- 0:00planes shows up in your screen.
- 0:03It's kind of like a fish,
- 0:04>> but yeah,
- 0:05>> when you touch the icon for the
- 0:07airplane,
- 0:08>> Yeah.
- 0:08>> tells you the type aircraft adding an
- 0:10air speed
- 0:11>> and and boats use MMSI, which is
- 0:14identification of the boat. And you can
- 0:16look up that you you
- 0:18if they're if they're registered with
- 0:20their ADSB in and out, it will identify
- 0:24who I am, the plane, you know, the tail
- 0:28number and everything. And uh so you
- 0:30could actually call me on the radio and
- 0:33say, "Hey, we're on a collision course."
- 0:38>> I never called Brad. I just watch him
- 0:40out of the way. [laughter]
- 0:42I'm coming in. Got it. Coming in.
- 0:45>> All righty. Well, just all yours.
- 0:49>> All right. Well, u meeting to order and
- 0:53uh let's see who's present. Ted Derpy is
- 0:55here. I am here. Red's here. Adrien is
- 0:59not here, but I suspect he might come.
- 1:01Tyler's here.
- 1:03Tom, uh, let's see, the clerk and the
- 1:07deputy director.
- 1:08>> Yes, sir.
- 1:09>> So, we got a pretty good We have a
- 1:11quorum. We can proceed.
- 1:14>> The first item is uh the meeting
- 1:17minutes. That's the two pager from last
- 1:20time. Um, it's pretty brief, but it it
- 1:24summarized what we talked about last
- 1:26time.
- 1:28uh which is mainly
- 1:31um
- 1:33set the next meeting be talking about
- 1:37um
- 1:37>> oh yeah
- 1:38>> what else should we talk about oh here
- 1:39it is okay
- 1:41>> the the construction schedule because
- 1:43well machinery's been sitting idle for
- 1:45three to four months there's concern
- 1:48about when are we going to get that
- 1:50going and we're done with that
- 1:52>> uh then we talked about the courtesy
- 1:54vehicle which is going to be coming in
- 1:56the this sort of like every meeting
- 1:57we'll probably have to talk about that
- 2:00uh installation costs and the repeater
- 2:04to get the signal from the Wi-Fi over to
- 2:07the new and also to my hanger which is
- 2:10on the east side um and um Adrian is
- 2:15working on that. I talk to him about it.
- 2:18Probably at the next meeting, you'll
- 2:20have to have like an itemized. Here's
- 2:22the three big brands, here's the cost,
- 2:24here's the installed labor cost. Um,
- 2:29and I think we're probably best served
- 2:32if we don't call the FAA and ask them,
- 2:34can we mount that also on the rotating
- 2:36beacon pole because that'll just cause
- 2:40commotion. I think we just put it on the
- 2:42pole. It's a super lightweight thing
- 2:44that doesn't affect the integrity or the
- 2:46operation of the pole. And I think
- 2:48that's is T. Do you agree that's the
- 2:51logical place to mount it?
- 2:53>> Yeah. So, so I did talk to my it.
- 2:57>> Um,
- 2:58so if you guys are going to want it,
- 3:00obviously that's I'm not at your guys's
- 3:03dimes. It's not something that the city
- 3:05can provide right now. Um we
- 3:10that internet is there for the the
- 3:14lounge.
- 3:14>> Yeah.
- 3:15>> So that that's what we cover and
- 3:19>> you know it has two important functions.
- 3:20One is
- 3:21>> that that we can get online and look at
- 3:23the weather of this place we're thinking
- 3:24of going
- 3:25>> and we can also with the Wiz dot system
- 3:27pull up cameras actually see the weather
- 3:29what it looks like you know beyond that.
- 3:31The other thing is is that um this is
- 3:33often a fuel stop because we have kind
- 3:36of [clears throat] price fuel
- 3:37>> for people crossing the border. And one
- 3:40of the things you have to do before you
- 3:41cross the border is you have to check in
- 3:43with Canadians and tell them, "Well,
- 3:44we're coming. We're leaving here at this
- 3:46time. We'll be arriving at that airport
- 3:48at this time." And we will pull up and
- 3:50park in the customs box, get out with
- 3:52our documents. And so it's it's you
- 3:55know, I've had a lot of people
- 3:57stop and say, you know, I'm going north.
- 4:00Is there internet here? Yeah. Oh, good.
- 4:02Okay. So, it has a function beyond the
- 4:05safety sort of function.
- 4:07>> No, understandable.
- 4:08>> And I'm willing to kick some money in. I
- 4:10don't know about Ted and the other
- 4:12people that are on our end of the
- 4:14airport, but s such a small amount of
- 4:15money that I think we can probably do
- 4:18it.
- 4:18>> Okay.
- 4:19>> So, as long as, you know, we can all
- 4:21we're doing is we're sharing. We'll be
- 4:24sending it from its current location to
- 4:26the repeater up on top of the pole.
- 4:30not on top, but mounted on the pole.
- 4:32>> And then it'll then disseminate so that
- 4:34the new hangers can get the internet and
- 4:37us in the old hangers on the east side
- 4:40>> can also get the
- 4:42pilots that are out in the on the
- 4:44tarmac.
- 4:44>> Yeah. In the parking area.
- 4:46>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:47>> And that would include and and since
- 4:48I've moved to the airport, let me tell
- 4:50you that I would say an average day
- 4:54there are three medevacc flights. Oh, I
- 4:57I believe
- 4:58>> it's just amazing how many medevac
- 5:01flights come in and out of there and the
- 5:03first thing those guys do is they get on
- 5:05their phone and start looking to see
- 5:08they're they're there, you know, like to
- 5:10deliver a patient
- 5:11>> and then they're it's like the Yuber or
- 5:13whatever. They're trying to find is
- 5:14there another patient we can transport
- 5:16so we don't dead head back. So often
- 5:18you'll see one ambulance arrives,
- 5:21somebody gets out well while they are on
- 5:23a stretcher. It's they put them in the
- 5:25ambulance, off they go. 5 10 minutes
- 5:28later, here comes another ambulance.
- 5:29They put the new person in, off they go.
- 5:32So, they're making pretty efficient use
- 5:33of it. Particularly that UW medical
- 5:36pilot.
- 5:37>> Yeah.
- 5:37>> He's often uh going bringing and and
- 5:41taking on the same trip on the same
- 5:43route trip.
- 5:44>> Yeah.
- 5:44>> Yeah. I'm sure they'd like to have that
- 5:46internet. That would be helpful to them.
- 5:48>> He does.
- 5:49>> Okay. So, the last item we talked about
- 5:51was the fencing
- 5:52>> block. Yeah. Um and so maybe we should
- 5:55get a little update on fencing.
- 5:57>> So the fencing is we are moving ahead
- 6:00with it. Um obviously we're going to
- 6:03keep the layout plan as it is right now.
- 6:06Um so we'll start phase one. We're
- 6:09waiting for everything all are we got
- 6:12the funding for the AIG.
- 6:14We're just waiting on the engineering
- 6:18>> which is underway. I spoke to the two
- 6:20surveyors who were there for almost a
- 6:21week.
