- 0:01Brothers and sisters, I would like to
- 0:03share with you a very important word
- 0:13about everything you honor, grow, and
- 0:15multiply. You know, sometimes you get
- 0:19restless with certain areas of your
- 0:21life. Pastor, I'm a little restless
- 0:24with my family, I'm a little restless
- 0:26with the ministry God has given me. I'm
- 0:28a little restless with the cell group,
- 0:30a little restless with my financial
- 0:32life. And today I would like to share
- 0:34with you the light of God's word. We
- 0:37received a word that this is the year
- 0:39of multiplication. And it's very
- 0:43important that you understand that
- 0:44there is a way for you to live, enjoy,
- 0:46and access God's multiplication in your
- 0:48life. And I would like to share with
- 0:56you a word that is a spiritual key so
- 0:58that you can grow, advance, and enjoy a
- 1:00time of growth in your life. For the
- 1:07last three Sundays I ministered a word
- 1:09preparing the church because I firmly
- 1:11believe that God is doing new things.
- 1:16God is opening new doors for us as a
- 1:18church. I shared this with my wife on
- 1:23Friday night, after I ministered and we
- 1:25shared, we prepared for this fast in a
- 1:27different way. We prepared the fast
- 1:32based on what we perceived God wanted
- 1:34to do in the church. We had many
- 1:38prophetic words here, we had appeals
- 1:40here, and God is leading us into a new
- 1:42time. You know, I'm a pastor, I was
- 1:48ordained at 28 years old, and many are
- 1:50pursuing ministerial careers alongside
- 1:52me, and I keep noticing that there are
- 1:54keys that unlock your life and keys
- 1:56that hold you back. You know, if you
- 2:01want to enter through a door, you need
- 2:03a key. And sometimes there are people
- 2:06who build an entire house but don't
- 2:07have the access key. You need to
- 2:11understand that there are keys in
- 2:12marriage, keys in raising children,
- 2:14keys in bearing fruit. You know, when
- 2:19I'm in prophetic moments, participating
- 2:21as a sheep in a conference, in a fast,
- 2:23I go to the program, Lord, I need you
- 2:25to give me light on the key that you
- 2:27are releasing these days, on God's
- 2:29perception of God's new thing. But
- 2:33there are people who sometimes come to
- 2:35a program, you go to a cell group, and
- 2:37you've become a natural person. What is
- 2:39a natural believer? He's natural in
- 2:41everything. You know, pastor, I just
- 2:45moved house. God wants to open a new
- 2:47season in your life. Don't be
- 2:49complacent about moving house. Don't be
- 2:51complacent about a job opportunity.
- 2:53Don't be complacent about a ministerial
- 2:55opportunity. These are just symbols of
- 2:58what God wants to do in your life. And
- 3:02I would like to challenge you to watch
- 3:03the words of the fast. God is opening a
- 3:07new season. You know, in the history of
- 3:12the church, the church advances, and
- 3:13those who are connected to the
- 3:15anointing of the church advance
- 3:16together. One day someone came to us
- 3:20and said, "Pastor, I'm teaching my
- 3:22children the way of God correctly, and
- 3:24I have a restlessness in my heart." I
- 3:26said, "What is it? Every morning I read
- 3:30a devotional with my children, a book
- 3:32of principles." I said, "This is
- 3:35self-destructive without the physical
- 3:37life. Because when your children become
- 3:41teenagers, this isn't imprinted on
- 3:42their lives. What leads to guarding
- 3:45your home is connecting your children
- 3:47to church life, to the purpose, to the
- 3:49movement of the Spirit. Your children
- 3:53are observing what God is, what God's
- 3:55purpose is, and what church is, not
- 3:56through devotional reading, but through
- 3:58your lives. My mother, when she arrived
- 4:03at the church, had this mindset about
- 4:05raising children, that the home was a
- 4:07place of peace, that the home was a
- 4:08place of joy, and that this would lead
- 4:10them to God's path. And my aunt also
- 4:14had this mindset, reading a little book
- 4:16to the child, closing their eyes. And
- 4:19then what happened? My mother
- 4:22understood what church is, what
- 4:23connection is, what purpose is, what it
- 4:25means to be a churchgoer, and connected
- 4:27the home to that. And there the
- 4:31children grew in the Lord. My aunt
- 4:34didn't. My aunt insisted that there was
- 4:36no need to commit, to get involved in
- 4:38things, and the children grew up and
- 4:40got lost, and everything was the same."
- 4:42From the church. If you want to protect
- 4:46your home, protect your profession,
- 4:47protect your financial life, be careful
- 4:49who your partner is. I'll say it: your
- 4:55financial life, the raising of your
- 4:57children, your ministry, and your
- 4:58spiritual life—you need to learn who
- 5:00the owner is, who owns your children,
- 5:02who owns your business. There are
- 5:07brothers here whose companies tithe,
- 5:08others don't. I want to tell you
- 5:11something. If you're going to define
- 5:15partners in your company, ask the owner
- 5:17, if God is the owner of your business.
- 5:23And I'd like to share with you a very
- 5:25important word. Everyone wants to grow,
- 5:29multiply, advance, be blessed. And I'd
- 5:34like to talk about honor in a way you
- 5:35haven't heard before. This was a
- 5:38message from Pastor Aluís. I
- 5:40contextualized it for our context here;
- 5:42he preached some time ago that
- 5:44everything you honor grows and
- 5:46multiplies. Any area of your life that
- 5:50isn't growing, you'll realize it lacks
- 5:52honor. You know, in the Bible, to honor
- 5:57means to bless. So, when you bless, you
- 6:01are honoring. When you bless the church
- 6:03, you are...Honoring the church. When
- 6:05you bless your wife, you are honoring
- 6:07her life. When you bless the cell group
- 6:10, you are honoring the cell group. And
- 6:12that is a spiritual key. In Hebrew,
- 6:16kabad means to give weight. Honor. So,
- 6:21I'm going to tell you something. Uh, to
- 6:23honor means to give weight to something
- 6:25. So, when you honor your home, honor
- 6:31your marriage, honor the church, honor
- 6:33your children, you are giving weight to
- 6:35that. And there is a promise in that
- 6:40which you give weight to, which is
- 6:41honor. That grows, multiplies, and
- 6:45flourishes in your life. So, if you
- 6:49want to experience fruitfulness, growth
- 6:51, you need to stop and think about this
- 6:53. Because sometimes you pray for your
- 6:57marriage, but you don't give weight to
- 6:59it. You pray for your cell group, but
- 7:02you don't give weight to it. You pray
- 7:05for your financial life, but you don't
- 7:07give weight to your financial life. And
- 7:10First Samuel, chapter 2, verse 30, in
- 7:13part B, says: "No need to project, it's
- 7:15not the main verse." Those who honor me
- 7:21I will honor, but those who despise me
- 7:23will be disgraced. "Look, here's a
- 7:26principle. If you honor, you will be
- 7:29honored. If you despise, you will also
- 7:31be despised. Everything you don't honor
- 7:36becomes insignificant in your life.
- 7:39This story, pastor, 'I don't have time
- 7:41for some things.' It's not that you
- 7:43don't have time, that it has no weight,
- 7:45that it's not important. 'Oh, pastor,
- 7:47no, I don't want to exercise.' It's not
- 7:49that you don't want to, that it's not
- 7:51important to you. But perhaps at some
- 7:54point you had a revelation or you had
- 7:55an insight and you started to pay
- 7:57attention to it. How many parents do
- 8:00this and lose their children? They
- 8:02start to notice their child when they
- 8:04are teenagers. They didn't honor the
- 8:07boy, didn't teach him, didn't educate
- 8:08him, didn't instill in him, didn't
- 8:10influence him. And the child grew up
- 8:13and I say: 'My God, now I have to pay
- 8:15attention.' And this word here is a
- 8:18word to awaken your life. A word of
- 8:21warning. God has called us to have a
- 8:25successful, blessed, and fruitful life.
