as well. Our
89. 3:01next location is where I actually am
90. 3:03using as a main base. This spot is
91. 3:06really nice one because it is pretty
92. 3:09massively open. You can see that there's
93. 3:12plenty of room to build upon.
94. 3:14We've got a little multi-floor
95. 3:16structure, not the prettiest looking
96. 3:17base, but it gets the job done. But the
97. 3:20reason this location is so awesome,
98. 3:23at least in my opinion, is because it
99. 3:25has a natural wall all the way around
100. 3:27it. This base is unraidable.
101. 3:30Obviously raids are not like the biggest
102. 3:32deal. You can just spend money to get
103. 3:34rid of them. You can turn them off
104. 3:35entirely in your server. I still kind of
105. 3:37think they're cool though.
106. 3:39But because this base is surrounded by a
107. 3:42natural wall, the raiders cannot reach
108. 3:44it without you having to build anything
109. 3:46for it. You just don't have to worry
110. 3:47about it at all, which is super nice.
111. 3:50And it's super flat here,
112. 3:52and it's very pretty. You're right next
113. 3:54to the ocean, the beach, and you can see
114. 3:55the volcano in the background. So, we
115. 3:57made a little bedroom here
116. 4:01where you can see out and kind of see
117. 4:02everything. Super cool. Definitely
118. 4:04recommended base location. And this is
119. 4:06going to be at -479,
120. 4:10-80.
121. 4:11Our next spot is a pretty solid early
122. 4:15base, not only for mining, but also it's
123. 4:19quite flat and you're very very easily
124. 4:21protected because you're on a cliff. So,
125. 4:25you can't really get rated here. You can
126. 4:27technically like build a wall back there
127. 4:30or a fence and then you're basically
128. 4:31good to go.
129. 4:32But you can put your pal box
130. 4:35kind of right in the middle there and
131. 4:37then not only have your pals farming the
132. 4:39resources here, but then also build like
133. 4:41a house in a base up on this like upper
134. 4:44area.
135. 4:45This is one of the better spots back
136. 4:47when the game first came out. Still
137. 4:49really great spot. It's going to be at
138. 4:514, -528.
139. 4:54Our next spot is definitely one of the
140. 4:55best spots that I've found.
141. 4:57However, it is quite a bit later.
142. 5:00This is going to be
143. 5:02all the way up in the pretty like
144. 5:04northwest of the map where you find the
145. 5:07Moonflower Tower. This is going to be at
146. 5:10location -647,
147. 5:13273.
148. 5:14The reason this location is so awesome
149. 5:16is one, it's beautiful. You're
150. 5:19surrounded by cherry blossoms, which is
151. 5:22really really cool. You also have a
152. 5:24triple waterfall here, which is really
153. 5:26awesome. You can build your base kind of
154. 5:28and have it kind of lean over this like
155. 5:31beautiful pristine pond with the triple
156. 5:34waterfalls, with the cherry blossoms,
157. 5:36and the best part of this one
158. 5:39is it also has two oil holes. You're
159. 5:42going to need
160. 5:44high quality oil with extractors later
161. 5:47on. It's going to be pretty important.
162. 5:49Uh so, not only does this have two of
163. 5:50those nodes, but it also has sulfur
164. 5:53nodes as well.
165. 5:55And it's flat. Uh so, doesn't get too
166. 5:57much better than this spot. Really,
167. 5:59really cool and pretty. And it's also uh
168. 6:02on a cliff. So, it is a little bit more
169. 6:04susceptible to raids from this right
170. 6:06side over there. Uh but around the rest
171. 6:08of the side, you wouldn't need to like
172. 6:09build much walls. Our next location is
173. 6:11also a super cool one that also has oil
174. 6:14nodes. Uh this is going to be in the
175. 6:16Sunlit Isle. Uh it's actually pretty
176. 6:18close to the spawns. You could get here
177. 6:20super early.
178. 6:22Um
179. 6:23this is the
180. 6:24the Hill of Beginnings. It's just to the
181. 6:26right of that at 403 -469.
