4. 0:08this week on the campus of UC Berkeley
5. 0:09that was out in California protesters
6. 0:12forcing the campus to cancel a speech by
7. 0:14the Breitbart editor have the name of
8. 0:16Milo ganopoulos by Smashing Windows
9. 0:19throwing Molotov cocktails at police and
10. 0:21even setting part of the campus on fire
11. 0:25earlier this morning the president
12. 0:26tweeted Prof Anarchist Thugs and paid
13. 0:30protesters are proving the point of
14. 0:31millions of people who voted to make
15. 0:33America great any Trump fans
16. 0:36here all right let check who did you
17. 0:39vote

22. 0:51were all about freedom of speech I
23. 0:54thought UC Berkeley was the home of the
24. 0:57Free Speech movement isn't that where it
25. 0:58all started in ' 64 and
26. 1:0065 well thank you for having me on Sean
27. 1:03and I just want to say yes we call
28. 1:05ourselves the home of the Free Speech
29. 1:06movement but Wednesday night absolutely
30. 1:09contradicted that we just wanted to
31. 1:11exercise our right to free speech and
32. 1:13invite Milo yopos to speak and we
33. 1:15couldn't do that because outside groups
34. 1:17and agitators aided and eded by students
35. 1:20uh used fireworks firecrackers what have
36. 1:23you and literally these things were
37. 1:25exploding against the building I was
38. 1:27inside and I detailed my terrible
39. 1:28experiences on campus reform.com and I
40. 1:32felt like a war zone it felt like a
41. 1:33third world country and I think this is
42. 1:35really just a shame I don't think we are
43. 1:38in a civil society anymore because the
44. 1:40left is too
45. 1:42intolerant you know Lisa boo I thought
46. 1:44liberals were supposed to be tolerant
47. 1:46and inclusive and they love everybody
48. 1:49and they always argue oh conservatives
49. 1:51are racist and sexist and homophobic
50. 1:54xenophobic islamophobic I can't even
51. 1:56remember all the phobias I'm supposed to
52. 1:58have none of this is true true but it's
53. 2:01really them that are intolerant true or
54. 2:03false oh 100% Sean they absolutely
55. 2:06there's no tolerance on the left uh and
56. 2:09look Sean I really think it's important
57. 2:11in in the terms in which we describe
58. 2:13these riots because we need to be
59. 2:15careful and not saying anything in
60. 2:16regards to protesting because protesting
61. 2:19the exercising of the first amendment I
62. 2:21think we can all agree upon but rioting
63. 2:23is not covered under the First Amendment
64. 2:24these individuals are criminals they are
65. 2:26riers they are they should be condemned
66. 2:29in the strongest terms and I think it's
67. 2:32the media and especially the mainstream
68. 2:34media needs to be really careful by not
69. 2:36condoning or enabling this Behavior Uh
70. 2:39by saying that it's protesting and
71. 2:40saying that somehow it's covered by the
72. 2:42First Amendment because it's absolutely
73. 2:44not you know Troy when I really I look
74. 2:47at all of the issues I don't know a
75. 2:49conservative that I know not one that's
76. 2:52racist I don't know any conservative
77. 2:55that doesn't make a distinction between
78. 2:57radical Islam and the those that are
79. 3:01practicing a religion they make a
80. 3:04distinction all of them I don't know
81. 3:06anybody frankly that gives a flying rip
82. 3:08about anybody's sex life no conservative
83. 3:10that I know cares and yet this is a
84. 3:12false caricature but I do see
85. 3:15intolerance here and Molotov cocktails
86. 3:18here and and people being beaten in
87. 3:21other instances so it's kind of been
88. 3:24Topsy Turvy in terms of the national
89. 3:26debate hasn't it yes it's been
90. 3:28absolutely crazy Sean and I know Gavin
91. 3:30mckinness I've seen him on your show and
92. 3:32on Fox News and I can say for certain
93. 3:34the man is not a white supremacist or
94. 3:36Nazi and the same goes for Milo
95. 3:38yannopoulos these people are expressing
96. 3:40their views but with in a controversial
97. 3:42Manner and with humor and the problem is
98. 3:45students at NYU and UC Berkeley aren't
99. 3:47being taught by their professors to
100. 3:49distinguish between performance and
101. 3:51facts I want my peers to protest sure
102. 3:55and I also want them to address the
103. 3:57facts and statistics Mr yannopoulos and
104. 3:59Mr mckinness bring to the table I want
105. 4:02them to engage in a rational debate not
106. 4:03to shout us down and use violence to to
107. 4:06silence us I don't think Berkeley is the
108. 4:08home of the Free Speech movement
109. 4:10anymore all right last word Lisa well I
110. 4:13don't think the left wants to have a
111. 4:14debate that's why they always resort to
112. 4:16demagogy and and look Sean we didn't see
113. 4:19this kind of behavior this kind of
114. 4:20violence at the March for Life or at tea
115. 4:23party rallies and and and but they say
116. 4:25that the Trump supporters are the ones
117. 4:26that are supposed to be the deplorable
118. 4:29and you see the these actions look at
119. 4:30just some of the signs the language and
120. 4:32the rhetoric and some of the things that
121. 4:34were discussed at this the quote unquote
122. 4:36woman's March which wasn't a woman's
123. 4:37March because it excluded uh groups of
124. 4:40women it was just a pro-choice March but
125. 4:42look at the way that a lot of those uh
126. 4:44protesters conducted themselves so you
127. 4:46know it's just absolutely ridiculous
128. 4:48they don't want any sort of uh
129. 4:50constructive conversation they just want
130. 4:53demagogy all right thank you both for
131. 4:55being with us all right when we come
132. 4:56back we're in Houston
