27. 1:10nature and things like that I think that
28. 1:13inspires a lot of my art and a lot of my
29. 1:15photography as well
30. 1:16Jodi couldn't make photography alone pay
31. 1:19the bills so she started working at a
32. 1:21network marketing company that decision
33. 1:24would put her on a collision course with
34. 1:25Travis Alexander the company was having
35. 1:32a convention in Vegas and it was a big
36. 1:35deal Travis Alexander was a successful
37. 1:3929 year old motivational speaker and
38. 1:43salesman for prepaid legal he had tons
39. 1:45of friends and tons of tons of people
40. 1:48that always wanted to be around just

59. 2:43couple would often get together and go
60. 2:45on trips Jodi document isn't photos she
61. 2:48posted on her MySpace page I'm always
62. 2:50pointing the camera in every direction
63. 2:51and he was always a very enthusiastic
64. 2:53and willing subject the biggest problem
65. 2:57however when it came to any kind of
66. 2:59romantic relationship was one of
67. 3:01religion Travis Alexander was Mormon and
68. 3:04Jodi arias was not if anyone is even
69. 3:08remotely familiar with the Mormon
70. 3:11beliefs no sex before marriage but Jodi
71. 3:15and Travis were having sex
72. 3:17he really was struggling and suffering
73. 3:20in guilt you know because he knew that
74. 3:22he was outside of the tenets of the
75. 3:24faith
76. 3:25Travis start sending Mormon missionaries
77. 3:27to her house at night he talks about the
78. 3:30Book of Mormon
79. 3:31scripture to her within a short amount
80. 3:34of time
81. 3:35Jodie converts to Mormonism her baptism
82. 3:37captured in this picture with Travis it
83. 3:39was emotional it was spiritual it was
84. 3:41powerful but according to Travis's
85. 3:44friends something was wrong this is
86. 3:46around the time where she became very
87. 3:48possessive of him very possessive she
88. 3:51just had to sit right by him she didn't
89. 3:53appreciate when he was talking to
90. 3:54another female after a while friends
91. 3:56Chris and Skye staged an intervention of
92. 3:58sorts we were just telling him all the
93. 4:00things that we were worried about with
94. 4:02her and I said she's scary there's
95. 4:04something wrong with her nice and Travis
96. 4:06I'm afraid we're gonna find you chopped
97. 4:07up in her freezer and all of a sudden I
98. 4:11got this cold feeling over me and I knew
99. 4:14she was outside our door and i mouthed
100. 4:17to them and pointed the door I said
101. 4:18she's out there and Travis rips the door
102. 4:24open and she's there
103. 4:26[Music]
104. 4:27and the look on her face was just it was
105. 4:30evil
106. 4:34Travis and Jodi continue seeing each
107. 4:36other for another couple months until
108. 4:39finally it's over but in the strange
109. 4:42move after the break-up
110. 4:44Jodi moves to Mesa Arizona to be closer
111. 4:47to her now ex-boyfriend that's pretty
112. 4:49weird right I don't ever want to see you
113. 4:51again and then she moves across the
114. 4:52country and into your town Travis told
115. 4:56friends that Jodi would show up and
116. 4:57announced at his house that she would
117. 4:59sneak in through the garage door because
118. 5:01she knew the code and at one point she
119. 5:03even snuck in through the doggy door
120. 5:06and sometimes Travis would be angry and
121. 5:08other times he would jump into bed right
122. 5:11with her and they would have sex it was
123. 5:14very much a mutual thing eventually
124. 5:18Travis convinced Jodi to move back to
125. 5:20California it just became obvious a time
126. 5:24we needed to be apart we needed to grow
127. 5:26apart
128. 5:26he said I'm getting my life back like
129. 5:28this is a whole new star she's gone each
130. 5:34of them is pursuing somebody else
131. 5:38Travis was interested in a woman named
132. 5:40Mimi and every time Jodi seems to have
133. 5:43found her own new love interest as well
134. 5:45but despite their new interest Jodi and
135. 5:48Travis couldn't seem to cut their
136. 5:50connection they're still talking on the
137. 5:51phone and texting and unbeknownst to him
138. 5:54she was tape recording him seriously
139. 5:59think about having sex every day
140. 6:02I'm glad you came I think Jody recorded
141. 6:09it to have a weapon in her arsenal to
142. 6:12use against him if he did something that
143. 6:14she didn't like or just to threaten him
144. 6:16with in early June both Travis and Jodi

158. 6:58house to find him
159. 7:01inside a horror see when they first cast
160. 7:05open the doors from the master bedroom
161. 7:07there's the smell this horrendous foul

163. 7:13then Travis's roommate goes into the
164. 7:15bathroom as he turns the corner
165. 7:18he spots Travis curled up in the shower
166. 7:21and he's clearly dead and has been dead

169. 7:28wondering about him he was slaughtered

172. 7:43over 27 stab wounds his neck sliced to
173. 7:48top it off he was shot in the head this
174. 7:50was overkill to the extreme in the house
175. 7:54detectives also found a bloody palm
176. 7:56print in several long brown hairs they
177. 8:00also noticed Travis's bed sheets were
178. 8:01missing we went through the laundry room