- 8:28Say: 'Glory to God!'""We
- 8:31were called to bear fruit in all areas
- 8:33of our lives. So you need to learn to
- 8:36pay attention. I remember once I took a
- 8:42course and there was a dynamic, from
- 8:44zero to 25%, about the degree of
- 8:45attention you gave to each area of your
- 8:48life, financial, spiritual. And then
- 8:53you realize that failure is linked to a
- 8:55lack of dedication to something in your
- 8:56life. And I would like you to open your
- 9:00heart. What you give attention to is
- 9:04what your heart holds. What you grow in
- 9:07your life is what you give attention to
- 9:09. One day someone said: 'Pastor, what
- 9:12is the ministerial secret?'""And people
- 9:14look at you and see what your life is
- 9:16like. What's the secret to raising
- 9:18children? Giving your life for your
- 9:20children. What's the secret to
- 9:21leadership? Giving your life for
- 9:23leadership. What's the secret to
- 9:24prospering? Paying attention to
- 9:27prosperity, but sometimes laziness,
- 9:29lack of revelation, lack of positioning
- 9:31, you know? Everything you honor is
- 9:35strengthened. What God blesses
- 9:39flourishes and bears fruit. God is
- 9:43taking this church to a new dimension.
- 9:48God is taking our families to a new
- 9:50dimension. God is taking our financial
- 9:54lives to another dimension. And it's
- 9:58time to pay attention. There's a
- 10:00brother here in the church, pastor, I'm
- 10:02pastor, a very big financial struggle.
- 10:04He went into e-commerce and in one
- 10:06month he sold R $ 7,000. I said: 'Isn't
- 10:09it time for you to pay attention to
- 10:11what you've never done in your life and
- 10:13God himself is taking your life down a
- 10:15different path?'""But be careful not to
- 10:18put your life on a path where God isn't
- 10:19. That's why the life of a man and
- 10:23woman of God is a life with God, not a
- 10:25life of opportunities. Because that
- 10:28door might only be to provide for you
- 10:30this month, or it might be a new
- 10:32direction in your life. That's why our
- 10:35life is a life with God. Let's say,
- 10:38brother, be careful with opportunities.
- 10:40Without a life with God, it's a tragedy
- 10:42. And five points here: honor. Five
- 10:48principles of honor. To honor is to
- 10:51give weight to what God considers
- 10:52important. First Samuel, chapter 2,
- 10:58verse 30. God had given Eli a promise
- 11:01that God's presence would permeate his
- 11:03house every day. It's the only context
- 11:08in the Bible where God went back on a
- 11:10promise. God made a promise, and God
- 11:13went back on the promise. Do you know
- 11:16why God went back on that promise? The
- 11:20Bible says that Eli honored his sons
- 11:22more than God. How many parents honor
- 11:26their children more than God? They
- 11:28don't discipline, they don't take
- 11:29parenting courses, they're reading the
- 11:32wrong book, they're instilling
- 11:33principles." Wrong. How many men honor
- 11:36women more than God? Don't want to have
- 11:38problems with your sweetheart? My God,
- 11:42how many leaders honor their members
- 11:43more than God? Brothers, those who walk
- 11:46with me know that I'm not a little
- 11:48flower of Jesus, because I will
- 11:50position myself as a father, as a
- 11:51husband, as a pastor. I will not sell
- 11:54the principles because I don't want to
- 11:56have emotional problems with you. How
- 12:00many churches are there to massage your
- 12:02ego? There are studies of scents that
- 12:06you put in the church so that the
- 12:08person enters the service anesthetized,
- 12:09so that the pressure stays outside. But
- 12:13what produces anesthesia is the
- 12:15presence of God, it is the life of God,
- 12:17it is the flow of God. In Psalm 55,
- 12:21David was troubled, the Bible says, but
- 12:24at the end of the story, he found help
- 12:26in God. Tell your brother: "Whom do you
- 12:32honor more?" But in the new covenant,
- 12:37God no longer goes back on his promises
- 12:39, because he paid the entire debt. But
- 12:43in the new covenant there is something
- 12:45else, which is discipline, which has
- 12:47now become father. God disciplines
- 12:49those he loves. So, if you don't honor
- 12:53God in the new covenant, you will be
- 12:55disciplined, which is a beneficial
- 12:56thing until you mature. Say: "Glory to
- 13:00God! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" So, a
- 13:03life without fruit is a life without
- 13:05honoring something in your life. And
- 13:08what is discipline? It doesn't have
- 13:10fruit. As long as you don't give
- 13:14importance to specific areas, you won't
- 13:15reap the fruit. One day there was a
- 13:21couple from a church, with many
- 13:23problems, and they said: "Pastor, what
- 13:24do you think about this?""I say, I
- 13:27think you should move from where you
- 13:29live, lower your standard of living,
- 13:31and give up your job. You'll lose your
- 13:36marriage and you'll lose your children
- 13:38because you prioritize your career,
- 13:39your business, and think you want to
- 13:41leave an inheritance for your children.
- 13:44That doesn't protect your children. Be
- 13:49careful because when you give things
- 13:50and you don't give God to your children
- 13:52, you're placing a completely ignorant
- 13:54burden that will harm your life. Learn
- 13:58to give God. God made a promise: Honor
- 14:01me more than your children. But he felt
- 14:05sorry for the boys. And because he felt
- 14:08sorry for the woman, sorry for the boys
- 14:10, sorry for the wife, sorry for the
- 14:12house. Oh, my love is crying. How many
- 14:16women are mothers? There are so many
- 14:17spoiled men because their wives have
- 14:19become their mothers. You're honoring
- 14:22your husband more than God. A woman of
- 14:27God knows how to lead a man to God. We
- 14:34need to learn to lead our children to
- 14:35God. To lead our spouse to God, to lead
- 14:38our brothers and sisters in the cell to
- 14:40God. Otherwise, there won't be...""
- 14:44There's no honor in this. Once, a
- 14:49couple started coming to church who
- 14:50lived together but weren't married, and
- 14:52they had an intimate life. One day,
- 14:55when they returned home, the man
- 14:57grabbed his wife and said, 'Don't touch
- 14:59me. From today on, we are no longer
- 15:02married. We each have our own room, and
- 15:05we won't take communion. This is wrong.
- 15:08Don't come with stories about wanting a
- 15:09wonderful wedding. We are in sin, and
- 15:11our children are growing up, and a
- 15:13wrong principle is emerging. Until we
- 15:15get married, until we resolve things,
- 15:17there's no more intimate life.' In a
- 15:19month, they got married. They are
- 15:21leaders here in the church. Because a
- 15:23woman understood: 'My body is holy.'
- 15:27When you understand that your children
- 15:29are not yours, the Bible says that
- 15:30children are not your inheritance.
- 15:33Children are God's inheritance. And who
- 15:36do you think you are to control your
- 15:38children? 'I want him to be a doctor.'
- 15:41Who do you think you are? What does God
- 15:44want your child to be? 'I want him to
- 15:47be an entrepreneur,' and I'm teaching
- 15:49him to be careful." Never influence
- 15:52your child without asking their father
- 15:54what God wants for their future.
- 16:02Someone once said, "Pastor, your wife
- 16:04preaches so well, and she's influential
- 16:06and everything." When I married her,
- 16:08she was a woman going through a lot of
- 16:10crisis. I said, "God, before I start
- 16:12this marriage here, answer me something
- 16:14. I'm surrounded by many pastors. There
- 16:17are pastors 'wives who only serve their
- 16:19husbands. There are others who have no
- 16:20one for ministry. About my wife, God,
- 16:23what do you have for the future?
