- 0:06Greetings and salutations everyone. My
- 0:08name is Andrew Pureov and welcome to my
- 0:09YouTube channel. Today we're talking
- 0:10about my top 36 quarterback rankings for
- 0:12your upcoming 2026 fantasy football
- 0:14draft. Now, it was a couple weeks ago
- 0:16that we talked about my top 20
- 0:18quarterbacks. But as we're approaching
- 0:19our final weekend of drafts, I wanted to
- 0:21go ahead and talk about my top 36
- 0:23quarterbacks for those of you who play
- 0:24in a superflex format. I've included the
- 0:26extra quarterbacks at the end so you
- 0:28know who you're targeting for your third
- 0:30quarterback on roster. Now, before I get
- 0:32into talking about these players on an
- 0:33individual basis and presenting
- 0:34statistics that justify my rankings
- 0:36going into the 2026 season, quick
- 0:38reminder, there are timestamps down
- 0:40below if you want to hear my thoughts on
- 0:41a specific player. And before we get
- 0:43into talking about these quarterbacks,
- 0:44last time I talked about the quarterback
- 0:46position in regards to my top 20
- 0:47quarterback rankings, I mentioned
- 0:49statistics in regards to the rate at
- 0:51which quarterbacks produce 20 plus
- 0:53fantasy points in a given week. but I
- 0:55didn't display it on screen. So, I
- 0:56wanted to go ahead and do that now and
- 0:58of course mention just how important it
- 1:00is for our quarterbacks that contribute
- 1:02potential week- winning performances.
- 1:04So, over the course of the last couple
- 1:05seasons, 2023 to 2025, when we isolate
- 1:07games in which quarterbacks started and
- 1:09didn't leave early due to an injury, we
- 1:11find that guys like Josh Allen, Lamar
- 1:12Jackson, Jaden Daniels, Jaylen Herz, Joe
- 1:15Burrow are at the top of the
- 1:16conversation in regards to percentage
- 1:18rate of 20 plus point performances over
- 1:21the course of the last three seasons.
- 1:22Now, it doesn't come as any surprise
- 1:24that guys like Lamar Jackson and Josh
- 1:25Allen, who are our top two quarterbacks,
- 1:27are producing 20 plus fantasy points
- 1:29over 62% of the time over the course of
- 1:31the last three seasons when they've been
- 1:33healthy. Now, a couple of the sneaky
- 1:35options that are at the top of this
- 1:36conversation are guys like Brock Pury,
- 1:38Kyler Murray, you know, Malik Willis at
- 1:40the very top. Obviously, his overall
- 1:41game contributions. He's only had three
- 1:43starts in the last two seasons as a
- 1:44member of the Green Bay Packers. And of
- 1:46course, Jackson Dart up there. Seven of
- 1:48his 12 performances throughout his
- 1:49career, 58%, 20 plus fantasy points.
- 1:52Now, of course, we continue on with this
- 1:53conversation in regards to some of these
- 1:55other quarterbacks who haven't been as
- 1:56successful in recent years, but this
- 1:58doesn't mean that they're not going to
- 1:59be able to pick it up going into 2026,
- 2:02but I wanted to go ahead and present
- 2:03these statistics before I mention them
- 2:04over the course of today's episode, so
- 2:06you have a reference point as to where
- 2:07I'm pulling these numbers from. Now, on
- 2:09the other end of the spectrum, we also
- 2:10want to avoid the quarterbacks who are
- 2:11putting forward weekly losing
- 2:13performances of less than 15 fantasy
- 2:15points. Now, at the top of this
- 2:16conversation, players that have been
- 2:18incredible at avoiding performing less
- 2:20than 15 fantasy points are guys like
- 2:22Drake May, Jackson Dart, Jaylen Herz,
- 2:24Jaden Daniels, Lamar, you know, Josh
- 2:25Allen. Of course, guys that are
- 2:27continuously at the top of the
- 2:28conversation going into our 2026 draft.
- 2:31And once again, someone like Brock Party
- 2:32continues to pop up at a lower rate.
- 2:34While on the other end of the spectrum,
- 2:36we have quarterbacks that we are
- 2:37outright avoiding at all costs. Players
- 2:39like, of course, Gino to a tongue of
- 2:41Ailo, etc. Hopefully, you don't have to
- 2:43start them in your superflex format. But
- 2:44either way, I just wanted to go ahead
- 2:45and present these statistics before we
- 2:47get into my top 36 rankings. Before we
- 2:49get into those rankings, again, for
- 2:50those of you guys who are looking for my
- 2:51all-encompassing rankings at all
- 2:53positions for this upcoming season,
- 2:54whether it's for your draft or every
- 2:56single Sunday morning, be sure to travel
- 2:57down to the description of the video,
- 2:58check out Parlay Play. When you use code
- 3:00Andrew, make that first time deposit and
- 3:01make a first-time play minimum of $10
- 3:03within a real cash play. You'll be
- 3:05eligible to get my rankings for my email
- 3:07directly to yours every single week for
- 3:08the remainder of the season. These are
- 3:10draft rankings. And additionally, these
- 3:11are Sunday morning rankings to help you
- 3:12set your lineups. And don't forget, we
- 3:14are closely approaching week one of the
- 3:15NFL season, and there's already a
- 3:17freebie available on the site in regards
- 3:19to Drake May.5 passing yards. So, take
- 3:21advantage of the opportunity. You can go
- 3:23ahead and still put together plays in
- 3:24regards to the NFL season. I love the
- 3:26idea of going ahead and putting putting
- 3:27together a play of Jared Goff, more than
- 3:294,50 passing yards. Joe Burrow, more
- 3:32than 4,000 passing yards. I think both
- 3:33these quarterbacks are going to crush
- 3:34their numbers. But beyond that, on the
- 3:36website now, today live, we have week
- 3:38one numbers in which you can put
- 3:40together place in regards to the week
- 3:41one matchups of the NFL season. So for
- 3:43those of you who have already drafted
- 3:44your teams, you can look forward to
- 3:46potentially putting some place together
- 3:47via parlay play. Check out the maps to
- 3:49the right side of the screen to
- 3:50determine your eligibility based on your
- 3:51current location. And of course, thank
- 3:53you for using code Andrew and supporting
- 3:54the channel. All right, let's get into
- 3:56talking about my top 36 quarterbacks.
