Trading Monthly Recap: January 2020 $22,500 — Transcript

1. 0:01what's going on traders I hope all you
2. 0:04guys are having a great weekend I'm
3. 0:06going to make a monthly recap video on
4. 0:08January 2020 but before I start just a
5. 0:12quick little disclaimer I'm not a
6. 0:14registered investor I'm not giving an
7. 0:16investment advice this is strictly for
8. 0:19educational purposes only if you are
9. 0:21going to trade the stock market make
10. 0:23sure you know your risks and do due
11. 0:26diligence on what you were going to
12. 0:28trade so about 20 2.5 k in the month for
13. 0:34me after fees the thing that I'm most
14. 0:38happy about is my red days for all less
15. 0:41than three hundred dollars and there is
16. 0:42only three of them which is really great
17. 0:45consistency throughout the month as you
18. 0:47can see I made money every single week
19. 0:49which is always great and as you can see
20. 0:54here obviously 14.5 grand day and this
21. 0:59mainly came from my big trade of
22. 1:00thirteen point four grand on ticker
23. 1:03symbol ri VIX which I'll get into later
24. 1:05but basically I knew that a big day was
25. 1:08coming this day because the stock got
26. 1:12halted for fraud the night so kind of my
27. 1:17goal for the rest of the month was to
28. 1:18risk very little as you can see
29. 1:21$92 average loss and focus on
30. 1:25consistency and Green Day's trying to
31. 1:28make around $500 a day I don't need to
32. 1:30take a huge loss I'm already gonna get
33. 1:32paid this month so I just want to focus
34. 1:34on consistency being green every day was
35. 1:37my goal so just some quick stats here
36. 1:43about my average my average win Everage
37. 1:46lost I was percent gain average loss etc
38. 1:48all about Forex my gain to loss which is
39. 1:53really nice to see that's ideal to screw
40. 1:55over there and as you can see here about
41. 1:5986% of the days I was making money
42. 2:01average of 1100 per day 1309 Green Day's
43. 2:06229 on
44. 2:08days so really solid month guys like I
45. 2:11was saying my win percent still only you
46. 2:13know 56% so winning just over half my
47. 2:15trades while achieving that ideal reward
48. 2:18which is why I'm able to profit 86% of
49. 2:21the time so to get into my monthly
50. 2:25review now these are all my trades
51. 2:27filters from largest win to largest loss
52. 2:35so here might some of my stats OTC about
53. 2:3964 logging 70% of the time Nasdaq 1% 58
54. 2:44OTC 55 long win percent 49 which I would
55. 2:51like to get over 50 rounds you know that
56. 2:5255 56 57 area for next month I
57. 2:55definitely over traded some of these
58. 2:57Nasdaq Long's just because I was getting
59. 2:59a little bit of FOMO from all the virus
60. 3:02stocks going off short 1% 73% just
61. 3:09absolutely incredible month here
62. 3:11shortened and really what it's taking my
63. 3:15shorting to the next level Kyle he has
64. 3:18really helped me focus in on some of
65. 3:22these shorts and avoided some of the
66. 3:24headache shorts so without any my don't
67. 3:26think I would have had this good of a
68. 3:28month if I've never met him and he's
69. 3:29never really taught me his process so
70. 3:31big shout out to him I'm gonna go ahead
71. 3:33and link his YouTube channel in the
72. 3:35description and you know 111 trades
73. 3:41which is just probably way too much it's
74. 3:44probably the most I've traded but I was
75. 3:46risking so small and every trade that I
76. 3:48had a lot of bullets to throw out there
77. 3:50and try a lot of new things out so
78. 3:54definitely gonna work on trading less
79. 3:56next month 111 just two months too much
80. 3:59you know about five trades a day five
81. 4:01five six trades a day in the Irish
82. 4:05profit you guys already saw but about a
83. 4:07six point 15 profit factor which is
84. 4:09really nice making about six times what
85. 4:12I lose
86. 4:14and then my long profit factor is only a
87. 4:172.0 so really disappointed in my longing
88. 4:19this month guys there was opportunity
89. 4:22and I just couldn't I couldn't create a
90. 4:25good long plan and stick to it
91. 4:27so I'll get more into that when I start
92. 4:29going over some of my trades but you
93. 4:32know only 3,700 going long this month
94. 4:34and then my private factory for shorting
95. 4:38about twenty six point five really solid
96. 4:40there even without my biggest gain if
97. 4:44you subtract thirteen point four from
98. 4:45that still really nice shorting this
99. 4:49month since I only lost seven hundred