- 6:22>> Yeah. So they went out and fed
- 6:23everywhere all all really they need to
- 6:26um just waiting to hear back from them
- 6:28and then move ahead.
- 6:29>> It's phase one the [clears throat] south
- 6:31side of the airport east west
- 6:33>> it will be
- 6:34>> the north is the north side.
- 6:39>> No I thought it would be south.
- 6:42>> Okay southite.
- 6:44>> So from yards.
- 6:46>> Yes.
- 6:47>> Okay west. So we're going east and all
- 6:50that.
- 6:51>> Yeah. I'll include all the gates and
- 6:52they go around.
- 6:53>> Okay.
- 6:54>> So the phase three is red's place
- 6:56>> because of the
- 6:58>> complexity.
- 6:59>> Yes.
- 6:59>> So I talked to engineers about that. So
- 7:02>> but the fence is on the south side of
- 7:03the driveway.
- 7:04>> Correct.
- 7:05>> Right.
- 7:06>> So how is that all that alalfa and all
- 7:08that how is he going to get into because
- 7:10that that'll clear down the ditch.
- 7:12Right. No no no. It cuts off right to
- 7:15you.
- 7:17>> Oh yeah. That's why that's why phase
- 7:19three is you're the last phase of it
- 7:21because I have to get all that cleaned
- 7:22out first
- 7:23>> and then it comes right across your
- 7:26right by your area.
- 7:27>> So south side
- 7:29>> Yeah. We're not going all the way to the
- 7:30road,
- 7:31>> right? So you go down to corner of Bob's
- 7:33hanger and [clears throat] the gate will
- 7:34be there.
- 7:34>> Yeah.
- 7:35>> Okay.
- 7:35>> So where's your starting point? I'm a
- 7:37little bit confused.
- 7:38>> It's orange. It's back by
- 7:40>> Okay. Over the southeast corner then.
- 7:42>> Yeah.
- 7:43>> Yeah. Southwest.
- 7:46But then it's got to go over what phase
- 7:48is that that goes
- 7:48>> and then it goes over to the east.
- 7:50>> It goes up to yours.
- 7:51>> It goes up to your orange
- 7:52>> and then heads west.
- 7:53>> Yeah.
- 7:54>> And then it goes west.
- 7:55>> That's phase.
- 7:56>> The phase three is over by the uh oh the
- 8:01radio station over there where the
- 8:03farmer keeps on.
- 8:04>> Oh. Oh yeah. Yeah. The AWS. Yeah.
- 8:06>> Yeah. That was in
- 8:07>> By the way, I have some choice footage
- 8:08for you. High definition video.
- 8:10>> I appreciate that.
- 8:11>> We'll talk about that later.
- 8:12>> Okay. Okay.
- 8:15When is that supposed to start?
- 8:16>> Uh, right now I'm not sure. I'm hoping
- 8:18fiscal year. This is the fiscal year
- 8:20supposed to start, but I'm guessing 2027
- 8:24will be the starting point. Spring of
- 8:2627.
- 8:27>> Yeah.
- 8:31>> Okay. So, it under sort of new business,
- 8:34the airport emergency plan. Red was not
- 8:37there when the fire started down south
- 8:40here.
- 8:40>> Mhm. I was and I immediately called I
- 8:43have a client owns 8,000 acres over
- 8:45there. I called him so he could engage
- 8:48and he actually hired a private
- 8:50contractor to come and try to save the
- 8:53buildings. So they lost only a pump
- 8:56house
- 8:56>> really
- 8:57>> which is Yeah. pretty amazing. Where's
- 9:00>> that's a land or park
- 9:04>> just just south of word or word gap was
- 9:08it pop up the hill?
- 9:09>> Yeah.
- 9:09>> Yeah. any back up there like
- 9:11>> from there over to the map and from
- 9:13there
- 9:16>> they don't like.
- 9:18>> So what happened was all of a sudden
- 9:22um here came two big helicopters the
- 9:25Blackhawks
- 9:26with the snorkels.
- 9:27>> Mhm.
- 9:28>> So they put up those little portable
- 9:29pools and they had tankers feeding them.
- 9:33But then next two semiis showed up with
- 9:35jet A. So every two hours those big
- 9:38helicopters would cycle back to get fuel
- 9:40and then there was two small helicopters
- 9:42that built 407s. One of them was a
- 9:45private contractor to DNR and there was
- 9:48a contractor Fishial Wildlife the feds
- 9:51and so they were doing the same thing.
- 9:54They were coming in to get fuel and they
- 9:56were dipping out they had a bucket. They
- 9:57were doing the bucket thing.
- 9:59>> Uh but it was completely disorganized.
- 10:02The first thing they did is they tried
- 10:03to move in on on rent pad. I said,
- 10:05"Stop." Wait a minute. That's a business
- 10:08there. And the fire does not affect
- 10:10where he's flying. And so I called him
- 10:13and he said, "Absolutely. I got
- 10:15business. Don't let him on." And there's
- 10:18a million acres there for him. So they
- 10:20sort of Well, okay. So then they moved
- 10:22and they camped right in front. So they
- 10:24shut our fuel off. Okay. Which if they'd
- 10:27have moved 20 yards, we wouldn't have
- 10:29had to do that. But anyway, they took it
- 10:32over and it just wasn't organized. And
- 10:33then I had people knocking on the door.
- 10:36Oh, I need to charge my phone. Can I
- 10:38plug into your uh thinking, you have a
- 10:42vehicle, don't you? Don't you have a
- 10:43vehicle charger? Anyway, it was it was
- 10:46sort of chaos. So, I'll take on the
- 10:50first shot at drafting because the
- 10:53primary emergency that we're going to
- 10:54face is fire. So likely to be fire is
- 10:57likely to be where they'll come in and
- 11:00need to sort of and I don't they did not
- 11:03issue a note.
- 11:04>> They didn't tell.
- 11:06>> So if we just have a simple procedure
- 11:08where they issue the notm and we have a
- 11:11defined parking area for them, the
- 11:13fueling area,
- 11:14>> then we can still continue on with our
- 11:16business because it's irrigated all
- 11:18around us. That's not going to burn.
- 11:20>> No.
- 11:20>> But the fires are on the rattlesnake
- 11:22site.
- 11:23>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:23>> So, like I explained to Red that day
- 11:25when he because he called me
- 11:27>> and I was like,
- 11:28>> "What's going on?" Had no clue. So, I
- 11:31got that fixed. We have my number on.
- 11:34>> Okay.
- 11:34>> We have my number, my cell phone number
- 11:36on the website. Okay. It did have the
- 11:39office number, which come Monday, they
- 11:42did call. I didn't get back into town
- 11:44until late. And then, so Monday morning
- 11:46when I checked it, I had two missed
- 11:48messages.
- 11:49>> Yeah.
- 11:49>> But the thing is, they shouldn't attempt
- 11:52it. There's no way that they couldn't
- 11:54have figured out who to call, you know.
