0:01going to create wealth and don't be
0:05caught up in this catch when money's not
0:07everything money's not everything of
0:09course it's not but there's nothing that
0:12will compare with it it's something you
0:15can measure you can measure it to the
0:16penny it's that's very important it's
0:19not like like your health you can't
0:22measure your health you say that's more
0:24important than money but it's it said
0:25you're talking different things you can
0:27go to a doctor and doctor can give you a
0:29clean bill of health and walk out and
0:30drop dead that's happened to lots of
0:32people so you can't measure that but
0:35money you can measure right to the penny
0:37you'll know if you're doing better
0:40money's not going to make you a better
0:41person
0:42money's gonna make you more of what you
0:43already are if you're not a nice person
0:45you'll probably become despicable if you
0:47are a nice person you're gonna become a
0:48lot nicer because money is a magnifier
0:51money is an instrument that enables you
0:54to extend the good you can do far beyond
0:56your own presence when sandy and I
0:58decided that we were going to give money
1:00to sue
1:02Cynthia's organization then we got
1:05excited about it and and we just keep up
1:08in the ante but the kids that are
1:11getting educated they're getting clean
1:13water and they're getting nutritious
1:15food and proper medical and they're
1:17getting educated and under excited going
1:19to school thousands of them now that
1:22that makes me feel good I've got a
1:26picture in my office that I look at
1:28frequently where all these little kids
1:31are reading our books and studying our
1:33material well there's two things that
1:35you have to know if you really want to
1:37create wealth one you have to know where
1:39you are and the other one you have to
1:40know where you're going and then you've
1:42got to get moving now that is so simple
1:44you see it's like you squares is your
1:47squares a simple concept just
1:49beautifully written but it is a very
1:50simple concept this is so simple you
1:57have to ask why are so many people stuck
2:01yet they're stuck they're clearly stuck
2:04don't get the same results now as they
2:07were a year ago
2:11I remember dropping by my uncle and
2:14uncle's house they're gone now god bless
2:16them but I used to drop by their visit
2:19every now and then they're the whole
2:20Hospital kids and and he was working
2:23overtime every night trying to make
2:25enough just to get by didn't have a car
2:28had to go all the way across Toronto big
2:31city on public transportation worked
2:33overtime every night just earn enough to
2:36get by left a very ordinary life I
2:43dropped by one Christmas and they're
2:46rushing around to get credit cards and
2:48all the big stores so they could buy the
2:51kids Christmas presents and remember
2:54don't say no I don't never mind next
2:56year I'll be different they looked at
2:58him I said you want to know something
2:59done you're full of crap
3:02next year it's gonna be exactly the same
3:05as this year because you never change
3:07boys I don't start that stuff on me
3:10properly I said why don't you change he
3:18knew I changed I changed like night and
3:20day he knew me when I was losing now
3:27they were paid every two weeks they had
3:31budgeted to live on this pay so three
3:38times a year he got three pays in a
3:41month that third pay was always an extra
3:48pay they just said that they're gonna
3:51come to a seminar I was doing seminars
3:54at the Hyatt in downtown Toronto every
3:57Tuesday night for eight weeks two and a
3:59half I was 93 hours a night for eight
4:01weeks I made them pay to come to the
4:05seminar they thanked me right up until
4:11their death for making them pay I
4:13noticed they didn't pay they wouldn't
4:15keep coming but I knew that money meant
4:18a lot to them
4:18and I knew that they just couldn't
4:21permit themself just to throw it away
4:23so every Tuesday night they'd come yet
4:27mark said for three weeks I had no idea
4:29what you were talking about you're not
4:32gonna vote spirit and vibration all the
4:34stuff she's I need nothing about any of
4:35that but then one day you said I want
4:40you to write a list of everything you
4:42want and she said I couldn't think of
4:47anything I wanted I had not been
4:50thinking of what I wanted since there
4:52was a young girl who was always what's
4:56Don Juan what's the kids want whenever
4:59what she wanted and she said when I
5:03started to write I couldn't stop when
5:12they died they had their own business
5:14they were millionaires they did it
5:17beautiful get a beautiful home in
5:20Florida as well as the one in Toronto
5:23and the family still run the business
5:28everything in their life changed because
5:32they change their thinking people say
5:35all our thinking stuff the thinking