- 16:25Because I'm not going to nag her, I'm
- 16:27not going to invest if the future
- 16:28doesn't align with her; I need
- 16:30agreement." And God told me about her
- 16:32future. And based on what God told me
- 16:34about her future, I started talking to
- 16:36her, influencing her, and guiding her.
- 16:39Don't try to make your son a pastor if
- 16:41God has chosen you to be a doctor. And
- 16:43don't try to make your son a doctor. If
- 16:45God has called him to be a pastor, he
- 16:47won't cause trouble with the business
- 16:49owner. The church isn't mine; the
- 16:54church belongs to God. I decided not to
- 16:59preach here last night and on Saturday
- 17:01mornings because God told me, "It's not
- 17:03for you to preach. I want to speak to
- 17:06the church through your wife and Pastor
- 17:08Rodrigo." Hallelujah! How are you? And
- 17:13if God tells you that you won't be the
- 17:15next cell leader, that you won't be the
- 17:16next desolator, that's okay. He is the
- 17:19owner. He owns everything. A life of
- 17:23peace is understanding what God has for
- 17:25your life. So many people are
- 17:28struggling, don't struggle. Learn to
- 17:31live in peace, aware of what God has
- 17:33for you. Say: "Glory to God! Hallelujah
- 17:36! The Bible says:" Those who honor me,
- 17:40I will honor. "It's a return of the
- 17:44weight you give to something. Matthew
- 17:486:21 says:" For where your treasure is,
- 17:51there your heart will be also. "Our
- 17:56attention reveals where our heart is.
- 18:00Don't come with that story. Where your
- 18:02attention is, there is your heart.
- 18:04There are many pastors in the church,
- 18:06many workers, many freeloaders. And I
- 18:09keep seeing where the hearts of these
- 18:10people are. There are brothers who give
- 18:13their lives completely for others, not
- 18:15others. I'm a bit like this, I'm a
- 18:18young child, difficulty isn't about
- 18:20context, it's about passion. Why is
- 18:24there a 24-hour gym on the corner
- 18:26that's packed at 5 AM? But brother, you
- 18:29exercise, but you don't pray, you don't
- 18:31want to lead. Start a cell group at 5
- 18:34AM. You who say you don't have time to
- 18:35be a cell group leader and take care of
- 18:37your body,
- 18:39you'll arrive in eternity muscular,
- 18:41without souls. Proverbs 3: 9 says:"
- 18:50Honor the Lord with your possessions. "
- 18:53Honor involves priority. Once someone
- 18:57gave an offering here at church of R $
- 18:5910,000. It's hard to mention the amount
- 19:01, but during fasting. But he's a simple
- 19:04brother, with a modest car. And another
- 19:08once gave R $ 60,000, but the other's R
- 19:10$ 60,000 is just a pittance. What did I
- 19:13understand? The one who gave R $ 10,000
- 19:16planted life in the church. You know?
- 19:18Giving money to the church is one thing
- 19:20, giving an offering is another. It's
- 19:23completely different. Being married is
- 19:27one thing; having a marriage is another
- 19:29. It's different. Having children is
- 19:33one thing; raising them God's way is
- 19:35another. It's a revelation of the
- 19:39importance of what you're involved in.
- 19:45Where have you placed your possessions,
- 19:47your heart, your life? It's strange. I,
- 19:51a pastor, won't go to church today. But
- 19:53why won't you go to church today? It's
- 19:55a job I have. It's not a sin to work.
- 19:58But think about it for a moment. You
- 19:59worked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 20:01Thursday, Friday, Saturday. And what if
- 20:03you also work an hour and a half on
- 20:05Sunday? Because you can be rich, but
- 20:08don't let wealth prevent you from being
- 20:10rich in God's purpose. God has a
- 20:14Porsche for you, a mansion,
- 20:16million-dollar apartments. Do you know
- 20:19why? To receive people, to preach the
- 20:22gospel, to witness. May your offering
- 20:25not be from what's left over, but from
- 20:27what you value. There are brothers and
- 20:30sisters who don't tithe, but why? The
- 20:32church isn't important. Pastor Aluísio
- 20:34says:" Brothers and sisters who don't
- 20:36tithe should look for another church to
- 20:37attend, because deep down they distrust
- 20:39this church or the pastor. But look for
- 20:41a place you trust. Why? Because tithing
- 20:43is a place of protection. Tithing is a
- 20:45divine principle. I'm just finishing my
- 20:50fast, brothers and sisters. Do you know
- 20:52what honor is? Honor isn't just being
- 20:55present with your body absent. I have a
- 20:59friend I took care of a few years ago.
- 21:01He's a pastor, he was a youth pastor,
- 21:03and his father left him an inheritance
- 21:06of many, many, many millions. It's many
- 21:08millions for him. And he's a very
- 21:11detached pastor. And his father was
- 21:14between life and death here in São
- 21:16Paulo, in the hospital. And I had a
- 21:19meeting here in São Paulo with pastors
- 21:21from outside São Paulo. He couldn't be
- 21:23there because he was with his father.
- 21:25It's legitimate. Suddenly, there's a
- 21:29break, and he sends me a message:'
- 21:31Pastor, forgive me, but I, of my own
- 21:33free will, contacted the pastor there
- 21:35at your church. '"In the meeting, I
- 21:37asked him to turn on the camera, and
- 21:39I'm crying. God spoke to me about this,
- 21:41this, this. Here are all the notes I
- 21:43took. I wanted to schedule a chat with
- 21:45you online during the break while my
- 21:46mother goes up to the hospital, to her
- 21:48room here. And there were brothers in
- 21:50my meeting on WhatsApp, on Instagram.
- 21:52There are brothers here, WhatsApp for
- 21:54work, Instagram, what are they doing
- 21:56here? Give weight to this for 2 hours.
- 22:03A generation more connected and more
- 22:05disconnected from the present world.
- 22:08Families are on their cell phones at
- 22:10home, no longer eating together because
- 22:12that no longer has value. What has
- 22:14value now is technology. This pastor,
- 22:18whose father was between life and death
- 22:20, became the pastor of the church. God
- 22:22raised him up globally. Why? He gave
- 22:25weight to what God gave weight to, it
- 22:27was God's purpose. Tell me, brother,
- 22:31where is your attention these days?
- 22:37Many couples, many believers, they live
- 22:39without a sense of belonging. He opens
- 22:42his home, but he's not a host. He gives
- 22:45money, but he's not an offering giver
- 22:47at church. He's married, but that
- 22:49marriage doesn't matter to him. Because
- 22:51if God asks you to give up something,
- 22:53he doesn't. He's worried about the
- 22:54future. Man, you have to be the
- 22:56provider. Be careful that you provide
- 23:00consequences. I am a youth pastor
- 23:03worldwide. There are thousands of needy
- 23:06young people, from parents who work,
- 23:08who are entrepreneurs all day and have
- 23:10no legacy. Because for the father,
- 23:13that's not important. The church takes
- 23:14care of it, society takes care of it,
- 23:16the teacher takes care of it, the
- 23:17church takes care of it. That's not it.
- 23:20The church has no responsibility for
- 23:22its children. The secret to success is
- 23:30defining what is important and giving
- 23:32weight to what is important. Don't
- 23:37start giving weight when you lose your
- 23:43selfishness. Jesus interacted with
- 23:46three groups of people. Let's say: the
- 23:50crowd, the occasional follower, and the
- 23:52disciples. Who is the crowd? I only go
- 23:57to be blessed. Who is the occasional
- 24:01follower? Who is the crowd? I go when I
- 24:03want to. When there's no work, when
- 24:06there's nothing, I go. And the
- 24:11occasional follower, occasionally he
- 24:13goes, but if he is bothered by his
- 24:15personal agenda, he won't go. The rich
- 24:21young man said," I am your disciple, I
- 24:23keep the commandments. "Jesus perceived
- 24:27that he was, but his heart wasn't.