- 11:56Um
- 11:59county, I know deputy or now Chief Bay
- 12:02was out there. He has my cell phone
- 12:04number. Um all, you know, being with the
- 12:06Yakma County Fire that I was, they all
- 12:09have my cell phone number. So,
- 12:10>> so they could have called and we could
- 12:12have we could have got this organized
- 12:14and taken care of it. But I am going to
- 12:16be working with them and letting them
- 12:18know
- 12:18>> please do not take over airport because
- 12:20I the rest explained
- 12:22>> when he called me is we had more planes
- 12:25coming in.
- 12:26>> I think we had a medic flight that day
- 12:29>> and then like you said they're parked in
- 12:31front of our fuel system which they're
- 12:33just camped out there. Everybody was
- 12:35trying to fill up and not getting in
- 12:36there. Yeah.
- 12:37>> So I am going to be working with them.
- 12:39I'm going to let them know that we're
- 12:41going to design a program. So this is
- 12:43who you call if I'm if I can't be
- 12:46attempted because like I stated I called
- 12:49the notm right after Grant had told me
- 12:51and we got that notm done
- 12:52>> that that 407 it was the pilot was super
- 12:55polite. He was the first one to show up.
- 12:57He lands like right there and he said
- 13:00where would be a good place for me to
- 13:01set up cuz I'm going to have a fuel
- 13:03truck come and tend me and you know
- 13:05we're probably going to camp out
- 13:06overnight because we're going to be here
- 13:08it looks like for two days. I said,
- 13:09'Well, uh, how about the parking area
- 13:12down, you know, below there to to the
- 13:15east, and he goes, "Oh, that'd be
- 13:17perfect." So, down he goes. He went down
- 13:19there. It wasn't bothering us at all.
- 13:21The DNR guys just show up and they were
- 13:23actually starting to unload stuff in
- 13:24front of Reds.
- 13:25>> And I go, "Wait a minute. I got to talk
- 13:28to him." And so, I called and he said,
- 13:29"Absolutely not. I got stuff going on."
- 13:31And so anyway, um it it it
- 13:36I I had the same experience at a
- 13:38different airport.
- 13:40>> And so I think it's a characteristic of
- 13:42DNR.
- 13:43>> No. And I I explain to Red, they they
- 13:46they like to take over. I mean, which
- 13:48understand
- 13:49>> we understand we do have an emergency.
- 13:51There is a fire going on, but at the
- 13:53same time, we all have they have to be
- 13:55cordial us just as we're cordial to
- 13:57them. But um it's all in a mutual
- 13:59respect. I don't think it it's wonderful
- 14:00to be here as a resource, the support. I
- 14:04got to tell you, if I was going to rate
- 14:07what they did on the fire, I'd give them
- 14:09a good grade overall.
- 14:11>> They did throw the big resources at it
- 14:13until it got away from it,
- 14:14>> which is classic because it's not
- 14:16categorized as a high threat until it
- 14:19gets away from them. And then they when
- 14:21they brought in those heavy tankers, the
- 14:23big twins and the jets, they were coming
- 14:26overhead from the airport like every
- 14:28five or six minutes. And I've got I I
- 14:32went up and shot about 600 aerial photos
- 14:34of the whole burn. And you can see where
- 14:37they saved individual houses by making
- 14:40like a hashtag. One pass, one pass, one
- 14:43pass, one pass. Just a perfect square
- 14:46sitting right on top of them. And
- 14:47there's the house and everything's
- 14:49clean. didn't uh locate Proser.
- 14:52>> That was my next That was my next
- 14:53question when I try to get a hold of him
- 14:55is why didn't they go to Proer? Because
- 14:57the river's right there.
- 14:59>> It's a lot closer to Gat.
- 15:01>> Yeah.
- 15:01>> Of course. Of course. The fire started
- 15:02over here.
- 15:03>> It started over here. Yeah. It started
- 15:05in Mton off of like
- 15:08>> this way
- 15:09>> about 9 or 10 miles west of Baptist
- 15:18about halfway. I'm going to say this.
- 15:19>> You can see the origin. I've got aerial
- 15:21photos of it,
- 15:22>> but once it took off, you know.
- 15:26>> Yeah. And those high winds, natural
- 15:29covering grass, once it takes off with
- 15:30that high winds, it's going to take off.
- 15:32>> Humidity was in the teens. Temperatures
- 15:34were in the 90s.
- 15:35>> This is nightmare on Elm Street.
- 15:37>> Yeah.
- 15:37>> But I I was proud of them because they
- 15:39sent two super scoopers. Mhm.
- 15:42>> So those came from Wan that
- 15:45they sent two big uh dash8s.
- 15:48>> Mhm.
- 15:48>> Those came out of Moses Lake and they
- 15:51sent four of the uh air bosses the fire
- 15:55bosses [clears throat]
- 15:57>> plus I think there were seven
- 15:58helicopters working that fire. So they
- 16:01had a heck of an aerial uh force there
- 16:04working on it. And I I give them a lot
- 16:06of credit when you go look at how it
- 16:07burned. They kept finishing it in. They
- 16:09couldn't shut it off, but they kept
- 16:11pitching in so it didn't turn and run
- 16:13sort of either direction.
- 16:16They did the best they could.
- 16:18>> Uh, Hector, I was just going to comment
- 16:21down at the airport.
- 16:22>> Mhm.
- 16:23>> Thanks to Mr. Dolan,
- 16:25natur
- 16:29>> right there.
- 16:29>> Right there. And the Lexan that's on it
- 16:33needs to be replaced. It's been there
- 16:35for 15 years.
- 16:36>> 20 20. Time goes fast. But anyway, that
- 16:41would be an ideal spot because there is
- 16:43nothing behind those
- 16:47plastic and that' be an ideal spot in
- 16:49case of emergency.
- 16:50>> Here's what you did.
- 16:53>> That's a great idea.
- 16:54>> Yeah,
- 16:55>> that's just it's so logical. Yeah,
- 16:58>> I mean the billboard's there. It's just
- 17:00a matter of changing those Lexan panels
- 17:03out.
- 17:03>> I mean, it might be out 100 bucks.
- 17:05>> I bet. Yeah.
- 17:07>> Yeah. We we ran power off the off the
- 17:10hanger, I think.
- 17:11>> Yeah, we did. Yeah, there's power like
- 17:14>> big problem.
- 17:16>> Yeah, that's when J. Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:18>> Yeah.
- 17:19>> Our rotor was the one that did the
- 17:21restroom.
- 17:21>> Oh, I still have that Mercury for you.
- 17:23You know, I can't do anything with it.
- 17:28>> So, yeah. No, that's a great idea. Yeah,
- 17:30we'll we'll get something there to um
- 17:33form that out. Oh,
- 17:35>> and I don't have any excuse, you know,
- 17:37it's it's right there.
- 17:40>> So, um I raised an issue over the drone
- 17:43activity. There was a correct and um
- 17:48legible, accurate.
- 17:49>> Do we have an
- 17:51>> Do we have an agenda we're working off?
- 17:52I must have missed it or something right
- 17:54here
- 17:58at the bottom.