- 3:58Beginning with our number one, of
- 3:59course, it's no-brainer. It's Josh
- 4:00Allen, the quarterback that since 2020
- 4:02has only ever ranked as the number one
- 4:04or number two overall quarterback in
- 4:06fantasy football. And since 2023, he's
- 4:08averaging 23.19 fantasy points per game.
- 4:11And even though those numbers have been
- 4:12higher in the past, he now has the
- 4:14opportunity of playing with DJ Moore
- 4:15this upcoming season, which is only
- 4:17going to help his potential for upside,
- 4:18especially with a healthy Daltton
- 4:20Concaid. I think this offense is going
- 4:21to continue their streak of success. as
- 4:23over the course of the last two seasons,
- 4:25we've seen back-to-back years where the
- 4:26Buffalo Bills have been top two in total
- 4:29offensive touchdowns scored. So, of
- 4:30course, Josh Allen, our number one
- 4:32quarterback going into this season. Now,
- 4:33we will continue with Lamar Jackson
- 4:35among the S tier primarily because there
- 4:37are no other quarterbacks that can match
- 4:39the ceiling of production of Lamar
- 4:40Jackson. In 2019, averaged 27 and a half
- 4:43fantasy points per game. In 2024, 25 and
- 4:46a half fantasy points per game. prior to
- 4:48his injury last season from weeks one
- 4:49through three was averaging 27.56
- 4:52fantasy points per game and was on pace
- 4:54to break all the records. Again, his
- 4:55ceiling is incredibly high and with a
- 4:57new offensive coordinator in Declan
- 4:59Doyle, the former OC of the Chicago
- 5:01Bears, we're going to see a lot more
- 5:02under center in play action
- 5:03opportunities for Lamar Jackson because
- 5:05Caleb Williams last season was number
- 5:06two amongst all quarterbacks in play
- 5:08action drop backs. Since 2022, Lamar
- 5:10Jackson is number one in EPA per drop
- 5:12back under center and number one in
- 5:14terms of success rate under center on
- 5:16play action plays. expect for Lamar
- 5:17Jackson to have a huge season here in
- 5:192026. To begin the eighth year, we have
- 5:21Drake May. Look, Drake May in 2025, an
- 5:23incredible performance of 20.67 fantasy
- 5:25points per game through weeks 1 through
- 5:2718. With his contributions, he helped
- 5:29elevate the New England Patriots to
- 5:30being number four in offensive
- 5:31touchdowns scored, number one in passing
- 5:33attempts when leading. He was the number
- 5:34one quarterback in terms of completion
- 5:35percentage, number one in yards per
- 5:37attempt, 8.9. And now he has the
- 5:39additions of AJ Brown, Romeo Dobs, an
- 5:42improved offensive line. I think he's
- 5:43only going to get better going into year
- 5:45three. Number four, we have Joe Burrow.
