- 0:00I think I've found one of the easiest
- 0:02tricks for investing in undervalued
- 0:04stocks. I do it from a single page and
- 0:07by looking at just five numbers. First,
- 0:09I search for BJN, a Google analytics
- 0:12platform. I go to the dashboard and go
- 0:14to Business Comparison. And this is
- 0:16very easy. First, I add the companies I
- 0:18have in mind, for example, Google,
- 0:20Amazon, Microsoft, and Adobe. Now I
- 0:23click on profitability and ratios and
- 0:24start the first filter. How good a
- 0:27business is each one? First, I look at
- 0:29these two profitability graphs. I don't
- 0:32need to memorize their names, they
- 0:34simply help me compare how profitable
- 0:36each company's business is. In each
- 0:38graph, I choose the two that have the
- 0:40highest percentages. Then, I scroll
- 0:42down to debt to equity. Here, I do the
- 0:45opposite. I prefer lower numbers
- 0:47because they help me find companies
- 0:49that have less debt, and I also choose
- 0:51the two with the lowest. In this
- 0:53example, Amazon was ruled out. Now
- 0:55comes the part that interests me the
- 0:57most. Which one is the best priced? I'm
- 0:59going to add a metric, valuation, and
- 1:01I'm going to add price over earnings
- 1:03and price over sales. The idea is
- 1:05simple. One compares how much we paid
- 1:07for the stock to the company's earnings
- 1:09and the other compares it to its sales.
- 1:11If their numbers are lower, that could
- 1:13indicate that it's cheaper. So I'll
- 1:15mark the two with the lowest values.
- 1:17And in this example, the ones that pass
- 1:19my filter are Google and Adobe.