- 24:30Jesus said," Give up everything and
- 24:32follow me. "The Bible says he was
- 24:34saddened because he had a lot of money.
- 24:38Jesus never owes anything to anyone. If
- 24:42someone cheats you, I'll say: God will
- 24:44repay you with interest.
- 24:49And the disciples are like that, you
- 24:51know? The hen and the pig decided to
- 24:54open a hamburger restaurant. The hen
- 24:57says," I'll contribute the egg. "And
- 24:59the pig said," Wow, I'll go in with the
- 25:01bacon then. "Look at the occasional
- 25:05follower and the disciple. With all due
- 25:07respect, the chicken is the occasional
- 25:09follower. And the pig is the disciple.
- 25:13Either you go in with your life, or you
- 25:15go in occasionally, but remain at peace
- 25:17. God always calls multitudes to deeper
- 25:22waters. God is calling you to deeper
- 25:26waters.
- 25:28I hope this word is not condemning you
- 25:30or accusing you. I hope this word is
- 25:33warning you. I preached a very
- 25:36important message here on Friday,
- 25:38perhaps one of the most important I've
- 25:39ever preached in my life. When Elijah
- 25:44told that woman who had practically
- 25:46nothing," Make a cake for me first. "
- 25:50What Elijah was showing was the New
- 25:51Testament, teaching that woman, with
- 25:53the little she had, to seek Him first."
- 25:56No, I tithe. If there's anything left
- 25:59over, I'll lead if I have time. I'll
- 26:03live in a house near the church if it's
- 26:04cheap. Pastor, I found a house 20 km
- 26:08away, it will be my own. "You are
- 26:11distancing your life from God's purpose
- 26:13. The Bible says that Lot was building
- 26:18his life feeling like Sodom, feeling
- 26:19like the plain. You know when you're
- 26:23building your life towards a place that
- 26:24will kill you? One day I said to my
- 26:26brother," Brother, I'm worried about
- 26:28you. "What's wrong? You're prospering,
- 26:30and I realize that prosperity is making
- 26:32you dysfunctional. It will cost you
- 26:35dearly in the medium term. I praise God
- 26:40for prosperity that leads you to be
- 26:42more of a tither, more of an offerer,
- 26:44more passionate about your wife, more
- 26:45caring for your family, more of...
- 26:47Because if your prosperity prevents you
- 26:49from leading, be careful. Read the
- 26:53story of Joseph with Moses, with
- 26:54Pharaoh. The first proposal that
- 26:57Pharaoh made to Moses is the same one
- 26:59the devil makes. He opens doors for you
- 27:02, prospers you so that you commit the
- 27:04minimum. This affects your house and
- 27:06your life. I preached this a few years
- 27:09ago. I'm warning you in the light of
- 27:12God's word. Who are you with Jesus and
- 27:16who are you with the church? I have
- 27:20pastors. In every group there is a
- 27:23multitude, occasional followers, and
- 27:24disciples. You know...Brothers and
- 27:26sisters, leaving is nothing new to me,
- 27:28because they no longer belong. Imagine
- 27:30wanting to be a doctor, but you don't
- 27:32like blood? The worst tragedy is a
- 27:35couple where each loves different
- 27:37things. It's a tragedy because they'll
- 27:39never build anything together. They'll
- 27:42build independent projects in life.
- 27:44It's bad to be in church and have a
- 27:46different direction in your life.
- 27:47Everyone's fasting, and you're just
- 27:49playing around. Everyone's preparing
- 27:52for baptism, and you're traveling. It's
- 27:55not a sin to travel. It's not a sin.
- 27:57Brothers and sisters, I went to Maceió
- 27:59with my wife, I went to Porta de
- 28:01Galinhas with my children. Everything
- 28:03paid for by Latã. Hallelujah. The
- 28:06Bible says there's a time for
- 28:07everything. But I'll tell you something
- 28:09. A man of God named David, the Bible
- 28:12says that in the times when kings went
- 28:14to war, David thought:" I've prospered.
- 28:18"I'll sit on my laurels, I'll stay home
- 28:20, I'll just watch the game. It was on
- 28:22that day that he tarnished his entire
- 28:24life's legacy. Second principle, honor
- 28:29prepares the environment. To multiply.
- 28:33First, multiplication is linked to what
- 28:35you give weight to. Give weight to what
- 28:39you desire. Dear friend, if you are an
- 28:42entrepreneur, you will learn to be an
- 28:44entrepreneur in God's way. You will
- 28:46lead your company to tithe, you will
- 28:48preach the gospel to your employees,
- 28:49you will open a cell group. Oh, I don't
- 28:52have time. Open a cell group in your
- 28:54company, an embryonic cell group. Oh,
- 28:58pastor, I can't lead. Lead where you
- 29:01are, in your school, in your company,
- 29:03with your employees. This week I even
- 29:06have an online meeting with a company,
- 29:08with employees. The businessman isn't
- 29:11even from the church, but he admires my
- 29:13words. He invited me and my wife. A
- 29:18wonderful honor, an accounting firm,
- 29:19he's someone who understood, and his
- 29:21company tithes here, he doesn't even
- 29:23attend church here. Brothers and
- 29:28sisters, we have tithers here who don't
- 29:30attend church here because they can't.
- 29:33They live in another country, in
- 29:34another state, but they hear the word
- 29:36and share it and take online courses.
- 29:40You realize that the problem isn't
- 29:42distance, it's belonging. Second In
- 29:52this aspect, honor prepares that
- 29:53environment. Matthew 14:19. And having
- 30:00commanded the multitude to sit down on
- 30:02the grass, he took five loaves and two
- 30:04fish. Looking up to heaven, he blessed
- 30:08them. Pastor, what kind of environment
- 30:11is this that I have to prepare? An
- 30:12environment of gratitude. John 6:11.
- 30:16Jesus took the loaves and, having given
- 30:18thanks. John 6:23. However, other boats
- 30:24had come to Bierades near the place to
- 30:26eat bread, the Lord having given thanks
- 30:27. Give thanks for your salary before
- 30:32complaining about it. There are many
- 30:35ways to complain. Go to Angola, go to
- 30:37Mozambique so you understand how rich
- 30:39you are. Stop complaining about your
- 30:42cell leader. Stop complaining about the
- 30:44church. There are many ways to complain
- 30:46. There is complaining in Portuguese
- 30:48and complaining in the heart. Just five
- 30:51loaves and two fish. He prepared an
- 30:53environment. Be grateful for your wife.
- 30:57Be grateful. You know, you will hardly
- 31:01see God multiply something you despise.
- 31:04You want to have a man of God by your
- 31:06side, start giving him importance.
- 31:09Praise him, honor him, value his life.
- 31:14You Do you want to have a blessed cell
- 31:15group? What about these carnal people?
- 31:20Oh brothers, my pastors aren't exactly
- 31:22Jesus's little flowers, but I decided
- 31:24to only look at quality and honoring
- 31:26what gives weight, because if I look at
- 31:28what's natural, it won't work, there
- 31:30won't be an environment for
- 31:31multiplication. Once, I was visiting a
- 31:36pastor from a church over there, and he
- 31:38was in shock." The people in your
- 31:41church are so happy, so lighthearted.