- 5:47Look, we cannot forget what Joe Burrow
- 5:49did in a full healthy season back in
- 5:512024 where he threw for 4,900 yards, 43
- 5:54passing touchdowns, set a careerhigh in
- 5:57passing attempts, completions,
- 5:58completion percentage, passing yards,
- 6:00and passing touchdowns. Yes, he does not
- 6:01have the rushing upside that these other
- 6:04quarterbacks that I previously mentioned
- 6:05have, but over the course of his last 19
- 6:07healthy games, he's averaging 22.34
- 6:10fantasy points per game on 2.79
- 6:13touchdowns per game, 292.63
- 6:16passing yards per game. There's a reason
- 6:17why I presented that parlay play of the
- 6:20day earlier in regards to his passing
- 6:22yards going over 4,000 because in the
- 6:23last 19 healthy games, averaging nearly
- 6:26293
- 6:27passing yards a contest. expect for a
- 6:29lot of success here in 2026. Jayen
- 6:32Daniels is our number five. The
- 6:33thumbnail of today's episode is a
- 6:34quarterback that, yes, last season was
- 6:36completely derailed due to injury, and
- 6:38there are some durability concerns and
- 6:40right now a lot of offensive line
- 6:42concerns considering there's been a lot
- 6:44of injuries that have already taken
- 6:45place this offseason. But when we look
- 6:47back to 2024 from weeks one through the
- 6:49playoffs, in the full games in which he
- 6:51played, 18 of them, was averaging 23.2
- 6:53fantasy points per game. In the last 23
- 6:56games that he has played with 85% of the
- 6:58snaps minimum, he's averaging 7.2
- 7:00fantasy points per game, just from
- 7:02rushing statistics alone. I know there
- 7:04are durability concerns. I know there
- 7:05are offensive line concerns. But when
- 7:07you're surrounded with, of course,
- 7:08Stefon Diggs, Terry McLuren, and the
- 7:10rushing ability of Jaden Daniels, I'm
- 7:12anticipating for him to continue to be a
- 7:14top five upside player at the
- 7:16quarterback position. Number six to
- 7:18close out the eighth here is Jaylen
- 7:20Herz. Look, in 2023 and 2024, he was top
- 7:23four in fantasy points per game both
- 7:24seasons, averaging 22.26 and 22.18
- 7:28fantasy points per game. Now, I
- 7:29understand many of you may be concerned
- 7:31regarding his potential considering he
- 7:33is going to have a fifth different
- 7:34offensive coordinator in 5 years. Yes,
- 7:36you have Shawn Manion coming in, but I
- 7:38only think that's going to help improve
- 7:39this offense. With the new OC, we have
- 7:41an improved scheme. We have a first
- 7:42round selected wide receiver in Mai
- 7:44Lemon. And we have to remember that
- 7:45Jaylen Herz back in 2021, prior to the
- 7:48arrival of AJ Brown, was averaging 21
- 7:50fantasy points per game. So even in the
- 7:52absence of AJ Brown, I'm not
- 7:54anticipating for Jaylen Herz to fall off
- 7:55of a cliff. I expect his rushing upside
- 7:57to increase this upcoming season, which
- 7:59is only going to make him even more
- 8:00fantasy relevant. Number seven, Trevor
- 8:03Lawrence. A player that is being drafted
- 8:05right now around QB1, which is quite a
- 8:07surprise based on what he was able to
- 8:09produce last year, especially in that
- 8:11second half of the season within a Liam
- 8:12Cohen offense. We have to remember it
- 8:14was his first year within that scheme.
- 8:16But in the back end of the season, weeks
- 8:179 through 18, averaging 22.6 fantasy
- 8:20points per game on 2.7 touchdowns per
- 8:22game. But from weeks 13 through 18 was
- 8:24even better, averaging 27 fantasy points
- 8:26per game on 3.17 touchdowns per game. He
- 8:30was number three amongst all
- 8:31quarterbacks in EPA over dropback,
- 8:32number five in QBR, number five in
- 8:34success rate, number one on explosive
- 8:36plays, and he has room to improve in
- 8:382026 because amongst all quarterbacks
- 8:40last year, he was number one in terms of
- 8:42ontarget passes that were dropped, 39
- 8:44total. Expect for Trevor Lawrence to be
- 8:46even better in 2026.
- 8:49Dak Prescott is our number eight. Look,
- 8:50when Dak Prescott has been healthy
- 8:52throughout his entire career, he is
- 8:54always ranked as a top 12 fantasy
- 8:55quarterback. In the last two full
- 8:57healthy seasons with Brian Shottenheimer
- 8:59a part of this organization, he's
- 9:00averaged 19.57 and 20.17 fantasy points.
- 9:04He's been a top six quarterback in both
- 9:06of those years. So, I'm anticipating for
- 9:08of course Dak Prescott to continue that
- 9:09streak of success. Now, the only factor
- 9:11that can improve Dak Prescott going into
- 9:13this upcoming season is his defense.
- 9:14From 2021 to 2023, the Dallas Cowboys
- 9:17defense were top 10 ranked every single
- 9:19year. In those three seasons, the Dallas
- 9:20Cowboys offense ranked number one 4-1 in
- 9:23points per game scored. If their defense
- 9:25is far improved this year, so will Dak
- 9:27Prescott going into our fantasy season.
- 9:29Number nine, we have Justin Herbert.
- 9:30Look, last season he was the third most
- 9:32sacked quarterback 54 times. He was the
- 9:34most hit quarterback 129 times. He led
- 9:37the league in terms of his drop backs
- 9:38that were under pressure. Again, that
- 9:40was a ridiculous rate with a new
- 9:42improved offensive line that is healthy
- 9:43and an improved supporting cast. And
- 9:45beyond that, a new offensive coordinator
- 9:46in Mike McDaniel who has made Tua a
- 9:49tongue of Aloa not only a relevant
- 9:51fantasy quarterback in the past 2022,
- 9:532023, but also made him look good at
- 9:55times. I would anticipate for Justin
- 9:58Herbert, who is a significantly better
- 10:00talent and quarterback than someone like
- 10:01Tua Tongoa to be able to continue to
- 10:04improve throughout his career and
- 10:05perhaps put together his best fantasy
- 10:07season yet. I know back a couple years
- 10:09ago, he ranked as number two overall. I
- 10:11think we could reach that level of
- 10:13success if this offense is a top five
- 10:14powerhouse in the league. Number 10, we
- 10:17have Caleb Williams. Last season
- 10:19averaged 18.66 fantasy points per game.