100. 4:51and fifty and I still would have made
101. 4:52about you know five six grand in
102. 4:55shorting so solid there I mean this is a
103. 4:59little messed up because my big game but
104. 5:01you know my losses were smaller than my
105. 5:04long switch is nice nineteen grand
106. 5:06shorting out again to some of my gains
107. 5:09so my expected my extract in our this is
108. 5:14uh my so my average loss is ninety
109. 5:18dollars right so that's one art so on
110. 5:21vivix I made 148 RS which is just not
111. 5:25really accurate because I wasn't risking
112. 5:27a hundred dollars on this so this is
113. 5:29just I just ignore that bother than that
114. 5:33I had about 20 trades over three hours
115. 5:36so that's about one a day making 3x my
116. 5:39money on something and then a bunch of
117. 5:42smaller wins here and then a bunch of
118. 5:45just break-even trades and then a few
119. 5:48bad losses here see yd y this ticker
120. 5:50haunted me the entire month I'll get
121. 5:52into that later though so now to get
122. 5:58into some trades I guess it's go to
123. 6:01pattern performance here so OTC long's
124. 6:05OTC Long's definitely need to work on
125. 6:09these for next month I I messed up a lot
126. 6:13and I just didn't stick to my plans so
127. 6:16for the breakouts the main stock that I
128. 6:19was watching at the start of the month
129. 6:21was QB IO which was a big runner here
130. 6:27and
131. 6:28November and then it was consolidating
132. 6:30for a while and as you can see right
133. 6:32here the range started getting really
134. 6:33tight so this was really interesting to
135. 6:35me if it could pop through 190 and - and
136. 6:38it did so I got long some shares I think
137. 6:42I had about 6k from 195 risking like the
138. 6:45190 area I took a little bit more size
139. 6:48on this because this was one of my
140. 6:49favorite setups of the of the month
141. 6:52going long and stopped out and then I
142. 6:56had to rebuy smaller size over like to
143. 6:59twelve and then I got stopped out here
144. 7:02in this red day so it's just kind of a
145. 7:03mess of a trade but I made about 400
146. 7:05after was all said and done but really
147. 7:09the volume just didn't come in on what
148. 7:12it needed to be as you can see it was
149. 7:13only seven hundred and seventy thousand
150. 7:15shares meanwhile this day had four point
151. 7:17nine million so you know I gave it a go
152. 7:20and it just it wasn't what I wanted
153. 7:21that's all right and then I'll talk
154. 7:26about cui DUI which was the ticker that
155. 7:29I over traded this month and didn't
156. 7:32really make much money on it so my worst
157. 7:34loss was one of these days so did this
158. 7:36there this day and I bought the stock
159. 7:39because it looked like he was going to
160. 7:41do one of these patterns where it
161. 7:42consolidated and then it would perk and
162. 7:44go on a three day run and I made two
163. 7:46grand here so I was like alright I'll
164. 7:47just do it again now it's more ideal
165. 7:49though cuz it's around a dollar so I
166. 7:51bought some shares and then got stopped
167. 7:54out and took a big loss there took a few
168. 7:58sons in slippage because everyone was
169. 8:00trying to bail at the same time and then
170. 8:02I shorted it for a little bit of money
171. 8:03and then earnings came out right and
172. 8:05then I started going up on earnings so I
173. 8:08bought again this day and I was looking
174. 8:11for the breakout and just didn't break
175. 8:13out and was moving so slow so I lost
176. 8:15more money on it again but then it
177. 8:18consolidated right here these days so
178. 8:21now it's very ideal tried buying it this
179. 8:23day when it started to perk a little bit
180. 8:25lost on it again and then was just
181. 8:30ignoring it these days because I was
182. 8:31just so I said I would only buy the
183. 8:34breakout over 118 I'm only buying a
184. 8:36breaker I'm not trying to predict it
185. 8:37anymore
186. 8:38I've lost too much money trying to
187. 8:39predict it
188. 8:40and then it breaks out right and it
189. 8:42spikes up ten cents I'm like all right
190. 8:43here we go
191. 8:44and then just completely slams back down
192. 8:47under review off and go sideways between
193. 8:50a one to two Sun Channel all day took
194. 8:52another loss on it and then missed out
195. 8:54on the run because this day was just so
196. 8:56ugly of a breakout day and just I didn't
197. 9:02have the patience for the stock so even