- 17:59>> Yes, there you are. Right here. Okay.
- 18:02Thank you. Thank you. Yeah.
- 18:05Sorry, I I don't don't So I I knew there
- 18:09was drone activity. I saw the notam. The
- 18:13drone's large. I mean, this is a three
- 18:15three and a half foot
- 18:17>> quadcot. It's a big boy. It's probably
- 18:1965 75 pounds.
- 18:21>> Now, if you're going 120 mph in an
- 18:24airplane and you hit that, that's a
- 18:26really bad day for both the drone and
- 18:28the the airplane was in the airplane.
- 18:31And what caught my attention was I
- 18:34happened to be getting a te and I was
- 18:35upstairs I see a a guy come overhead in
- 18:39the pattern. He was landing on 07 as
- 18:42turbo lance
- 18:44and I was just you know every pilot
- 18:45watches the other guy land is what you
- 18:47do. He was making a nice landing. All of
- 18:49a sudden I saw something close to me go
- 18:53by. It's the drone. The drone went over
- 18:55is about eight or nine feet above the
- 18:56runway right where this guy was coming.
- 18:59And apparently the drone operator saw
- 19:02him and went [snorts] and he addled off
- 19:05in a hurry, but I mentioned it to him
- 19:08when he pulled up to the pump. And then
- 19:10the next airplane in was a 150 out of
- 19:13Pasco Bergstrom with a CFI in the right
- 19:17seat and a student pilot in the left
- 19:18seat.
- 19:20And I same thing again, the drone was
- 19:23actually over the taxi way, not over the
- 19:25runway. And again, when the aircraft got
- 19:28within, I would say 300 yards, the drone
- 19:31departed from the airspace, and I'm sure
- 19:34they had a legit thing and it was
- 19:36published ahead of time. But that CFI
- 19:38was mad.
- 19:40And who is he mad at? He's mad at
- 19:42himself because his student starts
- 19:43asking him,
- 19:44>> "Well, how come you didn't check the No.
- 19:48>> Okay. What was what was the drone doing
- 19:50on the airplane?" [clears throat] Who's
- 19:51was it
- 19:51>> surveying? It was one of the engineering
- 19:53guys.
- 19:54>> Oh, no. They've used the drone. It has
- 19:57GPS and it it
- 20:00>> they they use it in the mapping thing
- 20:01for images.
- 20:03>> Fencing or
- 20:04>> Yes,
- 20:05>> I think for the fencing, but I'm not I
- 20:07can't figure out why he was over the
- 20:08runway
- 20:09>> and then he was on your pad for a while,
- 20:11then he went down the taxi way. Maybe
- 20:14they were mapping the whole airport for
- 20:17the all those white they painted
- 20:20>> those orange spots.
- 20:21>> It's unusual to see them at 8 to 10
- 20:23feet. Normally they're up at like 60 or
- 20:2580 feet so wide angle cameras they can
- 20:28capture you know they were down like if
- 20:31they [clears throat] heard the telephone
- 20:32they close
- 20:35when Lucia or Adam know that they were
- 20:38there
- 20:38>> Adam are you still on
- 20:40>> Yeah he's there take your mic off
- 20:45>> that wasn't our drone there I asked the
- 20:46CO we weren't uh we took pictures like
- 20:49two days before but yeah that wasn't us.
- 20:51Okay.
- 20:53>> And then I'll follow up with HLA. They
- 20:55have at least notify us.
- 20:56>> They were all over that place.
- 20:58>> You have to Can you figure out who filed
- 21:00the notm?
- 21:01>> Sure you can.
- 21:02>> Yeah, you can.
- 21:03>> Yeah, there's a way to figure that out.
- 21:07>> But you I I want to admit as a pilot, I
- 21:09often go into uncontrolled fields like
- 21:11Sunnyside without looking at without
- 21:13checking for no tabs. Yeah. particularly
- 21:14if it's a place that you go like every
- 21:16week or something. It's just, you know,
- 21:19complacency habit is a bad habit. But um
- 21:23it's, you know, and I one day I flew to
- 21:26Waterville and they were painting the
- 21:27runway that day and there was a no dam.
- 21:30When I get there, I'm circling my
- 21:31client's waiting for me. Finally, I just
- 21:33called on phone and say, "I'm going to
- 21:34go land at Mansfield." So, I'm going to
- 21:36work.
- 21:38Yeah. What day was this? They were
- 21:40painting. No, what day was this? Oh,
- 21:43when they were the drones. Yeah. What
- 21:44day did I email you?
- 21:46>> Tuesday.
- 21:47>> I think so. I think it was Tuesday. Last
- 21:50week. Yeah.
- 21:52I remember the lance being there with a
- 21:55teetail.
- 21:56>> Yeah.
- 21:58I said it just was unusual to me that
- 22:01I mean it wasn't unusual that that
- 22:03somebody didn't read the note and just
- 22:05came in and landed like normal.
- 22:06>> I wouldn't have read it. But but the the
- 22:08drone would they're not very visible
- 22:10unless you're on the ground and they're
- 22:12skylighted against the sky. When you're
- 22:14up in the airplane,
- 22:16>> they're muted colors. They're not and
- 22:17and most of them do not have flashing
- 22:19lights. This one did not. Now, some of
- 22:22them do. They have a little strobe on
- 22:23them, which is really helpful. This one
- 22:26had no strobe,
- 22:28>> but they should at least let us. I mean,
- 22:30or at least myself or Adam know.
- 22:32>> Yeah, you should know about every jam
- 22:34that gets by.
- 22:34>> Yeah. You know,
- 22:35>> I didn't even know about it until like
- 22:37said when you emailed me, I was like,
- 22:38"Ah,
- 22:39>> but but that instructor was bad." Sure.
- 22:42I didn't mean to make him look bad in
- 22:43front of a student, but a student's
- 22:44like, "Well, why didn't you check for a
- 22:46note? You always tell me to."
- 22:51>> So, yeah, we all definitely let each
- 22:53other know if they were going to fly
- 22:55around there, they need to
- 22:56>> Yeah. I just I saw it was an issue that
- 22:59we should chat for about they were out
- 23:02there for
- 23:03>> several days.
- 23:05There were there were two days that I
- 23:06don't
- 23:06>> there were three days and they were they
- 23:08put white marks everywhere.
- 23:10>> Oh yeah marks they wereing I watched
- 23:13them on the cameras for
- 23:15put
- 23:16>> no the guys
- 23:19>> yeah they're getting ready for the
- 23:20fencing though that's why they were out
- 23:21there.
- 23:22>> So it answered my question that I raised
- 23:23two meetings ago about why are we
- 23:25spending 138,000 on engineering
- 23:29>> and for the fence and that explains it
- 23:32right there. That's expensive stuff. You
- 23:33got two engineers and you know they
- 23:35they've been camped out basically for
- 23:38two or three weeks to do this whole
- 23:39project. They've been there for two or
- 23:41three weeks.
- 23:42>> The engineers or the the surveyors?
- 23:45>> Well, I don't know. Sometimes
- 23:46>> the engineers wouldn't be out there. It
- 23:48just be surveyors.