- 10:21He closed out the season strong with
- 10:23seven consecutive games of two
- 10:24touchdowns scored, but he still has
- 10:26accuracy issues. From weeks 9 through
- 10:2818, despite how incredible this offense
- 10:30was, he had a 55.65%
- 10:33completion percentage. And with another
- 10:35year under the Ben Johnson offense,
- 10:36we're going to hope that Caleb Williams
- 10:38feels more comfortable. But ultimately,
- 10:40if he can shape up and be a 65% passing
- 10:43completion quarterback, my goodness, he
- 10:45could easily be a top four fantasy
- 10:46option going into this upcoming season.
- 10:48It's purely up to whether or not he is
- 10:50going to progress at that high of a rate
- 10:52going into this year or if his accuracy
- 10:54struggles are going to continue. Number
- 10:5611 is my favorite quarterback to draft
- 10:58in fantasy football, Brock Pury, because
- 11:00in the last three consecutive seasons,
- 11:01he is ranked in the top 12 in fantasy
- 11:03points per game every single year. The
- 11:05last three years being number eight, 11,
- 11:07and 12. So when you go ahead and look at
- 11:08his 2025 campaign despite the fact that
- 11:11he missed time with an injury in the
- 11:12nine healthy games was averaging 19.71
- 11:15fantasy points per game and you can get
- 11:16him incredibly late in your upcoming
- 11:18drafts with the 49ers weapons still of
- 11:20course recovering from their injuries.
- 11:22George KD coming back, Mike Evans of
- 11:24course in his hamstrings continuing to
- 11:26be a problem. You still have a lot of
- 11:27threats with Christian McCaffrey. You
- 11:29still have Debo Samuel, Deshun
- 11:30Stribbling. If everyone is healthy
- 11:32within this offense this upcoming year,
- 11:33I would anticipate for Brock Birdie not
- 11:35only to be an automatic top 12, but have
- 11:37even more upside considering he has
- 11:39showed willingness to run the football.
- 11:41Last year, he had a 17game pace of 280
- 11:44rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns.
- 11:46If that unlocks this upcoming season, he
- 11:48could easily jump into the top 10 and
- 11:49even go further beyond that. Now, our
- 11:52number 12 is Kyler Murray. From all that
- 11:54we've heard in the last 24 to 48 hours
- 11:56is that JJ McCarthy is dealing with a
- 11:58quote unquote ankle injury. That is once
- 12:00again a narrative that we saw last
- 12:01season in which when they didn't want to
- 12:03utilize JJ McCarthy and they wanted to
- 12:05hide him behind Carson Wentz. They
- 12:07utilized that and that's once again the
- 12:09case here as you know Carson Wentz has
- 12:11been named the second string quarterback
- 12:12and going forward we should not be
- 12:14concerned about Kyler Murray at any
- 12:17point this upcoming season being
- 12:18benched. And when you talk about
- 12:20quarterbacks who have been with Kevin
- 12:21Oonnell in the last couple years Kevin
- 12:23Oonnell has made every quarterback
- 12:25better except for JJ. That's the one
- 12:27outlier. Otherwise, Kurt Cousins ranked
- 12:29as QB 8 and six and Darnold ranked as
- 12:32QB9. So, if we're talking about the
- 12:34potential of Kyler Murray, who in the
- 12:36last three seasons where he has played
- 12:3816 or more games, he is ranked as
- 12:39quarterback 8, three, and 10, and now
- 12:42has an improvement in terms of the
- 12:43weapons around him, whether that's
- 12:44Justin Jefferson, Jordan, T.J. Hawinson,
- 12:47Jawan Jennings, an improved offensive
- 12:48line, an improved defense, an improved
- 12:50play calling altogether. In my opinion,
- 12:52Kyler Murray is an automatic top 12 for
- 12:54fantasy purposes if he could stay
- 12:55healthy. Number 13, another quarterback
- 12:57that we have to hope can stay healthy is
- 12:59Jackson Dart. Look, going into year two,
- 13:01I do believe that there is going to be
- 13:02defensive coordinators that now figure
- 13:04out Jackson Dart. But with a new
- 13:06offensive scheme, of course, they're
- 13:07going to try to force him into, you
- 13:09know, making the mistakes that he did
- 13:10last year. But ultimately, his rushing
- 13:12upside is just far too valuable for
- 13:14fantasy purposes. You don't have to be a
- 13:16great in real life quarterback to be an
- 13:18incredible fantasy contributor. as last
- 13:20season in the four games in which he
- 13:22played with Cam Scataboo was averaging
- 13:248.95 fantasy points per game from
- 13:26rushing statistics alone, he was better
- 13:28with Scat on the field than when Scat
- 13:30was eventually gone. Again, when you
- 13:32have that rushing threat there, it only
- 13:34helps. You have a new coaching staff,
- 13:36you have an improved offensive line, you
- 13:37have new weapons and neighbors coming
- 13:39back. Jackson at base minimum should be
- 13:4113 because that's where he ranked last
- 13:43year. But my primary concern is injury
- 13:45risk and of course going into the year 2
- 13:47struggles in which defensive
- 13:48coordinators have figured you out in the
- 13:50event in which those two things can be
- 13:52bypassed can very easily rank as a top
- 13:54eight quarterback this season. Number 14
- 13:56is Patrick Mahomes. Look, he is
- 13:58consistently always been a top 12
- 14:00contributor for fantasy purposes. And
- 14:02over the last couple years, I have
- 14:03learned to never doubt Patrick Mahomes.