5:38stuff is very important thought is the
5:41most potent form of energy there is
5:42thought waves would make cousin or
5:45cosmic waves that penetrated all time
5:47and space thought makes the laser look
5:50puny do you know that your thoughts the
5:54thoughts you think they're everywhere at
5:58the same time thought is everywhere
6:01thought waves are cosmic waves that
6:03penetrate all time in space I had the
6:08good fortune of working with shredder
6:09captain Edgar Mitchell he was a captain
6:13of the lunar landing module and one of
6:14the Apollo flights he was doing thought
6:17transference exercise was Sherman and
6:19Ford here in the southern United States
6:21from the other side of the Moon was
6:23written up in a magazine he was an
6:27interesting guy
6:27I took Maturana one time for speaking
6:30engagement
6:31it's a funny Cedric we had the whole
6:34back of was a huge big screen was just a

6:50windows and I could see the earth
6:53spinning down there in the darkness he
6:56said I had a euphoric experience he said
6:58I thank God for opening gates of heaven
7:01and let me in just for a few minutes and
7:05I followed him in the program and I said
7:07you know I had a similar experience to
7:09captain Mitchell I - out of euphoric
7:11experience and I thank God for opening
7:15the gates of hell and let me out we were
7:19travelling different directions is he
7:23but don't emerge life was never the same
7:26and neither of any of the kids they were
7:32stuck now the obvious answer to why
7:36people are stuck you say well they don't
7:38have a goal I used to say that blood I
7:41don't necessarily believe that anymore
7:42you see I have a goal it's written on
7:46the car to carry at my pocket I've done
7:48that because he'll said to do it for 58
7:51years everything I read in the car yet
7:52and now what happens you'll get a gold
7:56card when you write the gold card what
7:58you're doing is you're painting a
7:59picture with words that's our van Gogh
8:02said I dream my painting and I take my
8:04dream
8:05well you build the picture of what you
8:07want then you paint it in words now when
8:10I touch the gold card in my pocket my
8:13sensory factor touches affected a light
8:16message goes screaming through the
8:18central nervous system
8:19wait it's a group of cells in my brain
8:21they're activated and the picture of the
8:23gold flies on the screen in the mine
8:24simultaneously with me touching the card
8:27the pictures they're the only thing that
8:31can grow is that the you give energy to
8:33that's how you give energy to it well I
8:35don't think maybe everybody's got their
8:39goal particularly but I have a
8:42a lot of people do but I think everybody
8:46wants something so you could say that
8:48would constitute a cool they may not
8:50focus on it they may spend time more
8:52time thinking of why they can't have it
8:54then why they can or how they will but
8:56they do have a goal I don't think that's
8:58where the problem is this is where the
9:00problem is down here I don't think the
9:02average person knows where they are
9:05we're talking yesterday and Peter was
9:08asked me about we're talking about Who
9:09am I that lets forget Who am I for a
9:13moment where am I
9:16doesn't didn't know where he was done
9:19was stuck done was stuck in a factory
9:22working overtime just to get by never
9:25entered his mind if he changed his
9:28thinking his little world would changed
9:30never entered his mind and yet that's
9:32been stated by every great thinker fall
9:35down through history they disagreed in
9:37virtually everything else but that one
9:38point they've been completing an animus
9:41agreement and what's the problem here
9:42well people are stuck where they are
9:44because the paradigms now the average
9:48person there's no idea what a paradigm
9:49is they really don't know they don't
9:51even know they don't know I didn't know
9:57I didn't know I didn't know I was just
10:00losing I was then happy loser
10:03now fortunately somebody woke me up
10:06unfortunately not everybody wakes up
10:09I've gone into prisons in fact I'll
10:15share it with you now I went and I cut a
10:18deal with classification in Kingston
10:21Penitentiary that is maximum security in
10:23Canada and though they've closed it damn
10:27near time they closed it too it's a
10:29terrible place but anyway it was open
10:31for years and it was the deal I made
10:35that I would come in but anybody that
10:38wants to come to the meeting has to be
10:40able to come anybody they said well you
10:42can't do that Proctor and I said why not
10:44well he said some of these guys are bad
10:46guys I said no I said they just think
10:51they're bad guys and you think they're
10:52bad guys but there's no bad
10:54there's only guys and some are gone in
10:58the wrong direction and they said you
11:00don't really know what you're talking
11:01about Roger