- 31:45What's that all about? "I said," Can I
- 31:47be honest? "I decided to look at them
- 31:49as God looks at them. When you affirm,
- 31:54transmit grace, you're no good for
- 31:56anything new, you haven't succeeded.
- 32:01That's not God's way; no foul words
- 32:03should come out of your mouth, only
- 32:05words of grace. You are loved, you are
- 32:09blessed. It will work out. You can do
- 32:13it. You have so many gifts. What are
- 32:17you doing with your life? God has
- 32:19something so precious for you. We have
- 32:23to be people full of grace, full of
- 32:25life, happy people. To despise means to
- 32:30diminish, and to honor means to magnify
- 32:33. Do you diminish or promote what
- 32:36surrounds you? If you watch history and
- 32:43The biographies of great men in the
- 32:45secular world, like, I don't know if
- 32:47you've seen that movie, *The Children
- 32:49of Francisco*, he decided to honor the
- 32:51environment, the land of his children,
- 32:53so that his children would see life in
- 32:54a lighter way. With five loaves of
- 32:59bread, you feel like killing that crowd
- 33:01. When your child doesn't respond the
- 33:04way you believe, your father, whoever
- 33:06he is, may the word of life, of grace,
- 33:08come from his mouth. May God change the
- 33:13lenses of your eyes. Third aspect, what
- 33:17you focus on is what will grow. The 12
- 33:21spies saw the land exactly as Joshua
- 33:23and Caleb did. But Joshua and Caleb
- 33:27focused on the solution. The spies
- 33:31focused on the problems. So, in your
- 33:35marriage, in your cell, in the church,
- 33:37with money, don't look at the problem,
- 33:39because you will become discouraged.
- 33:43Look at the solution, look at the
- 33:44future, look at the possibilities. Stop
- 33:48watching videos of misfortune. Listen
- 33:52to videos of grace. You don't need to
- 33:54watch any videos to realize that this
- 33:56world already belongs to the evil one.
- 34:00You would run away. Behind whom? How
- 34:04many people know the singer Red da Nés
- 34:06? He enters my house, enters my life,
- 34:09messes with my structure. He's a
- 34:15believer and suffered an accident and
- 34:16almost died. And many evangelical
- 34:19pastors were telling him," Réis, you
- 34:21sinned, didn't you? Did you tithe this
- 34:24month? Confess your hidden sin. "And he
- 34:28was becoming more and more oppressed.
- 34:31You know when even the dog knows you've
- 34:32done wrong? When I get home, when the
- 34:35dog doesn't greet me, I already know,
- 34:37he peed. He shouldn't have. He doesn't
- 34:40even say," Why did you pee there? "He's
- 34:42already condemned, poor thing. Why
- 34:44would you finish killing your husband
- 34:46if he already knows he did wrong? Why
- 34:49kill your siblings if you already know
- 34:51you did wrong? Some time ago I gave, I
- 34:53gave a pastor here the runaround for
- 34:54almost a month, because he was already,
- 34:56he himself was already condemned. I
- 34:58didn't, I only did it like that, okay?
- 35:03Because I already knew, I remember the
- 35:05pastor. Josimar, pastor, talk to me,
- 35:07disciple me, tell me, Josmar, I'm not
- 35:09going to say anything because life is
- 35:12tearing you apart. I'll only make your
- 35:15problem worse. When someone is going
- 35:19through a time of tribulation, they
- 35:20don't finish killing, bam, good heavens
- 35:22, your husband is exhausted, tired,
- 35:24you're going to finish killing him and
- 35:26not receive him with his nightgown,
- 35:28make a pudding. Faith is not a feeling.
- 35:34My hair even flew off here. Hallelujah,
- 35:43dear. You have to be grateful for your
- 35:47hair, because I don't like it. Ah, but
- 35:49better than not having it, right?
- 35:52Hallelujah. So you need to focus. Focus
- 35:57. The worst church in the New Testament
- 36:01was the church in Corinth. It was a
- 36:03problematic church. The brothers would
- 36:05leave communion drunk. It was brother
- 36:09taking brother to court. And Paul said:
- 36:13" I praise God for the precious
- 36:15brothers of this church. You will never
- 36:21be successful if you don't see as God
- 36:23sees. This son of mine who doesn't want
- 36:28to know anything. It will be like this.
- 36:31God built all things with the word. "
- 36:36When you see a flaw, don't talk about
- 36:37the flaw itself, talk about what you
- 36:39believe about the flaw. Many pastors
- 36:44have cared for me over the years, but I
- 36:46won't lie to you. Pastor Wilson managed
- 36:50to see what God had in store for me.
- 36:55And that's why I've gotten this far,
- 36:57because someone saw what God had for my
- 36:58life. When you find someone who can see
- 37:03treasure where there is none, stick
- 37:07with that person, because one day that
- 37:09person will come along. I'm going to
- 37:12have this cell group leader now,
- 37:13hallelujah, with my wife. And I'll tell
- 37:16you something. So many precious people,
- 37:19but with so many difficulties. There
- 37:22are no perfect people. Yesterday a
- 37:24pastor sent me a message:" Pastor, I'm
- 37:26shocked, I met with two leaders, "he
- 37:28said:" Oh, so many problems? "I learned
- 37:30something in ministry. Your problem is
- 37:32insignificant to me. I'm going to take
- 37:35you to the power of God, who can change
- 37:37your problems. I won't be sad anymore
- 37:38because of your problems. I'm going to
- 37:40introduce Christ to you. That's how the
- 37:42church grows and advances. You are a
- 37:44cell group leader. People come into
- 37:46your cell who are divorced, separated,
- 37:48widowed, oppressed, in debt, who have
- 37:50fought with their aunt, with that
- 37:52person. You know who the most
- 37:55complicated people are in any church?
- 37:57Those who have money, because they have
- 37:59problems, but they don't want to seek
- 38:00God, they don't solve them. That's why
- 38:03Jesus said, it's easier, let it go.
- 38:07Jesus.
- 38:08Focus. Hebrews 12. Looking intently
- 38:13means without wavering. Look at the
- 38:17positive point. Without wavering. God
- 38:20is difficult. This guy is crazy. Look
- 38:23at this member of my cell. Look
- 38:26intently at him. And the consequence of
- 38:29that is that you look as God looks. I
- 38:32told a story here on Friday about
- 38:33Pastor Igor's mother, who started the
- 38:35church with me, and said:" Pastor, the
- 38:37people of Cachoeirinha are very poor,
- 38:39stop saying they can prosper because
- 38:41look at their life context. "I said,"
- 38:44No, I couldn't see it the way you see
- 38:46it. I only see prosperous people,
- 38:49blessed people, beautiful people. And
- 38:51the richest people in this region will
- 38:52be the brothers and sisters of the
- 38:53church. We will have, we will rise like
- 38:55this, like this, like this. "She
- 38:57remained silent. I said," I just want
- 38:59to ask a favor. Don't speak what you
- 39:00see. Can you connect with me and start
- 39:03seeing and speaking what I believe? "A
- 39:05Sunday later I made an appeal. There
- 39:07were two entrepreneurs in the church.
- 39:09Today we are more than 500
- 39:11entrepreneurs in this church. But why?
- 39:15Because someone decided to believe in
- 39:17seeing what God sees. Look at what God
- 39:21has given you in the right way. Amen.
- 39:26Brothers and sisters. Joshua and Caleb
- 39:30saw things the way God saw them.
- 39:34Inevitably, what you see is what you
- 39:36will have. Do you want to win? Be
- 39:42filled with God and go to the end
- 39:44seeing as God sees. Stop looking at
- 39:50your flaws, your frailties, your
- 39:52weaknesses, your anxieties. The secret
- 39:58is to never take your eyes off the One
- 40:00who called you, because the One who
- 40:01called you knew your imperfections. But
- 40:06He invited you to walk on the sea and
- 40:08not take your eyes off Jesus. Fourth
- 40:12aspect, honor transforms relationships.