- 14:05And even though the number 14 rank may
- 14:07seem like I'm doubting him, it's purely
- 14:09just a matter of him coming off of the
- 14:10ACL. last season prior to injury was
- 14:13averaging over 20 fantasy points per
- 14:14game, but five of those fantasy points
- 14:16were from his rushing statistics. So, if
- 14:18we're going to see a potential 32 to 35%
- 14:20drop in yards, because I've looked at
- 14:22quarterbacks over the course of the last
- 14:23decade coming off ACL injuries, and they
- 14:25on average saw about a 30 to 35% drop in
- 14:28their overall rushing yardage. If that
- 14:30is going to take place, of course, we
- 14:32would anticipate for his overall upside
- 14:33for fantasy success to dip. And when
- 14:35that does in fact take place, the number
- 14:3714 spot is a perfect landing point for
- 14:39Patrick Mahomes. Number 15 is Bo Knicks.
- 14:42Look, back-to-back seasons, he has
- 14:43ranked as the number seven overall
- 14:45quarterback in fantasy, but he's
- 14:46averaged 18.63 and 17.93 fantasy points
- 14:50per game in comparison to all the other
- 14:51quarterbacks I've already mentioned.
- 14:53Everybody else is producing more on a
- 14:54per week basis in comparison to Bo
- 14:56Nicks. Now, I understand he's coming off
- 14:58of a year in which he was quite
- 14:59underwhelming and he did lead the league
- 15:01in total passing attempts. And if that
- 15:03can go ahead and take place once again
- 15:05this year, now that you add in Jaylen
- 15:07Wadd to the overall equation, you still
- 15:09have rushing upside with Bo Knicks. I
- 15:10think the number 15 overall rank is
- 15:12beyond fair. And I understand that he
- 15:14fell victim to the second most dropped
- 15:16passes amongst all quarterbacks last
- 15:18season with 37. And if those potentially
- 15:20clean up, there's even more room for
- 15:21improvement. But ultimately, Bo Knicks
- 15:23right now, if in fact he goes ahead and
- 15:25jumps back into being an 18 and a half
- 15:26to 19 point contributor, this is exactly
- 15:29what I anticipate. That's what I am
- 15:30projecting. and yet I still have him as
- 15:32my number 15. For those of you who are
- 15:34thinking he should be ranked higher, the
- 15:36only reason you think that is because
- 15:37majority of these years a lot of
- 15:39quarterbacks get hurt. Last season there
- 15:40was no Lamar, there was no Jayen
- 15:42Daniels, there was no Joe Burrow. Again,
- 15:44when these quarterbacks are missing
- 15:45because of injury, of course, it makes a
- 15:47huge difference and bumps quarterbacks
- 15:49like this who can stay healthy up the
- 15:50board, even though on a per week
- 15:52average, they're not as great as the
- 15:53others. Number 16 is Matthew Stafford.
- 15:56Look, I wanted to just go ahead and
- 15:57remention a statistic I mentioned the
- 15:59other day. Since 2021, 92% of the
- 16:02quarterbacks who were associated with a
- 16:04top five scoring offense were top 12
- 16:05ranked. That's 23 of the last 25. So,
- 16:08anticipate for Matthew Stafford to
- 16:10hopefully have another big year ahead.
- 16:12And even though he's coming off of a
- 16:13season in which he set a career-high of
- 16:1446 passing touchdowns and a career-high
- 16:17350 fantasy points, if we go ahead and
- 16:19project a regression of 10 passing
- 16:21touchdowns, that's going to get Matthew
- 16:23Stafford within the range of about 17 to
- 16:2518 fantasy points per game, which is
- 16:27pretty much Jared Goffesque numbers. But
- 16:29a couple years ago, Aaron Rogers going
- 16:31from 2020 to 2021, he produced
- 16:33back-to-back MVP seasons at age 36 and
- 16:3637. Last season, Matthew Stafford was
- 16:3837. Going into age 38 season, I would
- 16:40anticipate him to have a chance to be
- 16:43better than the number 16 overall spot,
- 16:45especially considering, of course,
- 16:46everything's looking like this Los
- 16:47Angeles Rams team is not only going to
- 16:49be the best team in the league, but of
- 16:51course, going to be scoring a lot of
- 16:52points ahead. Number 17 is Jared Gooff.
- 16:54Again, in the same breath, in which I
- 16:56just mentioned that statistic, I will
- 16:57mention it once again. Since 2021, 92%
- 17:00of the quarterbacks who have been
- 17:01associated with a top five scoring
- 17:03offense have been top 12 ranked in
- 17:04fantasy. And over the course of the last
- 17:06three seasons, as the Lions have played
- 17:07out of their minds, Jared Goff has done
- 17:08as well, ranking as quarterback 9, six,
- 17:11and seven overall. But in terms of
- 17:12fantasy points per game on average, he's
- 17:14ranked as quarterback 20, seven, and 18.