182. 6:30Uh this place is awesome. One, you're uh
183. 6:34kind of on your own little private
184. 6:35island.
185. 6:37Could name that island whatever you
186. 6:38want. Uh but you could build your base
187. 6:40right here. There's two oil wells that
188. 6:42you could extract oil from. There's a
189. 6:44pond here. You could build upwards. Uh
190. 6:46you've got this whole place to yourself.
191. 6:48Plus, there's this cool area up here uh
192. 6:51that you could kind of extend your base
193. 6:52to or even build a second base. And then
194. 6:55there's more oil nodes up here. So,
195. 6:57uh really pretty area that also is
196. 7:00highly functional. Um
197. 7:02yeah, awesome, awesome place. I actually
198. 7:04think I might move a base here because
199. 7:06this is very, very cool. Um but yeah,
200. 7:09that is our next base location. Our next
201. 7:11spot is purely for mining. Uh one of the
202. 7:14like most juiced uh locations to just
203. 7:17find tons of resources. You've got coal
204. 7:19here uh and also ore.
205. 7:23And a lot of it. Um this is going to be
206. 7:27uh at -169
207. 7:29-221.
208. 7:32Um pretty flat area to build your base.
209. 7:34You've got surrounded by a wall and
210. 7:35you've got all of these nodes. You could
211. 7:37just set up your like pal base kind of
212. 7:39here uh and then have all your pals
213. 7:42mining this resource constantly. Our
214. 7:43next spot is going to be at 35
215. 7:4851.
216. 7:50And this is going to be really really
217. 7:52great for resources.
218. 7:54You've got ore here. You've also got
219. 7:56quartz.
220. 7:58Which is awesome. Pure quartz there.
221. 8:00It's also got coal.
222. 8:03So you're getting quartz or coal and
223. 8:05sulfur and then and then there's also
224. 8:09sulfur rocks here. So if you put your
225. 8:11base here, really really good spot for
226. 8:13just tons and tons of resources
227. 8:16if you need them.
228. 8:18Not the most flat base, but very very
229. 8:20functional location. Last thing I want
230. 8:22to talk about is base priorities and
231. 8:24some of the pals that you need to have
232. 8:25these like priorities work.
233. 8:28So
234. 8:29kind of as I mentioned,
235. 8:31most of the resources, like getting
236. 8:34resource bases is great, but eventually
237. 8:36you will have the ability to just get
238. 8:39all of the different resources from
239. 8:41things that you can build as structures
240. 8:43in your bases
241. 8:45and then it becomes more about how
242. 8:47you're doing your base layouts versus
243. 8:49like the location of your bases as much.
244. 8:53And so I think it's really great to have
245. 8:55bases with different purposes that allow
246. 8:58you to kind of like hyper specialize the
247. 9:00pals that are in said areas. So for
248. 9:03example, this is our first base. I'm
249. 9:06playing with my buddy Chadley. I'll have
250. 9:07his channel link below. He's done a ton
251. 9:10of work setting up these bases. I
252. 9:12couldn't have done it without him.
253. 9:13But we've got a production base meaning
254. 9:16that here is going to be all of the pals
255. 9:19that are very good at
256. 9:21smelting and melting down ores. We've
257. 9:24also got a lot of pals that are very
258. 9:26good at handywork because we're going to
259. 9:28be doing all of our crafting. So we've
260. 9:29got a bunch of Anubises here and
261. 9:32segments here.
262. 9:34And
263. 9:34um
264. 9:35basically we're just
265. 9:37building this base entirely for
266. 9:39production of things, whether it's
267. 9:41weapons, pal spheres, gadgets, pal
268. 9:44gadgets, more ores. This is where all of
269. 9:47the materials from all of the other
270. 9:48bases are going to come, and this is
271. 9:50where we're going to build them. So,
272. 9:51that's kind of the idea of base number
273. 9:53one.