- 40:15How to relate through honor, pastor?
- 40:17Ephesians 5:33. The wife Respect your
- 40:21husband, and husbands must love their
- 40:23wives. Exodus 20:12. Honor your father
- 40:27and mother. Philippians 2: 3.
- 40:30Considering others superior to yourself
- 40:32. You can only consider someone
- 40:35superior to you if you are humble. I
- 40:39disagree. For God's sake. You know when
- 40:41you have nothing, everything is good.
- 40:43But when you start to prosper, you
- 40:45become very critical." Look at this
- 40:49food here, I've eaten better. "" Oh,
- 40:51this pastor, I've heard better. "" Oh,
- 40:53this cell group, I've had better. "Be
- 40:59careful that you may grow in everything
- 41:01, but with a humble heart." Oh, I'm
- 41:05going to change. "Change companies,
- 41:07change cell phones, change cells.
- 41:09Change. Keep changing because you are
- 41:11so wonderful. You are so wonderful.
- 41:13There's a very rich businessman who
- 41:14used to have a television program, and
- 41:16I was listening to a podcast, and he
- 41:18said:" I married a woman much younger
- 41:20than me. I'm a rich, successful guy,
- 41:22but I made it clear that I wouldn't
- 41:23accept five things. "I don't want a dog
- 41:27because my house isn't a mobile urinal;
- 41:29there won't be air conditioning at 6 PM
- 41:31, in the cold, in any season." I told
- 41:35her, he's so wonderful that anyone
- 41:37marrying him has to be just like him.
- 41:39How many people think they're wonderful
- 41:41? No, for someone to have a say in my
- 41:42life, they have to be like this, have
- 41:44to be like that, have to be like that.
- 41:46Oh, my God. So protocol-driven. For
- 41:56God's sake. Tell me, brother, is your
- 42:00standard too high for you to consider
- 42:02someone? Oh, how my wife doesn't
- 42:11understand me. My husband doesn't, no.
- 42:13Consider, consider your wife with
- 42:17abilities you don't have. Consider your
- 42:21husband with abilities he doesn't have,
- 42:23because there will be honor in that
- 42:24relationship. One learns from the other
- 42:27. I flow a lot in the prophetic and
- 42:30inspirational spirit, and my wife flows
- 42:32more in teaching. Now she's more
- 42:36prophetic, and I'm more in teaching too
- 42:38. I can't disregard her gift. She also
- 42:43can't disregard the gift God gave me.
- 42:46We're going to have a meeting with God
- 42:47for couples one of these days. We're
- 42:49going to talk about high-performance
- 42:51couples. What is a high-performance
- 42:53couple? "High performance? They are two
- 42:57humble people who understood how to
- 42:59form a partnership and combine their
- 43:03gifts. Oh, I'm going to fire the
- 43:07employee. I'm going to fire your
- 43:10partner's wife. I'm going to fire the
- 43:14woman who works at home. I mean, then,
- 43:17and your wife, when she burns the pan,
- 43:19are you going to fire her or just give
- 43:21her a dirty look? Belonging,
- 43:25relationship, forgiveness, heart. Say:"
- 43:31Glory. "It's easier, it's easier to
- 43:34lack patience than to consider. Say,
- 43:38brother, consider others superior to
- 43:40yourself. You know when someone enters
- 43:42the cell and speaks? Think like this:"
- 43:44What is he talking about? He doesn't
- 43:45know. I know much more than him. He
- 43:47didn't watch the news today. "Then you
- 43:49shut yourself off from that. Consider.
- 43:56It's so good to have older brothers
- 43:58here in the church, precious brothers,
- 43:59brothers who have a history, brothers
- 44:01we can listen to. I saw a study a while
- 44:06ago that uh uh the generation
- 44:07disregards the elderly so much because
- 44:09of technology. But I'll tell you
- 44:12something. Technology is not above the
- 44:17word. Listen to the elders' life
- 44:20stories, their legacies. Oh, how good
- 44:23it is, how good it is. Give weight,
- 44:27give honor, give gifts. And the last
- 44:32aspect, choose to look to Christ.
- 44:36Choose to give weight to Christ. 2
- 44:37Corinthians 3:18. But we all, with
- 44:42unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror
- 44:44the glory of the Lord, are being
- 44:46transformed. When I give weight to God,
- 44:52weight in admiring God, weight in
- 44:54knowing God, weight in flowing in God,
- 44:56weight in being filled with God, I am
- 44:58transformed. Some people think, no,
- 45:01I'll read a little book at home at
- 45:03night, no, that doesn't transform you.
- 45:05It's about contemplating, admiring,
- 45:09giving weight. You resemble what you
- 45:15contemplate, you know? Whoever loves
- 45:18something very much, resembles that
- 45:20thing. Whoever loves football,
- 45:23resembles football. He knows the
- 45:25players 'names. If you like anything,
- 45:29that's your life. What you do may be
- 45:36secondary, but God's eternal purpose
- 45:38should be your divine priority. Psalm
- 45:4534: 5 says:" Look and be enlightened
- 45:53without faith. "It is impossible to
- 45:55please God. Honor is an expression of
- 45:58faith. When we give weight to the word,
- 46:03the promises, the presence of God, we
- 46:05are declaring that we trust Him more
- 46:07than the circumstance. And I wanted to
- 46:11end my message talking about two people
- 46:13. You know, I told you that the word"
- 46:17honor "means to give weight. My
- 46:22daughter is here. What she likes most
- 46:24is that her dad reads the devotional to
- 46:26her at night. Sometimes I even pretend
- 46:29I'm sleeping, Dad, so I can give weight
- 46:33to her heart. I'm not there reading the
- 46:39devotional, I'm just expressing God,
- 46:41valuing her life. Every week I go out
- 46:44with my son for individual discipleship
- 46:46, golden advice. But because I want to
- 46:50give weight, give weight. I'm exhausted
- 46:56here because I decided that I would
- 46:57dedicate these 40 hours to it. And I
- 47:00started last Sunday. Give weight. You
- 47:03know when you go to a place that is of
- 47:05God, but God isn't there? Why? Because
- 47:08People don't give it weight. The
- 47:09service is over, hallelujah, back to my
- 47:11normal life. Thursday, hi, hi, hi. Cell
- 47:14group day, only the shell goes to the
- 47:15cell. A group of people stuck in a rut
- 47:17who don't seek God, who don't love God,
- 47:19who don't want to know about God, who
- 47:21only go there to pay God's bill, they
- 47:23have no presence. Peter said that we
- 47:28are living stones and when we gather,
- 47:30we become a spiritual house, a movement
- 47:32of the Holy Spirit of God. A woman in
- 47:40the Bible named Anna, no, Mary. The
- 47:44brothers know the story. And Jesus
- 47:48entered that house and there was Martha
- 47:49and there was Mary. Remember that the
- 47:53weight you give is the attention you
- 47:54give to it. A lot of attention to
- 47:58something. I feel very loved by my
- 48:00pastor and he gives me a lot of
- 48:01attention when I need him. The Bible
- 48:05says that Martha was agitated and
- 48:06worried and anxious about many tasks.
- 48:10With all due respect, you who work hard
- 48:12and should work hard, I am a pastor who
- 48:14also works very hard, more than many
- 48:16pastors, but my priority is not...
- 48:18That's life. That's life. That's life.
- 48:26And Mary, she sat down and gave weight,
- 48:28gave weight. And the Bible says that
- 48:34Mary chose the better part. Why?