- 17:18Even in the event in which he was able
- 17:19to have himself an incredible season
- 17:20ahead, which I am anticipating
- 17:22considering the Lions upcoming schedule
- 17:23is a cakewalk. The primary reason he has
- 17:25been a top 10 fantasy quarterback for
- 17:27three consecutive years is because other
- 17:29quarterbacks get injured. Otherwise, his
- 17:31fantasy point per game contributions in
- 17:33comparison to the rest of the field of
- 17:34the quarterback conversation lands him
- 17:35at the number 17 position. A number 18
- 17:38to close out this year is Jordan Love.
- 17:39With the most recent news to Josh
- 17:41Jacobs, there is an anticipation that
- 17:42this offense is not going to be able to
- 17:44run the football as much as they did in
- 17:46prior years because they're not going to
- 17:47find as much success. And when we travel
- 17:49back to 2023, in the absence of Josh
- 17:51Shakeups that year, as he was still a
- 17:52Raider, Jordan Love was averaging 34
- 17:54passing attempts per game and was
- 17:56averaging over 18 and a half fantasy
- 17:58points per game that season. Why that's
- 18:00so important is because we could once
- 18:01again see that this year because over
- 18:03the course of the last three seasons, in
- 18:04games in which Jordan Love has had 30
- 18:06attempts minimum within those given
- 18:08games, averaging 18.53 fantasy points
- 18:11per game. Now, going from 30 passing
- 18:13attempts his most recent season to
- 18:14potentially 34 35 may not seem like a
- 18:17lot. That's 70 to 90 extra passing
- 18:19attempts over the course of a given
- 18:21season and that much more potential for
- 18:22upside, especially considering when you
- 18:24go ahead and drop back, it'll either
- 18:25lead to passing points or scrambling for
- 18:27Jordan Love that if in fact he can stay
- 18:29healthy with the weapons that surround
- 18:31him now healthy again. We got to
- 18:32remember last season it was either
- 18:34Christian Watson missing time or Reed or
- 18:36Craft. Now that he has all of them back,
- 18:38Jordan Love could very easily jump into
- 18:40the top 12 conversation this season.
- 18:42Number 19 is Tyler Shock. last season at
- 18:44the starter from weeks 9 through 18
- 18:46averaging 17 fantasy points per game.
- 18:48Fantastic. But from weeks 13 through 18
- 18:50really found his stride in the final six
- 18:52games of the season averaging 19.58
- 18:54fantasy points per game. Now going into
- 18:56this upcoming season, Tyler Shook has a
- 18:57huge opportunity on hand. He has the
- 18:59second easiest strength to schedule
- 19:01based on opponent win percentage last
- 19:03season. Again, if in fact you can go
- 19:05ahead and string together huge wins and
- 19:07potentially turn the Saints from the
- 19:08worst team in the NFC South to
- 19:10potentially the first place team in that
- 19:12division, this is a quarterback that has
- 19:13shown a tendency to run. Last season was
- 19:15on a 17game pace at 434 rushing yards on
- 19:1885 attempts. If you can go ahead and
- 19:21unlock the rushing on top of the fact
- 19:22that this offense can pull together a
- 19:24lot of victories because of the easy
- 19:25strength to schedule ahead. Again, Tyler
- 19:27Shaw could very easily jump into that
- 19:29top 15 conversation if not better this
- 19:31season. Baker Mayfield's our number 20.
- 19:33Look, he's dealt with a lot of injuries
- 19:34over the course of the last couple
- 19:35years. In 2025, his injuries absolutely
- 19:38derailed his overall accuracy levels,
- 19:40but mainly his fantasy point
- 19:42contributions. But amongst all the
- 19:44quarterbacks that we have presented thus
- 19:46far, no other quarterback has dealt with
- 19:47as many injuries to their skill players.
- 19:49Maybe Brock Pery's up there, but Baker
- 19:51Mayfield losing guys like Mike Evans and
- 19:52Chris Godwin has certainly been a speed
- 19:54bump over the course of the last two
- 19:55seasons. And now that continues with a
- 19:57Mecca Ibuka currently dealing with an
- 19:59injury and now he has his fourth
- 20:00different offensive coordinator in four
- 20:02years as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. It's a
- 20:04prove it year ahead with a contract on
- 20:06the line. I'm hoping for Baker Mayfield
- 20:07to ball out but doesn't look like the
- 20:09perfect recipe for success. Number 21 is
- 20:12Malik Willis. Look, in the full three
- 20:14games he played for the Green Bay
- 20:15Packers as our starter was averaging
- 20:1723.29 fantasy points per game. Was
- 20:19averaging 406 fantasy points per snap.