- 23:49>> Yeah, it's the two guys were surveyors
- 23:52that I talked to.
- 23:53>> One day there was a third guy out there
- 23:55and they said, "Oh, that's the
- 23:56engineer."
- 23:57>> Okay. That's Stephanie who's an
- 23:58assistant to the engineer,
- 24:00>> right?
- 24:00>> Yeah.
- 24:01>> Yeah. Yeah. So, does anybody have any
- 24:03new business that they would like to
- 24:05bring to the committee to discuss?
- 24:07>> So, Adrian and I went to Wasco. We came
- 24:10back in the dark. And so, if you imagine
- 24:12the line that goes from Wasco to
- 24:14Sunnyside, so we we right at the top of
- 24:17the hill for Hill, you could see Proer's
- 24:22rotating beacon. You see the runway. You
- 24:24couldn't really see the runways very
- 24:25well, but definitely see the rotating
- 24:27beacon. And we looked and looked and at
- 24:29that time where we were at is 19 miles
- 24:32to Sunnyside. It was 19 miles to Crosser
- 24:35and I know that whole time didn't even
- 24:37exist.
- 24:38>> And so I went down and took some
- 24:40pictures the videos the other night.
- 24:42They've got a lit wind sock now which is
- 24:46that's pretty cool. You can see that
- 24:49forever. The lights are all white white
- 24:52lights.
- 24:53And so I went out I checked our lights
- 24:55and we've have two different kinds of
- 24:56bulbs. We got a frosty little bulb and
- 24:59then we have a clear.
- 25:00>> That's what you were telling me.
- 25:01>> Yeah. And so I switched them, you know,
- 25:05because the our north side of the runway
- 25:07is like a candle burning and the right
- 25:09side or the south side is like a it's
- 25:12it's brighter but not a whole bunch. But
- 25:14in comparison to Proser, Proser has
- 25:173,000 lumens. We've got 300 lumens. You
- 25:21know, that's a big difference. That's a
- 25:22big difference. Um are those LED down
- 25:24there?
- 25:25>> I don't know. I didn't I stayed 1,000
- 25:28feet from the rotating beacon and I
- 25:30filmed that and then I went down to ours
- 25:33at 1,000 ft same night and it's like our
- 25:39white is orange and our green is lime.
- 25:43Now their green light is definitely it's
- 25:47bright. Both lights are bright. D
- 25:49remember when we came back we had that
- 25:51day we went down to Idaho and Montana.
- 25:54We're looking at other planes.
- 25:55>> Oh yeah. Yeah. And you remember when we
- 25:57came back, I could not see the rotating
- 25:58beacon either.
- 25:59>> Yeah.
- 25:59>> And I did call you or I know I messaged
- 26:01you.
- 26:03>> The city sign right next to the fuel
- 26:05tank. The two pair of lights that line
- 26:07up with that.
- 26:08>> The north lights out.
- 26:11>> Yeah. I just used the GPS to line up the
- 26:13runway and come in.
- 26:14>> Yeah.
- 26:16Adrian's not coming.
- 26:19blade up there.
- 26:22>> How do we get a new vegan?
- 26:23>> I don't know if I need a new
- 26:26lens.
- 26:28>> It's either dirty or because they in in
- 26:31201
- 26:3315 I think 2015 when that thing would
- 26:36rotate. It come through the the upstairs
- 26:38and you could see it on the wall. It was
- 26:40bright. Now it's so money.
- 26:43>> Yeah, maybe it's a multiple bulb dealer
- 26:46down to one bulb or something. Lens may
- 26:48may have to be cleaned, too.
- 26:50>> But our runway been a while there. We're
- 26:52going out.
- 26:53>> Yeah.
- 26:54>> Yeah. Strobes are famous for being able
- 26:56to be seen at 15 miles.
- 26:58>> Oh, you can. Adrian says, "Where's the
- 27:00Sunnyside airport?" And I said, "Well,
- 27:01it's got to be right there. Going to be
- 27:03close." We kept flying. It's flying. And
- 27:04we're looking at Proer and it's Devon.
- 27:07We get closer and closer. She goes, "I
- 27:08still don't see it." And we're probably
- 27:10over
- 27:11Mapton by then.
- 27:13>> You just go to Proer, line up the
- 27:15Walmart, and come this way. Well, I mean
- 27:17Walmart distribution. If it wasn't for
- 27:19Walmart that new those new lights are at
- 27:21the gas station, you wouldn't know.
- 27:22>> Yeah.
- 27:23>> What time was it?
- 27:24>> This was two weeks ago.
- 27:25>> Oh jeez. Yeah. Yeah. Because we had
- 27:28Well, we had fog that one morning and it
- 27:31was it was gone by [clears throat] 8
- 27:349:00. But it was you couldn't even see
- 27:38anything down below it. I mean looking
- 27:41down and I thought, "Wow, that's thick."
- 27:42>> It's got an ice.
- 27:44This was about 8 8:30 the other night
- 27:48>> and he I says we've done this trip how
- 27:50many times we go
- 27:52you land at Bosco and then you walk down
- 27:54the hill and you go to that cavern they
- 27:55got good burgers and stuff so we
- 27:59>> yeah really cool you can actually taxi
- 28:02here
- 28:04>> you can you could if you want the runway
- 28:07comes right off and goes right right
- 28:09down the hill but uh anyway the
- 28:14That process is well that wind sock
- 28:20that's prock.
- 28:22>> Oh jeez.
- 28:22>> Yeah, you can really see that dude.
- 28:24>> Let me hear that LEDs.
- 28:26>> That's just a lit.
- 28:28>> Oh jeez.
- 28:29>> Yeah.
- 28:30>> And the runway lights are but I think
- 28:32they just they worked on that runway
- 28:34here what two months ago
- 28:37>> because they had no set process. They
- 28:38had it shut down and I think they put in
- 28:40all new lights.
- 28:42>> Yeah. They not fit. I remember there was
- 28:44a there was a crew over there working.
- 28:47They did put new lights in.
- 28:48>> But that that uh beacon is
- 28:52>> way if you can go different pictures and
- 28:55just take that dude
- 28:58>> and then you go you go to Sunnyside it's
- 29:01just like thousand feet from there from
- 29:04the rotation of vegan sunny side is
- 29:05about well it's past yorns. It's
- 29:10the biggest pass of 7,500 yards past
- 29:12your I sat there and I it's like this is
- 29:14a joke and so I went to the other end
- 29:16which towards almost to the end is
- 29:18another thousand ft from the rotating
- 29:21beacon and it's
- 29:23they make a [clears throat]
- 29:26they call it beehive and it's um all
- 29:28LEDs the whole picture is LED so if we
- 29:32went out and tried that sometime
- 29:35>> does the city [clears throat] have a
- 29:36budget for the report money in the
- 29:39budget.
- 29:39>> We have a budget, but it doesn't have
- 29:41any numbers on it.