198. 9:05though like if you did look at it's just
199. 9:07great price action but just in the
200. 9:09moment there's just so many so crews on
201. 9:11each side on the bid and the ask and I
202. 9:14just didn't do great
203. 9:16next ticker I'd want to talk about is MC
204. 9:21IG this was a nice mover here so this
205. 9:27was the OT Swizzle die I only made money
206. 9:29on here so little first Green Day
207. 9:33sideways bought it here made money read
208. 9:36about it here sold in the failed gap
209. 9:38made about five or six hundred bucks and
210. 9:40I guess that was like the only ot
211. 9:42Swizzle that I made money on and then I
212. 9:47bought the breakout again over this five
213. 9:50cent level see I started I started
214. 9:53scaling at four point five here and then
215. 9:57I was adding into here and I sold out
216. 10:00here so I missed this entire round up
217. 10:02this next day but pretty nice ticker
218. 10:07pretty nice name traded it decently and
219. 10:14then my OTC first screen days without a
220. 10:17Swizzle I did the best on obviously me
221. 10:21two grand and this was basically just me
222. 10:24buying some of the supernovas from
223. 10:27December buying their first Green Day's
224. 10:30as you can see OWCP biggest trade
225. 10:33biggest long trade of the month bought
226. 10:36this first green day off the breakout
227. 10:38level textbook right here and it was
228. 10:42really nice from five to eight three
229. 10:44cents a share really nice uh trade there
230. 10:48I think I'm at eight or nine hundred and
231. 10:50then an FF
232. 10:53nice ticker here nice multi-day move not
233. 10:59really supernova because stocks just
234. 11:02down so much but a nice multi-day move
235. 11:06here came all the way down and bought
236. 11:09this first green day on 1231 and started
237. 11:14the year off with seven or $800 gain on
238. 11:16this gap up here so that was a nice
239. 11:20trade and then my last first green day
240. 11:22that I did good on sheet of bhf which
241. 11:28was right here nice first green day off
242. 11:34CGC which is the other weeds the main
243. 11:38weed stock nice break out here so the
244. 11:42stock was breaking out switch to W be a
245. 11:44chef was having a strong first screened
246. 11:46swung some shares sold some into the
247. 11:49gaps sold the rest in and this pullback
248. 11:50and then I went another dollar so I
249. 11:53didn't execute well on this one at all
250. 11:56something to work on for next time but
251. 12:00and then a couple of losses on dip buys
252. 12:02and buying promos and that netted me
253. 12:08about $3,400 not great trading like I
254. 12:11said probably like seven times now but
255. 12:15so the goal for next month is just
256. 12:17create better plans and brisk risky
257. 12:21levels and have a little bit more
258. 12:22patience because we're still getting
259. 12:24some nice breakouts as you can see DF o
260. 12:26DQ nugs some really nice moves here that
261. 12:31I just didn't capitalize on at all and
262. 12:34thing is I bought the Knox breakout at 8
263. 12:37so they're like 85 bought the DFO DQ
264. 12:40breakout of 14 sold at 16 so just just
265. 12:46not trading them well at all so to move
266. 12:48on now to see my OTC shorts which is
267. 12:50kinda the opposite I'm just trading
268. 12:52these really well to get into my biggest
269. 12:57gain here are the X this is what the
270. 13:00chart looks like got promoted from 3 to
271. 13:0311 and then
272. 13:05dumped all the way back down to 2-0 so
273. 13:09just pretty insane volatility here to
274. 13:13the downside when it was over so I got
275. 13:18short the only time I found shares too
276. 13:21short we're in the fives and sixes long
277. 13:23these days and you have to understand
278. 13:26with this kind of setup I am risking a
279. 13:32buy-in because I know the inevitable
280. 13:34ending on these and it's not something
281. 13:38for a beginner trader to trade so if you
282. 13:42guys are new please don't even worry
283. 13:43about this this is uh this can be really
284. 13:47dangerous because these can go a lot
285. 13:51farther than you'd expect
286. 13:53and I was risking about 10% of my equity
287. 13:56on this because it was an a-plus-plus
288. 13:59setup and it was the end of the year and
289. 14:01I kind of wanted to you know either a my
290. 14:04biggest win or my biggest loss and this
291. 14:06was a perfect setup and I felt like I
292. 14:07was ready for it
293. 14:09so I shorted about twenty six hundred