11:02some of these guys guys they're
11:04dangerous people there was one guy and
11:06he was in solitary confinement for seven
11:10and a half years every day he was in
11:13solitary and this little cell you got
11:15one hour a day in the yard by himself
11:17one hour and I was at Joe Gardner and
11:25and he was a bad guy he shot a guy and a
11:29holdup in Windsor that's across from
11:32Detroit and just blew the guy's head off
11:35but fortunately I didn't die now if he
11:39had a died they too hung him because
11:41they were hanging people in Canada in
11:42that and he was sentenced to 27 years he
11:46had been in seven and a half years in
11:48solitary confinement and they and I said
11:52anybody that wants to come you got to be
11:54able to come and I would take coffee
11:55doughnuts and cigarettes to the meeting
11:57that's like baiting the hook and they'd
12:01all come in and and he wanted to go and
12:10they said what he did then I'm not going
12:12to come in either he kept a cup where
12:14I'm not coming you got a choice well I
12:17just wisdom prevailed and they let him
12:20come well he would sit in the back
12:22there's tables at the back and he was
12:24sitting the back swinging his legs you
12:26know eating doughnuts and drink coffee
12:28and smoking he sounded like a pig back
12:31there I mean and in the I would say
12:33something very very profound and I got
12:37crap and of course he dominated
12:41demeaning everybody's paying attention
12:43to him I'm at one side he's at the other
12:45side and I was scared of him I was
12:48really she was a big guy I mean I'm feel
12:50like a [ __ ] beside him and this went
12:54on for a couple of months I was going to
12:56in one Saturday month I maybe for three
12:59months at one time and finally
13:02and in between one time in another I
13:05mean I was scared I'm scared thinking
13:07about it and I thought I can't keep
13:09going there I've got to stop this and
13:10yet I've insisted that they let them
13:12come they warned me I'm gonna have to
13:14win and you know I was in bicha but I
13:17was in a mess but I was scared driving
13:20it's a hundred and sixty-five miles
13:21there's no traffic lights it should look
13:23just straight highway all the way from
13:25Toronto to Kingston so I was scared all
13:28the way down and I made up my mind what
13:31I was gonna do and for that hundred and
13:34sixty-five miles I'm gonna tell you I
13:36was one scared driver but I made up my
13:39mind I wasn't gonna I wasn't gonna let
13:41this guy control it so I started the
13:46meeting he started his antics and I
13:49don't know what I had in my mind hand
13:51but I put it down and I turned around
13:53and I walked right back and I stood
13:57right in front of him and I said you've
14:00got to be the dumbest bastard I've ever
14:02met
14:04I was scared and I'm gonna tell you you
14:15see this guy's body just tighten up now
14:18these guys work out you know and his
14:22face went beet red I could see his party
14:24I thought he's gonna kill me and I said
14:30I can tell that screwed open the door
14:31he's got to let me out he's gonna take
14:33you and lock you up for mud I can hurt
14:36it faster than you can steal it you're
14:38not listening to me and just as fast as
14:45he tightened up he started laughing I
14:47guess he thought this guy's crazy just
14:52applying me but he shut up I turned
14:59around and went back I was just scared I
15:02thought it was gonna go to my pants I I
15:05was really scared you've been scared
15:07well nothing like this and so any right
15:12drive him home I know strong I did it
15:18well the next month I went down he was
15:21sitting right in the front and if
15:23anybody sheltered their feet he turned
15:25look at them
15:27I got more than I bargained for
15:31he became the duty discipline officer in
15:33my meeting and everybody paid attention
15:36to me or he was going to look after them
15:42do you know I got them to let him out on
15:51a special ticket he had to report to the
15:55Toronto the city police every week and
15:56the Mounties the Federal Police every
15:59month his wife had had a little girl
16:04while he was in there there was a priest
16:08there Bobby got at that had befriended
16:11Jo and he went and talked to Edie in
16:13Windsor and got Edie to come back with
16:15Jo and he treated that little girl like
16:21was his but up until he died I went down
16:28there's a lot to be said for ignorant
16:30don't ever just left there's power in
16:33ignorance I went down to the parole
16:35board and I'm hammering on the table I
16:37said you got no right keeping this guy
16:39locked up on this parole I'm going to
16:42England open an office he's the best guy
16:44I've got I want to take him with me they
16:46tore up his program his passport he came
16:49to England Jo straight note he was the
16:56best guy I had he was Jo was probably my
