3. 0:04years. The first is Netflix. It has
4. 0:05fallen more than 50%from its highs. The
5. 0:08market believes its growth is stalling,
6. 0:09that YouTube is stealing viewing hours,
7. 0:11and that continuing to grow will become
8. 0:13increasingly difficult.
9. 0:15But Netflix is no longer just a platform
10. 0:16where you pay to watch shows; it is
11. 0:18building its own advertising business,
12. 0:20and this year they expect to generate
13. 0:22over $ 3 billion in revenue from this
14. 0:23segment.
15. 0:25Furthermore, to capture new users, they
16. 0:27are increasingly entering into live
17. 0:29events and sports to bring in a much
18. 0:30broader audience.
19. 0:33Analysts expect its revenue volume to
20. 0:35grow from $ 45 billion last year to over
21. 0:37$ 100 billion in the next decade.
22. 0:40The second is McDonald's, down 30%in
23. 0:43recent months. The market fears that the
24. 0:45loss of consumer purchasing power and
25. 0:47cost pressures are limiting its growth.
26. 0:49But McDonald's has an advantage that
27. 0:51many investors overlook.
28. 0:53It is not simply a hamburger chain, but
29. 0:55also a massive real estate and franchise
30. 0:57business.
31. 0:59Approximately 95%of its restaurants are
32. 1:01franchised, which allows it to collect
33. 1:02rents and royalties without directly
34. 1:04bearing most of those operating costs.
35. 1:08And keep in mind, McDonald's already
36. 1:10owns about 45,000 restaurants worldwide
37. 1:12, but it continues to bet on growth,
38. 1:14planning to reach 50,000 restaurants by
39. 1:162028.
40. 1:18And finally, Oracle has fallen nearly 70
41. 1:20%from its highs.
42. 1:22The market is punishing it for all the
43. 1:23money they are investing in artificial
44. 1:25intelligence data centers and for the
45. 1:27fear that all that investment will take
46. 1:28too long to start generating profit.
47. 1:31But while the market sells it off, its
48. 1:34cloud infrastructure business is growing
49. 1:36by over 120%year-over-year, and Oracle
50. 1:38already has over $ 660 billion in
51. 1:40remaining performance obligations.
52. 1:43The company is becoming one of the major
53. 1:45infrastructure providers for AI, and
54. 1:47demand is growing so fast that the
55. 1:49company itself admits it does not yet
56. 1:51have enough capacity to meet it.