294. 14:11shares in the mid fives and stock dumped
295. 14:16right here and I you know I was
296. 14:17celebrating my victory right here I was
297. 14:19like alright it's over um I was already
298. 14:22up like six grand or something and they
299. 14:26brought the perimeter Sprott all the way
300. 14:27back up on air and then they pumped it
301. 14:29for another five weeks so just three
302. 14:32percent of their just crushing me and
303. 14:34they would they would dip it here you
304. 14:35see they dipped it here they dipped it
305. 14:37here and brought it back so a really
306. 14:41emotional roller coaster but I I stuck
307. 14:44to my plan and that's what was key I had
308. 14:46a clear-cut plan and you know they made
309. 14:50me cry up here but I stuck to my plan
310. 14:54then the stock dumped and had a little
311. 14:58bounce got halted here on the 8th and
312. 15:01then opened way down here clobber about
313. 15:0425 cents made 95% return were thirteen
314. 15:07point four thousand dollars my biggest
315. 15:10gain of my career and then the other
316. 15:13promoted stock I shorted was rocker
317. 15:16it's funny because it was actually the
318. 15:18same day as rebec's that when rib X
319. 15:22opened or the day before of X sorry but
320. 15:26just a little promo here from 10 to 50
321. 15:30nice blow off day here let me show you
322. 15:34guys I have entry day here so just I
323. 15:45shorted this parabolic this day right
324. 15:47here this is this day shorted into this
325. 15:50spike and then the next day I had dumped
326. 15:52and covered into the 30 support and then
327. 15:57I held a little bit overnight anyone was
328. 15:59just breaking down it covered the rest
329. 16:00next day so that's nice and then OTC
330. 16:06first red day this is the what I really
331. 16:09want to size up on next month because as
332. 16:12you can see 4 4 4 & 6 4 6 5 4 5 so nine
333. 16:18for nine on these the entire month and
334. 16:22that netted me about $2,500 so I want to
335. 16:26size up on those next month because I'm
336. 16:28trading them really well some of the
337. 16:30names were Lhasa
338. 16:35another nice Spiker here that I
339. 16:38completely messed up on the long side
340. 16:39but this right here this day is right
341. 16:43here so I've got some shorts off at the
342. 16:46open and stock dumped really nice
343. 16:49covered for 15-20 percent and that was
344. 16:54the nice trade there thing I made 800 on
345. 16:56that
346. 17:01this one shorted it here for a small
347. 17:04gain see ypr got short this day I kind
348. 17:12of messed this one up though played it
349. 17:14too safe short the open made some money
350. 17:17be shorted the balance we're supposed to
351. 17:19be risking this 85 level but I just got
352. 17:22really bored and then I saw a huge big
353. 17:24come in that was gonna profit so I just
354. 17:25got out here for a small game so then
355. 17:29stick to the plan on that one and then
356. 17:30as you can see here just completely
357. 17:33faded off shooting it this day daily
358. 17:40support crack that was soo idy this day
359. 17:45made money on it and then OTC parabolic
360. 17:49that was a dumb trade a shorted dfid
361. 17:51cube mistake so it's just complete utter
362. 17:53rage that I missed a long on it so I
363. 17:56just threw away $150 for no reason but
364. 17:59other than that
365. 18:02sizing up on these and once again just
366. 18:05huge thanks to Kyle for helping me with
367. 18:07my shorts and then listed shorts really
368. 18:11happy with this - first red days I had
369. 18:16no very nice stock just kept gapping for
370. 18:20four days in a row and Akana was
371. 18:21reminding me of a grx when a grx just
372. 18:25gapped and just ran just a little bit
373. 18:27everyday and then had the nice first red
374. 18:28day so I was going into this day with a
375. 18:34plan to short if it went red and then at
376. 18:39the open I looked I saw that went red so
377. 18:41I shorted the bounce cover just kind of
378. 18:43got a feel for it and then shorted this
379. 18:45bounce and missed my hat here because I
380. 18:48was too chicken because my risk low was
381. 18:49five point seven so I was too chicken to
382. 18:52add there and then the stock don't die
383. 18:55covered made like 600 on that I was this
384. 18:57day right here and then as you can see I
385. 19:01just feel comfortable shorting this
386. 19:02because every daily candles red so at
387. 19:05the open it's just really heavy nice
388. 19:08trade there and then shorting Gabor's