274. 9:55Now, the next thing that you're going to
275. 9:56want is a Now, the next thing you're
276. 9:57going to want is a farming base. Now,
277. 10:02in 1.0, they've changed it so that you
278. 10:04can get just about every material that
279. 10:08drops as a death drop from pals as from
280. 10:12farm animals.
281. 10:13We've got multiple farm bases. This one
282. 10:15is kind of the basic farm base for the
283. 10:18more like normal pal drops. So, for
284. 10:21example,
285. 10:22I'll move my camera.
286. 10:24We've got a lot of Mozzarinas that'll
287. 10:26give us milk, lot of chickens that are
288. 10:28giving us eggs.
289. 10:30We've got Lamballs that are giving us
290. 10:32wool.
291. 10:34And we've got bees that are giving us
292. 10:35honey. Note that all of these pals are
293. 10:38going to be making resources that are
294. 10:41going to allow us to build cakes.
295. 10:43So, this is where we've got our breeding
296. 10:45base set up. The more cakes that you can
297. 10:48make, the more that you can breed your
298. 10:50pals together. So, this is kind of like
299. 10:52the farm for all of the pal resources.
300. 10:55And then the actual base's purpose is
301. 10:58for breeding, where we've got a breeding
302. 11:00station and incubators, also pal
303. 11:03condensers. So, that the pal condenser
304. 11:05is where you combine all the excess
305. 11:07pals. We've got another breeding station
306. 11:09over here, and then a bunch of like
307. 11:10farms for the animals. So, this is kind
308. 11:12of like our breeding base. It doubles as
309. 11:15a farm, but all those farm resources are
310. 11:17basically getting directly injected into
311. 11:20more breeding. Our next base is set up
312. 11:23specifically for
313. 11:26pal drops that are not like edible
314. 11:28things. These are going to be for all of
315. 11:30the byproducts, such as like fire organs
316. 11:33and water organs. Uh we don't have them
317. 11:35all in right now, uh but you can sort by
318. 11:38um farming to check for this.
319. 11:41So, Foxicles drop ice organs, Surfants
320. 11:44drop leather, uh Melpacas drop wool, um
321. 11:50you can get uh Flame Bells, these drop
322. 11:53flame organs, Sparkits drop electric
323. 11:55organs, Kelpsea's drop pal fluids,
324. 11:58um Rubies also drop flame organs, Woolly
325. 12:01Pops drop
326. 12:04um cotton candy.
327. 12:06There's a ton of things you can get. Uh
328. 12:08Capricity knock drop venom glands. Uh
329. 12:10you can basically set up a base that is
330. 12:12entirely for [snorts] um pal drops. Um
331. 12:16Mau's drop gold coins if you're uh low
332. 12:19on money. Uh but this is what this base
333. 12:21looks like. It's just entirely set up
334. 12:22for basically just farming. And the very
335. 12:25last base that we have set up right now
336. 12:27is just a mining base. Uh these are
337. 12:30going to be where all of the um kind of
338. 12:33nodes that we talked about earlier,
339. 12:36where you can put all of these like uh
340. 12:37specific mining uh structures down,
341. 12:40quartz quarry, sulfur quarry, rock
342. 12:42quarry, uh tree quarry. Uh and this base
343. 12:46is strictly just for mining. Uh so, like
344. 12:49uh
345. 12:50originally having like a mining base
346. 12:51location is nice, but eventually once
347. 12:53again, you can just put down all of
348. 12:54these nodes and have uh a base that is
349. 12:57just pure mining pals.
350. 13:00So, here we're using a lot of Blazamuts.
351. 13:03Blazamuts have seven mining, uh which is
352. 13:05the highest that we've found so far. I'm
353. 13:07sure there is higher.
354. 13:09Uh Mam- Mammarisus are pretty good early
355. 13:13on.
356. 13:14Um
357. 13:15Mossanda for your trees are pretty
358. 13:16solid. Uh so are Lifmunks.
359. 13:20But yeah, we've got another base that is
360. 13:21just set up specifically for mining. Um
361. 13:25and this is where all our like work pals
362. 13:27are going to be. Guys, that is going to