- 20:22Had a 79.6% 6% passing completion
- 20:25percentage and in those three games ran
- 20:27for 174 yards and three rushing
- 20:29touchdowns. When we look at the past
- 20:31decade of fantasy football, there have
- 20:32been 25 quarterbacks who have surpassed
- 20:34500 rushing yards and played 15 full
- 20:36games. All 25 of those quarterbacks were
- 20:39top 10 ranked in fantasy football. If
- 20:40Malik Willis can be a contributor in
- 20:43which he rushes the ball for over 500
- 20:44yards, anticipate automatic success,
- 20:47assuming he plays 15 games. Beyond that,
- 20:49we're talking about quarterbacks that
- 20:50over the course of the last decade
- 20:52surpassed a 100 rushing attempts. All of
- 20:54those quarterbacks top 10 ranked as
- 20:56well. There's even more potential for
- 20:57upside. As long as he can stay healthy
- 20:59within this offense, I don't care who
- 21:01surrounds him, his legs will get the job
- 21:02done. Number 22, Daniel Jones. You may
- 21:05not believe he deserves to be in this
- 21:07position, but based on what we have seen
- 21:08from training camp and what we have
- 21:10heard from the reports, there has been
- 21:11no apparent regression from Daniel Jones
- 21:13in terms of his overall movement. And
- 21:14he's coming off of a season in which he
- 21:16was averaging 18.8 8 fantasy points per
- 21:18game prior to injury on pace for 4,300
- 21:21yards, 27 passing touchdowns, 227
- 21:24rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns,
- 21:26and 320 fantasy points. Man, Philip
- 21:29Rivers came off of the literal couch and
- 21:31actually was able to sling the pillow of
- 21:32that offense. That's how you know the
- 21:34Colts are a good football team. And with
- 21:35a healthy Daniel Jones, as long as we
- 21:37can get back a healthy Alec Pierce, Josh
- 21:39Downs, and Keen Allen can stay out of
- 21:40trouble, there's a lot of potential for
- 21:42success for Daniel Jones. Sam Darnold is
- 21:44our number 23. we begin the streak of
- 21:46quarterbacks who in regards to a
- 21:48potential superflex format, you might
- 21:50want to pay attention here. Sam Darnold
- 21:51is one of those quarterbacks you can
- 21:52trust because you know that of course
- 21:53he's coming off of a Super Bowl. You can
- 21:55trust that he's not going to be replaced
- 21:57and it is an investment that you again
- 21:58are going to get a quarterback that is
- 21:59going to play all 17 games. So, as your
- 22:01QB2, it works. As your QB3, it's even
- 22:04better. In the event in which this
- 22:05Seahawks offense regresses in their
- 22:07rushing attack, we could see even more
- 22:08passing opportunities because again,
- 22:10last season, the Seattle Seahawks were
- 22:11among the bottom five in terms of total
- 22:13passing attempts. If those numbers jump
- 22:15this upcoming season, it could help Sam
- 22:16Donald. But even in games last year
- 22:18during the regular season in which he
- 22:19had 30 or more attempts, he still was
- 22:21only averaging 15.29 fantasy points per
- 22:24game. So again, still the number 283
- 22:26overall player. Cam Ward is our number
- 22:2824. Look, with the new offensive
- 22:30coordinator, Brian Dable, I am hoping
- 22:31that of course it is going to unlock Cam
- 22:33Ward's rushing ability. Over the course
- 22:35of the last seven seasons as an
- 22:37offensive coordinator or head coach and
- 22:39play caller, whether it was with the
- 22:40Giants or the Bills from 2019 to 2025,
- 22:44we have seen Brian Dball's quarterbacks
- 22:46average 115 rushing attempts per season.
- 22:49In the event in which we look at the
- 22:51last four seasons with the Giants, 131,
- 22:53114, 96, and 111. I am anticipating for
- 22:56Cam Ward to be a far more rushing
- 22:58opportune quarterback. And when that
- 23:00does take place, if in fact the
- 23:02additions of Carnell Tate and Wandal
- 23:03Robinson are able to help elevate him as
- 23:05a passer, again, he could very easily
- 23:07become a 17 point per game contributor
- 23:10and an easy top 17 prospect this season.
- 23:12Number 25, we have CJ Stout. Look, the
- 23:14reality of the situation is this is a
- 23:16make it or break it year for CJ Strad.
- 23:18He does get himself an improved
- 23:19offensive line that has been
- 23:20restructured and an improved running
- 23:22game with David Montgomery. In the event
- 23:24in which that can unlock his potential,
- 23:26again, CJ Str could be relevant, but not
- 23:27for fantasy purposes. I don't think that
- 23:30this is something that we are hoping to
- 23:31potentially start on a given weekly
- 23:32basis. These are one of my quarterbacks
- 23:34that I'm potentially trying to avoid in
- 23:35a superflex format and only in a
- 23:37desperate situation am I looking in his
- 23:39direction because ultimately his fantasy
- 23:41point contributions have not been at a
- 23:43normal rate since his rookie season.
- 23:46Then we move on to Jacobe Brassette. The
- 23:47only reason Brassette's at number 26 and
- 23:49not higher than all these other
- 23:50quarterbacks in this tier is because I
- 23:52do anticipate eventually he's going to
- 23:53be replaced with a new coaching staff
- 23:55looking towards the 2027 season and
- 23:57hopefully looking to get the number one
- 23:58overall pick of the 2027 NFL draft which
- 24:01is stacked with quarterback talent. I
- 24:02would assume that Mike Lafleur will
- 24:04eventually replace him. But in the event
- 24:05in which of course we get some relevant
- 24:07opportune weeks ahead maybe the first
- 24:09half maybe first 75% of the season with
- 24:11Jacobe Brassette prior to Carson Beck
- 24:14joining this offense. Got to remember
- 24:16that last year from week six through 18
- 24:17in 12 starts was averaging nearly 19
- 24:20fantasy points per game. So easily a
- 24:22relevant option but eventually will be
- 24:23replaced. That could hurt us for fantasy
- 24:25purposes. Number 27 is Bryce Young.