389. 19:11this is something that I just started
390. 19:12doing this year I've been tracking the
391. 19:14gaffers
392. 19:15trying to find an edge I see I've been
393. 19:18seeing an edge with dilution and history
394. 19:20of gapping craps so we'll get into a few
395. 19:26my trades trxye this was the one with
396. 19:30the ATM this day beautiful gap and crap
397. 19:35short it's um here and of course keep in
398. 19:38mind guys I'm playing very small size
399. 19:39not a thousand shares on any of these
400. 19:42I'm using like 300 400 700 just under a
401. 19:45thousand stay safe since I'm still
402. 19:47learning it made a nice gain here and
403. 19:49then we shorted a little bit too early
404. 19:51and squeezed when I should have been
405. 19:53adding and then bursting a double top so
406. 19:56I kind of learned from this trade a
407. 19:58little bit how to go better about them
408. 20:01how to trade them a little bit better so
409. 20:05that was my first trade on them and then
410. 20:08my next trade was CTX a bunch of history
411. 20:16a gap in gap and craps with smash
412. 20:20resistance up here in the 328 level so I
413. 20:24started shorting so it was just so
414. 20:26choppy and then I got squeezed and then
415. 20:28I looked back on these gap and crap days
416. 20:30and I saw that they all had these big
417. 20:32wicks up so that means that the stocks
418. 20:34usually spikes and then dumps into
419. 20:36clothes so after that I saw like this
420. 20:38lower high with some sellers shorted
421. 20:41that made my money back
422. 20:42called it a day on that one for
423. 20:44breakeven learned from it and then these
424. 20:47next ones I did really good on si and
425. 20:52tee just a couple days ago they had some
426. 20:54dilution kind of looks like CET X right
427. 20:57and it's basically just shorted a couple
428. 21:02hundred shares here covered made a
429. 21:04little pre market money just to get a
430. 21:06feel and then short of the spike and
431. 21:08where I would be covering trxye I was
432. 21:11adding like I said I learned from it
433. 21:14last time and then basically just rolled
434. 21:17over covered in the support at the 230 s
435. 21:20from here nice trade there
436. 21:24and uh ii ii ii or l ee this was a nice
437. 21:31one
438. 21:32i saw a big seller at the $3 level so i
439. 21:35shorted and this one was a lower float
440. 21:37and didn't have as obvious didn't see
441. 21:41obvious die wishing it so i was playing
442. 21:44a safe covering into dips and i kept a
443. 21:51two-thirds of my size from up here and
444. 21:54then i was just kind of playing safe
445. 21:56here so that if it did squeeze I could
446. 21:59get out for a small loss or maybe a
447. 22:01small game by just mark there making
448. 22:03some of the pops and the dips really
449. 22:06happy with this trade honestly traded
450. 22:08really nice so you know about so
451. 22:13learning about the gaffer's and then
452. 22:18sure did a couple parabolic cuz I were
453. 22:20just going nuts just for some quick
454. 22:22money I think it was here for three on
455. 22:23those solid me two grand solid solid and
456. 22:28then listed Long's not really trading
457. 22:32with an edge here so I'm happy that I
458. 22:33was green and my goal is just completely
459. 22:37cut these out next month and just narrow
460. 22:39in on my shorts more that now that I'm
461. 22:41having a better feel for these on first
462. 22:43red days on extended socks and gaffers
463. 22:45with that Lucien history of gap and
464. 22:47craps so but like one good long I made
465. 22:52like 600 bucks on or 500 bucks was an
466. 22:55NBC just a couple of days story last
467. 22:59Friday or last Thursday after hours they
468. 23:02dropped the P R and I just looked at the
469. 23:04action I was like well this is kind of
470. 23:05crappy like shorts are gonna get
471. 23:06squeezed bought some shares at 14 like
472. 23:10250 or 260 n-- made a nice profit there
473. 23:16and that was my only real win went like
474. 23:20over five on breakouts and as that
475. 23:22breakout suck but that's basically all I
476. 23:26got for you guys I'm just gonna try to
477. 23:29keep adapting and getting better
478. 23:31learning from my mistakes and then just
479. 23:34meticulously tracking all this stuff
480. 23:35guys like if you can see you
481. 23:37all my sheets down here just you gotta
482. 23:40track all your stuff meticulously so you
483. 23:42know what you're doing right and wrong
484. 23:44but that's that's it for me I hope you