- 29:43>> Our our wind saw, you know, we're old
- 29:46school. We got the H hallogens point
- 29:48down at it and it's
- 29:51you can't see it when you go top. I
- 29:54don't even I don't fly at night stuff.
- 29:57And I leave here in the dark. I go to
- 29:59Royal, but I don't even look at that
- 30:00stuff. And I am getting comments from
- 30:02pilots about the camera. A lot of them
- 30:05said, "Oh, you know, look kind of
- 30:06sketchy." So I went on and looked at the
- 30:08camera. I look okay. So I come on down
- 30:11by the fuel. Yeah,
- 30:14that works pretty good. That's okay. I
- 30:17mean, when it's raining on a day like
- 30:19today, sunny side. [clears throat]
- 30:22>> Well, yeah, that's that's the the
- 30:24irrigation
- 30:26issue. But in case you're wondering,
- 30:28>> if anybody's if any guys are coming
- 30:30back, want to come back and you can't
- 30:32get on the cameras, call me because I
- 30:33get on my camera and let you know. Oh,
- 30:35it's great.
- 30:37>> Come on back.
- 30:39>> I can't see anything.
- 30:42>> I I went up we came over a tan and you
- 30:46know it was all black. I was looking
- 30:47down because at night
- 30:51what do you see? Nothing.
- 30:52>> Yeah.
- 30:52>> You know, and then all of a sudden it's
- 30:55going over the top of that thing.
- 30:58That's what would be nice is to go the
- 31:01big Vox because you could put one on the
- 31:04[clears throat]
- 31:05by rotating I mean by the wind sock and
- 31:08it probably light that thing
- 31:11>> those white light they use them a lot in
- 31:13the construction
- 31:15the iron workers use them a lot up
- 31:18>> well LEDs have just changed everything
- 31:19for lighting
- 31:20>> oh it's just in their so low you don't
- 31:23use
- 31:24>> they just run forever yeah
- 31:27>> you put 15 string strings on our little
- 31:29Christmas tree float that's mounted on a
- 31:32zeroturn mower. You might see it, but we
- 31:35had 15 strings on there and it was run
- 31:37by a little Honda 2000 generator inside
- 31:40there out the back and
- 31:42>> yeah,
- 31:43>> it didn't even come out of idle. All
- 31:45that the music, you know, the and the
- 31:48incredible. I thought, man, this these
- 31:50LEDs are great.
- 31:51>> We got power. Yeah, we have Patrick got
- 31:53lights on. We just need a lid and sock.
- 31:57I do away with that.
- 31:59>> Do they do they that one that you have a
- 32:01picture of is that that's in Proer?
- 32:03>> Yeah.
- 32:05>> Find out.
- 32:06>> This is the time of year that I'm
- 32:07starting to do nightfall.
- 32:09>> Yeah, it's nice. I run out of daytime.
- 32:12Yeah.
- 32:12>> Yeah. Run out of daytime. So at the
- 32:14equinox at halfway point
- 32:17>> better than daytime. I told Hector, I
- 32:19said, "If you guys buy the bulbs, I
- 32:21mean, it's literally, it takes
- 32:2430 seconds, pop that clamp off,
- 32:28take the lens off, unscrew the bulb, put
- 32:30the new bulb in, put it back together,
- 32:32onto the next. You could do two guys
- 32:34could do that.
- 32:35>> Yeah, you can do that in an hour.
- 32:37Replace every one of those poles.
- 32:39>> Yeah, I'm I can run out and take a look
- 32:40at them. I mean, I the I tone somewhere
- 32:45else.
- 32:47[laughter] Here you can buy it right
- 32:49online. Blade wind socks.
- 32:51>> That's a That's a two bulb we got.
- 32:53>> Oh jeez.
- 32:54>> Yeah, we got to go to LED.
- 32:57>> LEDs make sense.
- 32:59>> Okay. This one does the one that Thomas
- 33:02Edison made. [laughter]
- 33:04>> They actually screw in. They don't.
- 33:06>> Yeah. This the clear one. The the
- 33:09frosted one says nothing on the top. The
- 33:11clear one says something about
- 33:13>> it has an aviation marking on it.
- 33:15>> Oh, it does. So, I don't know if it's a
- 33:16special bulb or what, but
- 33:18>> a real thick filament. Maybe
- 33:19>> he told me that there's a box somewhere
- 33:22or not box, a room somewhere that had it
- 33:25was full of these bulbs.
- 33:26>> Alvarez.
- 33:27>> Yeah.
- 33:28>> Oh, I'll go talk to him.
- 33:29>> He says, but I don't that he says it's
- 33:31been a few years ago.
- 33:32>> Well, and those would work until we
- 33:34figure out better. Myself, I'm sold on
- 33:36LEDs. So,
- 33:37>> Oh, yeah.
- 33:38>> We get we get the chance. Well,
- 33:41>> I don't think it has to be anything
- 33:43special. just a normal LED bulb, you can
- 33:45just screw it in and be done. But
- 33:46>> well, some of them, but you can get a
- 33:48real high output.
- 33:51Most a lot of them will work off of a
- 33:53off of a transformer and then you can
- 33:56really get very neat. But um because you
- 33:59have like the beehives, they just plug
- 34:01in 110
- 34:03there. There's a lot of uh issues with
- 34:07routing. That's processor's lights.
- 34:10Yeah. Runway lights. Ours are like
- 34:13candles. That's like true.
- 34:16>> That's that lit.
- 34:18>> Yeah.
- 34:22>> Can we have Adam give us an update on
- 34:23the hanger?
- 34:25>> I'll get a internet quote on
- 34:29our next Adam.
- 34:31>> Oh, well, uh, the update is, uh, we're
- 34:34still waiting for an environmental
- 34:35review. Uh, calling Agnes every week.
- 34:39Hector, I'm calling you every week. uh
- 34:42trying to push on everyone if we can
- 34:43maybe get a another conference call
- 34:45scheduled with them. You know, sounds
- 34:47like Laura is supposed to get back to us
- 34:49there for the environmental, but uh
- 34:51yeah, had a meeting with Mountain
- 34:53States. They're ready to roll and all
- 34:54the equipment's all the materials there
- 34:56ready to wreck this thing. So, just need
- 34:58a pore foundation, but um yeah, a little
- 35:01frustrating.
- 35:03>> Adam is I noticed one of those biffold
- 35:06doors has a walkthrough door and only
- 35:08one of them. Only one.
- 35:10>> So, is that going to be the entry for
- 35:12the whole hanger?
- 35:14>> No, each one should have one. So, I'll
- 35:16take a look at that.
- 35:17>> One of them has a door on, the other
- 35:18ones don't.
- 35:21>> Yeah, each one.
- 35:23>> Yeah. One's got a white, one stacked.
- 35:24So, there's two or three standing up. I
- 35:26think three standing up, two
- 35:28[clears throat] laying down. One of the
- 35:29ones laying down has a walk through
- 35:30door. I drove over there and looked at
- 35:32it today.
- 35:33>> Okay. Yeah, I'll go talk to Mountain
- 35:35States on that and we'll go walk it real
- 35:36quick. So, we need to order something or
- 35:39cut it in somehow. See what their plan
- 35:41is.