16:59best friend for a long time now
17:03jo Jo passed away he he died and another
17:09fella named John canary who's on one of
17:12them the more enriched films with me he
17:15and I went down John knew Joe and we was
17:19so proud of Joe cause he straightened
17:20out and Joe's there and the you know in
17:24the box like this and John says son of a
17:27[ __ ] he's got my cuff links on
17:33so you see never completely straight no
17:38but now the reason I'm telling you that
17:41is Joe is in there because of a paradigm
17:46Joe was a crooked character Joe thought
17:52he was smarter than everybody he thought
17:56he could just walk in with a gun and
17:57take what he wanted and he ended up in
18:01this cell I went in they changed his way
18:06of thinking Joe lived in a different
18:11life paradigm is in control of you don't
18:17think it's not it is it is in control of
18:20you every day 5:00 5:30 in the morning
18:28I'm sitting and I'm ready and exercise
18:31with my left hand now I'm right-handed
18:32so this is my non-dominant hand today
18:35was 148 days we'd give him this out in a
18:38seminar and so I thought I should do
18:40that I remember I was only yet maybe 20
18:45days I was going out in the road and
18:47it's a thick book there's 365 pages in
18:50this book and so thick and it's heavy
18:52and when you're going down the road you
18:53don't look for heavy things to carry you
18:56know you look for carrying a little as
18:57possible and so my paradigms working on
19:00me while I'm writing in my book of home
19:02and I'm thinking I don't really need to
19:04take this on the road you know I could I
19:05could leave it at home I can catch up
19:07when I come back I don't need to do it
19:09every day and then the other part of me
19:12Sam Proctor your paradigms trying to
19:13talk you out of doing what you said you
19:15were gonna do you said you were gonna
19:16write everyday or whether you're on the
19:17road or not you didn't say oh just when
19:19you're at home and you see you have
19:20these conversations you're having a
19:22conversation with your paradigm that's a
19:25diamond inside of you that it talks to
19:29you that it tells you don't do that
19:33you crazy go ahead do it don't do it
19:37it's in control and you're something 97%
19:40of the time the damn thing wins it does
19:43they don't care how sophisticated you
19:45are I don't care how smart you are I
19:47don't care how religious you are I don't
19:49care about any of those things your
19:51paradigm is in control it's been
19:54programmed right into the cells in your
19:56being stop and think of how you got here
19:59a little particle of energy from little
20:04particle of energy from dad comes
20:06swimming along they were in resonance
20:10and that is the nucleus of you
20:13and then for 280 days an attractive
20:16force went to work and all of the mum's
20:20DNA in all dad's DNA we're dirty and
20:23they come from well their mother and
20:24their dad where did you go from their
20:25mothers and their dads God knows how far
20:27back this goes you're the product of
20:33other people you're the confluence of
20:37thinking that goes back for God knows
20:39how far that's who you are that's why it
20:42looks like you do that's why you've got
20:43the hair you've got that's why you're
20:45the height you are and the weight you
20:47are that's why your foot is wider narrow
20:54this it's all programmed into us that
20:59280 days later we make our debut on the
21:01planet and we become programmed by the
21:05people were surrounded by if you were
21:08taken out of an english-speaking home in
21:09New Jersey and put in a home in the
21:12suburbs of Shanghai you would grow up
21:15fluent in Chinese no knowledge of the
21:16English language you'd grow up liking
21:19their food you could come from an
21:24Italian home you wouldn't never eat
21:26Italian food you see how it works of
21:30course you could take the baby out of
21:32the suburbs or in Shanghai put them in
21:34that home in Jersey and a baby grow up
21:36fluent in English no no II think this
21:38Chinese language that's programming
21:43we're product of our environment that's
21:46why I was very through the prints third
21:48fourth fifth generation welfare
21:50recipients paradigms now ask yourself
21:56this would you feel comfortable coming
22:00up here and spending maybe fifteen or
22:03twenty minutes really explaining what a
22:05paradigm is other form how to change
22:07them there's a few of you that would
22:11probably do very well and there's some
22:13of you say well got my own one do that
22:15well this subject is so important you
22:20should learn how to do that now I don't
22:22care where you are I don't care what
22:25your social economic status says I do
22:28know this if you can hear my voice pay
22:32very close attention to this this is
22:36real and you're not gonna get it in
22:38school