- 24:28Bryce Young has a little bit of a split
- 24:30fantasy personality. That's primarily
- 24:32because in the first half of his seasons
- 24:34from weeks 1 through 10 over the course
- 24:35of the last two years he's averaged
- 24:37anywhere between nine to 10 fantasy
- 24:38points per game. But in the back half of
- 24:41the season, in the final seven games of
- 24:43both of the last two seasons, he has
- 24:45averaged 17.3 and 20.73 fantasy points
- 24:48per game. He is only a relevant
- 24:50quarterback if you plan on starting him
- 24:52at the back end of the season. And if
- 24:53your quarterbacks potentially have by
- 24:55weeks from weeks 11 through 14, if that
- 24:57is in fact you, you can draft Bryce
- 24:59Young. Otherwise, I would not anticipate
- 25:01for him to find much success. And really
- 25:03the only reason he improved in the back
- 25:05end of the year is because he starts to
- 25:07run the football far more. Specifically
- 25:09in the last two years when we talk about
- 25:10his late season antics was averaging
- 25:1318.86 and 25.43 rushing yards per game
- 25:16in comparison to 9.25 and 12.6. I've
- 25:19done my research. Bryce Young is a
- 25:21second half of the year quarterback.
- 25:23Number 28, Aaron Rogers. Look, the
- 25:24reality situation is if you're looking
- 25:26for a solid quarterback three that
- 25:28cannot be replaced by his backup, Aaron
- 25:29Rogers is that answer. He could be far
- 25:31more relevant than we anticipate,
- 25:32especially with Mike McCarthy now there
- 25:34as the play caller and you have improved
- 25:36of course weapons with Michael Pitman
- 25:38Jr. and Rico Dattle joining. Number 29
- 25:41is Gino Smith. I would anticipate late
- 25:43in the season for him to be replaced by
- 25:44Kade Clubnik who is the number two
- 25:46quarterback and rookie. They're going to
- 25:48probably give him some run late in the
- 25:49season as they are of course eliminated
- 25:51from the playoffs. And once that in fact
- 25:53takes place, it will present an
- 25:54opportunity for a lot of the Jets to not
- 25:56be as relevant in terms of the overall
- 25:57success of their fantasy contributions.
- 25:59Hopefully that's not going to be the
- 26:00case, but until then, go with a solid
- 26:02number three option for those of you who
- 26:04are trying to get a third quarterback
- 26:05that can of course contribute in
- 26:06by-weeks. Then we move on to our number
- 26:0830 for Nano Mendoza. Look, with Kurt
- 26:10Cousins named the starter, I would
- 26:11anticipate that Mendoza eventually
- 26:13becomes a starting quarterback at some
- 26:14point into the season. Hopefully earlier
- 26:16rather than later, but if you're going
- 26:17to be drafting him, understand that he
- 26:19eventually is going to take over the
- 26:20job. But as to when that's going to be
- 26:22the case, to be determined. We're hoping
- 26:24by the time that they pass, maybe week
- 26:2510, he could be the starter, but maybe
- 26:27even earlier depending on how badly Kurt
- 26:29Cousins is playing up until then. Then
- 26:31we have Shadur Sanders who eventually is
- 26:33going to take the job from Deshun
- 26:34Watson. It's Deshun Watson's job to lose
- 26:36and he certainly will lose it sooner
- 26:38rather than later. But even when Shadrew
- 26:39Sanders is the starting quarterback, not
- 26:41a relevant fantasy option, even with all
- 26:43the weapons that surround him unless he
- 26:45takes huge strides forward this upcoming
- 26:47season with Todd Mon. Number 32, Michael
- 26:49Penn. The fact that the Falcons have not
- 26:51named a starting quarterback up until
- 26:53this point with Michael Pennix being
- 26:55injured all off seasonason makes me
- 26:57believe that they want to do everything
- 26:58they can in their power to not name two
- 27:01of the starter. And even if they do for
- 27:02week one, eventually Michael Penn once
- 27:04he's ready, whether that's week two,
- 27:05three, seven, doesn't matter, he's
- 27:07eventually going to take over and be the
- 27:08starting quarterback of this offense.
- 27:10Now, speaking of Tua Tongo, let's talk
- 27:12about the final four quarterbacks. Tua,
- 27:14Kurt Cousins, Deshawn Watson, Carson
- 27:16Beck. Again, for those of you guys who
- 27:18are looking for an early quarterback in
- 27:19a superflex format, Tua Kurt Cousins and
- 27:22of course Deshun Watson would be the
- 27:23answer. But unless you're in a super
- 27:24desperate situation, we're probably not
- 27:26looking in the directions. And of
- 27:27course, Carson Beck at number 36. And
- 27:29eventually, if I was to put a number 37
- 27:31on the board, it would be Kate Clubnick.
- 27:33Either way, those are my top 36
- 27:35quarterback rankings for the 2026