- 48:38Because she gave weight, gave weight,
- 48:43gave weight. And because she gave
- 48:47weight, she grew, she bore fruit, she
- 48:49became a living legacy, because she
- 48:51gave weight. Do you want to have a
- 48:55woman of God? Invest in her. Go take a
- 48:59course with her, go read a book with
- 49:01her, go be discipled with her, come
- 49:03take a course with her, go lead with
- 49:05her, go to discipleship with her, give
- 49:07weight. But, pastor, to give weight, I
- 49:10will have to give up some things.
- 49:12That's what Jesus said. Mary chose few
- 49:15things. These few things were the most
- 49:20important things she chose. And another
- 49:27was Elisha and Elijah. The Bible says
- 49:31that Elisha performed twice as many
- 49:33miracles as Elijah. He performed twice
- 49:36as many miracles. But what happened in
- 49:39this story, pastor? 2 Kings, chapter 2,
- 49:42verses 9 and 10. It happened that After
- 49:44they had crossed over, Elijah said to
- 49:47Elisha, “Ask me what you want me to
- 49:49do for you.” Look, God is here. Look
- 49:52at God's expression. What do you want
- 49:56me to do for you? Then you come here in
- 49:58prayer. I want the restoration of my
- 50:00marriage. I want to have blessed
- 50:02children. I want my business to prosper
- 50:04. Here it is. Here is the expression of
- 50:06the new covenant. Remember when someone
- 50:12came to Jesus?“What do you want?”
- 50:19Look at the prophet's answer. “Before
- 50:22I am taken from you.” And Elisha said
- 50:26, “I ask that a double portion of
- 50:28your spirit be upon me.” I want a
- 50:31double portion of the anointing. I want
- 50:33the anointing of Pastor Luiso. I want
- 50:36the anointing of Pastor Wilson. And I
- 50:38have dedicated my life to receiving
- 50:40this anointing. Honoring, serving,
- 50:43cooperating. They are not perfect, but
- 50:47the most important thing is for you to
- 50:49understand. There is a criterion for
- 50:51you to receive a double portion of the
- 50:53anointing. I praise God, when I look at
- 50:56my wife's life, I see so much of Pastor
- 50:58Zanilda's work, and the pastor says,
- 51:00“My wife loves her wife very much.”
- 51:04When he was with Pastor Karina, the
- 51:06pastor would say," Wow, Pastor Karina
- 51:08speaks very highly of your wife, that
- 51:10she's a gift from God. She's receiving
- 51:12the anointing, she received anointing
- 51:14from Pastor Karina, she became a pastor
- 51:15, she took over supervision, she's
- 51:17enjoying Pastor Zanilda's anointing.
- 51:20It's not what you do, it's the weight
- 51:21you give to that anointing. Oh, I want
- 51:24to be a cell leader. Honor your cell
- 51:26leader. Don't use him. And he said,
- 51:31look what the prophet said. Wow, you
- 51:34asked for something difficult. Here's
- 51:38the key. If you see me when I am taken
- 51:42from you, so be it. If not, it will not
- 51:46be. Do you know what the prophet said?
- 51:49I can give you this anointing, but
- 51:51there's one thing. Don't take your eyes
- 51:55off me. Because if you don't take your
- 51:59eyes off me, when I go, you will
- 52:00receive the mantle. What's our problem?
- 52:04Because of feelings, differences, you
- 52:06take your eyes off me. How many
- 52:08brothers take their eyes off the church
- 52:10? "One day someone said," Pastor, I'm
- 52:14going to stop leading because I'm
- 52:15having some problems in my life and
- 52:16everything. "And I said," Okay. "He
- 52:18stopped leading, disappeared from the
- 52:20church. Now he's in total disarray. You
- 52:23have to go visit him. What was the
- 52:27problem? He was leading something in
- 52:30the church, but taking his eyes off the
- 52:31church. That's why we have a structure
- 52:35here in the church, parenting courses,
- 52:37seminars, finance courses, so that you
- 52:38don't take your eyes off what we
- 52:40believe. It's strange that you're here,
- 52:43wanting to come here on Sundays, attend
- 52:45a church service, but you don't want to
- 52:47take the church courses. You are, with
- 52:49all due respect, someone who is
- 52:51unchurched, yet still churching. We
- 52:53contemplate Christ and are transformed.
- 52:55We give you a structure so that you can
- 52:57contemplate what we believe. What do we
- 53:01believe about finances? Do you know
- 53:04what we believe about the return of
- 53:05Jesus? Do you know? There are churches
- 53:10that believe salvation is lost. We
- 53:11don't believe that. We believe that
- 53:13once saved, always saved. Once a child,
- 53:16always a child. The issue is new birth,
- 53:18because whoever is born again becomes a
- 53:20child. They may even sin, but they
- 53:23return like the prodigal son. Who are
- 53:28you looking at, brothers and sisters?
- 53:30I'm looking at Pastor Luís, the pastor
- 53:32, like this, see? God doesn't give you
- 53:37what you want. He gives you what you
- 53:40need in a package you don't want. And
- 53:43then you start to like the package. I
- 53:46really like Pastor Wilson and Pastor
- 53:48Aluía, but in the beginning it's
- 53:49because children don't like the package
- 53:51at first. Hmm. Your palate changes as
- 53:57you grow up. Did you know that? I don't
- 53:59like eggplant, I don't like bananas, I
- 54:01don't like vegetables. It's a matter of
- 54:04time, but the problem is having a
- 54:06childish palate your whole life. There
- 54:08are plenty of believers who think
- 54:09they're mature but have a childish
- 54:11palate. The way the pastor spoke, oh my
- 54:14, oh my, oh my, spoiled little Nutella
- 54:16mommy. It has to be your way. Gabriel,
- 54:20I was born this way and here's the
- 54:21thing, I'm going to die this way. No,
- 54:23no. Change for the love of your wife,
- 54:26woman. Change for the love of your
- 54:28husband, but you can't change yourself.
- 54:30It's the source, it's Him, it's Christ.
- 54:32Christ. I had an agreement with my wife
- 54:35that I wouldn't shake my leg like this,
- 54:37you know? My head would be like this.
- 54:40She said," Honey, it bothers me that
- 54:42you're like this. "I said," Then I'll
- 54:44tell you something, you're always
- 54:45picking at your cuticles. It's like a
- 54:47teacher with chalk. "We made an
- 54:50agreement three years ago that I
- 54:51wouldn't shake my leg. She stopped, and
- 54:54I stopped shaking my leg. But she
- 54:56didn't stop with the cuticles. But it's
- 54:59all good. What's a cuticle? I lost such
- 55:01a blessed woman as my wife. She's going
- 55:05to be fighting over every cuticle. You
- 55:07didn't take off your shoe. It's the way
- 55:09you talk. It's not what you say. You
- 55:11didn't arrive on time at 6:15. Get out
- 55:16of here, Satan.
- 55:19Jesus said that to Peter. Get thee
- 55:21behind me, Satan. Do
- 55:23you realize that Jesus had disciples?