- 35:42>> That's going to be partitioned off on
- 35:44the inside, right?
- 35:45>> Yes.
- 35:45>> So, you can't get from bay to bay to
- 35:47bay. Corre correct. Yeah.
- 35:50>> I'll uh request a meeting with Angus
- 35:54tomorrow. Um I got to have two meetings
- 35:57with her. So,
- 35:59>> I will definitely and then I I'll email
- 36:01you. I'll put you on the email once I
- 36:03email her in the morning.
- 36:05>> Yeah. Kind of. Yeah. keep pushing them
- 36:07along. So,
- 36:10>> thanks Hector.
- 36:15>> Thanks.
- 36:17>> Where was your What was your
- 36:22>> Where you at on this courtesy vehicle?
- 36:26>> Vehicle is I have to contact another
- 36:28insurance. our insurance will not cover
- 36:30the
- 36:31>> might say Monica I think might be able
- 36:34to do something that and I talked to a
- 36:36pilot they were fueling up and I said
- 36:39yeah we'd like to do a flying one
- 36:44oh that would be so great you know
- 36:46>> oh add to the airports has courtesy car
- 36:50a community that's onetenth the size of
- 36:52sunny side Lopez island where I was this
- 36:54morning
- 36:55>> they have a courtesy car
- 36:58>> and uh You know, it's just a rural small
- 37:00island. So,
- 37:02>> and that's what I noticed when while we
- 37:04were doing a little project for Ted out
- 37:06there one time.
- 37:10>> We had dwell on that too much. In fact,
- 37:14>> but we uh we had planes coming in and as
- 37:18one girl drops in there and puts her
- 37:20cover on and right as she finishes, this
- 37:23car pulls up, picks you up, takes off.
- 37:26Thought, "Wow, that'd be neat to have a
- 37:28things set up ahead of time to where
- 37:31pilot comes in, you can just call or
- 37:34have there,
- 37:36you know, accessible there because then
- 37:39if you're registered and you check in,
- 37:41then your insurance covers,
- 37:44you know, run into town and
- 37:47so
- 37:50quite a few guys since I got put on this
- 37:52on this thing. I was pretty amused. A
- 37:54gentleman about my age uh flew in a
- 37:57little Highlander, little two seat sport
- 38:00class airplane and lots of contortions
- 38:04and stuff going on. He pulls out this
- 38:05folding bicycle from the back seat, gets
- 38:09it assembled, off he goes on his and
- 38:13about 35 minutes later comes back with
- 38:16like two Omar bags on each handlebar,
- 38:19you know,
- 38:21>> electric bikes, you know. Yeah, a lot of
- 38:23them are electric, but uh this is
- 38:26>> this is I never seen anybody do that
- 38:28before to go over to the Walmart and
- 38:30shop.
- 38:31>> Yeah.
- 38:32>> Like do they live in their airplane or
- 38:33you know if they have a house?
- 38:35>> Well, they probably remote, you know,
- 38:36like Wasco or somewhere not a Walmart.
- 38:41>> Well, that the one we did um
- 38:45it was just a barbecue and the cars and
- 38:47the music and stuff. We had a little
- 38:50party out there one time and I was well
- 38:52attended and this guy says, "Oh, we'd
- 38:54spread the word and get everybody with a
- 38:57set of wings coming in here and we're
- 38:59all excited about." So, I mentioned it
- 39:02at council meeting and then I thought,
- 39:04well, it's getting what time of year is
- 39:07it going to be the best to do something
- 39:08like that? But we put together a big
- 39:11barbecue out there and start cooking 30
- 39:1340 hamburgers.
- 39:16Yeah. to get around mall. That was kind
- 39:19of fun. That's when uh
- 39:22um
- 39:24what's his name? He's over in wall now.
- 39:29>> He was Jake.
- 39:30>> Oh, J.
- 39:33>> We we did a and this probably 30 years
- 39:35ago. We did a a
- 39:38young young eagles, you know, this
- 39:41program for kids to learn or just get
- 39:43exposure in a plane. Mhm.
- 39:45>> And the group from Yakma came down. I
- 39:47think we had about 10 or 15 planes just
- 39:49flying kids.
- 39:50>> Yeah. And we flew probably 60 or 80
- 39:53people kids out and kids get a free ride
- 39:56in an airplane and put two or three in a
- 39:58plane. I'll keep going [clears throat]
- 40:00fly them around. You read the EAA
- 40:03publications, the experimental aircraft
- 40:05association. They they sponsor a lot of
- 40:08these Eagle Day type things and then
- 40:11they do interviews.
- 40:13Apparently, they take their email or
- 40:15their phone numbers or something and
- 40:17they follow up. And it's surprising like
- 40:2010% of the people that get in the
- 40:22airplane for the first time when become
- 40:26trained pilots.
- 40:26>> Yeah.
- 40:27>> 10% of kids are adults.
- 40:30>> That's from the the the young eagle.
- 40:32>> Yeah. When they first get in, it's it's
- 40:34probably a lot lower scared to death.
- 40:38Well, we didn't bear it.
- 40:42>> But there was there was one girl that I
- 40:44I know of and she actually airline.
- 40:47>> Good for her. Yeah.
- 40:50>> Yeah. We had a gal come. It was 98
- 40:53degrees. She comes walking down the taxi
- 40:56way. It's at 4:00 in the afternoon.
- 40:59She's got her drink in one hand. She's
- 41:01got a pet carrier in the other hand. I
- 41:04had to go out. I had to see what's this
- 41:05story. And did you see her on the
- 41:07camera?
- 41:08>> It's about three weeks ago. And so I
- 41:11went out see if I could help her and she
- 41:12goes, "I got flat tire."
- 41:14>> Oh yeah.
- 41:14>> I bought this airplane. It's my third
- 41:16flight in this airplane and I got a flat
- 41:19tire. So I said, "Well, let me go get my
- 41:20air pump. I'll see if I can inflate it
- 41:22up." And the tube was bad. It turned out
- 41:25the tire was also bad. Called the guy
- 41:28from from the FBO in Yakaba. came
- 41:34whistling down and he and I and her we
- 41:37got it changed in like 35 minutes, you
- 41:39know, and got her on her way. But, you
- 41:42know, she was just kind of an unassuming
- 41:44maybe 40ish uh slim gal and she finally
- 41:48let out who goes, "Well, I'm a senior
- 41:50captain. I fly trip 7s to China for
- 41:53United once a week and my husband flies
- 41:56whatever equipment, etc." So, people's
- 42:00appearances are sometimes misleading.
- 42:02Yeah,
- 42:03>> but she did mention I asked her, "Well,
- 42:05how'd you get into piloting?" She goes,
- 42:06"Well,
- 42:08I went down to this local airport and
- 42:10they were giving rides." So, I said, "I
- 42:12got a ride." And thought to myself, "I
- 42:15need to do this." You know, so come to
- 42:19that fork in the road like Yo Bar says,
- 42:21you come to that fork of the road, you
- 42:22take it.