- 55:26But Peter was always the target of
- 55:28confrontation. Peter, Peter, Peter, so
- 55:40much confusion. There are brothers who
- 55:44like to stir up trouble, right,
- 55:45brothers? 2 Kings 3:11 says:" Elisha
- 55:52poured water on the hands of the
- 55:54prophet Elijah. He gave weight to the
- 55:59prophet and received the prophet's
- 56:00anointing. "Dear friend, your
- 56:04difficulties in life are because you
- 56:05don't give weight where you don't have
- 56:07it. Why can't you be a real man? Maybe
- 56:13you didn't have a father, but God put
- 56:15you in a church so that you can put
- 56:17your pride aside at 30, 40, 50 years
- 56:19old. Can you help me? I'm very
- 56:22emasculated. I'm very soft, I don't
- 56:25know how to deal with my wife. And
- 56:27someone will teach you. Maybe you're
- 56:29someone who's financially broken,
- 56:31living off your reputation. In church
- 56:34it's wonderful, but your bank account
- 56:36is a huge debt. God put you here. Maybe
- 56:42you're a woman who doesn't know how to
- 56:43be sweet. I used to tell my wife, go to
- 56:48the pastor, she'll teach you how to be
- 56:50a wife, she'll teach you about
- 56:51household things, she'll teach you
- 56:53about children. She was giving weight
- 56:56to what she didn't have. What you don't
- 56:59have, God gives you, but to receive it,
- 57:01you need to learn to...To give weight.
- 57:05Moses was a great man of God, but do
- 57:07you know who succeeded him? Moses was
- 57:09Joshua. But why Joshua? Because Joshua
- 57:13gave weight to Moses. The Bible says
- 57:16that Joshua was known as Moses' servant
- 57:18. I want to be known as a servant of
- 57:22Pastor Luísio and Pastor Hilson. There
- 57:24will be a documentary about the free
- 57:26radicals, an incredible story. And they
- 57:29asked me:" Do you believe you will fill
- 57:31the stadiums? "As I said in the past:"
- 57:34No, I believe I will dedicate my life
- 57:36to what is in Pastor Aloísio's heart.
- 57:40That is my mission. And if I have to
- 57:42fill a stadium, hallelujah! But if I
- 57:44don't have to fill the stadium, I will
- 57:46serve his ministry. Serve your wife's
- 57:48ministry. See God. When my wife starts
- 57:52talking and I perceive God, I give
- 57:54weight. Sometimes you're talking as a
- 57:56couple, scrolling through Instagram,
- 57:58talking fast, complete, no. Quality
- 58:02time, time of weight, time of anointing
- 58:04. We took an offering here for the
- 58:07children's ministry yesterday. Do you
- 58:09know the book about fasting? How many
- 58:11are blessed by the book about fasting?
- 58:12Raise your hand. It's by Pastor Wilson.
- 58:15It costs R $ 30, but we have 3,000
- 58:17children, and many in communities that
- 58:19don't have money. Do you know who pays
- 58:21for these books? The leader kids. R $
- 58:2412 each little book, R $ 500. But I'll
- 58:27tell you, we have an offer for this.
- 58:29The sisters would be loved and blessed
- 58:31if no one paid anything.
- 58:33No, that doesn't weigh much. Or do you
- 58:35want to pay? Who do you want to be
- 58:37blessed in these communities? Raise
- 58:38your hand.
- 58:40The children's meeting is R $ 30. And I
- 58:43have a desire for it to be free, the
- 58:45book and the children's meeting.
- 58:47How many also want free children's
- 58:49meetings? We've been
- 58:51doing this for two semesters now, the
- 58:53children's book. So I'll say this to
- 58:56you who are a businessman. I'm praying
- 58:59for you to become rich, not so you can
- 59:01live in a mansion, but so you can be a
- 59:03sponsor of this church's children's
- 59:04ministry. The children's snacks are
- 59:07there, I think the sisters bring them,
- 59:09but where are the business owners?
- 59:10He'll say: "Pastor, here's what's going
- 59:12to be McDonald's.
- 59:18Weight, weight, anointing, grace of God
- 59:23. I like the people I care for, I like
- 59:30the attention, I like to give weight.
- 59:34I'll tell you something. Live your life
- 59:36, but don't forget what's essential. I
- 59:42buy little toys for my wife, for my
- 59:44daughter, when I travel. That day she
- 59:46was at the airport. 'Dad, buy something
- 59:48, take a little chocolate, a little
- 59:50gift, a little something for my wife.'
- 59:52Do you know what that means? Go on your
- 59:53trip. But remember the church while
- 59:56you're there. Pastor Rodrigo went to
- 59:59Italy. Hallelujah. Many hands traveled.
- 1:00:02Many places. So, rich, blessed and
- 1:00:05prosperous church, be an inspiration to
- 1:00:07you. But his wife sent a message to my
- 1:00:10wife. 'I miss church.' When I travel, I
- 1:00:15miss my home and I have an attitude
- 1:00:17like a little gift, I make a video call
- 1:00:19, I say an audio prayer. I want to make
- 1:00:22it clear that I'm not at home, but my
- 1:00:24life is there." Pastor Wilson is the
- 1:00:28pastor of the city. He's not here, but
- 1:00:30I make a point of talking about him
- 1:00:32every Sunday because he is the pastor
- 1:00:34of the city. Remember the church,
- 1:00:40remember the pastor, remember the
- 1:00:42brothers and sisters from your cell
- 1:00:44group. It's good, it's good to have
- 1:00:48brothers and sisters who travel and
- 1:00:50miss the church. That means they are
- 1:00:53committed to the church. When you leave
- 1:00:59, you don't forget you belong to the
- 1:01:00place you left. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
- 1:01:13Do you know what makes a marriage end?
- 1:01:15This is what I preached. A woman
- 1:01:18doesn't feel loved, she doesn't feel
- 1:01:20valued. A man doesn't feel respected.
- 1:01:23What makes anything end? It's the end
- 1:01:25of the weight. I don't want my
- 1:01:29relationship with my pastor to end over
- 1:01:31insignificant issues. I want it to end
- 1:01:35when the purpose ends and we become
- 1:01:37great friends as we are. Besides being
- 1:01:40a pastor of the Vineyard, I am a member
- 1:01:42of the Vineyard and my brothers are
- 1:01:43pastors of the Vineyard. Here we got
- 1:01:47married, here we prospered, here my
- 1:01:48father bought his house, here we
- 1:01:50experienced everything we knew about
- 1:01:52our wives. Here we learned to Raising
- 1:01:56our children. Here we learned to
- 1:01:58forgive, to lead, to deal with
- 1:02:00difficult problems. But this was never
- 1:02:03a place we went to, it was a place we
- 1:02:05placed our lives. And I want to
- 1:02:09challenge you, don't be someone who
- 1:02:11comes, be someone who belongs, because
- 1:02:12that will build a history. It's sad,
- 1:02:16brothers and sisters, that there's no
- 1:02:18history. They don't, they only have a
- 1:02:20history in what they desire. They have
- 1:02:23a history like a father. I admire my
- 1:02:25father, you know why? He was a
- 1:02:27metalworker. But it wasn't because of
- 1:02:29that. He would come home and leave on
- 1:02:32foot to save on gas. But what I admired
- 1:02:35most about my father and mother, you
- 1:02:36know what it was? Every day, at 5 in
- 1:02:38the morning, I would wake up with my
- 1:02:40mother praying for each member of her
- 1:02:42cell group and blessing her children
- 1:02:43and my father's day. She would pray
- 1:02:47loudly, and every day at 5:20 my father
- 1:02:49would get up and go to work. My father
- 1:02:54led a cell group, he took all the
- 1:02:56church courses. You know what led me to
- 1:02:58decide to become a pastor? No. They
- 1:03:00were the shepherds of the vine. F. I
- 1:03:02understand. Wow, my father works so
- 1:03:04hard, suffers so much, and is
- 1:03:06dedicating his life to something that
- 1:03:08must be very important. If you look at
- 1:03:11the books I wrote, the first ones, I
- 1:03:12make a point of honoring my father who
- 1:03:14taught me what has value. I hope that I
- 1:03:18, as a pastor, and this team of pastors
- 1:03:20, am teaching you what is important.
- 1:03:24Money passes, opportunities pass, but
- 1:03:27what remains is what is important.