- 42:26Is there anything else? Anybody wants to
- 42:28draw on the Ben new business?
- 42:35You just hold your pen up.
- 42:37>> Yeah.
- 42:39Go ahead.
- 42:41>> No, I just wanted to go.
- 42:42>> Well, I think we can adjourn if that's
- 42:45it. We're going to discuss uh next
- 42:47meeting.
- 42:49Do you want to try and send it or do you
- 42:50want to do a poll by email?
- 42:53>> Uh it's up it's up to everybody. I mean,
- 42:56we can we can set it now or does
- 42:58everybody want to go monthto month or do
- 43:00we want to go every other month?
- 43:02>> Right now, every other month would cover
- 43:03it. Does anybody
- 43:04>> Well, I'm just kind of wondering if want
- 43:07if we want to talk about it lighting
- 43:08wind socks, that kind of stuff.
- 43:10>> We can.
- 43:10>> I think we ought to be
- 43:11>> and we should do it on a month basis
- 43:13>> next month until we get get lighting out
- 43:15the airport. Okay.
- 43:16>> And then also uh the hanger hanger
- 43:19business we need to, you [clears throat]
- 43:20know, keep on that one. I don't know whe
- 43:21they're a month away.
- 43:22>> Well, we're pushing the hanger there is
- 43:25FAA.
- 43:25>> Okay.
- 43:26>> Yeah. Okay. That's where I'm That's
- 43:28where I'm at. It's crossroad with that
- 43:29one. It's all on FAA getting that
- 43:31environmental uh checklist back
- 43:34>> with the funding if we're okay as far
- 43:37going into next year.
- 43:38>> Yes. Good. Good. Good.
- 43:40>> But the funding is going to run out for
- 43:42the hanger bill.
- 43:43>> When does it have to be done?
- 43:45>> I I don't know. I think it's fine. I
- 43:46think we're okay. What I'm getting at is
- 43:48since we changed it, there's a change
- 43:50order for all that rock to come in.
- 43:52>> Yeah, there's not going to be any
- 43:54electricity.
- 43:56>> We went back to the original ALP. We're
- 43:59not putting it over. So,
- 44:01>> so now we're running north south.
- 44:03>> We're going to go back to the original.
- 44:05And then I am working on with Angus
- 44:08hopefully that I can get some asphalt
- 44:10money. Then we can get that Um,
- 44:14it's a little bit hard. Um she's
- 44:17she's Angus. So I am working on that and
- 44:21[clears throat] so um it is
- 44:23>> she noticed a public meeting.
- 44:25>> Yes.
- 44:26>> She's doing great.
- 44:27>> She's doing awesome. Love Angus.
- 44:29Actually she said she wants to come down
- 44:31and visit. So
- 44:32>> I told her I told her up.
- 44:36>> So the 20th is
- 44:37>> you can't turn her down.
- 44:39>> 20th is four weeks out. You want to try
- 44:41and aim for the 20th? We can do that. We
- 44:43typically don't do
- 44:46November, December, and January, right?
- 44:48>> Yeah. Yeah, we typically don't. So,
- 44:50we'll add everything into October.
- 44:52>> Yeah. Whatever we need.
- 44:54>> Is 5:30 a workable time for everybody?
- 44:56>> Yeah.
- 44:58>> Just you know, when normally uh you
- 45:01know, Adrian is here, but he doesn't get
- 45:03off work until like 5:15.
- 45:07>> So, 5:30.
- 45:07>> That's why we moved to the 5:30.
- 45:09>> Yeah. Because we had a time.
- 45:10>> Yeah. They had a locom and now he's gone
- 45:13and so it's back to I think two two and
- 45:15so he's they're having to double up on
- 45:17their on call.
- 45:19>> Okay.
- 45:19>> So he's 10 days and then he gets I think
- 45:2210 days and it's 10 days. It's a lot
- 45:25more screwed up now
- 45:26>> without that third surgery.
- 45:28>> Well 530 works good for me if that works
- 45:30for everybody else. Let's just aim for
- 45:32the 20th 530.
- 45:40Oh, that purple light's got to go over
- 45:44the fuel.
- 45:45>> That thing is causing
- 45:46>> That's ours though, isn't it? That's a
- 45:48city.
- 45:48>> Oh, that's peeping.
- 45:49>> Is that keeping up? And I called them
- 45:51and I put I Okay,
- 45:53>> that was my mistake. I called them. I
- 45:55should have emailed them like I did last
- 45:57time.
- 45:57>> I pulled through there
- 46:01three or four nights, five minutes, but
- 46:02there was like a young guy there trying
- 46:04to get fuel. It was dark. It was about
- 46:0610:30, 11:00. I was like, "What are
- 46:08you?" But anyway, he was trying to look
- 46:10at his card and get it get fuel and
- 46:13stuff and that purple lights that's got
- 46:16to go.
- 46:17>> That wasn't that wasn't put in by the
- 46:19city cuz they changed a lot of them.
- 46:24>> Well, we got those those new ones. I say
- 46:26new, it's been several years now.
- 46:28They're really bright and they're tilted
- 46:29in a way that, you know, so it doesn't
- 46:32>> my mine on the front of my hanger is
- 46:34really bright and I just leave it like
- 46:36that because yours is so dark. But that
- 46:38light above t we get more light off the
- 46:41city side as we off the accent light.
- 46:45>> That needs to be taken care of.
- 46:47>> I will go out there and get that number
- 46:49again um of the boat. So
- 46:52>> tell me to bring out that bucket truck.
- 46:53I'll get up there and fix that rotate.
- 46:55>> You think that light?
- 46:58>> It's got a It's got a plate on it
- 47:00because I've given him I give Shane. No,
- 47:02not Shane.
- 47:03>> Yeah, I did give Shane. I was thinking
- 47:05of the one after. Who was after Shane?
- 47:08wrong. I gave him the the number.
- 47:10There's a number right on the pole side
- 47:12Ted's tank.
- 47:13>> Give me that one. That's the one I need.
- 47:15>> So that's why I just I didn't give him
- 47:17the phone. I just said this the airport
- 47:19and they were like, "Okay, Sunnyside
- 47:21airport.
- 47:22>> We need it." Oh, now it's out. Somebody
- 47:24shot it with their [clears throat]
- 47:26>> gun. They've been using
- 47:29They've been using rockets lately. I
- 47:32don't know if that's even
- 47:34reminded of public meeting.
- 47:37That was not
- 47:39my ex. [laughter]
- 47:43>> Well, thanks everybody for coming,
- 47:44contributing. Thank you to our viewers.
- 47:49October 20th, 5:30
- 47:52October 20th.
- 47:56>> Reminder of the prior week.
- 47:58>> Yes,
- 47:59we will do that.
- 48:02>> That's a Sunday.
- 48:04>> October.
- 48:05>> No, just kidding. Oh,
- 48:10I didn't go.
- 48:12>> Yes, sir.
- 48:14I had I I'm going to take a picture when
- 48:17I load all their stuff back in because
- 48:19these two boys are about my files
- 48:22and each of them had a bucket five
- 48:24gallons.
